Would highly reccomend

Consigliatissimo

- Adam (10/5): Raw and the cooked: a sanctuary in the sky above the fray. - It's a really cozy apt. The area is a bit extra (read: study abroad kids meet tourists), but you're way above it in peace and calm within the textile weave of the city's terracotta rooftops and dawn skys--I'm a New Yorker, so it's nice to have life at the finger ti.ps, but also to shut the door on it as well at this apt. Workable kitchen, markets close by: a win-win. Most of all, it was just cozy, and the a/c was ace. For us, it was very proximal to our needs with easy walks to professional things as well Not much, but note, there is a 4-floor walk-up.
- Courtney (10/5): Amazing stay, would definitely come back! Thank you so much! - Great location.
Very comfortable and has everything you need.
The host was amazing and very helpful - thanks so much! There were a lot of stairs to get to the apartment.
Church bells were very loud in the morning but likely not a problem if you get up early!
However these were only small things and not the fault of the host 😊

- Elide (9/5): A wonderfully comfortable and welcomed stay - Had a great experience with Mattia’s Penthouse in Trastevere. Roberto
was very accommodating, allowing us an early check-in and a later check out
A spacious clean apartment with all the amenities
The location was perfect in one of the best neighbourhoods in Rome, close to restaurants, shops, transport, also walkable to many main sites. Loved the view.
Just be prepared to do 3 flights of stairs (which at the end it is worth it)

- Kaplan (10/5): - Всё очень понравилось,
Апартаменты супер,

Мы остались довольны. Нет
- Lisa (10/5): Highly recommend this property! We would definitely stay here again! - Fantastic location, clean, beautiful property that had everything we could ask for. Host went above and beyond and sent us information on where to eat, shop. He also answered my many questions and was very kind. There was absolutely nothing we didn’t like
- Antoni (9/5): We had a lovely time and would gladly stay at Mattia’s again. - Centrally located, very comfortable, felt like a home Too many steps to get to the room! Haha not that big of a negative but still a bit daunting after walking in Rome for hours.
- Ethan (10/5): Lovely stay - Great location close to many restaurants and shops, walkable to main sites. Place was clean, comfortable, and great communication from host, Roberto. He provided many suggestions on where to go and eat. Wonderful stay!
- Justyna (10/5): Exceptional - Very good contact with the host. Nice, spacious, comfortable and clean apartment. A few coffee capsules waiting for us upon arrival was a nice touch. Location is a key factor- walkable distance to both historical centre and Vatican city. Well, we like walking too :)
All was great. I can definitely recommend. The tiniest thing is probably a bit noisy street, but around midnight/ 1 am, it gets calmer. I believe this is everywhere in the city centre and in the end I would not chose different location. Many hotels in the city centre had similar comments.
It helps that the apartment is located on the 3rd floor.
- Constantin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Igor (10/5): A lovely apartment - A great apartment in the heart of Trastevere, well equipped, with everything we needed for a week long stay with a baby. Extra comfy beds, full kitchen, fast internet, nice view - we really enjoyed our stay!
Our host Roberto was really nice, allowed us for an early check in and provided detailed instructions and suggestions!
Location was perfect - a lot of restaurants nearby, and the city center is 10-15 minutes of walk. Be ready for the stairs - it's 3 floors, but it's 76 steps up to the top. Stairs are wide enough for carrying suitcases and strollers.
- Vincent (9/5): Superb - Great apartment in a fabulous location, middle of nightlife in Trastevere yet very quite inside
Walking distance over the bridge to many of the sites
- Denys (10/5): Exceptional -
- Louise (9/5): Superb - Well equipped, comfortable and convenient. Ideal for a short break in Rome. The guidebooks were a thoughtful touch and we made use of them. Very helpful host.
- Aswin (10/5): A spacious and quiet apartment in the heart of Trastevere. - The location is absolutely perfect, situated right in the heart of Trastevere, yet it's wonderfully quiet at night. The apartment is spacious, allowing you to spread out and unpack comfortably. Having a fully equipped kitchen is a fantastic perk, especially if you prefer preparing your own meals during your stay. The host is outstanding; we followed their dining recommendations and enjoyed some of the best meals of our entire trip to Italy. Nothing I can think of. Maybe the part that at some point you have to go home ;)
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional - Loved the view over the terraces. The location couldn’t have been better. Roberto was very contactable and was a kind and thoughtful host! He was fantastic and I felt looked after. Nothing.
- Madina (10/5): Exceptional - Very beautiful and authentic place. The best location for food travel. cozy and comfortable apartment.
- Pili (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (10/5): We loved our stay - The locattion of the property was the best.... we probably didn't appreciate how good until we left... Such a beautiful area, I would highly recommend for a trip to Rome...

- Z. (10/5): Wonderful stay in Trastevere - Beautiful, comfortable oasis after a busy day of sightseeing in Rome. Very comfortable beds. Quiet, considering you're in a busy tourist district, Trastevere. Centrally located so we walked everywhere. Lovely host. This place made our trip really special. N/a
- Rosemarie (9/5): Superb - Nice and comfortable appartement, good location. Close to the place in Trastevere where we lived for a year end of the seventies. Adequate instructions for entering building and appartement Offered taxiservice to/fro Fiumicino on agreed time and comfortable.
Suggestion for much more comfort:😉:
add 2 comfortable chairs or a better sofa bed. The present sofa bed is not really comfortable as a sofa! 👍
- Roric (9/5): Superb -
- Susan (10/5): Great place, lovely hosts and lively, well located area. - Photos accurately reflect this delightful rooftop property. There’s also a small kitchen and bathroom. Good cross ventilation and sound proofing. Welcoming, knowledgeable and responsive hosts. Nothing we loved it!
- Matt (10/5): Adorable apartment, great view, unbeatable location. - The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Trastevere without being too noisy at night. The apartment has lots of space to spread out and unpack and having a full kitchen is a huge bonus in case you want to prepare food for the day. The host is also amazing, we ate based off of their recommendations and had some of the best food of our entire trip to Italy Be sure to take quick showers as the hot water tank is very small and doesn't refill particularly fast.
- Alexander (10/5): Exceptional - We’ve had an excellent stay, hosts are super helpful and the apartment is well-equipped, clean and quiet 🧡
- Giedre (10/5): Super cozy and authentic apartment in the heart of charming and bohemic Trastevere neighborhood. - Super cozy and authentic apartment in the heart of charming and bohemic Trastevere neighborhood with a lot of bars and restaurants. Just a short walk from all the main attractions of Rome.
The apartment is very clean and has everything you need for a short stay. Beds are very comfy and we had fabulous rest after exploring the sights in Rome😊
Hosts were especially friendly and easy to reach. We were warmly surprised by complimentary prosecco and possibility to check out slightly later 😊
Would surely stay here the next visit to Rome.
- Sarah (10/5): Stay in the heart of Trastevere, a lively area full of character. The apartment has everything you need. - The location was perfect, close to all bars and restaurants and only a walk over the river to Ancient Rome. Would highly recommend and would stay again. Roberto was super Friendly and pointed us in the right direction for everything. He also recommended some great places to eat.
- Judy (10/5): Exceptional -

- Ian (10/5): Beautiful and quaint in the center of a lively neighborhood. - Beautiful and quaint in the center of a great neighborhood.
- Aldemar (10/5): Amazing - Very clean, well located and comfortable.
Host is very attentive and nice! Nothing
- Anonymous (9/5): Absolutely wonderful with fantastic attention to detail and care! - Location was fantastic and the facilities and the host’s attention to detail are to be highly recommended There is only one small consideration connected with this location. There are 3 flights of stairs but if mobility not an issue, then I highly recommend this property! Really just perfect!
- Matt (8/5): Very good - Location. Location. Location. We wanted to be in the heart of Trastevere but still close enough to the historic sites, we achieved both with this wonderful apartment. Being in the heart of it all, late night revellers on the street can at times forget about weary tourists trying to get over jetlag, but hey, it was more jealousy than frustration ;)
- Nicole (9/5): Superb - Lovely apartment in the heart of Rome. Perfect for all travellers. 10/10 would recommend.
- Patricia (10/5): We loved our stay at Mattias. Roberto our host was extremely helpful. - Excellent location for restaurants, shopping, laundry, supermarket, local bus or train and all ROME SITES within walking distance. Very friendly helpful communication with host. We stayed 4 nights mid May and we Highly recommend this apartment .
- Megan (10/5): a wonderful place to stay in a great location with a friendly host - the apartment has real charm, it is light and airy, looking over the lively piazza below. Andreas, our host, was particularly helpful with lots of information of local places to eat and visit; he organised a driver to take us to the airport, and he was very friendly. thank you very much. nothing
- Anca (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ignas (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was very good, the support from the host was exceptional.
- Dudy (10/5): Exceptional - everything!
the location is the absolute best in rome!
we were offered personalized transports to and from the airport.
the place was clean, beautiful, organized.
they were always available to us.
100/100
- Nurhayati (10/5): Excellent location and wonderful hosts - Roberto and Andrea were very good communicators. They arranged for an airport transfer and our driver Fabrizio was prompt and welcoming. Our hosts were very organised and prepared the sofabed before our arrival and had the heating on :) they also left a gift which was a generous touch and much appreciated.
The heating and TV and shower all worked properly. We looked forward to returning to the apartment after walking 22km all over Rome ;)
The location is the best selling point here. We 100% recommend this place for foodies especially. The sound of the church bells is rather persistent as is the rubbish truck but we found our earplugs helped a little. The neighbour's dog was very vocal each time we got back to the apartment.
- Uilleam (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful, cosy flat in a great area of Rome. You can walk to most places of interest from here quite easily, though the district itself is also really nice, full of restaurants, bars lovely streets and squares. The flat is comfortable and charming with all you need for a few days' holiday. It's pretty quiet and there are lovely views. Andrea was super friendly and helpful when we arrived, with lots of recommendations. Would definitely stay here again!
- Leena (10/5): Amazing! A real gem in Trastevere! - This apartment did not just meet our expectations, it exceeded them! Simply amazing, a place full of thoughtful details, amazing decor - and the views that are simply magnificient! Checking in and out was extremely simple. Even though the apartment is in the heart of Trastevere and surrounded by so many restaurants,it was amazingly quiet at night - the windows and walls kept all the noise outside.
We really liked everything about this apartment. I would recommend it to absolutely anyone, but from our experience I have to stay that the location was particularly great with a child. After long days of walking it felt so lovely to be able to just go downstairs and to any of the good restaurants - with a kid it might have been to much to search for a good restaurant any further.
Another super tip - if you are arriving to Fiumicino airport, there are great & direct bus connections to Trastevere railway station from this apartment. You can take a direct and a pretty fast train connection to Fiumicino from the Trastevere station. This will save you all the hustle of going around the Termini station. Nothing! The best price-quality ratio I have personally ever experienced! We were really impressed.
- R. (10/5): Charming apartment in a perfect location, wonderful hosts - Perfect location - charming neighborhood with a variety of dining options and walking distance to many attractions. The hosts did a great job preparing the apartment (lots of thoughtful touches like an in-unit laundry machine and drying rack, extra umbrellas, international plug adapter, well-equipped kitchen), provided recommendations for my stay, and were very responsive to all my questions. My flight into Rome was delayed repeatedly, so my arrival time kept changing, but the host kept in touch with me throughout for a smooth check-in process. Can't think of anything to be improved
- William (10/5): Fantastic spot to explore from and relax in the evening! - Couldn’t have picked a better spot to explore Rome from! Great neighborhood, restaurants, attractions. The steps are a little tiring (76) especially after walking miles around Rome but, we’ll worth it for the views.
- Jbri98 (10/5): Exceptional - Location it was amazing, even if it’s in trastestevere it is very quiet and very spacious perfect for a family of 4 and couples. nothing
- Greg (8/5): Great location. - Location and quaintness of property. Responsiveness of owners. Check in was difficult and unclear given no personal interaction. No local tips or information. Bed was cramped.
- Artur (8/5): Cozy spot in the best place in town - Really nice and hearty flat in Trastevere.
You feel very comfortable and cozy although it is just a generous open space, and we were three.
It is very clean with the essential amenities needed, lovely Rome sun light, and a cool view.
You do not get street noise and you are in the middle of it.
Communication with the host was made thru Whats app and it was fast and thoughtful. Although I knew it, the host should put 1 bedroom with sofabed instead of 2 rooms.
I guess the flat gets lots of not so good reviews because of that description. And it deserves more because it is extremely comfortable.
- Ron (8/5): Very good -
- Ricky (6/5): A studio apartment - It's advertised as a one bedroom apartment.
It is not. It's a studio flat.
It's advertised as having
One queen bed and one full bed in the bedroom. One sofa bed in the living room. It has only a queen bed and sofa bed, in the living room. There is no bedroom.
That aside, my family enjoyed the location and stay and Roberto was very helpful in providing places to eat locally
