• Andrea (9/5): Soggiorno romantico in atmosfera e location assolutamente veneziane. A due passi da tutto. - Posizione super strategica per visitare Venezia, sia San Marco che Dorsoduro. Si va ovunque a piedi. L’appartamento è veramente bello, con vista sui tetti di Venezia e sul canale. Arredato con gusto e ideale per cinque persone. Tende non sufficientemente oscuranti (non ci sono le persiane). Qualche genere di conforto in più (ad esempio cialde in più, qualche snack confezionato, un paio di bottiglie d’acqua omaggio. Non c’è TV nella camera matrimoniale. Ma sono veramente dettagli, la casa è davvero perfetta.
• Sebastian (5/5): Enttäuschend für den Preis - für Familien komplett ungeeignet! - Die Lage war wunderbar, der Gastgeber freundlich. Vieles: 1.) Man sollte die Gäste darüber informieren, dass man drei Stockwerke über steile Treppen überwinden muss. Mit Kindern und Gepäck eine echte Herausforderung. 2.) Es gibt sehr laute Nachbarn, die auch in der Nacht noch Lärm machen. 3.) Die Heizung funktioniert nicht ordentlich. 4.) Die Wohnung ist in Wahrheit ein großer Raum, der teils mit Gardinen abgetrennt ist und daher sehr hellhörig - mit kleinen Kindern kann das problematisch sein.

• John (10/5): Wonderful family apartment in the heart of Venice - Amazing location, plenty of room. A great base from which to explore magical venice, you can even get a gondola ride from the bridge right outside the apartment. Nice touch was the small rooftop terrace, perfect for having a morning coffee (from the nespresso machine in the kitchen) before setting off for a day's adventure. All felt very safe and we were made a very warm welcome on arrival. Air conditioning in the bedrooms in case it gets a little hot. We were a family of 5 and had plenty of room. Maybe the beds were a little hard to sleep on, but for 3 nights it's only a minor worry. Just be aware the apartment is at the very top of 3 flights of stairs, ok for us but those who have mobility difficulties may find it hard.

• Stephen (9/5): Great place for us to explore Venice from. Would book again. - We had a great stay at San Marco. The property entrance is off a main walkway down a narrow alleyway. You go through a black door and up 3 flights of narrow stairs to reach a beautifully decorated, warm modern apartment. We had good communication and were greeted on time by the friendly staff member. The location is central and only 5 mins walk to St Marks square and 2 mins to water bus stop Giglio. The living area was spacious with an 8 seat dining table, a flat screen wall mounted TV on a swing arm, good internet and with views of the top of St Marks Bell Tower and Canal below with Gondolas and signing boat men.(no noise if windows were closed!) The main bedroom is upstairs has a private bathroom, large shower and has the outside terrace attached. The two bedrooms off the living area were good with another bathroom and large shower. All modern and clean the whole Appartment is double glaze and temperature controlled. Kitchen was compact, but no oven just gas top stove and microwave. We loved our stay in Venice and would highly recommend. Low ceiling in some parts for taller people. No oven just gas top stove. Stairs maybe a challenge for less able people.

Loved the cold ac in all the bedrooms, comfortable beds, gorgeous furnishings, iron, blow dryers, and coffee maker! And we really appreciated them arranging a flawless boat transfer from the train station! Excellent host Some stairs to the apartment could be challenging for elderly guests but they’re every bit worth it to have a roof deck and beautiful views from every window!
• Brigid (10/5): Great location to experience the true Venice - We loved the location and could listen to the music from the Gondola’s in the morning. It was spacious for 5 sisters. Beds and bathrooms were clean and comfortable carpet outside apartment entrance was dirty and steps up to apartment were steep and lighting could have been better. Not suitable for less able person.

• Jason (6/5): Pleasant - Location was convenient to dock, restaurants & attractions. Bathrooms were lacking some conveniences, no place to put robe or towels anywhere near the shower. No written instructions on how to use anything (appliances, TV, recycling/trash procedures) in the apartment. LOTS of stairs, hard to maneuver with luggage. Host was given the cell phone number we were using while in Italy but kept trying to communicate with us regarding city tax/passport info via other phone numbers we have on Booking.com account and messages did not get through to us.

• Susan (10/5): It was a brilliant stay from start to finish. - Can't thank Dimitri & his Mum enough for all their help during the booking process answering any questions before travel. Dimitri met us as we got off the water taxi and took all our heavy luggage up the 3 flights of stairs & explained bits & pieces. He told us where to find the local supermarket so we could stock up on supplies for our stay. There were several guide books to use in the apartment which was really useful. Everything in the apartment was as we thought it would be from the photographs it was just lovely. The location was just brilliant and so central. We bumped into Dimitri a couple of times during our visit & he showed us some short cuts which were really useful. We can't thank them enough for making our stay so brilliant. If we were to visit again we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you.
