• Mercedes (9/5): A clean, nicely decorated, spacious apartment for two in the heart of Calle Ocho. - The rental location is in the heart of Calle Ocho, which I love. The surrounding area was quiet, and we felt safe inside the property. The host was very friendly.
• Artur (1/5): Never again. SCAMMERS - Stay away from this place. Booking.com reviewed our complaint, confirmed the problems, and issued a partial refund. After that, despite confirming that the apartment was left in very good condition, the property refused to return the refundable security deposit and attempted to recover their financial loss from us instead. They later claimed it was related to a Booking.com error, which Booking.com confirmed was not true. The property stopped responding, and we had to start a bank dispute to recover our deposit. All evidence was provided. Dirt, dirt, dirt. Really cold at night - the windows got watery after the night!!!!. Mold. It looks like it wasnt cleaned for at least 6months. But cleaning fee is included in price… we wanted to change locations because we didnt feel safe and we were worried about our health but we couldn’t since the owner said no to booking’s inquiry. They tried to fix things after our complaint but they wanted us to spend our free time assisting them for exemple when removing the broken oven - it all should be done before our arrival, not after us reporting it to booking. We paid for a place that looks totally different in the pictures vs real life.

• Vincent (4/5): - It was a good location near Little Havana, which is a great place to explore. A few minutes before my agreed check-in time I was told that my apartment was no longer available due to an issue. However there was no real apology and communication around where my replacement apartment would be was very poor. After an hour of waiting, I finally figured out where the new apartment was (and walked 20 minutes there with my suitcase) only to find two people at the apartment changing the locks of my room. I therefore was waiting in my apartment for 15 minutes while two strangers were there, shoes on etc. who I hadn't been told about in my space, meaning I couldn't get on with my plans and was uncomfortable that the locks were randomly being changed. The new apartment was also not cleaned properly (photos of hairs I found in the bed which were clearly not mine as a short haired blond man) and the AC was very weak and only in the bedroom, making the living/kitchen unusable.

• J (9/5): Great location, would stay here again. Little Havana is a blast. - Location cannot be beat. Just two blocks from the famous Calle Ocho of Little Havana. Very compact unit but immaculately clean, and has what you need to be comfortable. Good air conditioning, comfortable bed, good wifi. The building has a water pressure problem. There was only just enough pressure to be able to take a shower - until someone in the next unit flushed the toilet. But really this wasn't that big of a deal. We both got our showers. Getting the entry instructions from the management company had us quite nervous. We landed in MIA and still didn't have the instructions emailed to us at that point. I had to send another message to get the door lock code. What if our plane had been delayed and we arrived after the management office closed? They should send the code the day before in my opinion.

• Mircea (8/5): Great stay on Little Havana, seeing "Cuban" cigars being rolled up on street shop windows, - Clean and comfortable room, very close to little Havana neighborhood - 5min on foot, close to bus station - max 15 min by bus to Miami downtown The street was dirty and littered with mattresses and arm chairs left on the side walk. The property had three chain-link gates which were almost every time left open by the other tenants - kind of inviting passerby to get into. Nothing happened, but a bit unnerving overall. Also, no oil, vinegar, salt, pepper or coffee provided

They ask for a security deposit of $100 to get the code number for the door and tell you that they are going to reimburse you the money as soon as you check out. However, after 1 week I have not receive the security deposit and they don't reply to my messages anymore. I consider this a robbery!!

• Kathleen (4/5): Great location but keep your expectations low for everything else. - The location was perfect, just a few blocks from many of Little Havana's top sites. The apartment was fairly quiet and shaded by trees. Communication with hosts was challenging: most listed phone numbers not working. They never got any of my messages via booking.com. Check-in took a long time with lots of confusion. It wasn't just me; the next day another couple trying to check-in had been stymied for hours and I stepped in to help since I had just been through the same thing. When making the reservation, I specifically indicated my family was 2 adults and 1 child, but we were only given 2 of most things (towels, bowls, etc.) even though the listing said for 4 guests. My request for an extra towel was never responded to. The apartment wasn't clean: the floor was filthy and there was a build-up of previous guests' hair around the bathroom sink and in all the corners. The towels were stained with holes. One of the blinds didn't fully close so the neighbours could see in at night. The oven door had been ripped off.

The instructions were detailed and easy to follow. The neighborhood was calm/quiet. I had no problem parking behind the building. I could hear airplanes at times which surprised me because I forgot that we weren't that far from the airport, but it didn't bother me. I had no complaints.All was as advertised.
