• Igor (10/5): - We absolutely loved this apartment — it truly immersed us in the authentic atmosphere of Venice. The interior is full of charming details and classic Venetian style, which made our stay feel special and memorable. The location is perfect, just a minute from St. Mark’s Square, yet still quiet and cozy. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience the real spirit of Venice.

I was able to check in a bit earlier because they finished cleaning which was really appreciated since I just arrived from the US and was very tired. I could not recommend Casa Torretta more if you want to be in the center of it all while you're in Venice. N/A

As a photographer who gets up in the morning to shoot sunrises, it was great to come home, leave the equipment and join the people celebrating.The apartment - top! Clean, warm with everything you need!I have no comments! Everywhere there were small and neat cafes where you can sit and enjoy the coffee and the view around you.I would gladly come back, maybe even next year! there is no such thing!
• Alex (9/5): Can recommend it! - Everything was good, the place is very comfy and location is superb, but away from the main street so it makes the place not that noisy. Nothing in particular - narrow staircase is the only thing that had bothered me.

• Gerasimos (3/5): Beautiful apartment but we had to walk on dirty water to reach it - Well equipped beautiful apartment next to St. Marks square We had a bad surprise when we arrived. We arrived in the afternoon, and the square of St. Mark was flooded on one side. We had a meeting with the owner at a café, which, when we arrived, we saw was flooded. We asked to reschedule at another location, but when the owner (who didn't speak any English) arrived, she informed us that we had to walk through the flooded side of the square to enter the house. When I say flooded, I mean that my wife, our two underage children (10 and 12 years old), along with two suitcases weighing 24 kilograms each, had to walk through dirty water reaching knee to ankle height for me, who is 1m83 tall. The owner had brought us one pair of boots and two plastic covers (one torn), while there were four of us. We refused to proceed and bought four plastic covers for 40 euros, which we put on. We started walking through the flooded square, and I carried the huge 24-kilogram suitcase in my hands because otherwise, it would have ended up completely submerged in water, ruining all our clothes. After crossing a small bridge, the owner led us to an inner courtyard next to the canal, which was also flooded. There, I feared we would get trapped because the entrance to the apartment was in a flooded courtyard next to the canal. If the water level rose further, we would be trapped in the apartment without an escape route. The owner told us that's just how things were, and she couldn't do anything about it. We asked to cancel the reservation, but it was non-refundable. The owner called me and told me not to worry. For two out of the four days of our stay, I carried the plastic covers in a bag and we used them to walk through the water to enter the house, hoping that the water wouldn't rise further and trap us in the apartment.

• Cristina (9/5): We loved the location. We were in the heart of Venice. - The location is great, right next to St. Marco square. We were in the heart of Venice in no time. Right at the exit of the building there is a cute coffee shop on a canal from where you can take a gondola.
