Fantastic washer/dryer combo (actually dried!). Responsive bilingual host. Conveniently close to train station. Beds would have been more comfortable if the sheets and mattress topper fit better and didn't constantly shift. Cooking a challenge with only one burner and no rice cooker. Car noise at night and fumes if window was open.

The apartment is perfect for one or two people. I really suggest it I stayed here for 10 days and I would have liked to have something to clean the floor other than just a vacuum

• Murphy (7/5): Excellent location to experience the quieter side of residential Tokyo - The location near Kaminoge Station, and within 15-minutes’ walking distance of Futako-Tamagawa Shopping area and river front — absolutely 10 out of 10, stellar! The beds were also completely comfy and the in-unit washing machine was a nice plus! Right outside was a major roadway that was noisy all day long—but we could also hear our neighbors coming and going outside the door, too. The lighting was difficult, too, since there’s no single overhead lighting fixture that brightened the entire room at once.

The hallway was dirty, covered with hundreds of leaves, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere before even entering the property. The door lock was very old and unreliable. On the first day, it took me five minutes to open. On the third day, it did not open for nearly 20 minutes, and although I tried calling the host at 10 PM, there was no response. Fortunately, the lock eventually worked, but even locking the door each time was a struggle. The bed was smelly and clearly old. While the host replaced it after the first day, the pillows remained hard and had an unpleasant odor. The shower room was in very poor condition. The filter had never been cleaned (see attached photos), and I believe such unhygienic conditions could make guests sick. In addition, there was significant pink mold in various areas of the shower and ofuro. The washing machine was also dirty, both inside and outside, making it uncomfortable to use. Overall, the condition of the property was unhygienic and inconvenient, and I would not recommend it unless these issues are urgently addressed. Would you like me to rewrite this as a formal Airbnb review (public-facing) or as a direct complaint message to the host?

Good kitchen and easy garbage disposal. Right next to a loud busy road and few restaurants/bars nearby. Only one supermarket which isn't that close. Very residential area.

Everything you need is nearby, with a convenience store right across the street. The train station is literally a 4-minute walk away. It would have been nice if there was an iron and ironing board there.

• Ben (8/5): Great stay for 3-4. Nice location, but firm bed lovers beware! - I loved how close it was to the station and easy it was to grab a cab from our front door! The aircon worked wonders and having a washer/dryer in the bathroom was very convenient! 15min. Walking distance to Futagotamagawa! Combined with another room, I would recommend this place for a small group. Not much I didn't like in general but those (Twin) beds gotta go... Nothing worse than a spring mattress that lost its umpf. As soon as i sat down on them I sunk down through the thing! Sleeping on a extremely soft twin bed was not the most comfortable experience I must say- I would recommend just getting a semi firm foam mattress or even just a futon on the ground would be better than those things...
