• Suzanne (4/5): - The stairs were very steep and narrow the outside courtyard wasnot what was described on website we were looking on to a bin storage the bathroom although had all the facilities was very cramped and the noise from neighbours partying singing slaming doors was a nightmare which led to us leaving on the saturday morning and booking a hotel The pictures on the booking system did not match up with the apartment pictures

• Robert (8/5): Family holiday in Firenze. - Proximity to sights. Quiet neighbourhood. Close to supermarkets and restaurants. The steepness of the steps to the apartment.
• samantha (8/5): Good place to stay with a family. - Great location, walking distance to river and Uffizi etc. Spacious especially the main bedroom. Host was responsive and offered help with information. Property is a little tired in places, sofa not very comfortable and would benefit from fresh soaps, air fresheners etc.
• Emily (10/5): Great family stay in Florence - very helpful hosts - Apartment had everything we needed. Ellen and her team were so helpful - our train was delayed so they couldn't meet us, but sent videos and clear instructions for us, along with many tips for the area. Highly responsive to our questions. The apartment was perfect for our family and excellent location - everything was withing 15min walk and train station was very close and convenient. The AC was very welcome in the heatwave. We would return in a heartbeat. there is relatively steep staircase to the apartment - not an issue for us, but to be aware if you have mobility issues or lots of luggage to haul.

• Adrian (7/5): Good - Great host, very accommodating in terms of check-in time. Also gave us some tips for our visit in Florence. The apartment is a good size, plenty of space for us 4. Very clean. The beds were quite uncomfortable and there's a pub just downstairs so lots of noise until late at night even in weekdays. Not a big deal but it can be annoying for light sleepers.

• Jose (10/5): Apartment has everything you need, and its location is perfect. - Close to shops, train station, cafes, trattorias etc… stairs to second floor
• Janice (7/5): Good - Good location. Everything needed for a short stay for two people. Clean and comfortable. Confusion over getting into the apartment as wrong key code was given and then there was a wait for someone to come and open . One point to note is that the small bedroom is over a bar area outside so was very noisy into the early hours.
• Tanya (10/5): Brilliant! - Everything was great! Location, perfect! Might have been nice to have a small fan or be able to adjust aircon but it certainly didn’t impact our stay.
• Kym (7/5): Great location - We like the location. The master bedroom bed was comfortable. The pillows were good. There were minor issues, but I still would stay here. The sofa and chairs were uncomfortable. After a day of walking around, a comfy chair or sofa would be great. We knew about the stairs but they were quite steep. With bags, they were hard to navigate. I didn't like the fact we paid a cleaning fee and we were told to remove our own garbage. What's up with that? There was a sign that said if you used up the supplies that were provided that you had to replace them. The place could use a deep cleaning. There were two room freshners in the bathroom that were old and used up. There were items in the cupboard, vinegar, and Tabasco sauce that were past the best before date. There was sand or fine grit on the floor that I swept up. We used the mosquito plug-ins, but I still woke up every morning with a bite. We didn't open the windows at all, so I'm not sure where they were coming from.
• Shamini (10/5): Stay here! - The apartment is wonderfully located just minutes from the main and not-so-main sights of Florence, and super close to Arno River. Shopping is easy, and cafes are down the street and around the corner. Elly and Miki explained everything very well. The place is great, and very clean. They made wonderful recommendations for sights and restaurants which we took them up on and thoroughly enjoyed. Hauling suitcases up and down two flights of stairs was something to mentally prepare for, for two women in our 40s! 😆
• Alyson (8/5): Fabulous little place from which to explore the city of Florence! - The location is exceptional. We were never more than 10-15 minutes walk from all the main visitor attractions in this wonderful city. With a tram stop 5 mins walk away getting to the apartment from the airport was super easy. Bedrooms very comfortable and the apartment had everything we needed. I would recommend it to other travellers. No grumbles at all. You need to take a bit of care on the stone staircase if you are a bit older or have little kids but that's about it.
• Beth (9/5): Ellen’s place is excellent!! - I loved the communicate with the staff and owner. Ellen and her team were very helpful with directions to the apartment and tips while in Florence. The place was clean, large enough for the 4 of us. We took advantage of the wash machine. We would stay here again.

Very easy to get to Duomo and across the river to Oltrarno. The host was wonderful and allowed us early check in. You must try the restaurant next door - Ostaria dei Centopoveri. It was the best meal from our entire trip.

• Lee (8/5): Good value - The location was excellent for exploring Florence and getting to the train station. The appartment had air con and a dishwasher. It was clean and reasonably comfortable. It was excellent value for money. Some additional comfortable seating in the lounge would be really good for 4 adults but the offering is true to the advertised photos. The bathroom did have a smell from the drains that was quite unpleasant.
• Kristin (10/5): Delightful 4 nights in Florence, Italy - Location was perfect for us. We walked with our luggage from the train station. Rooms had plenty of space for clothes, bathroom was clean, apartment was very secure. Luckily for me, I was with my daughter and husband who are stronger than me and they carried our luggage up the stairs. Also, it was very crowded in the most popular parts of the city.
