Guest Reviews
- Renan (8/5): - Aconchegante espaçosa
- Pearl (5/5): Decent place to stay in a lovely location, but the photos and descriptions are misleading. - The location is great, the beds are comfortable and overall it is a decent place to stay. The photos of the property are not accurate. It’s not a bad property by any means, but the condition was not reflected in the price, photos or description. It has completely different furniture, the balcony now has solar on it and you are not able to go out. It’s definitely seen some rental use, lamps are broken, walls are dirty, the floor boards are shifting and slide under your feet. Our host was responsive up until we arrived. We stayed for 7 nights and were given two towels, I asked for an another and never received a response.

- Robinson (4/5): Dont book, needs a thorough clean. - Location is great for easy accessibility of the city. The apartment is not as described and owners need to ensure transparency for guests making a reservation. The apartment is on the 4th floor of an apartment building that has no lift. The staircase is very narrow and winding. Regardless if fitness it is extremely difficult to navigate with a suitcase. To say that upper floors are only accessible by stairs is misleading as the apartment is on the top floor, there are no other floors. At first appearance apartment looks generally clean however dishes were left in the dishwasher with food residue still stuck to them. Some crockery is chipped too. Dishcloth was worn out and there were 2 dishwasher tablets that looked like had been in the cupboard for years for a 7 day stay. I was so disgusted that I went and bought new dishcloths to wipe down the benches properly. There was no iron and the ironing board was broken. I contacted the agent on day 1 who suggested I go and buy an iron and they would reimburse me!! Really? They directed me to a store that had closed down, eventually on day 4 an iron was delivered and left on the street near the entrance. The beds have no mattress or pillow protectors and this has been raised by previous guests. The floors are in very poor condition and breaking apart which cleaning difficult as dirt and dust has built up in the cracks. The rug has a large stain and there are marks on the walls. Can’t really use the wardrobe in one bedroom as it was stuffed with a duvet. Wifi code was incorrect. In first 4 days I was given 4 different codes as the one in the welcome book was incorrect. Not sure what is meant by toiletries provided, only liquid hand soap that was half empty. The shower curtain was absolutely filthy with a heavy build up of mould. Instructions to get rid of the rubbish but no additional bin liners. Downstairs entrance was dirty too. Needs to be removed from reputable booking sites.
- Roberts (2/5): Misled by what was advertised... - Images advertised were not the apartment we were in.It took 2days to contact the owner to be told we were given an out of date WiFi code.We were led to believe via photos that there was an outdoor area where we could relax. The outdoor area we had was covered in solar panel and no access. One set of keys to the apartment did not work particularly access to the apartment. All in all the value we paid did not meet with the poor quality. We were dreadfully mis led with what was advertised on Booking.com. I would suggest your company do a physical inspection and remove this from your list of accommodation.

I have images to support our claims but will wait for your response to this review!
- Sian (1/5): While the location is excellent, the lack of cleanliness, basic supplies, guest support, and overall comfort made this s - The location was great. While the apartment was tidy at first glance, it was unfortunately not clean. Dust covered most surfaces—including bedside tables, the bathroom towel rail, and corners throughout. The shower curtain was in very poor condition, visibly dirty and showing signs of black mould. The bathtub drain was blocked, so water would pool around the ankles during a shower.
The mattresses were heavily pilled, and without a mattress protector or topper, the texture was very rough to sleep on.
The kitchen was poorly equipped for any kind of cooking. There were no chopping boards, and we were not provided with basic cleaning items such as a kitchen sponge, dish brush, or even dishwasher capsules—which we had to purchase ourselves, along with detergent for the washing machine.
Additionally, the Wi-Fi password provided in the laminated information sheet was incorrect, and it took half a day to hear back from the property manager with the correct one—not ideal if you’re relying on Wi-Fi for work or business travel.
We also had the misfortune of construction noise from a neighbouring property, where a rooftop terrace was being built directly outside the kitchen and bedroom windows. Work began daily at 7am consistently waking us. When we raised this with the apartment manager and asked to leave early, the response was dismissive and unapologetic: “We have no control over what the neighbour does.”
When we complained to Booking.com we were informed that the property would issue a €200 refund, which is less than a tenth of the total price we paid, but we have never received it. Follow-up attempts to contact the property have gone unanswered.
- Peter (6/5): In a great location, but shabby and poorly maintained - adequate, but that's about it. - The location was excellent as a base for exploring Amsterdam and visiting the main attractions and it was quiet in spite of being in the city. The apatment was at the top of a narrow, winding, communal staircase with 70 steps. There was no iron. The crockery, glassware and cutlery were still in the dishwasher on arrival. The living room flooring was breaking up. There were stains on the rug and grubby marks on painted walls. There were no mattress protectors, pillow protectors and only one small pillow per person. The only wardrobe was stuffed with a duvet and couldn't be used and there was a full-length mirror that had been pulled off the bedroom wall just propped up against it. There was no welcome pack and the wrong Wi-Fi code was given. When we telephoned the owners to get the right code they sounded busy and disinterested and when we rang a second time, because the code given was again wrong, our call went to an answering service and they never responded. Eventually we found the right code by trial and error. Unhelpful. There was no TV unless you had a subscriprion to streaming services - which wasn't worth it for a 7-night stay. There were no instructions for how to get rid of rubbbish, no bin-bags provided etc. Overall the impression we got was that this accommodation was being run as cheaply as possible by people who just want the income.
- Amanda (8/5): Very good - They kept us informed on how to check in, it was easy. Maybe a once off cleaning service as we had stayed for seven days. But not a problem, everything was there to do it ourselves.
- Georgiou (8/5): Very good - excellent location near to center and near to metro 4th floor without elevator.
- עודד (3/5): Except for the location the apartment is a big mistake - The apartment is ideally located, offering easy access to key attractions and convenient transportation options, making it a great choice for exploring the area. While the apartment’s location was great, there were a few areas that could be improved. The water pressure was quite low, and the kitchen was minimally equipped, with only one pan that was not in good condition. Unfortunately, the heating system didn’t work during our stay, which made the apartment uncomfortable at times. Additionally, we were only provided with three rolls of toilet paper for an 8-day stay with four guests, so I would recommend bringing your own. The Wi-Fi connection was weak and inconsistent, making it difficult to stay connected. When we asked the staff for some basic necessities, we were told that it’s an apartment, not a hotel, which was a bit disappointing.
- Klara (10/5): All in all our stay at this place was very enjoyable with initial miner cleanliness issues, which I’m sure the managemen - Private and cute little apartment in a perfect location. All appliances very in a great condition. We loved our stay at this property. Would definitely book this place again in the future. The blackout curtains were very dusty, probably haven’t been cleaned in years. They were so dusty that it triggered my daughter’s asthma and allergies. As soon as we removed the curtains from her bedroom, her condition improved dramatically and we could actually enjoy our vacation:) There were no spare bags for the vacuum cleaner and the one inside the vacuum cleaner was completely full. We bought our own. The rug in the living room area was very dirty, actually pretty disgusting. That rug should be replaced. Once we vacuumed, mopped and cleaned the place our stay became a lot more comfortable. The mattress toppers are old and very uncomfortable if you’re staying at this place for more than a few days. Also a manual for the washing machine would have been very helpful.
- Kai (7/5): Overall good - Overall, it was a nice experience with my family for our 26 days staying this flat. Good location and it wasn't that bad as previous bad review couple of years ago. Stairs and the water pressure of Shower is low,
- Humoud (10/5): Exceptional - Quiet and beautiful place and check in was very easy The Stairs
- Vv (8/5): Very good - Location is very good, near to tram and metro.
The house was clean and tidy. Sufficient amenities. Coffee machine was out of order.
We know the loft is at the fourth floor but it was difficult to climb. This is not a fault of course.
You have to wait at least 5 minutes for hot water only at the shower. The others were fine, immediate hot water.
At the end it was all good.
- Diane (8/5): Very good - Very clean and comftorble everything you needed at hand Too many stairs they are a killer also a couple of us woke up with a lot of bites over us so think that the mattresses need to be cleaned
- Mirsada (9/5): Superb -
- Valerie (8/5): Excellent location, excellent host, great apartment with view, comfortable beds and facilities -
