• Andrew_GAC (9/5): Appartamento nel cuore di Taksim - Appartamento nel cuore di Taksim, a due passi dalla torre Galata e Istiklal street, palazzo antico, ambiente pittoresco e vecchio stile ma dotato dei confort moderni; 2 camere spaziose (volendo 3, avendo un salotto con divano letto) una zona pranzo, una cucina ben attrezzata e due bagni, anche se un pochino piccolini ma nuovi e con 2 docce, che quando si è in 4 fanno la differenza, il riscaldamento (termosifoni) e il raffrescamento (aria condizionata) sono autonomi. Ad uso degli inquilini anche la terraza del palazzo che offre un bel panorama sulla città e di sera è molto suggestiva. I proprietari Burcu ed Erdem sono stati gentilissimi, hanno organizzato per noi il transfer da e per l'aeroporto, ci hanno accolto personalmente con grande simpatia e disponibilità, ci hanno dato consigli su dove fare la spesa e quando ho chiesto assistenza per un problema hanno provveduto immediatamente. Anche prima del nostro arrivo eravamo in contatto whatsapp e durante il soggiorno comunicare e stato molto facile. In definitiva bell'appartamento, abbastanza spazioso, attrezzato, funzionale, gestito bene, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Il valore aggiunto è ovviamente la posizione: come ho detto nel cuore di Taksim e a 2 minuti dalla torre Galata! Per noi la zona più bella dove soggiornare ad Istanbul, antica ma vivaciasima, ricca di tutti i tipi di locali aperti fino a tardi: negozi e ristoranti, dal tipico turco al pub irlandese al caffè Art Nouveau alla tavernetta dove bere the e fumare il narghilè, al localino senza nome dove fare la colazione turca, e infiniti altri. È un vortice di colori, musica, odori e sapori, con un gatto da accarezzare ogni dieci passi.. per diamine già ci manca.. e incredibilmente sentiamo la mancanza anche del muezzin! Magia di Istanbul Direi nulla, il palazzo è antico e dire che non ha l'ascensore mi sembra una eresia, come ho detto i bagni sono piccolini ma nuovi per cui vale la stessa considerazione.
• Kevin (10/5): Unforgettable city and amazing apartment with rooftop views - The apartment is amazing. Two spacious bedrooms at opposite ends provide your privacy’s and comfort. Very well situated near the Galata tower and within walking distance to many of the sites. It is an incredible beautiful city and has a population of 16 million so be prepared to walk. Whether staying on Galata side or crossing over to the Religious mosques, you will enjoy walking. Getting back to the apartment afterwards you can take in the amazing views from the rooftop terrace. • RinH (10/5): - The apartment is located in the historic part of Istanbul—in Beyoğlu. Since the building itself is also historic, you shouldn't expect soundproofing that meets modern standards. Instead, its charm lies in its historic ambience, special atmosphere, and authenticity. The owner has really done a beautiful job of renovating the apartment. The shower rooms are relatively small, but perfectly usable for people of normal ''Size''. You shouldn't expect barrier-free access in such an old building either. Anyone who travels frequently in Asia is familiar with the country's typical sewage system and the use of water for hygiene instead of paper, or rather, paper goes in a bucket – so this was no surprise to us. The apartment is also equipped with a washing machine and dryer. This was super convenient for doing laundry in between. We stayed here for 5 nights and were absolutely thrilled with the accommodation and the location. A big shout-out to our host Burcu, who answered all our questions very quickly and was a real help – thanks again!"

• Antonia (8/5): Bon rapport qualité/prix, localisation parfaite. - La localisation centrale dans un quartier animé mais dans une rue calme. Quelques équipements vieillissant , des détails uniquement ( salle de bain, pommeau, porte serviettes ) . Pas de lumières sur la terrasse du bâtiment.
• Piet (10/5): Een groot succes in een rustig appartement in een drukke horecawijk, pal naast het centrum. - Het appartement is zeer aantrekkelijk gelegen in de horecawijk Galata, pal tegenover het oude centrum van Istanbul, dat te voet goed te bereiken is. Galata is wel steil gelegen, dus je moet goed ter been zijn. De begeleiding per app en ter plaatse was heel vriendelijk en handig. Bercu van Ganbaru Tours heeft ook de taxi van en naar het vliegveld geregeld, wat heel fijn was. Het dakterras met uitzicht op de Gouden Hoorn en het centrum was heel aangenaam. We hebben daar heerlijk van de wijn uit het appartement genoten, die trouwens een stuk goedkoper is dan in de restaurants in de stad. Het appartement zelf was van alles voorzien en lag heel rustig temidden van de restaurants en cafeetjes. We vonden dit een geweldige plek van waaruit we Istanbul konden verkennen. Helemaal niets.

The hosts have shared list of good places around and even an Istanbul card. - The apartment is located in a historical building close to Galata tower and Istiklal Street with easy access to transport. Lots of places to eat or buy souvenirs around.

The host and his team are very helpful in arranging transfer between airport and apartment, guided tours, private boat tours on the Bosporus, reservations at restaurants and so on. • Voskobitova (9/5): Lovely place to stay in Istambul - The appartment in good for family or friends' company: three seperate bedrooms with showers and living room. Kitchen has all neccessary equipment. Location is great, just near Galata Tower. It was not clears from the information if there are both dishwasher and wasmachine, but both are in the appartment.
• Anastasiya (8/5): Good choice to save money if you want to live on the touristic part of Istanbul - We booked Two-Bedroom Apartment with washing and drying machines, two showers, one toilet, and lots of useful stuf. The location was very good, on the quite street but near Galata Tower. The hosts were amazing, very helpful and kind, we were able to check-in at afternoon. Thank you for this! There are a shared terrace with a nice view to the Golden Horn. It is quite old building without elevator and without noise isolation. You hear all neighbours, especially the one living upstairs. And you will listen to the very loud ahdan at 5 am, but it is Istanbul - some things you will have to accept. Both beds in this apartment are not comfortable at all. There is only one toilet, and the toilet tank refills very slowly, like 5 min. It would be nice to add instructions for using the gas stove. It would be nice to add some 300 ml mugs.

• Dr. (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is absolutely wonderful; super stylish decorated, very well equipped and has everything to have a wonderful stay in the heart of Galata. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the vibrant neighbourhood by the Galata Tower. It doesn't get any better than this in Istanbul, the most important sights are within walking distance. The host Erdem is absolutely amazing, he took great care of everything, was super nice, helpful and utmost reliable. Communication with him was great and smoothly. He also gave us excellent tips for our stay in Istanbul. In short: We had a wonderful time and I would come back anytime as I can absolutely recommend the accommodation. Thank you!
• Suzareen (6/5): Overall an average holiday home in a convenient tourist area. - Location in the heart of tourist area, lots of quaint cafes/restaurants, shops, public transportation. Flat owner very responsive and helpful from the onset, and throughout stay. Understandably a very noisy area with loud music till sometimes 2-3am; flat is on the third floor without lift so may be an issue for guests with disabilities; shower water goes off and on abruptly while in use; similarly the hot water isn’t consistent (every time we shower, the hot water goes off suddenly and you’re stuck with very cold water with a head full of shampoo); stove lighter not working so we had to purchase our own lighter; flat lighting rather dim throughout; you can hear neighbours from above walking/stomping around on their wooden flooring, so it’s hard to get some peace and quiet after a day of exploring Istanbul. The surrounding area isn’t very clean and there are quite a number of beggars (adults and kids) and we witnessed a bunch of homeless kids being chased by authorities after robbing some people.
• Akram (9/5): on balance this is still a great property and I hope to be back one day! - comfortable, spacious and authentic/full of character. very courteous and helpful owner and his agents and cleaners toilets/bathrooms felt a bit tight and would benefit from properly closing doors with some sound insulation…
• Reni (9/5): Perfect location and awesome vibes! - the location was absolutely perfect for our stay. just a stone throw away from Galata tower and surrounded by amazing boutiques/coffee shops/ bars and restaurants . we enjoyed walking through the cobbled streets all the way till the end of the bustling Istiklal Street. the train station is also walkable. There are grocery stores close by and as the kitchen is functional and we cooked our breakfast on 2 days. the weather was perfect and we didn’t need to switch on the a/c. Irdem was a perfect host and. made sure our requests were promptly attended to. he arranged porters to carry our luggage up the 3 flights of stairs. overall we were happy with our stay and the artistically decorated space lent a great vibe to the place. *only limitation was it was on the 3 floor and no lift. *though we’re informed in advance - there were bed space for 11 ,but had to manage the available 2 toilets / 3 showers like how we do in a college dorm, considering we were a group of 9 friends. it was a bit of challenge on the first day but we managed without too much trouble . *the quiet hour starts from 22:00 pm and so we had limit ourselves from going loud/ dancing in the apartment by staying out till late.

The location is great and strategic, to visit diffirent places of the city. Excellent wifi, all was working. We had two minor issues, and Erdem was super fast to solve them. Very reactive and friendly, with good advice about public transportation. It was worth the price. Great place! All was good. Maybe the Kitchen could be equipped with more big knives and a set of clothes pegs to hang the laundry (maybe there were some but we did not find them). But these were just minor issues, all was great!
