• Janice (10/5): Comfortable, clean, centrally located, and well-appointed. - The location was stellar. Just steps away from many places on our list to visit in Florence, since it's such a walkable and compact city. It was cool to be in such an historic building. The owner is very kind and helpful and responds quickly to any questions.
• Min (10/5): - The location is perfect. Iy is close to every attractive points. The building is historic and the host tell us the story of the flat and give us lots of information about nearby restaurant, gelato, supermarket. Everyday she checks us if ok. none

• Eozol (8/5): Great Location in a Historic Building But Steps to Climb - The apartment was in a historic building and Paola was very kind to share the history of the apartment and building. The location was very near major attractions and numerous restaurants The apartment is on the fourth floor and there is a steep stairway to negotiate. Carrying up the luggage was quite a workout. The bedroom facing the street was a bit noisy at night while the back bedroom would get cooking odors from the restaurant below when the window was open. Also, the apartment had limited coffee cups although there were enough small expresso cups.
• Mariellen (7/5): Nice stay but everyone needs to follow rules not to allow visitors during quiet hours - Great location and very nice host Seems everyone in this building is renting out apartments and noise above in the evening was a little disturbing.

• Peter (10/5): Perfect stay great host - The apartment was amazing so central to everything, Paola was the perfect host greeted us on arrival and told us about the history of the apartment and had a map of where to go while in Florence. Enjoyed our stay. There are a lot of stairs and no lift , so may not suit anyone with mobility issues.

• Michael (10/5): Fantastic host Paola, great location and very comfortable, highly recommended. - The host Paola was wonderful, very welcoming and gave us some history about the building and the area, couldnt have asked for a nicer host. Brilliant location. The stairs up to the apartment after a busy day sightseeing but you get used to it!
• Claire (10/5): A brilliant base for exploring Flore - Superb location in the historic centre of Florence. Easy to reach all main attractions. Very clean and comfortable. Host, Paola, was on hand to meet us and was so helpful. Being in an old building, and the apartment on the third floor, there was no lift so carrying cases took some effort. However, we were made aware of this before booking so it was ok.
• Olga (10/5): Exceptional - Owner Paola met us at the door and gave a great tour of her place, which was her own home.Was a great to feel part of the big Florence history! The apartment had everything you need for your stay! Location is in the heart of the city with very easy walk to everything The only negative comment is, to get to the apartment, you need to walk 5 flights of stairs , they are pretty steep. Just be aware before you book if you have a mobility issue.

Highly recommend! - The location of the apartment is unparalleled and has incredible historical significance, which you can learn about at check-in with, Paola. Paola is a wonderful host who thought of everything to make our stay exceptional. She is easy to communicate with and was waiting for our arrival to give us a tour and provide keys. While the apartment is a piece of incredible history, it has all of the modern amenities and comfort you could ask for including a well appointed kitchen, bathroom, and comfortable beds. If you are traveling to Florence, I highly recommend staying in this beautiful gem!

The apartment was nice, clean and comfortable, very well equipped with all you may need. The host was very kind and helpful and provided us with useful information about the city, its history, etc. We would stay again!

The host Paola made sure we had what we needed and gave us a info on local spots. Be prepared for stairs but Paola made sure we knew this in advance. Both bedrooms are fairly large and great for couples traveling together. The towels aren’t the best but kinda used to that traveling through out Italy.

• Mark (10/5): Charming spacious apartment in an unbeatable location. - Perfect location for Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria and Duomo. Plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars nearby. There are lot of stairs up to the apartment but the description makes that very clear. It is a 13th century building so be prepared. Wouldn’t put me off staying again.

The owner met us at the apartment, gave us the history of the home, gave us local recommendations and was so helpful. Cannot recommend this apartment highly enough. Not a dislike, but if you struggle with stairs, there are no lifts and four flights of stairs.

• Camilla (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing location and good communication with the host before and during the stay. The streets could be noisy during the nights, however that is hard to avoid when you stay in the middle of the city.
• Steven (9/5): A very well appointed apartment, nicely decorated, comfortable and very clean. Idea for a city stay - Location was excellent, right in the center of Florance. A 6-7 minute walk to the duomo. Paola met us at the apartment with the keys and her husband helped us with the luggage. Paola told us some of the history of the apartment which had been in her family for many generations which was interesting. Paola is a very helpful and friendly host with suggestions for restaurants and different places to visit Apartment is on the 3rd floor with no lift and being an old property the stairs are quite narrow. Made getting large luggage up the stairs a little difficult

• Ek (10/5): Incredible Location with a very welcoming host. - Location cannot be better, literally just a minute walk to the Uffizi. Paola is a very welcoming host. Both the two restaurants downstairs she recommended are superb. The walk up the stairs can be tough for some.
• Oscar (9/5): Great little apartment perfect for two couples. - Amazing location in historic centre. Paola was super lovely giving us a tour of the apartment when we arrived and telling us about the history of the building and area. She also had lots of recommendations and was helpful with various requests during our stay. The apartment is well appointed with small kitchen with laundry. The two bedrooms are comfortable with good air con; one of them has a great view out on to the street. There isn't a huge amount of lounge space but this didn't matter because we were hardly there. There is a decent sized dining table just off the kitchen. The bathroom was nice and clean. Nothing.

Both bedrooms are very large with wardrobes and excellent air conditioning. - I loved that this apartment was so well located. it was spotless and very spacious. The only thing I didn’t like was the stairs up to the apartment but it’s unavoidable in historical buildings.
