• Victoria (9/5): Venice is just so beautiful and the apartment had perfect location for us to make the most of it. - We collected keys from nearby hotel. Very quick, they were very welcoming and gave us directions to the apartment. (5 mins walk) The apartment location was amazing - short walk to canal, Saint Marc's Square and shops etc. The canal 'stop' was also close by the hotel to go to the airport. The hotel also helped us with tourist queries and were happy to take our luggage until check in and when we are leaving for the airport. We asked the hotel the best way to get to Murano and they said a private boat will pick you up in 20 minutes and will ensure you have a private tour. Who knew? We would happily have paid. The apartment was lovely. 3 bedrooms with picture window and a small but perfectly formed terrace which overlooked rooftops of surrounding apartments and shops. It was just perfect. We had breakfast on the terrace every morning and wine as the sun went down every evening before dinner. The kitchen is well stocked but we only really needed a corkscrew and coffee cups/plates. It was perfect. We were three single girls but it could easily accommodate couples as each room had either double bed or two singles. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again. IF am being really picky, the pillows were a bit hard and there was no mirror or hanging space in the twin bedroom, but it's right next to bathroom with mirror and the wardrobes in the other rooms were huge so all good. The roof terrace was up a very steep set of stairs so bit precarious but worth the short climb.

• PaiYao (10/5): - 需要搭乘約30分鐘的水上巴士才能抵達, 但非常值得！地理位置非常方便, 鬧中取靜, 一出巷子就是精品街, 治安也不錯, 離廣場約5-10分鐘而已。有三間房間非常適合家庭！客廳和廚房都有大面窗戶, 可以欣賞對面餐廳的綠牆, 採光非常好。 以為有電梯, 但其實在二樓, 需要稍微搬一下行李。

• MIKAEL M (9/5): Excellent, Clean, Well-equipped Apartment If It Meets Your Needs - This is a large, clean, well equipped apartment with two bedrooms that could easily accommodate four people. We expected to be a group of three, but one dropped out at the last minute, so the apartment was larger than we needed, but it was too late to change what we had booked. That said, this would be ideal for a stay of a week or more for a group, particularly if they wanted to be near to the most famous attractions of Venice, such as San Marco, but there are no conveniently located nearby grocery stores. The location itself is very quiet. This apartment is equipped with – among many other things – an oven, a dishwasher, and a washing machine for clothing. Upon arrival, one must fetch the keys at a nearby hotel (relationship with Salmaso Apartments unknown) and return them there when leaving. The nearest vaporetto stop is Santa Maria del Giglio on line #1. We learned that we would have preferred a location in the San Polo sestriere (district), and, in the event, the apartment was larger than we needed. Neither is a fault of the apartment. Venice is spectacular and wonderful, but it's not what it used to be.

• ANTONIO (10/5): Una ubicación perfecta para descubrir Venecia a tu ritmo - -La ubicación es perfecta, a 5 minutos de la plaza de San Marcos. Parada de vaporetto muy cercana también. -El apartamento está en perfecto estado y es muy amplio. Tiene todo tipo de comodidades (cuatro aires acondicionados incluidos). Zona muy tranquila, pese a estar tan cerca del centro de la ciudad. -Hay una terraza a la que se accede con ciertas estrecheces. Si el tiempo acompaña, se puede comer allí arriba admirando las vistas de los alrededores. -El personal del hotel donde recogimos las llaves es muy atento. Tras el check-out, pudimos dejar las maletas almacenadas para dar una última vuelta por la ciudad antes de ir al aeropuerto. -Creo que es la mejor opción para ver Venecia, ya que está muy céntrico y puedes ir caminando a cualquier parte. Poca cosa. Por decir algo: -La primera vez cuesta un poco encontrar la calle del apartamento cuando llegas desde el hotel (hay muchas callejuelas), pero luego te acostumbras. -Hay bastantes mosquitos en la zona, pero te avisan de que no abras las ventanas y te facilitan espray matamosquitos y aparatos con pastillas, por si acaso. -No hay ascensor y el apartamento está en un segundo piso, pero tampoco es algo muy grave. -No hay supermercados excesivamente cerca, pero si te planificas bien, puedes llenar la nevera para un par de días en una visita al Despar más cercano.

One of the few available possibilities for a group of 17 people (University professor + students), but exceeded our expectations. • Alan (9/5): Great accommodation in a convenient and central location - This was the second time I stayed in Salmaso Apartments. This time I chose a 3 bedroom apartment as I was travelling with family. The accommodation suited us very well. Fantastic location near St Mark's Square and only a short walk from the vaporetto stop (served by both the alilaguna from the airport and the regular No.1 waterbus) and the hotel where you pick up the keys. Nothing. Everything was great.

• Bridget (9/5): A lovely stay with friends. - We collected the keys from the sister hotel which was close by. The reception was staffed by very helpful and friendly people. They were also able to book us a water taxi for our return to the airport and we waited in their lounge. The apartment kitchen was very well equipped, with both a nespresso machine and moka pot. Lots of crockery, glasses and cooking equipment too. Plenty of towels were provided. The beds were comfortable. Excellent location close to a vaporetto stop. Our apartment didn't have a terrace but this didn't bother us for the time we were there. The air-conditioning unit in the main bedroom had been set to work only during a given period of time and try as we might we couldn't get it to work when we wanted it to (ie during the night). It wasn't possible to sleep with the windows open due to mosquitos. Pillows in double room were really fat and hard - had to sleep without on the first night. We found softer spares in the master bedroom wardrobe for rest of the stay. No clothing storage in double bedroom. Need more clothes pegs for outside line or an airer for indoors.

It would have been nice for there to be some milk and water in the fridge for us because we arrived later in the evening. We did manage to get some from a local restaurant who kindly sold us some.

• English (9/5): Fantastic - the apartment was everything we needed and more - Loved the location, very close to everything n the centre. The apartment was spotless and near to at least two water bus spots. We didn't meet the host but we didn't need to. They were very helpful answering questions on line before we arrived. We didn't d any cooking but if we had wanted to, the kitchen is very well equipped. They even provide a trolley at the bottom of the stairs for anyone who wants to bring home food shopping - very thoughtful Very, very small things. I shared the twin room with my grandson and one of us had to get out of bed to switch off the light. A couple of small, reading lamps - even battery ones at the bedsides would be great. Not everyone sharing a room wants to go to sleep at the same time. And while the kitchen is very well stocked, we couldn't find any chopping boards or bread boards. We were a party of four and while you could sleep six (if there are two couples) it would be a bit cosy bathroom wise.

• Iuliia (8/5): - Отличные апартаменты на тихой улочке в самом центре. Много всякой посуды на кухне, тостер, блендер и т.д. Очень чисто, полотенец целая гора. В каждой комнате кондинционер. Ремонт немного староватый, но за счёт чистоты неплохо. Стена в спальне с большим стеклом, где бы не включили свет, в комнате сразу светло, что мешает спать. Плюс, конечно, никакой звукоизоляции. Хотябы штору туда повесить. Слив в душе надо почистить и поменять душевую лейку.

I left cash as requested but the owner raised a false dispute against me for that unpaid invoice which was inserted against Booking.com/my awareness. The flat itself was very filthy and dirty. Towels were in poor and used condition.

• sandra (9/5): tolles Appartment mit viel Platz - Tolle Lage, Markusplatz ist nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt, sauber, gute Ausstattung und bequeme Betten die Stechmücken, man sollte den Rat befolgen, die Fenster zu zulassen

• Clara (9/5): Muy recomendable - Muy bien comunicado; con la parada de Vaporetto Giglio muy cerca. Cerquisima también la plaza de San Marcos. Calle tranquila y sin ruidos y apartamento limpio y equipado. No tiene ascensor. El frigorífico se estropeó el último dia antes de irnos. Afortunadamente no tuvimos muchos problemas, pero tuvimos que apagarlo por el ruido que empezó a hacer.
