Guest Reviews
- Sonia (8/5): Recomendable.
- Liam (8/5): Great place- clean, good bathroom, spacious, and in a great location -
- Roy (10/5): The property is completely delightful. - We have stayed here twice before, so that shows how much we like the property and location. So close to all the great sites of Rome. The property has everything, including being very quiet considering it is so central. We sleep like babies! Honestly, I love it all.
- Suplicz Tamás (8/5): Értéklés a szállásról.
- BIJU (8/5): - Location Everything was very good
- Ella (9/5): -
- Tomasz (9/5): - Święta lokalizacja, wszędzie blisko. Dobry kontakt i łatwe zameldowanie.
- Ana (1/5): Terrible stay - wifi down, no signal and no communication from host - Wifi was down soon after I arrived and for the whole length of the stay. Promptly notified the host via whatsapp, who seemed to not care and I had to suggest what might be done about it. When I followed up on, they simply left my message on 'read'. Since the place has no phone signal, this meant that to communicate with anyone, make plans or access the internet in general, I had to go outside. They offered no help or compensation whatsoever. When I sent a message via this website separately, they just said that they "appreciated my patience".
Worse than the lack of a basic amenity was the blatant disrespect from the host. I would not recommend this place to anyone on that basis.
- Marta (8/5): A fantastic place to bring breakfast straight from Campo di Fiori in the morning. - vintage style, the atmosphere of an old workshop
- Mikkini (7/5): Good location and enough facilities with minor issues. - Room is large enough for family with two kids and it was basically clean. There is kitchen with microwave and refrigerator, which are convenient.
Location is very good. A few minutes on foot from bus stop, and there is good cafe in neighborhood. Room smelled bit moldy. There was no instruction how to adjust heater. Water was leaking from somewhere in the kitchen. There was no description how to check-out. Probably owner sent message about it with how to check-in before check-in but the message was deleted on the last day somehow.
- Marcos (9/5): Localização privilegiada - Localização , tudo muito bom , conforme as fotos Nada
- BeyShan (8/5): Good location, nice restaurants in that area - Location, it’s amazing, highly recommended
Space is really good as well The small bed on the grand floor is too soft, but upstairs the double bed was lovely
- Aneta (10/5): -
- Carolina Giselle (8/5): Buena. - Muy cómodo, buena ubicación. En la cocina había olor feo.
- Ilya (10/5): -
- Gaia (9/5): Great location, great aircon, great vibes. - The location was incredible - a 12-minute walk to the Pantheon and a 30-minute walk to the Colosseum. There was an abundance of restaurants and supermarkets within a 2-minute walking range, as well as multiple bus stops nearby. The aircon was amazing, and the location meant the apartment was very quiet too. All in all, it was the perfect place to come back to after a full day of sightseeing. The kitchen was a little small; you can comfortably get 2 people in, but any more is a tight squeeze, because it's so narrow it's also difficult to get past people. The bins were weirdly labelled, there's no food bin and no bin for paper recycling; however, these issues are mostly us being nitpicky.
- Ekaterina (10/5): - Loved it!
- Boriana (9/5): -
- Radzikowska (9/5): Superb -
- Tommy (9/5): Wonderful location in City Center. - I love the location, close to everything. quiet place, good air-conditioning. although we have problem with the heater initially, they responded quickly to fix it, I love at least they have basic like coffee and sugar. some supplies are lacking like soap and shampoo, not enough toilet paper and no paper towel. we paid good money, but we still need to hunt where to throw the trash, I think this should be taken care by the Host.
- Frank (8/5): Great spot. Communication is the key to life - Location and size Could not get to it. There was a bike race. We were not told about. Streets were closed and they should have let us know
- Roy (10/5): An old school apartment, in which everything works, its quiet, fun, cool and just lovely. - The photos online don't do the property enough justice. The front room is a decent size and the fold out bed downstairs is a double, along with another single bed in the corner. There was still room for the dinning table, plus 4 nice chairs. The kitchen is well equipped and although small, it really delivers. The fridge is big and works superbly. There is a separate small freezer with loads of room. 2 hobs, microwave, toaster, kettle and all the pots, pans, etc. Upstairs also has a large double bed, very comfortable. Plenty of room, storage and tables. The bathroom is a good size too, everything works. The aircon is both VERY quiet and very effective. Plus another spinning ceiling fan downstairs to keep the air moving. We have been to Rome 7 times and this apartment is by far our favourite. The location is amazing, 5 short minutes walk Piazza Navona. The pace is super quiet all round. When you enter the front door to the court yard inside, it is 20 meters to the apartment front door. So, you are shielded from the outside noise, such as it is. Honestly, we slept so soundly every night. We adored this apartment and have already resolved to return soon, perhaps even next May! It really was that good. The place is super and charming. We loved everything. Sorry, no complaints. The stairs were creaky due to the wood and age, is that a downside? We didn't think so and when the stairs creaked we found it funny.
- Le (8/5): Very good - 2 stories, very good for family.
- Melissa (8/5): Very good - The location is phenomenal, and communicating with staff was very easy. We were able to walk to the Vatican and to the Forum very easily. Comfortable for the two parents in the loft and our ten year old downstairs. The stairs are so creaky, but I have no clue how that could be fixed. There was a daytime amateur karaoke enthusiast neighbor, but he wound down well before bed time.
- Audra (8/5): Quaint Rome apartment in good location. - Everything was great and just as described. Very clear and easy instructions for check in. Great location we walked everywhere except to train station. Overall great stay.
- Vicky (8/5): Very good -
- Tegan (8/5): Very good -
- Bianca (6/5): Great location, very misrepresented - Location First thing isn't their fault, but they didn't seem concerned in the least about fixing it: don't use Google maps! It routes to an address a couple hundred meters away for some reason (affected our public transit route, etc). There are NOT 2 living rooms. There is a chair inside the front door that they've called a living room. There is a kitchen with no coffee, sugar, oil, but 5lbs of salt. This place is a cozy studio with loft. The only doors are the front door and the bathroom door, so only stay here with a group or family if you want 0 privacy. And the garbage, which they require you to take out, but do not provide bags for, is 300m away across a busy 4-lane street. Great location that was intentionally wildly misrepresented in our opinion.
- Leonardo (9/5): Superb -
- Irati (8/5): Very good -
- Kemlin (9/5): Superb -
- Phillips (10/5): Great apartment with old Rome feel. - The apartment was conveniently located near public transportation but tucked away in a quite neighborhood where many resturants and shops were located. Wonderful apartment which was old but new. There was basic kitchen equipment refrigerator and freezer microwave coffee pot etc. The courtyard was behind a locked door to the courtyard and the door to the apartment had a locking door. We felt very safe. We would definitely book again. We needed the stairway light fixed and management responded immediately. There was a large outdoor market very that we visited twice. Loved the place. No negatives
- Alexander (8/5): Very good -
- Pieter (7/5): Good -
- Claudia (8/5): Very good -
- Krinidon2555 (10/5): We will gladly stay there again, the house was in a strategic area close to everything - Communication
- Carin (9/5): Quiet place within walking distance to everything in Rome - Great location; within walking distance to everything in the city; quiet; on a lovely street. Terrific restaurant right outside (Osteria dei Cappellari - make reservations!) Main bedroom was extremely comfy. Had everything we needed for a great stay in Rome. We would absolutely stay again. Host was flexible when our plane was delayed by over two hours and we arrived much later than expected. Downstairs beds for my daughters were ok, but not great. We didn't receive instructions for check in until we asked, right before departure. The lockbox wasn't working, so we had to meet up with the host to get in. Would have been great to have the lockbox and self check in working since we had no cell service in Italy. But all worked out and we were able to connect w/ airport wifi upon arrival.
- Hannelie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Constance (6/5): Pleasant - Location was the best feature. The floor could have been swept. The mold could have been removed from the shower. More toilet paper could have been left for a 12 night stay. The internet went out after 10 days. I did a soft reset and a hard reset and it would not function.
- Eva (8/5): Very good - The property is spacious and the location is excellent for exploring Rome. It is central without noise because it’s set back off the street. It has everything you need As previous reviews state, it is dark and there are no windows that you can see out of. A bit of a shame but we just used it as a base.
- Randolph (10/5): Exceptional - The location was great. The communication with the host was also great. The apartment was clean and comfortable.
- Katarzyna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maggie (10/5): Fantastic! Very comfortable and the whole process of staying was made so easy. - Very spacious and great location!
The bed was very comfortable and the space was full of character and very clean. Instructions on how to turn off the heaters.
- Roberta (9/5): Clean and big apartment in the cetre of Rom - Great location, very clean and good equipped apartment. On the corner the best coffee we drank in Rom, in the same street there is a quite new luggage storage, where we left our luggage after we had to check out and had the day still till our flight. We went everywhere on foot, we bought not a single ticket for public transport.
It was a great holiday, check-in also went smoothly.
And on the way to Piazza Navona, I have to mention the best ice-cream ever (LaRomana)!;) A toilet downstairs would be great, but of course we knew that there is no. The stairs are very noisy.
- Nikoyan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jamie (10/5): Perfect location, cosy, private. - You can't really stay in a much better location. It is walking distance to everything (although I got an Uber to the Vatican Museums, Colosseum and Piazza Del Popolo, but made my way back on foot via other sites). The property is rustic so do not expect a modern, pristine condition building - don't get me wrong, the property was immaculate. It had all the facilities you need. It felt really safe as the entrance is from a courtyard with another locked door out to the street. Although a little noisy during the day from other apartments, by night time it was perfectly quiet. The bed is huge and comfortable. The property itself is very spacious.
- Tristan (10/5): Top level, great value for money. - Great location, beautiful space. Good facilities and wifi. Little natural daylight in the apartment, but this was not important.
- Luke (10/5): Exceptional - Great place, perfect location.
- Argyro (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hanna (10/5): Exceptional - This is my favorite place to stay in Rome. Very atmospheric old house, perfectly located in walking distance to all the main attractions. There are many cafes and shops around, as well as bus stops. It is mostly quiet at night, there is everything for a comfortable stay for several days. I hope to be back again one day! The bed is a little wobbly. The apartment is two floors, so the stairs can make difficulties for those who find it hard to climb up and down them to access the toilet and bathroom. However, neither this nor the fact that the apartment was a little dark made any inconvenience for me.
- Martin (8/5): Effortless stay, exactly as expected and good value for Rome - Nice and spacious for 2 people, very quiet most of the time, walking distance to most attractions in Rome, (Vatican, Pantheon, Roman forum etc) and the Aircon was a massive bonus. There's a mini-supermarket nearby (pam) which was very useful along with lots of dining options within 5-10m walk. There's not much natural light in the apartment and the stairs are very creaky.
- Lynn (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ekaterina (8/5): Very good - Great location, cute place, beautiful bathroom. Comfortable for two, possibly three if you don't mind going upstairs to the bathroom in the middle of the night and squicky stairs and no privacy. The arranged check-in was at 3:00. We showed up at 3:20 to a messy, stinky apartment that was still being cleaned. We had to wait for almost an hour, which was disturbing. There were also a couple of broken things that we called about and they told us they would come and fix the next day. They never did in the three nights we were there.
- Tracey (8/5): Very good -
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vivian (9/5): Superb - The location of the apartment is absolutely perfect! It was a little bit inconvenient, that the bathroom is upstairs!
- Dimitra (10/5): All the family was very satisfied with the apartment. - The location was excellent.
In the centre of the town, very nice area, very close to many attractions and fortunately not as crowded as other parts of the town.
- Irsat (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elena (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ioana (9/5): excellent location - excellent location, close to all the sights in Rome. very good restaurants and coffee at a distance of a few minutes. We used the train/bus only for the transfer to the airport the sofa is not comfortable at all. it is very used and old and you cannot sleep on it. I used an extendable bed that I found in the apartment
- Boris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wen (10/5): Wonderful - Great location, walking distance to major attractions and good restaurants. Clean, comfortable bed. Super friendly and responsive host. Highly recommend the place!
- Hadeel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Renev. (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely apartment in perfect location.
- Pal (9/5): Good location and quiet - Perfect location, walking distance to the main sights, with good restaurants in the area. comfortable place with good bed. recommend it for family of four. Very quiet as it is in the back of the building.
