• Betty (7/5): The unit was lovely, however, there were the issues upon arrival. - The apartment itself was very well appointed and in a good location. We did a lot of walking and it was convenient. It wasn’t so much the property as it was the fact that it wasn’t prepared for us when we arrived. It was a 2 bed unit. 1 bedroom and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was not made up and we couldn’t find any sheets. We are 2 friends traveling together and we ended up having to share a bed the first night. We alerted the host the next morning and cleaners came to make up the bed. The issue was when we first arrived after a very long day, to find that the key was not in lockbox. We called Daniela and she agreed to call someone who had the key. We then had the wait until the cleaner came to bring the key. Apparently, they had inadvertently taken it with them. We didn’t get off to a good start.

• John (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location, as the proximity to the Vatican is hard to beat. Very comfortable beds. Apartment was clean and showers worked very well. Overall, it was an excellent stay.

• Richard (7/5): stayed 2 weeks - would have asked for more linens but found under the bed ( lift the bed up and there were more ) nice ! - Bed was comfy Full kitchen - washing machine, refrigerator, dishwasher. New bathrooms. Couch converts to a Murphy bed but was super uncomfortable if you watch TV or try to read. We are in our 60’s. Younger travels wouldn’t probably care. No paper products for the kitchen sink we bought these and used them a lot. If you cook utensil’s like a spatula are limited.

• Pei (8/5): Very good - Beds and pillows are really comfortable . Good location to reach bus stop and Vatican City and there are many options of restaurants and grocery shops nearby. Whole apartment is clean and organized. 1. the noise of main entrance door day and night open and close due to the bedroom is just beside the main entrance door 2. the dining table not stable, not balance, so it’s unpleasant when we were having meals at the table 3. the shower water pressure of bedroom is not steady, when we were using two showers at the same time, the water pressure became weaker even no water came out

• Ernest (9/5): Fantastic stay right next to the Vatican! - Everything about the property was perfect. We had a wonderful stay. The host was also wonderful and assisted and sorted our everything very quickly. The only one small issue sometimes concerned the water pressure. When showering the water pressure sometimes declined to a trickle.
• Barryepstein (10/5): Once in a lifetime - First, that Daniela spoke English and we communicated with What'sApp. Secondly, she had a good sense of humor !! Instructions she sent for the key pickup were explicit and clear... including photographs. Having two bathrooms was a real value for me and my wife. WiFi was easy to setup. The coffee maker took me a little while to figure out :-) The location, across the street from the back of the Vatican, allowed us to view the Pope returning from the hospital ! All in all, a very nice property with attention to detail in a good location.

• C. (10/5): Lovely apartment in Rome and a great host - La Vaticana is a lovely apartment right next to the walls of the Vatican City. Great location close to St Peters Square. The apartment has 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms, and is well appointed with all you could need for a short stay. Although we never met our host, Daniela, she kept in touch by WhatsApp making sure we got in to the property ok, and even apologising for the rain in Rome! Not much - slight problem with water pressure in the showers on our first day but it cleared up after that. The front door and window look out onto a police / army type post as there is an entrance to the Vatican across the road and it was a bit disconcerting to see armed guards when opening the curtains but that did not really bother us at all
• Boyle (8/5): Very good stay very well located we were warm and comfortable when weather was wet and cold. - Ate breakfast at local cafe short walk which ws very good. Little things like cloth to wash dishes and tea towel to dry dishes not supplied really needed to keep the apartment clean. The key safe was very difficult to open thought we had the wrong code, even other people tried from another apartment then it just opened. Once had keys doors opened fine. Not sure why score is shown below as 8 as were woudl give it 9
