- Tim M Brown (9/5): - Spacious apartment in a quiet neighborhood very close to a vaporetto stop. Clean with good supply of hot water and adjustable heating. Self check in was also useful as I was arriving quite late. The arrangement of two small and narrow single beds seemed rather odd. I would have preferred a larger bed for my comfort.
It is convenient for the S. Marta vaporetto stop but a fair walk into the centre of Venice and I wouldn't recommend attempting the walk from the train station as I did.
The neighbourhood was quiet but the apartment block seems to have thin walls so I could hear the neighbours. One had what I assume was a badly installed spin drier as there was the occasional very loud bumping noise.

- Philippa (6/5): - Area was outside of central Venice near university- lovely to walk around and not crowded. Good cafe and 10 mins walk to supermarket. Close to ferry stop for ferry to Croatia. Water taxi stop close by for Central Venice. Lovely view from bedroom. Living area and bedroom spacious. Washing machine and necessities provided. Bathroom very small - if you were tall you would need to sit sideways on toilet. Apartment was a bit tired with mish mash of equipment. Apartment was on 3rd floor with no lift. Felt a bit strange being in a block which was all residential.
- Seth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Beverly (5/5): We made do an overall good trip - Great location in a very quiet neighborhood. Five minutes to the water taxi. About 20 minute walk to restaurants. When we arrived the air conditioner was not working and the host was not very accomadating. After jumping thru his hoops to try to get the A\C working he finally sent someone to fix it. Be aware of the elevated kithen floor. Easy to trip and fall. Bathroom is not accommadating for plus size people. Bathroom doors leak and flood the floor. Had to put towels down to keep water in shower. Black mold on the bathroom walls. No clothes pins to hang our laundry.
- Tamriko (10/5): Exceptional -
- Clara (8/5): Gabriele Macaro was excellent. He stayed late to make sure we found the apartment to check in. It was late and raining - It was very close to water bus stop. Had nice kitchen. Mattresses not comfortable. Very thin.
- Demetris_nicosia_cy (6/5): Spacious place but not really clean or comfortable - Convenience to the University halls - Beds were not confortable and hard
- No shampoo or toilet soap amenities
- No toilet garbage basket
- Dirty or worn kitchen utencils
- Not even a bottle of water as courtecy
- The internet was dead slow
- Towels were worn out and not very clean
- Luana (10/5): Excellent location and great host! Everything was perfect. -
- Ronald (1/5): Don't go there - It had a washing machine No service. Wouldn't message the entrance code. Insisted we send a photo of us at the door even though we didn't have wifi. Wouldn't book us a taxi to cruise terminal. Everything was done remotely. Never experienced this before, not even in Russia
- Carlos (8/5): Good place - The apartment was great. A bit expensive for the location it is.
- Ann (8/5): Very helpful staff! - Quiet area off the beaten path. Blankets needed to be washed.
- Maxine (8/5): We had a lovely stay although we had some issues with the boiler but these were rectified very quickly. - Good value for money and the location suited us. It would have been nice to have an information pack available, with some details of the local area and facilities. WhatsApp communication was good but it is nice to read some leaflets for information and maybe some menus or recommendations for local restaurants and supermarkets.
- Hasan (8/5): Very good -
- Veruňka (8/5): Absolutely perfect location, great apartment and very friendly owners. - Great location and very friendly owners. The communication was very fast and we had all the organizational information that we needed so everything was smooth. The windows could be protected so that the mosquitos couldn't fly inside.
- Cecile (4/5): Location in a quiet place but no hot shower - The location is good for people who like to be outside of the tourist area, in a quiet place. It is easy to reach the very centre (by boat) or even walking (30mn). The place is spacious. The bedroom is big. There was no one to open the place or give us the key when we arrived. We had to wait 1h30 mn. Even though, we confirmed our time of arrival and we arrived on time. They only told us when we arrived at the airport, that they couldn't wait for us. There is also a problem with the shower. It is NOT possible to have a hot shower (the temperature changes all the time). Reading the comments, I can see that this problem has been on for almost 2 years. It is not acceptable at 180 euros / night (I would accept it if the room was cheaper). At almost 200 euros per nignt, the minimum is to have a shower that works and someone to open you the door.
- Vladislava (9/5): Superb - Clean, comfortable and cozy apartment. The hosts were very nice and welcoming. The shower was the only place which was not so clean, it was very mouldy.
- Berndt (6/5): Would not recommend for tourists - The apartment was clean and the staff went out of their way to allow us to check in earlier and drop our bags The location is quite far outside a main area with restaurants etc. Think it is overpriced compared with other accommodation in the city.
- Anthony (8/5): Very good -
- Patrycja (9/5): Superb - Spacious, quiet place with a great location (just 2min from the vaporetto stop) - highly recommended if you want to stay outside of the city centre but still be able to get there fast when needed :) Contact with the hosts was easy and response time quick.
- Roswyn (10/5): This is the second time I've been to this accommodation, and I would definitely return. - Friendliness of landlord and quick responses. Close to Santa Marta vaporetto stop Close to Conad grocery shop.
- Vaudjc (8/5): Very good - non applicable non applicable
- Angelos (7/5): Good -
- Mitzi (5/5): Rudest people in the world and most uncomfortable stay. - Nothing. The location was further away from places than we expected. We had a terrible time finding the place:5 hours to be exact: over bridges, under bridges. My back was really hurting, and my husband was as well. We are from small islands that don't use ferries to get around. WE use planes and have international airports, so we were quite confused there. Long story short: my phone wasn't working, and everyone said the apartment was a 10-minute walk. We finally got internet from a bar owner so we could call them. The owner got upset with us for being late. I tried to explain that my phone wasn't working properly in Italy, and it doesn't take Italy sim. She fussed at me all the way to the apartment and even when we got there. Also, the first night we went out to get groceries and the ferries wouldn't stop at our location even though it was on their route. The last one even stopped at the dock and wouldn't open the gate. My husband got upset at that point. The person that opens the gate said that we must wait for the next ferry in two minutes. The water ferry people are rude. Even some of the grocery store people. I have never felt so uncomfortable in my life. We were scared to go out because we were afraid that we wouldn't get back to the apartment for hours.
My suggestion to the people of Venice is to treat foreigners better or find another way to make money. I recommend all of my friends to never visit Venice. My country has a program called PRIDE which is delivered by our Tourism Department. Under it is Customer service. The Tourism Bureu in Venice should have training like this for everyone if they want to continue to have tourists. PRIDE stands for Personal Responsibility In Delivering Excellence. Venice has a reputation for the people being rude and I don't think that is the reputation that you should have as a people. People make a country. In my country, people would be fired for that behavior.
