She also helped us with taxi booking at a time when it would have been difficult for us to do it. There is no elevator so at the end of a long day it something to consider but the benefits out way that issue
• Marina Gheta (10/5): Amazing apartment right in the city center with very kind host! - The property had everything one could possibly need for a comfortable stay. It's completely furnished, to the smallest details, so it's very convenient especially for a longer stay. The location is AMAZING, everything is within walking distance. It's honestly amazing to not have to worry about what transport to take to and from centre because you are right there. It's a street away. The views from the apartment are breath taking, you can see the Duomo and waking up to that view is great. I'll post some pictures with the view. We really liked the apartment. The host is very kind and gave us so much information and recommendations, and was available each time we had any questions. Marianna even let us keep some umbrellas after we checked out because it was raining and we didn't come prepared. If we're coming back to Florence, we're surely booking this place again, and I recommend getting it if you travel with a larger group because there's a lot of spots to hang out in the apartment together. Only two things but it didn't impact our stay in any way, it's just something to take notice of - the shower in the larger bathroom doesn't have a proper door and the floor is a bit higher but water sometimes can fall off - however it's very easy to clean up and it doesn't really wet the whole bathroom, just that spot directly in front of the shower. The other thing was that the room above is separated from the "downstairs" with a wooden floor so the rooms below hear people walking and it can be quite loud - but this didn't bother us necessarily, just something to consider if you're a light sleeper!

• Evelyn (10/5): A lovely stay in this beautiful apartment . - It was beautifully renovated and decorated and exceptionally clean. The location was great and very close to the Duomo, restaurants and shops. We could see the Duomo. from the bedroom window. Quite spectacular to wake up to the sight of the sun on the gold cross on the dome. Marianna was very helpful and easily contacted on WhatsApp. It was our first time staying in an apartment and Marianna made it very easy . Highly recommend this apartment when staying in Florence.

It is an old building, dating from the 19th century, so no stairs. Marianna, our host, was one of the most responsive I’ve ever had. She was wonderful in responding to any issues. Highly recommended. We were unfortunate and had some issues with the air conditioning, which Marianna fixed as fast as she could.

It was a large, light, clean, and comfortable space with multiple small terraces . Marianna, the host was so welcoming and warm. She actually carried our bags up 3 flights of stairs for us! Even though we were early to arrive, she made space for us at the apartment so that we could drop off our luggage and even made dinner reservations for us. She was gracious and highly organized. The property is well situated - close to the Duomo as well as markets, a bank, and multiple restaurants. Everything is within easy walking distance. If I return to Florence, I would want to stay here again. It was a great experience - I am completely happy with my stay.

Extra touches like additional WiFi routers throughout the apartment, soaps, shampoos, cleaning supplies. It is a Penthouse which is wonderful but no lift so you need to be ok with stairs. Not a problem for some but harder for others, and luggage… Read the cleaning policy carefully. I think people skip that, I know I did!
