Guest Reviews
Voucher upoważnia do kawy i rogalika. Dla faceta to ciut za mało. Ogólnie mieszkanie wymaga remontu. Klimatyzacja działała prawidlowo ale to wiadro do którego skrapla sie woda to słabe rozwiązanie. Wylewanie wody z wiadra dla osób niskiego wzrostu będzie niemożliwe a trzeba to robić, bo woda się przeleje i będzie zalane mieszkanie. Trzeba pamiętać, żeby odłożyć sobie € na koniec, bo właściciel przypomni o pozostawieniu w gotówce podatku. Warto od razu zapytać o wysokość podatku.
- AMMAR (4/5): - Good location, good for short stay and solo travel Not clean at all
- Andrew & Amy (6/5): Better than a hostel but not like the pictures. - Location was really good with easy access to the metro, lots of food shops and within easy walking distance of the Vatican. Washing machine, fridge and hot plate were very beneficial. Air conditioner worked really well (apart from having to empty the bucket). Street noise was minimal and the building was secure. Price for an apartment in this location was good, as it’s not too different to the cost of a hostel, but you have your own space and amenities. The apartment no longer looks like the photos online (run down/needs some care) and there were two main issues for us:
- the internet didn’t work for us at all and with limited reception inside the building, this meant we often had to go outside for research/planning.
- there was no mention in the description from the owner about having to empty a bucket for the air conditioner. For us, this meant one of us standing on one of the kitchen chairs. If someone is too heavy or too short, they would be unable to use the air conditioner.
There were also some more minor issues that detracted from the stay e.g.
- the shower attachment is loose/broken, which means the shower head is not firmly held in place. If you turn the shower on too strongly, the shower head pivots and sprays all over the bathroom.
- the bedside light didn’t work, which meant reading with the main light on or by torch light.
- TV remote was missing a battery.
- only two of the hot plates worked.
- there was no jug or toaster, as shown in the pictures online.
- the toilet space (and shower) is really tight. You could not be too big to use this.
As stated, some of these are pretty minor but it shows a lack of care/maintenance.

- Anna (7/5): - The flat is cozy and cute, could be better feels like there’s no one looking after the property because with little maintenances the place would be great. AC has a bucket for the water disposal, the bucket was full got many things wet and dripping the whole night long. In overall is decent. I wouldn’t recommend going to Tony Bar for breakfast as it is far away and they don’t seem happy to serve the “free breakfast”. Would recommend going to the Second caffee turning right Rizzi Cafe or something like that, they treat you well and is closer.
- Guest (7/5): -
- Siranush (7/5): Good -
- Kjulafkovski (7/5): Good - Cozzy small apartment near Vatican cty The toalet was very tide, there was TV but without program
- Ashoke (8/5): very good hotel. - very good cleansed hotel . non availability of front desk staff at noon time.
- Bagasin (5/5): Overall Decent place, - It was cozy, I mean they have AC and feels good. After a day of walking. Poor connection specially wifi. They have wifi, but slow
- Mirkka (8/5): Good for sleeping. - Short walk at metro. Nice and good restaurants around.
- Kihobi (8/5): Very good -
- Zayda (7/5): Good - Centrally located, accessible to train, bus, close to the Vatican No accessible to people with disabilities
- Ekaterina (4/5): Bearable for couple of day when better options are booked out. - Location Super narrow tiny shower with super dirty moldy shower curtain which touches your skin no matter how small you are. The second floor, the stairs - inconvenient. Cold in winter, heater didn’t work. Dirty floor and all feels dirty. Noise from the corridor.
- Ramina (8/5): Very good - Location is perfect, you can walk to every place.
- Mirela (9/5): Superb - It's cheap. Close to Vatican City. Between 2 metrostations. Nice and clean. Some coffee in the apartment for the morning.
The matrass was very uncomfortable.
- Adéla (4/5): Truly disappointed - The only good thing was the apartment's location and traditional Italian breakfast in nearest bar (croissant and coffee). The apartment was really dirty, kitchen wasn't even furnished and you couldn't even cook a meal there. It was difficult to get into the apartment because the doors were very old and hard to open.
- Genevieve (1/5): Unsafe, dirty, no wifi - The location. Wifi didn't work. Power kept tripping - after a couple of days I realised it was the water heater. Owner's response was to tell me that I could go to the dark and dirty basement to turn it on. Unsafe plug points. Wifi cable with exposed wires. Dark apartment and not clean. Frayed carpet on stairs, paint and wood damaged in bathroom, sink in kitchen filthy, surfaces not clean. Front door didn't lock securely. The owner said he would come with a locksmith to fix it but didn't.
Probably the dodgiest place I've ever stayed in.
The owner has offered a refund but I haven't received it yet.
- Marko (6/5): Pleasant - Great location. A place needs renovation.
- Joy (10/5): we enjoyed our 9 day stay in this apartment. It was at the end of our month long trip across Italy. Being away from th - this property was not in the center of Rome but was within an easy walking distance of all sites. The neighborhood was very safe (right across the street from a police station/building. Lots of good restaurants, high end shopping and grocery stores. Everyone we met was very friendly and helpful. the area was quite and the apartment was good for two people. Everything was great. Any problems were quickly addressed by the manager. we could never get the washing machine to work, probably more on us because the machines are quite different than in the US.
- Boriana (10/5): Great! - Very good location- close to the Vatican. The property is located on the ground floor which was very comfortable. We liked the traditional Italian breakfast which was included in the price and we had to go to a great bar in the neighbourhood to get our “cappuccino e cornetto”. The bed is super large and comfortable. The wifi connection was excellent. There’s also a tv but we didn’t have the time to use it. There was noise coming from the hallway of the building.
- Julian (1/5): Bad - Basically I did not stay in the place as the owner did not show up with the key, even if I sent him the time I would be arriving. Tried also to call him but calls went straight to voice mail. In short, I was left outside in the cold and had to find somewhere else to stay. Unfortunately it was paid in advance so he still got the money. This place is a scam.
- Kyaw (6/5): Pleasant -
- Tomasi (7/5): Good -
- Luis (10/5): Exceptional - The location was great, near to the Vatican. The WC wasn’t comfortable.
- Milincic (8/5): Great. - Great location, near to Vatican and metro connection to airport.
For that money with brakfast at Tonys caffe, more than good! Wifi signal is very bad..
- Bill (4/5): we stayed because of the A/C and location only! - location. good fridge, stove and air conditioning bathroom was so tiny the sink was in the shower. no place to sit and relax except the bed
poor condition of apt, needs repairs done
- Vanja (4/5): Disappointing - The location is great. Vatican is realy close and the building itself is very nice and neighborhood feels safe. The metro line A is just there but we did not even use it. We went everywhere by foot. The apartment itself is cute and just a little bit could change so much but if the owner realy wanted it could be awesome but it just seems that he doesnt care. the sheets and towels felt dirty..they seemed clean but they had some smell to them that just gave us the dirty vibe so we brought them to the laundry store nearby and washed them…the toilet is so small but you could manage that if it was clean but we had to clean wc also ourselves…there is also a problem with the ac cause you have to empty the water yourself which is not the problem in itself but the bucket is so small that you can not keep the ac on all night if you dont want to go up and empty the bucket and that is so easy to fix with just adding a bigger bucket that it is the clear sign of how much the owner doesnt care 🤷🏽♀️
