Guest Reviews
- Sofiia (9/5): -
- Maria Jose (8/5): Well planned tiny space in unusual locations…at a price - Tiny, Cozy, clean and well equipped
- Giorgia (7/5): -
- Megan-Rose (8/5): Comfy, quirky place to stay! - The bed was very comfy and it had everything we needed. The location was quite loud and I would be a little nervous to stay there as a single female but as a couple it was fine.
- Tanja (10/5): -
- Andro (9/5): - Very cosy place, original and beautiful, next to metro and train station, no neighbours, the bed is SO confortable The WiFi... so slow (even for Spotify)
- Mitia Alessandro (8/5): -
- Carolien (9/5): -

- James (4/5): Very disappointed :( - I love the concept or idea of the Sweets, (even if this one seems to be poorly maintained and
Managed), and the canal/river view was very nice in the morning We arrived late and the first impression was not good. There was graffiti all over the door and the windows, and it looked rundown. Once we got inside it was freezing cold and the suite had not been cleaned properly. A welcome card was left, with someone else’s name on it. The noise level was extremely high. This was an expensive stay and there was no evidence of any care or attention to detail, so in my view the value for money was unfortunately very poor
- William (1/5): Noise, noise and more noise of constant trains. -

- Andy taylor (10/5): - Great wee place too stay right on the water. Everything about the property is perfect. We fed the swans and geese. And parakeets crows and magpies.
- Angus (10/5): - Very unique place, obviously quite small so doesn't have every facility, but a great use of space. Can be loud next to a railline and road, but earplugs were provided for those who would need it
- Dominika (9/5): Great place! Worth the money. Train station 8 min by walk - excellent. - I really liked how they turned such a small space into such a cosy apartment! It was nice to stay there, very comfortable bed and everything was thought through. I think it can use a bit bigger sink for dishes. Other than that I can’t think of anything.
- Savion (10/5): Cute Bridge House - The bridge house is super unique. What it lacks in amenities it makes up for in charm. The bridge went up a few times during our stay and it was cool to experience. Located about a 8 minute walk from the metro that will take you to central Amsterdam in about 15 minutes. You can really stay wherever you want in Amsterdam cause the trains are very well connected and fast. Also there was a Bluetooth speaker in the room for us to use, it was a nice touch. A microwave would be nice but not a deal breaker. There is a fridge at least. Also only 2-3 windows have reflective covering. I think all of the windows should have the covering because the room is visible from all angles on the outside if the curtains are down.
- Victoria (7/5): Cosy place for a short stay outside of the touristy neighborhoods - Bed was super compfy and safe neighbourhood with everything you need at walking distance (10min) Train and metro every few minutes just next to the window, the outside of the house was full of graffiti
- Tabby (8/5): Great place to add to the experience of Amsterdam. - It was a great place to stay and added to the holiday. The place is small, but it's clean and has everything that is needed. The bed was also very comfy.
You are also only 5 mins walk from Amstel Station and from there you can get either the train, metro or tram into the centre.
- Paul (9/5): A quirky cosy comfy little space, you won't be disappointed. - The location was perfect, it is close to a train track but we loved the noise, it was easy to sleep too, it was a little like white noise. Don't be put off by the graffiti'd tunnels next door, they consist of a wine shop and a gym that's it. The room itself isn't as big as you were probably expecting but it works. The heating is amazing, the bed is the comfiest I've slept on away from home for years and the shower is exceptional. Looking forward to trying a few more of these Brug sites over the coming years. No wardrobe, and there is a way this room could be designed better so you could have suitable seating and wardrobe space, but other than that, perfect little accommodation.
- Amelia (8/5): Really interesting and unlike any accommodation we’ve stayed in before! - It was a great use of the space. The location was good near the metro stops and easy to locate. Really interesting and unlike any accommodation we’ve stayed in before! Room was lovely and clean too, the bed was really comfy and was equipped with some tea/coffee which was a nice extra touch. There wasn’t any space to hang items. (There was a few pegs on the walls but no hangers). The other side of the bridge was much more picturesque, but graffiti on the bridge cannot be helped.
- Ashdozik (9/5): Superb - Staff were very helpful and quick to respond. It was a nice unique stay. It was far from the activity of the city. It was about a hour walk, but it was a nice walk.
- Sem (8/5): Very good -
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matea (9/5): Exceptional! - Such a cozy little house, the bed was so comfortable!!
- Jason (10/5): it was a very nice compliment to a wonderful city - great location and near train it was great
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lindberg (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brent (8/5): Very good -
- Fatemeh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Olga (7/5): For active and wild adventure seacers ;) - Unique house ❤️
Good location, on the bridge, that adds some adventure (as it comes up and down).
The bed was very comy 🛌 Need to open window for some air, while it’s extremely loud outside. People were parting right under our windows all night. I guess, it’s the spot ;) which is nice, but only if you’re up to it. Sensitive sleepers, perhaps, should look somewhere else.
The room is actually very small (2 bags will block your entire entrance), so just consider that.
- Petar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good - I really liked the location. Easy acces to the centre. It was cosy , and clean. well equipped. I liked the tablet with all the information. there was a really small bath bath sink , it was a bit noisy, especially in the morning.
- Alex (9/5): Superb - Very cozy and well designed space in a peculiar context: on a bridge The train line close-by can be a bit noisy if you have a light sleep
- William (10/5): Exceptional -
- Voutirakos (10/5): Different and unique! - Such a different place to stay!
I was really nervous about this place, I didn’t know what to expect for. but it was a great experience.
It is a small room, don’t imagine that you have a lot of space, but they used every corner of this room in an useful way, so smart!
The checkin process is very easy, they will send you a code and you need an app, so you will have a key on your phone during the stay, and a real one that you’ll find in the room.
Our next time in Amsterdam will be in another location of Sweets hotel, closer to the centre.
this is not too far, but for us was to much to walk. If you have a bike for example, it will be easier. none
