• Kai (1/5): Hält Zusage nicht ein. - Am Morgen des zweiten Tages regnete es durch das Dach. Wir vereinbarten mit der Vermieterin, dass wir ausziehen und die verbleibenden zwei Tage erstattet bekommen. Danach Funkstille, keine Erstattung. Support über Booking.com leider auch umständlich und letztendlich nicht erfolgreich. Keine Empfehlung!
• William (9/5): Great place, great location and great host - Very central off a quiet street and the building was so quiet too, the Duomo was right around the corner, very spacious and has everything you need , and very comfortable , the end of the street the hotel has a rooftop bar which is very nice, and the owner of the cafe at the end of the street was so friendly, coffee and pastries from there every morning, The stairs up to the apartment but they were doable even when tipsy

• Benedict (9/5): - Sehr zentrale aber dennoch ruhige Lage. Gemütliche Dachterrasse und schönes Badezimmer. Das Stiegenhaus ist mit großem Gepäck (Koffer) durchaus eine Herausforderung. Die sehr weichen Matratzen sind wohl Geschmackssache.
• mht3164 (4/5): Disappointed - How close it was to the Duomo. The street outside the front door had motorbikes parked literally in front of door, making it difficult to enter / exit especially with bags. We tried to have communication with the owner, concerning a missing key, but the response took hours. We had expected a balcony, but found out the listing had 2 apartments, but this was not clear, the photos just appeared to show one apartment.
• Chris (7/5): Amazing location and good value. Not for those who find steps hard. - Location was amazing. 10min walk from train. 5 min walk to Duomo Di Santa Maria del Fiore (Florence Cathedral) Quiet backstreet, Great for shopping and local sites. It was a great place to stay... but see note below. It's not for everyone. We never met the owner/manager however access to keys etc was easy and well described in welcome notes you receive when you check in. Two important notes: It's in the description however its not a reality until you get there... There are LOTS of stairs to go up to the apartment. We had 2 x 23kg bags (we were travelling for a month) and I carried them up as there is no lift. It's 4 floors. It's a narrow staircase. My partner said.... If I wasn't with her she could not have got her bag up by herself. So, if you are elderly, if mobility is a factor this place is not for you. However, if you are fit, strong or just pack light it's not a problem at all. You only have to go up with your bags once. The second thing is a bit weird. It's not a serviced apartment and we were there 4 days.... they provided 2 x rolls of toilet paper, (2 people, 4 days) I know it's a small thing but it was the only place we stayed in all of Europe that required us to buy our own extra toilet paper. If you are only staying for a weekend, and you only have carry on luggage... It's an awesome place.

• Michelle (8/5): Very good - Clean and spacious! Very convenient location. Mattress should be replaced as it has a dip which makes it uncomfortable to sleep in. The apartment is located at the top hence carry a huge luggage is challenging.

• Karita (8/5): It was everything we needed, relatively good value for money, host was very quick to respond and it was perfect for a co - It was very central, walking distance to everywhere, yet on a quiet side street. It was not a problem for us but it is not suitable for somebody with mobility issues since there are 50 deep steps to the flat and also steep steps in the flat itself.

• Elly (9/5): Superb Apartment in Central Florence - Location great, bed comfortable, good quality linen and towels. AIR con great. Everything you needed. Advice and help was just a text away if needed. Steps up to 4th floor were not too bad. Would have maybe liked Netflix on the TV.
• Tahir (3/5): "Pretty" horrible - The location was decent. But that was about it! It was a long/narrow flight of steps up to the 3rd floor (for my North American friends, its ground + 3, so basically 4th floor) to get in. This was not clear on the listing, and when i asked, the host blamed booking.com for not letting them put that information in "clearly." Wonder what stops them from putting it in the description! It doesn't matter if you come by car or train, it's a fair bit of walk to the property and then you are greeted by this narrow entrance with several flights of steps. The entrance was dirty and stank. I get it's the old part of town, but that shouldn't stop you from having a clean entrance. Dust, cobwebs all around the entrance, and i also found a few in the room. Bathroom had some signs of mold next to the shower. Posting a couple of pictures for reference as i cant post all of them. Booking.com doesn't validate these like AirBnB so all they can say, "we are sorry". That solves it i guess!
• Alexander (7/5): Good overall. - 1). Location was fantastic. Very central. 2). The self check in was easy. 3). Host was very helpful and communicative. When I had a problem with the wifi, she fixed it quickly. 1). The stairs were very steep, but I realize that's common in old buildings. 2). The bathroom and kitchen surfaces seemed clean but there was a lot of dust on the night stands by the bed and the downstairs floor was dirty. I wiped some drops of water from the floor there with a paper towel and the towel was black. 3). Security: I felt secure because of the locked door on my floor, plus the door to my room having a good lock. However, the street door can be pushed open with ease, even when locked.

• Janari (8/5): Very good - The location is superb, everything is very close by and easy to get to all sights. The host was wonderful offering recommendations and when had issues with the air-con resolved them very quickly. It was quite warm during the period, so the air conditioning was struggling a little bit to cool it down, sleeping on the higher level was quite warm. The stairs are narrow and the apartment is quite high, so older people would have struggled but we did not mind
• Rolf (9/5): Exceptional; The little balcony was a big bonus. one felt like you could reach out and touch the nearby Capello Medici - Extremely good location. very close to te. Within walking distance of all the good shops, markets and sights we liked everything about it
• Paul (1/5): looks great on website but was way to stressful getting upto apartment and confusion over terrace - nothing really way too many stairs to negotiate with suite cases. lot smaller than photos. we thought like many others we were getting the terrace apartment so pretty misleading advertising.

They made me pay extra 85 Euros in cash as cleaning fees for checking out and charged another 85 Euros in my credit card. when I requested them to return the extra 85 Euros, I never received any responses from the Property after I requested them to return the extra 85 Euros that they charged 2 times. The property is well maintained and clean, also very convenient. The check-out instructions are not correct. They made me pay extra 85 Euros in cash as Cleanning fees for checking out and charged another 85 Euros in my credit card. when I requested them to return the extra 85 Euros, I never received any responses from them.
