• Jason (8/5): Decent place to stay in Osaka - Easy check-in process. Close to train stations, strong wifi (from the front door). Lots of dishes and silverware. Amazing body wash that is foamy and silky. No chairs to sit. Bit dusty and could be aired out to clean the air. With a longer cord, the wifi router could be in the middle of the apartment and it would provide a better connection all throughout. As the wifi router is above the front door, the wifi is fast and works really well by the kitchen.

• 김 (9/5): - 駅のすぐ側に位置する、ただの外国人はよく知らない韓国の80年代の住宅がおもいさせる懐かしさも感じさせるよい宿であります。近所では居酒屋とか食事所もたくさんあるし、温泉もあるし、他の地域の旅行でも比較的に手安く訪問できるとてもいい宿所です。 タオルがもうちょっとあったら、もっといいんじゃないかなと思いました。

• Cindy Melissa (7/5): - Es muy cercano a la estación de Bentencho, y es muy cerca para coger el metro, tiene todos los utensilios, el lugar es amplio y estaba muy limpio, la zona es muy segura, queda cerca un seven eleven y un family mart lo que era muy bueno al llegar después de actividades. No se pudo congeniar con el anfitrión un check in mas temprano, nos tocó el tercer piso y las escaleras son estrechas cuando toca subir o bajar las maletas. Sin culpa nos llevamos la llave, y nos iban a cobrar 15,000 yenes, nos tocó enviar en correo certificado y solucionado.

• Robert (1/5): old but clean and acceptable if you're on a budget. - 5 min walk from the station extremely steep stairs from the street. very dangerous to climb with suitcases. tub drains into and floods shower area. train noise at night. host didn't respond right away about cancellation exception due to covid. didn't offer refund except for cleaning fee so we ended up staying anyway.

• Andreas (9/5): perfect location for a weekend or expo visit - very good location close to JR and Metro. easy to reach Kansai Airport, Expo site or downtown Osaka. everything was perfect. for foreign visitors an adapter for electric plugs would be useful but we bought a charger for USB at the nearby convenience store Lawson so not a big problem.
• Verónica (10/5): Big place - It was pretty big, it had a kitchen space, a living space and the bedroom, aside from the bath and wc, it was neat to two metro lines, which as good too It doesn't have stairs, so please check that out, we were in the third flood so it was kinda tricky to get our stuff in and out
• Leon (8/5): Great location, good value - Excellent location very close to Bentenchō station, which is part of the Osaka loop line. The host responded quickly to messages and the apartment itself was clean and spacious enough. I personally liked the old-fashioned interior. The pillows and blankets were comfortable. I am not used to sleeping on futons, which affected my quality of sleep.

• Eszter (7/5): Minimalistic, calm stay. Good internet. No real kitchen. - Super calm area, still cloze to everything needed like supermarkts, metro, city center, small restaurants. The place was clean, some hair and dust here and there but ok and cozy, in minimalistic Japanese style, to sleep and eat, not to chill there all day. The internet connection is good enough to be able to work. There is NO option for COOKING, only to heat up stuff from the supermarket. So if you are looking for a place to make your own healthy food or have special diet needs like us, maybe rent somewhere else. We spent about 50000 yen more cause we needed to eat outside everyday in the 2weeks stay - we counted on a kitchen with a stove.

• Nil (6/5): Pleasant - The location is very convenient, it is possible to reach most of the places in Osaka with ease. The travel to and from the airport is also easy. We stayed there in February and the place was very cold. Even though there was an AC, it took very long for the entire place to heat up since there is only one. Plus, we had a very difficult time checking in. We were informed that the manager might not be there when we arrived, so we might have to self-check in; however, we were given no instructions as to what we should do. So we got there and there was no one, we had no way of checking in. So we had to stay at a different hotel that night even though we had payed for it. We had a bad experience in the beginning, but the manager was actually nice in person and she helped us out when she got there. I think it was miscommunication. Despite everything, we mostly enjoyed our stay there.

• Anna (8/5): Very nice and spacious accommodation in Osaka - We liked that the room was very spacious. The lady who welcomed us offered us water bottles. That day was especially hot, so we found it very kind! The air-con worked well and the microwave was really helpful. There was a freezer, which we found very practical. Even though we mentioned several negative aspects that we felt were important to take note of, we liked this accommodation a lot, and would come back, if we go to Osaka again. Thank you! :) We traveled as 3 friends and the curtains that were placed outside the bathroom for privacy (to change and dry ourselves) were a little too short, which was a bit uncomfortable. If you travel as a couple or as a family, it's fine though. If your an European, you won't be used to it, but here the bathroom is Japanese style, you only use it to take a shower/bath. If you want to wash your teeth/your face/put make up on, you have to use the toilet, since there are no mirror or sink in the bathroom. We did not have any problem about it with the landlord but just so you know, the rules are : quiet after 11pm and asleep after 1am. There are noise recorders in the room to check if the rules are being followed. We found it a little but weird to be honest.

• Anton (7/5): Last minute booking during peak season. One of the few affordable places not too far from Universal. - Very plain japanese room. It's a small old apartment. No bidet (For japanese standards a scandal). Up to 6 Futon beds (You only get as many as you need). Air conditioning is loud. Bring earplugs. Bath was a small square bath tub that could be troublesome for "large people". Bath water takes about a minute to heat up. All in all it was a last minute avilable residence at an affordable price during chinese new year. Good enough for me. Beggars can't be choosers. You have to get there at a reasonable arrival time. And you should tell the landlord to the best of your ability your arrival time. She lives on the ground floor and you have to ring her bell, so she can give you the key.

The shower was dirty. The owner of the apartment Was not helpful .When I had a request I had to ask several time to have an answer 2 days after for an answer. It was terrible.

• Serpa (1/5): Bad - The room was full of cockroach! Canalization, floor, mats. In 5 minute we saw more than a dozen of then! We were forced to search for a new hotel after a long trip and completely exhausted. The owner tried to move us to a new room on the same building, but after seeing cockroaches in the pipes we knew that any room in that building would have the same problem and we were disgusted by the situation already. The owner tried to guilt us to stay and wanted us to come back to the same room the next day after putting some pods in the room, like that would solve an infestation of that level. After we refused we were still charged by half the value including a cleaning fee. A cleaning fee for a room infested with cockroaches... If you value your money don't rent this place.

• Steve (8/5): Very good - Very convenient to universal world (USJ). Also not far from station or convenience store. 2 rooms. Not like or dont-like: this is an older apartment. There is 1 air conditioner for entire place. But it can cool it down. 2 rooms separated by sliding door. 1 room can be bedroom upto 4 people. Or lounge room converts to beds for 3 in each room. Beds are futons on tatami (which I like) Bathroom is small but usable. 1 aircon when it's super hot (37)

• Danielle (10/5): Exceptional - If you want to experience a traditional style home with futon sleeping areas, this is the place!!! First night was uncomfortable on the floor, but after that our bodies adapted and it was quite comfortable. Very close to Bentencho station, neighbourhood is quiet and lovely. Bath was a tad small for westerners, but that’s ok, still had shower facilities.
