• karina (1/5): ど素人が経営するプロフェッショナルのいない無責任極まりない宿 - 長期旅行者にとって洗濯が可能なところ 部屋のエアコンが壊れており、熱中症になり次の日は体調不良で痙攣を起こし、夕方まで起き上がることが出来ず、おかげで1週間の滞在中は食事をすると嘔吐するなどの後遺症ので苦しみ、帰国後も1ヶ月程体調が戻らず寝込みました。 部屋のアメニティーは中身が空で、タオルなども毎日用意されないなど、古いタオルを使いまわして使用していました。清掃も一度も無く、ゴミの回収も有りません。タオルなどの毎日使用するものは、疲れて帰ってきているにも拘らず、いちいち毎回メールで催促しても用意されず、届くのは夜遅く寝ているところをドアをノックされて起こされるなど、前もって用意されたのは、初日しかありませんでした。4階の部屋には虫がはっており、殺虫剤が必要なことも伝えました。この宿はど素人が経営している、なんの教育も受けていない、無責任極まりない宿で、お客の様の身体に重大な障害を与えておきながら、気に入らないなら、残りのお金は返金してやるから出て行け、二度と来るななどと、全く反省しないどころか、客を客とも思っておらず、部屋を貸してやっているんだというエアビー登録宿特有の傲慢な態度でした。帰国後カスタマーセンターに連絡しましたが、宿からの応答は得られなかったとかで、損害賠償に対する責任についても返答が無いとの回答だそうです。旅行を台無しにしたくなければ、やはりエアビー登録宿は避けて、プロフェッショナルなサービスを提供しているホテルへの滞在が賢明だと感じました。

Rapport qualité prix imbattable!!! Pas d’ascenseur et un tout petit peu excentré, mais je recommande vivement quoi qu’il en soit vraiment, vous ne serez pas déçus!!

• Naomi (8/5): - We loved the warm care of the co host who lived below. She took good care of us when one of us got sick. This made our stay. The room had plenty of space. And the location suited us well. The small alley to access was clean and neighbours friendly. The bath and shower were great. It's suited us, but others may want to know it is not as up market as pictures show. Our room has paint coming off the wall and 2 colours . It would benefit from a re paint. The sofa bed was ok as a couch but was a 15 cm foam mattress so likely to not be too comfy to sleep on. The kitchen on the balcony is shared with the other apartments with little room in the fridge. The online host was responsive with great English so easy to communicate with when we needed to ask for things to be looked at if they were not working.
• justine (4/5): Not great - Good wifi Aircon was ok Nice shared balcony. We stayed 3 nights. At first glance, the apartment looked cosy and clean but was not. Very humid, no ventilation, mouldy and dust a bit everywhere. Toilet paper was mouldy because of the humidity in the bathroom. The street is very loud. We couldn't early check-in (11am) because the room wasn't cleaned. We were allowed to drop our bags, tho. Came back at 2pm to check-in, no difference with before. Room wasn't clean. Why make us wait 3hrs? 😅 Nobody showed us anything. At some point we didn't have any hit water, that's when we notice there was a switch... Communication with the owner was inexistant. I would recommend it, if the owner does a good clean and instal a ventilation system to remove the humidity especially in the bathroom... It's ok for one night, more is complicated for your health...

• Călin (8/5): Great location for a group of 4 - Located right in the heart of Hanoi, minutes away from pretty much anything. The hosts were nice and catered to our needs. It's a very good option for those who want easy access to all of what Hanoi has to offer. The rooms did not match the photos exactly. But they were clean, and the facilities worked. Also, some people might be disturbed by the traffic noise, but that's to be expected given the location.
• Erin (9/5): Good stay 😊 - The room was comfortable and the location is a short walk to the centre. The owner was super kind and welcoming and sent us information on how to find the Homestay. Free washing machine available which was super convenient😊 WiFi was great and there is a really good banh mi spot round the corner. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest. There was a sewage smell when the tap or shower was on and the shower and bath water hardly got hot. Needs a bath mat for the bathroom.
• Charlie (8/5): Very good - The studio is very comfortable and well equiped. Super cosy, with the couch between the bed and the window, creating a small living room area in the studio.. Really closed to Saint Joseph Cathedral on foot. I received very detailed information about how to access the location. It's super chill and really quiet. I'd recommend it ! 2 out of 3 big towels had holes I would have appreciated more pressure with the water in the shower

Communication with the hosts is very easy and they did everything to facilitate my stay despite sometimes late arrivals. The location is very good, it is possible to reach the old town in just 10 minutes on foot. I recommend this address! Nothing.

• Felipe (8/5): Very good - Room was bigger then expected. All was cozy, clean and comfortable. The description/instruction to get the keys were easy and simple. Location is perfect, we are super close to the old quarter. The only part that I didn't like was the payment part. On booking, it is described that we can pay by card, but in fact we can only pay via cash. We arrive late at night, and the woman there refused to received the amount next day in the morning, so we had to look for a place to withdrawal an amount to pay them. So it would be good to have this info updated here, or at least be more flexible with payment. We even had to talk on the phone with another person, with makes me fell lie I was a scammer.

• Ali (1/5): Bad - Nothing First the picture has nothing with the apartment. We booked for 3 person and there is only one bed queen size. I had to sleep 2 nights uncomfortable. And bathroom somehow inside the room. Better to be honest and post real pictures.

My room with bathtub was absolutely amazing and loved the Vietnamese and peaceful vibes that transmitted through its decor. The room is not in the old quarter centre (just 10 minutes on foot) but is on a less noisy and crowded street that makes it more relaxing In general I think there are some aspects that need to be improved: - The apartment is clean but the restroom need constant cleaning and maintenance - The host was absent during my stay. I tried to reach her out through mobile phone, as she recommended, but she has been offline during my full stay. Is important to give the clients a contact number in case of necessity
• Eva (9/5): Superb - - Nice room which feels like a little home in Hanoi. Though the pictures look a bit nicer than the room in real life, it’s still a very good room for this price. - Room has a fridge. - Airconditioning - Warm water. - Most things are walkable. - The bathroom is behind a glass wall with a shower curtain to cover the glass. The curtain isn’t wide enough to cover the entire glass wall and is kind of see through. I was alone so this didn’t matter for me, but if you’re sharing this room it means you can basically see (and hear) each other shower or go to the toilet if you don’t look away. - The water from the showers gets in the room a bit because the glass wall has an opening on the floor. - It’s not very well isolated which means you can hear all the street noises (but I think this kind of adds to the experience of “living in Hanoi”). The sounds of the upstairs neighbours (flushing the toilet, showering, dropping things or even using the stairs) was a bit more annoying sometimes.

We were pleased with both tours we chose - the smell of mold in the room, which could later be felt on the clothes - the corridor leading to the room was disgusting - the photos distort the reality - the room was not very clean - we changed the hotel after two nights

• Mari-ell (7/5): Good location, good aircon. - Lovely staff! Great location, though you have to pass through an uninviting backstreet alleyway, but they even provide a video for reaching the place. They really try their best and are very kind. Free 1 glass bottle of drinking water provided. Good aircon, mini fridge and kettle provided. If you stay only 1 night, it is fine. Room is not very clean (please clean the surfaces, corners and ceilings), the bathroom floor is always wet because water is coming from a drain right next to the toilet. Your feet will be wet when going to the bathroom. They do provide one pair of flipflops. The sink is not in the bathroom. For privacy, curtains have to be always closed so you get no light in the room. There is a kettle but no cups.

• Francesca (8/5): A lovely stay in Hanoi - Spacious and clean apartment. Good wifi & AC if needed. Large & comfy bed. Smart tv with Netflix & others. Very nice hot shower. There is also a cute shared balcony. Centrally located. New & well-maintained facilities. Definitely worth the price! It’s right on the street, so if you look for peace it’s not ideal - it’s Hanoi, it is what it is :) When temperatures drop it gets a bit cold inside (there were 10C degrees outside but there is no heating and the apartment is exposed on 3 sides). Our apartment was located on 4th floor, for others it may be inconvenient.

• Soni (1/5): Not Cozy at all. Horrible - Probably the neighbors who were happy to call the owner to help us with check in. We had to wait for 30 -40 minutes during the check-in. I had booked this property for three nights with pay at property (the only option available). We were approached by the owner immediately with a request to pay booking amount using a different website within 24 hours or the reservation would be cancelled. The next day the owner highlights some technical glitch and that we have to checkout after 2 nights because the property is already booked for the third night. I mean really? We have never had such issues with booking.com in the past. It was no technical glitch and clearly the owner forgot to reserve the booking on other booking app's for our dates. The check-in process and services post check-in are just HORRIBLE. The rooms are not exactly the same as pictures. On Check-in we had to wait for almost 30-45 minutes as there was no one at the counter and we kept texting the owner to which she did not responded. We then had to request neighbors to call the owner which they did. Finally an old lady arrives who does not speak English at all. We were asked to pay complete payment (minus the booking amount already paid) along with refundable "Property damage security". This is before we could even see the rooms. Decembers in Hanoi can be extremely cold. On the day of our check-in the temperature outside was 12 degrees Celsius, & the room had just one extremely thin bed linen. We kept texting the owner to provide us with extra blanket but with no response (until next day almost after 14 hours) . We tried reaching out to the lady at the counter but in vain. We requested neighbors again to call the lady & as it was night - we got no response. That night was just horrible and next day we decided to leave the property despite not getting any refund. This accommodation is fit for people who are looking for casual stays of one day maximum, have patience to bear inconvenience and have ample time and energy to spend on basic processes like Check-in , check-out, asking for extra Lenin, towels etc.
