• Mzingaye (1/5): Atrocious Experience - Only the view I would not recommend staying at West Point Executive Suites. My experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. Upon arrival, the apartment was not ready due to a late checkout, which caused unnecessary delays. Once we eventually got into the apartment, there was no WiFi at all despite the apartment advertising backup power. As someone working remotely while away, reliable WiFi was very important to me. The landlady was not helpful and simply stated that the whole building had no WiFi, without offering any alternative solution which was a lie because we asked other tenants in the building and they had WiFi as the building is not supplied by 1 Internet service provider. The apartment itself was far below standard. There were buckets of water inside, visible dust, a dusty stove, dirty chairs, and the kitchen area looked poorly maintained. The pots looked burnt and as though they had been used directly on a fire for years. Inside the cupboards were empty 5-litre bottles just thrown in randomly, and even the glasses looked like mismatched items from an ordinary household cupboard rather than a properly maintained apartment. The closet looked more like a storage space, and the fridge even had missing shelves. One of the bedrooms also had a strong urine smell, which made the apartment feel completely unlivable. I had initially booked for two nights, but the condition of the apartment completely ruined the experience. Trying to get assistance from Booking.com was equally frustrating, with calls constantly dropping and poor customer service overall. After all the inconvenience, the only compensation offered was a R200 voucher, which honestly felt inadequate given the circumstances. The only positive thing about this stay was the view. Other than that, the cleanliness, maintenance, communication, and overall standard of the apartment were very disappointing.

• Mjadu (8/5): All About Money! - Cool and safe place When a cleaner came to tell someone is checking in for our room before our check out date... that was the low blow. She never came to rectify that and left me looking bad to my kids.
• Shamieg (2/5): Westpoint needs to clean up. - I liked the location The day before we booked in they told me my apartment had an issue and moved me. We checked apartment that i booked and there was tenants so they lied. . The apartment i had was dirty. The extractor was sticky. The coffee machine was not there. The toaster was broken and there were cochroaches in kitchen. I complained and they moved me to another apartment 2 days later which in my opinion wqs a downgrade. There we also found cochroaches. It was very dissapointing. Westpoint has really gone down. When i complained she said all apartments were same price. Yet the lounge suite and table and tv was way smaller than what we had. The tuesday evening at 8pm i received an email that my booking was cancelled. I had to run around and make another booking. What if i didnt have extra cash ? I would be in a fix! Management called me next morning and said i cancelled. I inturn send them email that they cancelled. It was very dissapointing and i will never go there again. Even though i have been there many times. Its a real let down and we had to clean out our bags etc coz of infestation.

• albuquerque (5/5): Boa - dos aquecedores nos quartos, da localização e da segurança. Gostei quase de tudo. Mas não consegui ter acesso a canais de televisão. A internet oscila muito. O pessoal da limpeza deve prestar mais atenção na limpeza e retirar do quarto as coisas sujas que foram trocadas. Outro aspecto que me deixou insatisfeito, foi o facto de depois dos dois dias, não terem trocado os lençóis e não terem deixado toalhas. Colocaram as toalhas na máquina e ficamos o dia sem poder tomar banho. Proponho que se mude as cortinas do quarto principal porque estão rasgadas. Que se compre novos pares de lençóis porque os que estavam no quarto principal estavam rasgados.

• Sydney (8/5): Perfecto - The apartment was quite nice and clean. Even the view was so perfect 👌 The pool area closes very early at 1800hrs. We couldn't enjoy our Braai as we were being rushed to leave the place.
• Senele (6/5): Convenient stay, but the apartment definitely needs to be cleaner and more hygienic. - I liked its convenience and that checking in was seamless and communication with the host was flawless I thought the apartment really could do with some deeper cleaning to maintain its appeal; the carpet in the bedroom I was in was dusty in the corner, the lamp on the bedside was also dusty and its stand had grime , the containers in the kitchen that hold the complimentary tea/coffee also had grime and finger marks and need a wash, the bath in the 2nd bathroom also was not cleaned thoroughly so there was scum when we arrived. The blinds on the windows were also very dusty. Whilst the bedding and the other areas were generally clean, it did feel as though we were in a place that does not get thouroughly cleaned. We also could not access the balcony because there were items stored out on it. Friday evening was cold and the air-con was not very warm even at the highest temperature.

Beautiful executive apartment, with marble from wall to ceiling, comfortable mattresses, great kitchen features inclusive of washing machine and dryer, dishwaher.....It was a great touch for hostess Violet to check if we were alright. We had a great experience. I recommend this apartment. Nothing to say.

O apartamento precisa de renovações, e havia diversos objectos espalhados nos armários e poeira em alguns móveis. A varanda estava cheia de objectos largados incluindo uma mesa estragada jogada.

• FANTASIAH (10/5): - A very beautiful and peaceful place, the apartment is AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL, everything you need is there, the pool side, we loved everything about it, and the view OMG!. I definitely recommend! The fact that we had to leave 😂.

Messages and emails to the host, were sent 2 weeks prior to my arrival but unfortunately unanswered.I wish I were informed a day earlier of the key collection instructions, putting my mind more at ease. As I had to contact the host on the day of my arrival whilst being en route to Johannesburg. But she was great, and sent me the information I finally needed.

Everything was sleeck and modern whilst not being tacky. Location was excellent too a long with the views from the balcony. The loud generator during power cuts and early pool deck closure.

• Ali (4/5): Bad sequence of event due to total lack of water and - 147 is a very nice appartment. Well renovated. Will gladly stay in same again. There was no water on the premises which forced me to rent a hotel for the night. And no warnings were received from neither the oremises nor booking.com. Double expenses. It will be fair to have a credit note.

• Averess (8/5): Feedback - The Superior rooms are great, but the Luxury needs an uplift though comfortable There was no water in the area from the day we checked in but not the fault of the apartment. Can the cleaners just be extra about their work as some areas were not touched. Also, try and get behind the dryer and washer at least regularly as it has a stench of dumpness but otherwise generally good.
