• Deanna (8/5): Perfect apartment to tour Venice - It is in the Main Centre and a close walk to everything such as the Rialto Bridge and San Marco. It's in a really convenient place with restaurants right on your doorstep. When you enter the property though it is very peaceful and serene. We had a ground floor apartment which was nice and clean, bed was very comfy to sleep in and good facilities. The only thing for us in our room was the shower. It was next to the toilet and you had to use a broomstick to mop the floor and dry the toilet. It wasn't the best for us but we made do.

• Estelle Nazzari (9/5): Fabuleux - Très bon échange avant notre visite avec notre hôte Frédérica, directive en amont et aide pour trouver le logement depuis la gare et point de rdv pour nous accompagner au logement. Chek in avec elle a l'appartement Et indication de supérette et de visite. Le logement est très bien situé proche du centre mais très calme la nuit ! C'est propre, fonctionnel, très bien équipé, très bon matelas ! Jolie petite cour.

• Sheila (6/5): Great location but didn’t feel welcomed by owner - Location was excellent and the apartment was clean and comfortable. It had a lovely big private courtyard. The host was not welcoming and appeared like we were an inconvenience. There are quite alot of steps so would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues or the elderly. The building that overlooked our court yard had window shutters above that are in poor condition and one fell off and nearly hit us whilst we were sat there. This is not the owners fault but I would suggest she contact the owner of the other property as it affects her building and guests.

• Mélissa (4/5): Emplacement au top, hôte sympathique, arrangeante et réactive. Logement peu fonctionnel et peu lumineux - L’emplacement est le point fort de ce logement. Nous avons rencontré des soucis avec la douche qui a fui et aussi l’évier du coin cuisine. Au niveau de la literie le matelas est confortable mais il manque de couvertures. De plus, l’accès à la salle de bain n’est pas pratique.

• Carlos (9/5): Close to all the heavy hitter attractions - Very cozy place, super sweet and helpful host. Does have a washer and dryer rack. Close to all the action yet not in the middle of it. If you try to take naps during the day, there is a bell tower nearby that goes off every 30mins. It’s not too loud but definitely noticeable.

• Adina (5/5): - We stayed in the ground-floor room (No. 1). The main advantages are that it is quiet and well located, just a few minutes from the city center. However, the accommodation did not meet our expectations. The room was quite cold, and the heating was insufficient. The air conditioning helped, but it did not work continuously. There was no proper duvet, only a very thin blanket, and the pillows were worn out. The kitchenette is very basic, with only a small sink and some dishes that were not properly cleaned. The bathroom is extremely small and not very practical, as the shower is right next to the toilet, causing the entire space to get wet. Some elements, like a loose tile on the steps and the slippery floor, did not feel very safe. Cleanliness overall could be improved, as we noticed issues such as mold on the shower curtain, a rusty radiator, stained walls, and worn carpets. The TV was also not working. Additionally, we were asked to take out the trash upon departure, but no clear instructions or designated area were provided. Overall, considering the price, we expected better conditions. Unfortunately, we would not recommend this accommodation.

Pas du tout pratique.

Wszystkie instrukcje dobrze opisane. Łatwy dostęp do apartamentu. Apartament bardzo ciepły i wygodny, dobry internet, dobre wyposażenie kuchni ( aczkolwiek dołożył bym mikrofalówke-ale nie koniecznie). Jedyna rzecz jaką mozna było było poprawić to kran w łazience i uchwyt prysznicowy.

• Carla (4/5): Basic - Location. By mistake l booked the room only as we had budgeted across three other cities. For what we paid in other cities the quality of this room was poor. Room needs maintenance properly. We had ants and we are well travelled and are very aware not to leave food out. We were advised that they were trying to arrange someone to change sheets didn’t happen, as well as for us to buy the ant spray! The room smelt damp and l contacted to ask about moving no mention of this smell after the ants! I had to ask for an iron which took time out of our day as it was advertised with iron. Iron board in corridor and was full of spiderwebs had to use a towel on the table. The shower is directly beside toilet on a steel floor never seen anything like this, water was then dripping out of toilet unit wall. Also, taking our rubbish out to the square, due to time leaving for airport it was too early to do this! I’m on holiday l really shouldn’t need to! Hairdryer that is advertised isn’t an actual hairdryer it was off a hot brush and was absolutely a waste of time. Given the steel floor and water l wouldn’t use it in the bathroom!! Outside garden photos do not reflect real time! We wouldn’t return.

You felt safe and secure with private courtyard The bed was very hard and pillows inadequate. The bathroom stunk of urine perhaps coming up from sewerage pipes? It was very off putting and made the stay unpleasant. The shower made the bathroom fill with water and you showered standing next to toilet that stunk.

• et Bianca (10/5): - Logement comme nous le souhaitions, c'est -à-dire calme, propre, bien situé pour se rendre sur les sites à visiter. La personne qui nous a accueillis a pris le temps de nous expliquer comment nous rendre aux points de rencontre avec les guides pour les visites et le reste. Le calme et la tranquillité étaient très importants car pendant 5 jours nous étions matins et après-midis à visiter Venise et les îles. Pas vraiment de reproches, simplement nous avons eu une difficulté pour trouver le logement en arrivant. Il faudrait je pense préciser comment, depuis l'arrêt San Angelo, accéder au logement car nous avons eu du mal à trouver l'endroit bien qu'étant à moins de 5 minutes de l'endroit ! Autrement, mais çà ne nous a pas du tout gêné, il faudrait signaler qu'il y a un petit peu de petites fourmis donc mettre un produit pour les faire disparaître. Encore une fois, le logement était très propre.

• Jordan (10/5): 10/10 - Federica was an absolutely wonderful host—warm, accommodating, and flexible with our arrival time, which we greatly appreciated. We loved our cozy little space, staying in the downstairs unit. While the shower-over-toilet setup might not suit everyone, it worked perfectly fine for us. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the location couldn't have been better. A solid 10/10 experience all around! Nothing - it was delightful!

• Amy (8/5): Cosy Stay Near the Heart of Venice - We had a pleasant stay at Ca' del Cortile. The apartment was clean, cosy, and perfectly suited for our time in Venice. Its location was great — just a short walk from Piazza San Marco and the city center, which made exploring very convenient. The only downside was the bathroom setup. It was tucked into a very small corner of the apartment, and the shower was positioned directly over the toilet, which made it a bit uncomfortable and cramped to use. That said, overall the apartment worked well for our needs and made for an enjoyable stay in Venice. Showering facilities that were a bit uncomfortable but manageable.

The shower was so small that you had to shower over the toilet and the water didn't drain so when you went to the toilet after your shower you stepped in water. The host told us not to use the blow dryer. Not sure why. It was really a terrible stay. Old pillows and old mattress. I'm surprised this place would pass the booking.com inspection.

• Whytedxl (4/5): Lovely stay in Venice, but very basic accommodation. - It’s in a great location, but could do with some maintenance. The bed is creaky & has an ill fitting, harsh plastic sheet that really isn’t comfortable. The electric sockets need checking as not all of them work properly. The bathroom is quite smelly, which could just be from the shower curtain hung next to the toilet. It wouldn’t cost a great deal, or take much effort to spruce up and make more comfortable.

The entire bathroom gets wet when you shower. The toilet didn’t flush. My husband was able to make it so that we could flush it manually. Not ideal, but ok for 1 night.
• Michael (7/5): Great location to visit Venezia and its monuments. - The great location. We were 5 minutes walk from Rialto, 10 from St Marco and 20 from F. Nove boat stop to get to Murano and Lido. It is quite noisy since the flat is close to the kitchens of a restaurant of San Angelo Plaza. They can wash the dishes until late in the evening. But, it is OK if you go to visit and not stay all the time in the flat.

• Sachin (2/5): Avoid at all cost - Property is very difficult to locate, even with Google Maps. We were roaming around for quite a while to know that the location provided on the booking was incorrect. The owner was not at all cooperative. She charged us an extra 50 Euros just for someone to help us locate the property and check in. The apartment smelled so bad that spending time in it was difficult.
• Maria (5/5): The apartment needs to be upgraded for comfort. - Location and quiet Owner did not give us the street name. Our first night we got lost and no one could help us because of we had no street name, just the name of the neighbourhood. The number of the building was faded away. We each had one bath towel and one face towel for a stay of 4 nights. Toilet paper, one roll and a half. No toiletries except for hand and shower washes. Tap of the sink was too short for even properly washing your teeth or face. Kitchen was not well equipped. Pots were old and used. No paper or cloth wiping towels. There were three tiny garbage pails. We had to buy our own bags. And we were casually told to bring out our garbage to a garbage somewhere in the city. No idea where it was.
• Frits (6/5): Quite expensive for . Hotels maybe cheaper with a breakfast and a change of toweks. We did not see anybody after the arr - The situation Bathroom impossible to take a shower. No possible to cook . No towel to dry the cups. Only 2 cups for the coffee for 3 nights and 2 persons.

• Shawn (5/5): OK, but bring earplugs. - The host was accomodating and responsive, despite our being "off the grid" during travel. We were able to meet up and get the keys without difficulty. The air conditioner sounded like a rattling Model T Ford - we didn't sleep for two nights. Sleeping with windows open on the ground floor in a strange city was not a good option - but neither was running that AC. We kept it going during the day with the hopes the room would be cool enough by nightfall to do without, but got admonished by the host for leaving it running while we were gone. As I suppose is common for all ground floor flats in Venice, the bathroom was elevated, up a set of concrete steps. I understand the need, but this was not clear when we reserved the room, and could have been a problem if our knees were acting up. We felt ok and made do, but that is a cautionary note for people with disabilities.

• Yess (3/5): bad - location. that’s it. - the aircon sounds like a tractor in the room and it seems like we are not the only one that’s been complaining about, if you read through the comments and reviews you’ll see that almost everyone complained about it and this is just not good enough. the owner just ignore the issue. i reached out and they said the weather is changing and you don’t need to use the aircon. first of all, i didn’t pay for a room with aircon and not be able to use it. - the room is not what we expected, the toilet is so small and shower is literally on top of the toilet, just makes it so wet and unhygienic. and it floods when we shower, the drain takes a few mins to clear the water and you can imagine how disgusting that can be standing in a puddle of your shower water + toilet. - we stayed for 4d3n and they only provided 1 toilet rolls (2 adults), i requested for extras and they bought them over the next day. i feel like this is basic stuff that should at least be prepared to begin with. - there’s no toiletries at all, no soaps, nothing. only 1 toilet roll. - check in procedure is quite annoying as we need to set a time to meet with the lady. train delays etc can make it really tricky and exhausting. - also, the room is quite dark. insufficient lighting

• Paul (6/5): Pleasant - The location was good. The air conditioning was very good. The sheets were comfy and the bed was comfy. It was pretty spacious. There was a washer available for use. The lack of hot water for showers really affected our happiness. Three out of four showers were cold. You have to take your garbage to a garbage boat - I understand it but locating it was an issue. The owner was sick so understandably couldn’t meet us to take us to the property but it was hard to find while pulling luggage.

• Kamarie (7/5): Simplistic and Convenient. - We met Chiara to collect the keys, she was very kind and helped us settle in. Later in our trip we met the host Federica*, she was so considerate to ask if we were having a great stay and if we needed anything. I loved the location of the property. The property felt secure and private while being in the middle of the bustling neighborhood. Very accessible and convenient to walk to any location. It felt as if we were one of the locals. Cleanliness was lacking. The white bedsheets were stained, as well as the matress cover under it. The mattress was thin and firm. They had throw pillows on the bed; it was meant for one side to be white and the other green but you could see the yellowing on the pillow from sweat stains as if it hadn't been washed in ages. I did notice mildew in the shower.

• Raahi (8/5): Lovely location. Inconvenient living space. - It was in a great and convenient location. Very central of Venice! The shower was not separated from the rest of the bathroom. Literally right on top of the toilet. Because there was nothing to keep the water from staying in one section, the water from the shower filled the whole bathroom. The air conditioner sounded like a jet engine and when I asked the person in charge of it can be fixed, the message was ignored until I had to tell her that we were very disappointed with the customer care.

• Hannah (9/5): Stay here! - Perfect studio for a couple. Clean and amazing location for first time visitors to Venice! Aircon was great to relax in after hot days exploring. Shower is a tight squeeze, but no problems for us. There was no toilet paper but supermarket was so close it was no issue.
• Teri (3/5): Poor - The location was great. and the size of the place was good You know this could be a darling place if they upgraded the furnishings. The furniture looked like it came from a second hand ugly store. Perhaps update the color scheme as well. Because it has a great little terrace, but all the plants were dead. and by all I mean 3 little planters. It really could be a nice place if they just put a little money into it. But I'm afraid they just do the bare minimum. plus the photos dont look anything like the place.
• Sophie (10/5): It was just the best and felt so welcome to Venice - The location was AMAZING!! The apartment was perfect and cosy. We loved staying here, Frederica was so helpful and lovely. I recommend this to everyone!! Everything was perfect!!
• Elise (10/5): Exceptional - Nice location, friendly staff. Nice patio to sit and have a drink. Preventing the mosquitos getting in a lot of screens, so thats nice. Kitchen quiet well equiped to make you own breakfast.

• Lale (8/5): it was good :) - Federica an Chiara was very kind and they really helped so much. Location is perfect in the heart of the city near Canal Grande. Because of the city structure all of the buildings are historical an old buildings. That's why there was a smell in the room. But this old smell is everywhere in Venice :) And air conditioner needs repair. It worked awfull :(
