• Sarah (9/5): We had a great time - thank you! - Maurizio met us at the flat and was an excellent host. This was our first visit to Rome, and he gave us lots of tips on places to see and eat. The flat was ideally located, and everything was within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

• Carola (8/5): Mysigt o centralt mitt bland puls och mysiga ställen. - Centralt läge. Enkelt men rent o fräscht o funktionellt kök. Allt man behöver finns. Balkongen dock inte till för att sitta på. Trappor o flera dörrar upp. Inga problem för oss, men värt att notera. Smidig incheckning. Vi stördes inte av nattlivet även om det var precis utanför.

• Alison (7/5): Great location and the apartment is ideal as a place to get your head down for a good nights sleep - Great location for sightseeing and eating out. Clean and tidy. Lovely and quiet even with busy trastevere night life. Great communication from Flavio on check in/out The room is quite dark so it is difficult to sit and relax in the room when on a break from sight seeing. The only natural light comes from the balcony which faces a very tight courtyard so no direct sunlight comes in.

• Mario (5/5): It was worth the location, but I will not recommended it based on rental cost. - Only Location! Old rehabilitated apartment into small rental units. Unit did not meet expectations. Unit was not very well cleaned. Uncomfortable bed and terrible view from apartment into other housing units. Pictures presented were misleading. However, location was awesome.
• Matt (10/5): - Perfect location, right in the heart of Trastevere. Surrounded by beautiful cobbled streets with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Walking distance (approx 30/40mins) to all the main attractions including Colosseum and Vatican.
• Beihmane (10/5): Great place- clean and cosy, great location! - Clean, comfortable, extra pillows, great location, friendly staff. Cofee, tea and all small necessary things in kitchen. Also a cake that saved our hungry stomacks after trip. Neighbour banging doors very loudly at 6am. :D

• Lisa (9/5): Nice quiet apartment in a great location! - Well appointed, clean, bathtub, kitchen, comfortable couch, nicely decorated, historic character, balcony, good air conditioning, decent TV, Super Super quiet, very nice hosts! Great location in Trastevere near all the popular restaurants, shops, bars, bakeries and gelato. 4 min. walk to taxi or bus. Didn’t use the metro. Just grabbed taxi’s. Fav restaurant was Pico’s Mexican! Best Queso Birria Tacos I’ve ever had. Sometimes you want something other than Italian food. I recommend Pico’s in Trastevere. 4 min walk from the apartment. We also found an excellent Indian restaurant in Trastevere. After a month in Italy we wanted some alternatives to pizza and pasta. But whatever you want, this apartment is close to it all and in the heart of it. The stairs were a little difficult for us as we are older. So just be aware there are just a few (around 15) steps in case that’s difficult for you. Also, the stairs and hallway are filthy. I don’t say that lightly. I know people live in the building, but if I had a vacation rental I’d scrub those steps leading up to the flat once in a while. The apartment itself was super clean, but the hallway and steps were a turnoff. As for the bed, it wasn’t the worst mattress we had while in Italy, but it’s definitely too hard and past its prime and needs replacing. After the 3rd night my back was really hurting. Also, be aware that the taxi’s won’t take you to the apartment. You have to drag your suitcase over a rough cobblestone street for around a 5 min walk, so don’t bring a huge heavy case. All things I wish others had posted.

Her şey harikaydı, tavsiye ederim!!! - Ev sahipleri oldukça ilgiliydi, herhangi bir sorun durumunda bizlere kısa sürede dönüş sağladılar. Ev yeni mobilyalar ve eşyalarla döşenmişti ayrıca oldukça temizdi. Klima oldukça güçlü ve harika serinletiyor. Lavabodaki suyun basıncı yeterli ayrıca sıcak su sorunsuz şekilde çalışıyor. Evin merkezi bir konumda olması şehri keşfetmeyi kolaylaştırdı. Evin bulunduğu muhit oldukça işlek ve canlı olduğundan dışarıda geç saatlerde bile kendinizi güvende hissediyorsunuz. Ev göründüğünden çok daha küçük fakat iki kişinin kalması için yeterli. Ev bulunduğu konum dolayısıyla oldukça karanlık fakat aydınlatmalar evi tamamen aydınlatıyor. Çamaşır makinesi eski ve bazı bölümleri paslanmış durumda. Makineyi kullandığımda kıyafetlerimin hijyeni ile ilgili herhangi bir sorun yaşamadım ama yine de çamaşır makinesinin yenilenmesini tavsiye ederim.

The bed was comfortable, the aircon worked beautifully, and though the shower looks a little on the tired side, the water pressure was great. All was great for us. I would say that the shower was small and someone larger might struggle to move in there.

It needs to be refreshed. The bed is really bad, for example. There’s a balcony but nothing to sit on. It’s clear the photos are from when it was fresh.

Nothing was bad, but there is some room for improvement in the area of pillow and mattress comfort, and could use a toilet seat that fits better.
