• Dmytro (7/5): Everything was fine as for the old flat from the last century, especially location! - Great location - the most of the Rome attractions are in walking distance, a lot of good restourants nearby, small supermarkets as well. And the host was very responsive! There were no very simple sings which are expected usually in the appartment - washing things (soap, shampoo), lack of toilet paper, no salt/paper/sugar. We bought this everything separately :) For 4 people there were only 2 blankets. There should also the instruction how to switch on the gas - it was not so obvious. Micro-owen stand inside was absent. TV- sets are totally useless - you can't see youtube or any other online content. The shower is tiny - you could barely close the door :).

• Francesca (2/5): Terribile e imbarazzante, sconsiglio questa struttura - La posizione Appartamento apparentemente pulito, ma in realtà la situazione che si è presentata era imbarazzante: tazza del water rotta e non stabile, rubinetti che si muovevano (soprattutto quello del bidet), muffa nella doccia e stipite della porta marcio per il ristagno dell’acqua, materasso del letto con le molle che sporgevano, trapunta sporca e piena di macchie, cattivo odore e, in ultimo, si è staccata la parte alta dello stipite della porta del bagno ed è caduta in testa a mia moglie. Direi che la valutazione è la descrizione fatta su Booking è ben lontana da quello che abbiamo trovato!

• Krisztina (9/5): - Minden nagyon jó volt. A szállás közel van a Vatikánhoz, több élelmiszerbolt étterem és kávézó is van a közelben. A szállásado Rossana végtelenül kedves és segítőkész. Csak egy két apróság, Például a fürdőszobába jó lenne valami akasztó ahova a törülközőt, és a ruhákat felakasztom. A konyharészbe szintén valami ruha akasztó a kabátoknak illetve konyharuha.

• M (6/5): Buena estancia debido a la estupenda ubicación pero el apartamento mejorable. - Tanto la ubicación como la flexibilidad de la propietaria para hacer check- in y el check-out. Nos dejó entrar antes de la hora señalada y también pudimos salir después , lo cual nos vino mio bien. El cuarto de baño y la ducha era muy pequeños. Tanto la tapa del inodoro como la cisterna estaban rotos. La cisterna , que estaba enganchada en la parte superior de la pared, tenía un pequeño escape de agua y soltaba una gota continua, que incluso llegaba a mojarte. A las camas les faltaba la sábana de arriba, solamente tenia la bajera.

• Valerie (6/5): Mitigé - La proximité du Vatican, des restaurants, des boutiques et du métro. La literie confortable La salle de bain très petite notamment la douche. Obligé d’ouvrir la porte de douche pour pouvoir se laver les pieds. À chaque douche, tout était inondé et rien pour éponger. Pas de tapis de douche ni serpillière. Dans la chambre des enfants, nuisances sonores, la télé de l’appartement à côté très fort jusqu’à 3 heures du matin. Pour les affaires de toilette, les enfants avaient une petite serviette et une serviette de douche mais les parents nous n’avions qu’une petite serviette. La cafetière n’était pas nettoyé avec le marc de café séché. Pas de torchon pour essuyer la vaisselle

• Thomas (6/5): In my view, the apartment lacked any character. Perfect location but not worth the money. - Perfect location for the Vatican. Quarter corner Of Slats in bed frame were broken. Space was filled with blankets and pillows and the broken slats to try and hold up the mattress at that end and successfully. Host then had the cheek to send me an email accusing me of being the one who broke it. Outrageous. She blamed the previous guest as responsible for why there was no ironing board. There were no plugs for the sinks. Despite at least two weeks of request for the street address and access arrangements, it took the host until the night before to advise - and that was only after a couple of days of constant chasing by Booking.com. There was no form of welcome pack of any kind. It appears to me that the owner of the apartment is interested only in making money (and plenty of it) and not interested at all in reinvesting any of it to upgrade the apartment and facilities (for example, to change from plastic dishware). It is a one bedroom apartment converted to a two bedroom space with no lounge. Loved the location but believe the apartment wasn’t worth the high cost.

• Sarah (9/5): What a gem, in a great neighbourhood - Fantastic authentic apartment with large bedrooms and comfortable beds. Loved the neighbourhood. Close enough to main sites, very close to Vatican, but without the crowds and English speaking tourists of the old town. Great restaurants near the apartment. A/C works well and the courtyard is cool on hot days. Rossana was friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend. As others have mentioned, the bathroom is small. It's newly renovated though, with modern clean tiles. The toilet takes a few pushes to flush.

Near the metro station, not far from the Vatican, lots of restaurants around. Quiet to be with windows to the yard, comfortable beds. We knew about the small shower corner from previous reviews. (if you don't have a problem with the size of the seat on the plane, you won't have a problem with the shower either).

They turn it down a bit but it feels as it hey are in the room. A bit dark but good value for price. Other that that the second room,kitchen, etc, was great.

• Vladimíra (7/5): I would recommend to stay at this apartment - Location of this property is the best! Walking distance to Vatican City is about 7 minutes. We were also able to walk to the city center on the other side of the river. Apartment is very quiet. Host was very very nice, we were in touch via whatsapp and she helped me with everything I needed almost immediately. She also give us one extra hour to leave apartment, because we wanted to visit one place at the last morning of our stay. AC worked very well. Beds were comfortable. Everything was clean, but at some spots it didn't feel that way. Bathroom should be more cleaned from scale. Window in one room cannot be closed properly, so when you closed the window, you could easily open it again without having to pull the handle. (or maybe I was just doing something wrong and window was fine). But there were bars so it was safe. The drawers on the cabinet in this room were also broken, but I didn't use it so I didn't mind. The photos look a bit more beautiful than in reality.

• Crystal (10/5): It was FANTASTIC 🥰 - Ms Francesca was very accommodating and responds to messages really quick which is very good. Self check-in was easy. The apartment has everything a family would need. It has kitchen, so when you feel like making your own food for breakfast, you can do it. If you feel lazy cooking, restaurants and pizza places are very accessible. Supermarkets are just minutes away. The 2 bedrooms were spacious, with big beds and very comfortable pillow 😀 not the usual pillow that becomes really flat once you lie on it 😉 Vatican, Castel Sant Angelo and other popular places to visit in rome are accessible from the apartment. Neighbourhood was quiet and safe. We travelled with our 3 and 4 year old kids and they managed to walk from the apartment to castel sant angelo, the pantheon and trevi fountain. 😊 Ottaviano Metrostation is very near, you can take it to go to The Colloseum.

• Desislava (8/5): We had a nice stay - The apartment was clean, spacious, very close to the metro station and quiet. Most of all I loved the big comfortable bed and pillows. The shower cabin is tiny, which was fine for us, but could be uncomfortable for bigger people. There was some moisture in the apartment as a whole and it is a bit dark.

The best things of all are comfortable beds and location! Vatican and nice streets with bars and restaurants are only a short walk away, as well as metro and bus stations. Since the apartment is in the basement, there was no sun or much of a daily light. A bathroom needs some update as well (leaking from the shower and toilet).
• Andreja (6/5): Not great not terrible. - The host was great and helpful. She was always there to help. The bed was great and comfortable. The rooms are big. The location is great! The wifi is only good in the dining room. The bathroom is so small and there are no hangers in there to leave you clothes while showering or to hang you towels. The dishes were all dirty. There were no kitchen towels. In one room you can hear the neighbors from upstairs and the other one is quiet.

• Jurgen (7/5): Good location to visit Rome for a group of 4 people instead of using a hotel. - The location was perfect, nearby the Vatican, metro station, pubs and restaurants. Inside the 2 sleeping rooms were as expected and clean. One room had an airco system. We didn't use the kitchen to cook, so we can't judge this place. The bathroom was a little bit too small and there were some parts which can be improved or even replaced. To be clear this was the only part in the apartment which was below our expectations. The douche is also very small, the bathroom door can not closed properly and the rubber below the door is stuck and is not stopping the water when showering. The toilet seat needs a better model as it is not covering the whole system. And maybe somebody needs to look to the toilet flusher as it has a special way of working (pushing almost 5x before it starts flushing). I think these things can be solved rather easily for future visitors.

• Dimi (8/5): Amazing location - The location is very convenient with the metro nearby. Also only a few minutes walk to Vatican but away from the chaos. Nice cafes and restaurants nearby. The host is very helpful and replies immediately. Easy directions given to collect the keys. We found the bathroom small and hard to use. Also shower wasn’t ideal, and there was always water on floor after use.
