Tanto la cocina como la terraza espectacular. Estar tan cerca de todo, poder volver a descansar cuando nos apetecía e incluso salir de noche y vivir Venecia tranquila, ha sido lo mejor! Aunque lo sabíamos ya que avisan, tienes que estar preparado para subir escaleras ;)!

• Aaron Alberto (10/5): Best way to live as a local for a few days - Location is perfect and the rooftop is a genuine experience for the dolce vita in la Serenissima. Plenty supermarkets around and 2 min. away from the canal. Everything was perfect... just be aware that there is no lift, so if you are carrying a lot of luggage, you will struggle a little.

• Sarah (10/5): Fabulous stay, would definitely stay here again. - The location of this property is perfect. We arrived by plane and took a water taxi in to the recommended stop. It was beautiful experiencing the small canals. From the stop it was a short walk to the apartment. We only traveled with carryon luggage and it was easy to navigate the one bridge and sidewalks. Once settled we are able to easily get to St Marks Square and the Rialto Bridge. The neighborhood itself was very nice with some great restaurants right down stairs and a delicious gelato spot. There was also a market where we could have picked up items if we needed. Check in was easy. We were greeted by Francesco who showed us around the apartment. The apartment was clean and the beds comfortable. There was plenty of space for our family of 6. The kitchen was easy to use and had everything we needed to reheat some leftovers. Barbara was very responsive and easy to work with using WhatsApp. The view from the roof top balcony was so wonderful. The sunset was beautiful and I even saw a rainbow. It was nice to have some quiet outdoor space to enjoy. Not an issue, but worth noting you do need to walk up stairs to get to the apartment.
• katharina (9/5): Es war richtig schön, das Appartment ist gut ausgestattet und die Terrasse ist der Wahnsinn. - Die Terrasse ist einfach toll! Das Appartment lädt zum gemeinsam Verweilen ein. Es gibt sogar ein paar Kinderspielzeuge. Zudem Trinkflaschen für den Alltag und viele kleine hilfreiche Details (Kabel, Stecker, Kochgeschirr). Insgesamt lief die Kommunikation hervorragend. Super Angaben zur Müllentsorgung, damit hat es spitze geklappt. Die Betten waren im Übrigen sehr gut gemacht und sehr bequem. Wir haben gut geschlafen. (Die Betten im unteren Zimmer sind recht hart) Leider gingen weder die Waschmaschine noch die Spülmaschine richtig. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns gesagt, dass läge an dem Sewagesystem von Venedig. Da wir aber auf eine funktionierende Waschmaschine angewiesen waren, war dies äußerst ärgerlich und hätte uns vorher kommuniziert werden müssen. Wir hätten ggf uns für eine andere Unterkunft entschieden. Die Waschmaschine ist im 5. Stock wo der Wasserdruck recht gering ist. Wir haben dann Handwäsche gemacht und die Kleidung zu einer lokalen Wäscherei gebracht. Wir haben vor der Tür 20 Minuten auf den Schlüssel gewartet, aber eigentlich lief die Kommunikation sehr gut. Wir hatten vollstes Vertrauen, dass es klappt und es hat geklappt.

• Sun (9/5): Superb - Amazing view from that terrace, despite the drizzle. This is clearly a beloved apartment. It's like being in a great home with the owner's books and funky decor. Even a washing machine! The potable water filter tap was very useful as was the great kitchen in general with it's coffee machines and beautiful design. Not an issue really but beware that there is no lift and many stairs

• Ashley (6/5): Wasn’t the best experience but the roof top is amazing. - Barbara reached out about a month before the reservation to confirm the bedroom configurations. We were two couples and two singles in the three bedrooms. Upon arrival, which I had to confirm 5 times with multiple people, two bedrooms were set up with single beds. She wasn’t able to send “housekeeping” until the next day which was basically 50% of the reservation and he didn’t even fix the bed set up. I had also declined them coming but they still showed up at 8:30am ringing the doorbell. The downstairs bathroom toilet also was…questionable.

Super Host who provided us with meat, cheeses, fruits, and wines to accommodate our late arrival. We were very impressed! A LOT of steps to climb but it was good to work off all the gelato we ate. :)
• Sara (10/5): Lovely visit to Venice! - This property was perfect for the 3 generations of women in my family. It was so close to everything that we wanted to see with plenty of space to spread out and be comfortable. The rooftop terrace was an added bonus with an incredible 360 degree view. I would definitely recommend a stay here. The stairs. But this is Venice. We are all in good shape so the actual climb wasn’t a problem. It was the climb with heavy luggage for 2 weeks. BUT Barbara had asked if we needed help with luggage, and I didn’t follow through. She kindly arranged for us to have help for a small fee on our departure. If you are traveling with luggage for a weekend you will be fine. And possibly fine if traveling with heavy luggage with some strong males. But if not, request the luggage help. It was worth every cent.

• Kelly (10/5): 360 degree views of Venice, a stones throw to attractions and a gorgeous apartment! - You couldn't beat this location, the view from the rooftop was spectacular. The apartment is HUGE. So much space for our family of 5. Enough that if we needed some solo time we were able too. Close to the main tourist attractions, yet far enough to feel tucked away. The apartment itself was just gorgeous, beautifully styled and had everything you may possibly need. Wished we could have stayed longer! Its not something we didn't like, just something you should know (we did prior to booking so came prepared) the apartment is up on the 5th floor, so there are some steep staircases to climb with luggage and children in tow. We were able to climb them easily, with our suitcases and three kids, so it is manageable.

• David (9/5): Perfect rooftop for a perfect time in Venice! - Perfect rooftop with all the facilities needed for a plesant stay. Loved everything about it and we felt like true Venezians. Ideal for families. nothing negative to say. No elevator but that’s the price for having a marvellous rooftop.
