• Oluwadare (1/5): False facilities description and unsafe apartment - It is located very close to the main road and in the heart of the city Unfortunately, as good as the location is, it is not safe. I stayed one night here, facilities were not as described. I visited during winter, I was surprised to know that the apartment did not have heater. I could not take my bath the next morning because I could not bath with cold water in cold weather. I complained and was told frankly that they do not have heater despite quoting it in the facilities description. The worst experience is that street urchins frequent the apartment. Within 24 hours, they already knew a foreigner lodged there and they were trailing me and even had the audacity to ask about my movement and when I will return. I considered this an infringement on my freedom of movement. I felt unsafe and had to leave after spending just one night out of the 5 nights I booked when someone told me to leave there if I do not want to be robbed. I told the property staff and checked out the afternoon. This matter was escalated to booking.com and my predicament was expressly stated. Till date, the property is yet to refund my remaining unused 4 nights despite leaving as a result of false facilities description and safety concern. If you are a foreigner, do not plan to stay here if staying more than a night. Safety is not guaranteed.

The cockroaches in the kitchen around the food was highly unhygienic! The TV would go blank as soon as we turned it on. People randomly knocking at the door at 2am caused a disturbance when we were asleep.

We didn’t felt unsafe one moment. Compliments for the host. He did everything to help us. The noise from de clubs in the street! For us it was too much and the only reason not to stay here the next time we are in Johannesburg.

Unfortunately, there’s a night club right across the street and the music is super loud. So either you join the party or you will stay awake until 2am.

The owner is thoughtful and responds well to requests. - The room is very spacious, clean, with fast wifi and really comfortable for long stays. It’s right at the center of Maboneng which gives you a variety of places to choose from for meals. Easy to get to through uber or your own transport. Fast wifi, bluetooth speaker to listen to your own music and a Tv with paid subscriptions to watch your favourite shows. The loud music from the clubs across the street

• Godfrey (8/5): My stay in studio apartment at 12 decades quite great - The hotel is clean and in the heart of Maboneng and the positive attitude of the security personnel and guys in the office. There was no housekeeping, please improve on that other than that I am happy.

This was my second booking/ stay and everything is still the same nothing changed. The host is so friendly and welcoming and he understands his guest's requests. There's not to like about that place, yes There's loud music because of the clubs and restaurants on the location but it is expected considering the location in the center of Maboneng.
• Ali (9/5): a nice stay with an exceptional hotel design - the location and staff there was no refuse bin in the toilet and early in the morning some device caused loud nice. but I just in the morning realized that I could put it off. I still don’t know what it was. it looked like a PC motherboard

• Stephen (7/5): value for money. - location good for getting to attractions by Uber. It had an inverter so you could connect to the internet during load shedding and an led lamp. it has security at the entrance. Don’t be put off by the communal areas. it is very noisy at the weekend.

• Jessica (4/5): Don't stay here. - The furnishings Being unable to enter OR exit the building due to high security FINGERPRINT scanners for regular tenants. I've never encountered this in my life. Sometimes there were security guards in the area that would open the door for us but sometimes we had to wait and yell for 10 to 20 minutes before we could get out. Very unsafe...

• Ms (7/5): Pleasant Stay - What you see in the picture is exactly what you get. Loved the inverter that kept the TV & WiFi on during loadshedding. And the host was very lovely, the communication between myself and her/him was consistent from the moment I did the booking. Unfortunately, the bedding had an unpleasant smell. The issue about the location is a bit tricky because - it is a walking distance from the shopping centre (Jewel City) and there's a lot of restaurants and things to do that are within in a walking distance BUT the night clubs that are directly opposite the apartment make it difficult for one to get a peaceful night's rest.

• Tawanda (10/5): Modern apartment and the perfect weekend gateway - Very clean,has everything that you need for a short stay and I mean everything.Proximity to nice restaurants.The apartment is modernly designed and provides Netflix, prime and showmax.Will definitely come back. Can be a bit difficult to sleep after a long day,due to the noise.
