• Leah Louise Bell (9/5): Wonderful Venetian experience in a central location - Such a wonderful area to stay in Venice, just footsteps to the buzzing Campo Santa Margarita filled with fabulous restaurants, cafes and a supermarket. Reasonably close to the Venezia Santa Lucia train station to walk with small suitcases, or catch a vaporetto. We actually walked everywhere, it took 20 minutes to reach St Marks Square … if you didn’t get side tracked with everything on the way. The apartment was very homely & comfortable, it had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Basic condiments, tea and coffee, bathroom supplies and a washing machine/dryer. We struck a couple of cold and rainy days, we found extra blankets and a hot water bottle in the trunk by the couch. Loved the canal view from the window to peak out to, no balcony though. If you have mobility issues, the 36 stairs up to the apartment could be an issue. The shower water temperature was just only warm, so no hot showers
• Pavel (9/5): - Очень уютная и хорошо оборудованная квартира в центре Венеции, рядом с площадью Санта Маргерита. В квартире есть все необходимое для комфортного проживания. При желании за дополнительную плату (20 евро) можно получить дополнительный комплект белья для раскладного дивана. Расположение - лучше не придумаешь: вокруг множество баров и ресторанов, на другом конце площади за углом магазин Conad. До всех достопримечательностей района Дорсодуро максимум 10 минут пешком, до вокзала Санта Лючия около 15 минут. Окна квартиры выходят на Рио де Санта Маргерита (а вовсе не на Большой Канал, как указано в описании). Но при этом в квартире довольно тихо и спится отлично, особенно если плотно закрыть ставни. Это большой плюс по сравнению с многими другими отелями и квартирами в центре, которые часто находятся в очень шумных и оживленных местах. Нам очень понравилось, мы с удовольствием остановимся в этом месте еще раз, когда приедем в Венецию. Для получения ключей нужно договариваться с хозяином на конкретное время, что не очень удобно, особенно если ты точно не знаешь время своего прибытия. Ждать итальянцы очень не любят. Нам повезло, что мы уже были в Венеции и переезжали из другого отеля поблизости, иначе, думаю, нам пришлось бы сложно.
• Pierre-Yves (10/5): Excellent logement au sein du quartier universitaire - Excellent emplacement, très proche de l’université, ainsi que de nombreux restaurants et commerces , et très calme. Accueil efficace et sympathique. Très bonne communication. La couverture du lit très lourde, il faudrait en proposer de plus légères.

• ROBERT (7/5): Spacious apartment in a great location - Piazza Margarita is a great location with lively bars and restaurants nearby and off the crowded centre, there is an ok supermarket for shopping if you don`t want to dine every day. Interesting interieur, special style. The view wasn´t great (narrow back canal), the takeover of the key was a bit cumbersome and we had to sign another rental contract other than the booking contract.

• Nicholas (10/5): Beautiful apartment that suited us perfectly during our 4 day stay. - The property was in a great location with great amenities nearby and had lovely views overlooking a canal. It was perfectly spacious for 2 people with interesting interiors and a well-equipped kitchen. We had amazing communication with the host who was very helpful.

Logement très propre. Très bien situé proche du campo Margherita. Vue sur le canal qui passe au pied de l'appartement. Les personnes responsables du logement sont facilement joignables si besoin. Tout était parfait.

• Lina (10/5): The perfect apartment for a wonderful and romantic getaway - The location is excellent, the design is very unique, the apartment is spacious and stocked with everything one could possibly need. The staff were very friendly, accommodating and helpful. The square the apartment is on is buzzing with activity and great bars and restaurants, yet the property is really quiet. I know many people mentioned the stairs as a negative but they weren’t at all bad especially if you’re used to stairs in your own house. Loved everything about it. Absolutely nothing

• Ryan (8/5): Confusion on easiest way to get there but it all worked out good in the end. - Good location .. good food right outside your door. You can walk there in about 20 with luggage. Even if you take the ferry it will still take 20 minutes to walk there just from the other side. Google maps works great turn off ferry and set to walk. The property is good it’s all the trash around the area. They really need more garbage cans in public areas.
• Cynthia (10/5): Wonderfully responsive host in a terrific neighborhood location. - I was a bit challenged to find the place the first time, but was met at the gate by an affable, knowledgeable guy, who carried my bag up 3.5 flights of stairs and into the idiosyncrasies of Residenza sara. The art and furnishings are interesting and unique. The kitchen well-stocked, great shower. Much to enjoy, especially the neighborhood, full of life. I should have read more closely about the stairs!

• Russ (10/5): Great bolthole in Dorsoduro - Everything you need and a great location for a few days in Venice. Located only a few steps from a lovely square, which I assume could get quite lively in high season. Being in the Dorsoduro district, there are plenty of students around, which only adds to the experience. Communication from the owner was excellent. The only possible downside is the second floor location if you struggle with stairs.

• James (10/5): If you love to explore the real Venice away from heavy crowds, this is a great location to be in. - The location was on Campo Santa Margherita next to a college campus so it was filled with college students who were very helpful and polite. There are many restaurants and pubs/bars in this Campo and the location was reasonably close to every thing we wanted to see. We walked everywhere with no difficulty. The apartment is gorgeous and well appointed. When we had a miscommunication with an employee, the owner, Sara, met with us to make sure everything was handled to our satisfaction. Cannot say enough as to how pleasant she was to us. We are an 80 year old couple so we did have some difficulty getting our suitcases up and down the 36 stone steps which were well worn and uneven. But other than that everything was as advertised and our stay in Venice could not have been better.

So nice to be able to walk downstairs to Campo S M and get great food and drink. Loving room is ok but smaller than it looks in photos. This apt is fine for 1 or 2 people but would not be comfortable for 4. The stairs up 2 flights are hard to navigate because they are so old and deformed. Hard even with just a carryon bag.

• Trish (9/5): Fabulous, impeccable. Local neighbourhood feel. - Fabulous location, in a local neighbourhood and we caught a glimpse of daily life, away from the crowds. Campo Santa Margherita is lively with kids after school, small shops, eateries and a small morning market but the apartment is quiet. Close to Penny Guggenheim museum and easily walkable to vaporetto to visit tourist sights. - Impeccably clean, good amenities and very comfortable, this was a highlight of our stays in Italy. - Loved the Venetian decor and furnishings and opening windows. Internal stone steps leading to the apartment are part of the character of heritage buildings, so we had to be careful with carrying our luggage. - Directions supplied to reach the property cross 3 bridges and with luggage in the heat, is arduous. After check-out we took a different direction - from the apartment, walk towards Campo Barnaba (you cross only one bridge to reach it) then walk along Calle Traghetto until ‘Rezzonico’ vaporetto stop ‘- from here we caught a vaporetto to Santa Lucia Station (30 mins). Quite straightforward and we got a last view of Rialto along the way. We enquired about an alternative route for reaching the apartment with luggage and it’s surprising we weren’t offered the vaporetto option.
