Guest Reviews
- Romina Angela (8/5): - The location and the space. The bathroom. There was no couch in any of the apartments as shown in the image. The apartment on the 6th floor did not have a coffee table. It was bare.
- Ruel (8/5): Very good place - Location Ceiling
- Ruel (9/5): Thanks for the stay - Cleanliness and location Just add bidet and it will be totally good for all national
- Leigh_1 (9/5): Heart of Dotonbori - Right on Dotonbori with all the food options a few steps away. Close to station and clean/large apartment

- Ruel (8/5): Thank you very much - At city Ceiling looks

- Chandekar (7/5): Good -
- Jenny (2/5): Ok for overnight stay. - Great location. Right next to a pharmacy and across the road from Lawson. You are in the clubbing district or street but it’s not locked d that you can’t sleep. The location is directly behind the main walking strip for food and a few stores down from Don Quijote. It was easy to shop around, bring stuff back and head back out again because it was that convenient. Check in 40 mins early! - The ad doesn’t show you pictures of the other room which is what we ended up getting.
- The bed is a double and it’s on the floor. There a frame around it which you just end up stepping on or stubbing your toes.
- The room only has ‘limited hot water’ which was not stated on the ad.
- The wifi is only 3GB then you’re capped, again this was not stated on the ad.
- The kitchen and sink in a cupboard but everytime you opened it, it smelt. (Probably from the sink)
- We got 2 towels for a 6 day, 5 night stay and the towels were thin. So by day 3 you just felt gross using these towels especially with the limited hot water.
- The shower didn’t drain properly. When we lifted the drain….yuk!
- The roof by the window leaked when we had a full day of rain, had to use the hand towels because again, we only had a two each to shower.
- The pillows were the worst. It was so flat and old, like the same thickness as you folding a flat sheet together. I gave my partner the 2 pillows to create one and I slept on a massive plush toy we won.
It was a very unpleasant experience especially when we stayed there for a reasonable time. By day 3 we were over the place, feeling so tired from no sleep and feeling yuck. Couldn’t wait to leave the place which was sad because it’s in such a great location.
- Lexter (6/5): Good - Location is perfect
- William (5/5): Good location and price but... - It's a much larger than normal space which we liked, and the location was fantastic, literally steps from the main dotonbori/kuromon market....
But the shower has a mind of its own. Literally goes from scalding hot water to freezing cold, no in-between and the pressure was really bad. Also, the couch? Thing? That was in there had all kinds of....stains.... It also looks like the legs broke and it's just...a mess. They should really just throw it away.
Still, it was affordable l and a really good location but if they just replaced the couch and did something about the shower this would have been a 10/10 Shower, "stains" on the couch thing
- Ezechiel (1/5): Stay away from this property. - There is nothing to like about this place. Customer service reps are a bunch of scammers who go around the same topic in circles. The rooms were dirty and furniture is filled with stains. The rooms smelled extremely musty. There is nothing to like about this place. You are better off spending your money elsewhere
- Gerald (10/5): Exceptional -
- Timothy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rashid (3/5): Poor -
- Alfs (9/5): Superb -
- Tony (8/5): Great place if you want to experience the Osaka nightlife - Location was right in the heart of Dotondori, it was the best. It was spacious for a family of 3. The place had all the essentials we need. It can be noisy at night but it is at the centre of the nightlife so it is expected.
- Johnny (10/5): Exceptional - Especially the location is superb!
- Candy (9/5): I will book again for next trip to Osaka - Great location, clean and neat Unit does not have a washing machine and small kettle for boiling water to make coffee
- Hm (6/5): Pleasant - Location is in city centre. No electric kettle it has a pot
to boil water, no bowl, we booked for three but only two cup. Wifi speed was slow.
- Kelly (7/5): Amazing location! Super cute and perfect for 2 people - Location was amazing, had everything you needed and bed was super comfortable The couch needs to be removed asap as very uncomfortable and lots of questionable stains
- Mai (9/5): Superb - The location is perfect, close to the shopping area. The host is supportive with quick responses to my request and questions.
- Kirsten (1/5): This is a scam. The pictures are pretty, but the host didn’t give us access to the property. - Nothing This is a scam. I paid for the property and only received a confirmation number and a PIN, there were no check-in instructions. I called and emailed many times and received no response. Someone did answer the phone once but said he didn’t speak English (English was listed as ok for communication with the host). We found the address above some restaurants on Dontonbori and restaurant staff followed us up and tried to help us access the room (translating the email, phoning the host, trying various codes). No luck. We had to admit defeat and find a hotel.
- Claudia (7/5): Basic accom in great location for good price. - Good location right in the thick of dotonbori, cheap, basic accommodation. Walk to train. Considering it's such a busy area, it was still quiet, and the curtains kept the neo out.
The double bed was comfy, the single futon was VERY thin. Was hard to find without wifi as it's just a corridor off
the street with no obvious signage. Would help if the description mentioned some landmarks, like the Lawsons on corner or the massive 3 story screen across the road.
Also, the futon for our daughter was much thinner than others we've had with a big stain on it.
The furniture was a bit lacking, 1 chair and a stool with a big stain on it.
Saying that, it was a clean room, fine for our needs and cheap.
- Steven (7/5): Good -
- Pavotai (8/5): Great location, Acceptable price - Location is great, the price is can acceptable for Japanese long weekend period.
System for self checkin is friendly use. The mattress and pillow is too soft.
Flush toilet didn’t have toilet warmer and bidet.
- Ys (8/5): Very good -
- James (7/5): Good -
- Dharren (7/5): Good -
- Ian (4/5): needs better directions to room … needs sign on door … didn’t get into room until 1am in the morning - location hard to find … door lock wouldn’t open ..
- Seyoung (3/5): Disappointed - It was located in a good place. Also, it could be getting any place easier. We've stayed for four days. They just give us two towels for per person( body and hand ). We thought this one like hotel but it wasn't. They couldn't give us extra towels and housekeeping as well. Additionally, we couldn't get earlier check in even when they didn't have guest before us. It was very disappointing.
- Nurul (8/5): Very good - Location is good
- Ida (9/5): Convenient around the famous district of Dontonbori. - Very spacious and clean comparing with usual japanese hotel very compact and small for a family. The location nearby easily go for food hunting and shopping. Glico men just around the corner. Convenient walking around the area. Have kitchen utensils can cook some food for my son and the microwave is very helpful! Save a lot on food expenses from eating out at the restaurant. Love it! Even though the location is nearby with metro and shopping district of Dotonbori, it is too crowded. The restaurant nearby is always full, but if need to book will be few days only you get a chance to dine. Or else forget about it. The entrance to the place is at the back alley and too many people around makes the street dirty.
- Jamileh (4/5): A disappointing stay for what you pay and for family stay - Possibly the location is good for people just want to go out and close to Dotonbori tourist commercial area but we would have preferred a quieter area and less commercial anyways as a family who are interested in local food and action Well, where shall I start. We paid the price of a hotel room and arrive to notice this is only an airbnb accommodation advertised in booking.Com. The address was off and only sent to us by email 2 days before in Japanese and we couldn’t read it and end up showering to couple of Japanese who could read and find the address and password for us.
Then we arrive to notice there is only a king bed for 3 of us. Contacted the property manager and they said sorry just use the couch! The property is possibly ok for backpackers and when you pay for less money but paying almost $500 per night and stay on a smelly, dirty property was so disappointing. No way close to 5star, let alone +8 mark that currently have. Avoid if you are a family or paying to get a nice place. There many other hotels that you can get with better facility and same price
- Linh (9/5): Superb -
- Dakota (9/5): Superb - It is super spacious, practical, the location is wonderful!
Really close to restaurants, shopping streets, right next to the Donki.
The station is also really close. My reservation said check-out at 11am but in the check-out procedure message I received, I was told I would be charged late check-out if a cleaning staff came at 10 a.m. and I was still there.
- Piotr (8/5): Very good, not recommended for faimiles with kids. - It’s a new facility, super clean, apartment is big, easy to access all attractions in Osaka The building itself is pretty old, doors are welded shut on lower floors, you can spot cockroaches on the staircase, but not in the apartment. The street leading up to to the apartment is pretty scary at night (many host and hostess clubs in the vicinity, and customers using this kind of services, drunk people etc)… The view from the window is an abandoned building on the other side of street…
