• Hana (4/5): Nice stay during day, nightmare during night - It is nice, old style Italian flat, however you have to be slim and fit to enjoy it. The bathroom is tiny and stairs very steep. The bar uder the flat is crazy, you simply can not sleep until 3-4 in the morning. So if you book during May-September go somewhere else, we had to move last night as it was not possible. Otherwise the flat is located in a great spot but the bar is killing it.

L'emplacement au dessus d'une place très animée,fréquentée par des fêtards faisant du bruit jusqu'à tard dans la nuit( 3h du matin)...puis camions de nettoyage et de récupération du verre ..! Impossible de dormir !!
• Artem (1/5): - They cancelled our booking on the same day we arrived in Rome. We only found out about the cancellation through an email after we were already on our way to the apartment. They offered us no alternative or support, and finding another good place for the same price — or even something similar — on such short notice was almost impossible. We are extremely disappointed with this service and hope that other travelers will not face the same situation. I would strongly recommend avoiding this rental. As for getting compensation back, only God knows how. And who will cover all cost difference for us?

Someone with long legs cannot use the WC. Extremely loud throughout the night. Is above a bar probably , it was full of people partying till 4am.

• Mara (1/5): 0 - Nur die Lage Die Wohnung war nicht pünktlich fertig. Wir warteten davor, da der Schlüssel nicht zum vorgesehenen Ort passte. Wir riefen an, und die Reinigungskraft kam und öffnete die Tür. Die Wohnung war nicht von den vorherigen Gästen gereinigt worden, sodass wir noch eine Stunde warten mussten. Wir hatten Tickets für das Kolosseum gekauft, konnten aber nicht mehr hinein, sodass unsere Tickets ungültig wurden. Obwohl wir für sechs Personen bezahlt hatten, war die Wohnung nur für vier Personen möbliert. Für zwei Personen fehlten Kissen und Decken. Die Möbel sind alt, unbrauchbar und schmutzig. Sie müssten repariert werden, damit die Wohnung vermietbar ist. Die Enttäuschung war riesig. Ich würde niemandem empfehlen, diese Wohnung zu mieten.

Bardzo brzydka kamienica, zlokalizowana w samym centrum knajpek co powodowało, że było bardzo głośno do późnych godzin nocnych. Zdjęcia zupełnie nie oddają jakości miejsca, zamieszczona m.im inna sofa niż na zdjęciach. Łazienka z toaleta tak umieszczona,że nie da się z niej normalnie korzystać.

• Szilvia (10/5): Nagyszerű helyen, nagy szobák. A wc valóban kicsi, de tudtunk együtt élni vele. -
• Cruz cruz (9/5): - Un piso encantador y coqueto con vistas al exterior.La decoración daba un ambiente antiguo muy armonioso. Muy bien situado. A 15 minutos a pie del Coliseum y con el metro de Cavour allí mismo. Zona de terrazas y restaurantes donde comer. Rodeado de edificios antiguos con terrazas y plantas. Muy limpio y una luz excepcional. El baño un poco incømodo pues el wáter y el bidé estaban en una zona muy estrecha. Por otro lado la escalera de acceso al apartamento un poco descuidada.

• Belén (7/5): Estancia agradable en Roma. - El apartamento estaba muy limpio y con todo lo necesario para una agradable estancia. Las camas muy cómodas. Las fotos reflejan 100% la realidad. Muy cerca del Coliseo y de la iglesia donde está la escultura del Moisés. Con muchos sitios para comer o cenar. También cerca de parada de metro. Aquí tengo que mencionar 4 cosas: - La escalera de acceso al apartamento necesita una mano de pintura, da una sensación de sitio descuidado y lúgubre. - La distribución del baño, muy angosta la zona del bidé e inodoro. Techo bajo en esa parte y un pasillo muy estrecho. Incómodo para gente alta. - Estando el apartamento ocupado, el personal de la lavandería no debería intentar acceder a él a las 9:00. Menudo susto nos dieron. - Lo peor el ruido por la noche, cerca hay un bar de copas, con mucho éxito por cierto, que mantiene a la gente en la placita hasta altas horas de la madrugada. Si quieres ir de marcha está genial pero para familias que quieren hacer turismo y después descansar, no es el mejor alojamiento. Deberían invertir en cambiar las ventanas para mejorar el aislamiento.

Byt je umístěn nad barem, kde je v noci velmi rušno, takže v noci se nedalo moc spát, když už jsme konečně usnuli, začali jezdit popeláři, kteří jezdí každý den, takže od brzkých ranních hodin jste zase vzhůru :-(

• Reene (10/5): Lovely stay full Italian vibe :) - Perfect location in Rome central part. Spacious & sunny apartment in a historic building. Loved the high ceilings & rustic look :) Easy to access, good host. Everything in the apartment was just as in the photos. Short walk to Colosseum & Trevi Fountain, various Forums, basilicas and A LOT of old Italian marvels to discover any corner you turn. Very close to Termini central train station, closest metro - Cavour (blue line). Many good bars and restaurants around, our favorite one was Grazie a Dio è venerdi, literally next door over the street. Amazing pizza (thinnest dough & melts in your mouth) and cocktails for more sophisticated taste. PS - in case you are a light sleeper - consider that you will live practically in the center or Rome and people like to party outside till quite long hours, and even apartment windows closed - you cant 100% escape the Italian night :). But - we loved the full Italian vibe & would definitely recommend to book this place. PPS. Stairs in the hallway are a bit steep & worn so beware that it may be slippery.

• Rosanna (8/5): Great property in a perfect location - The location of the property is excellent ! Walking distance to all the famous attractions. Very clean and with all the facilities. Close to many bars and restaurants and walking distance to Termini train station. Communication was very good. We were 3 couples so there was plenty of space. Staff were fantastic and accommodating as we needed a late checkout. Very charming property. No elevator - but I guess that is to be expected in a building of this age. 2 flights of stairs. The toilet area in the bathroom is very narrow. There is an open bar right downstairs that has a license to stay open until 4am in the morning, which meant there was a lot of noise and after which the garbage collectors came, making their own loud noises.

• Carlos Manuel (9/5): Bonito alojamiento cerca del centro - Sobre todo la ubicación. Es un barrio muy bonito y al lado del centro. Ideal para patearse Roma Está justo encima de una plaza con mucho ambiente nocturno, por lo que si te cuesta dormir, puede ser complicado. Nosotros con tapones lo solucionamos.

Troppo rumore tutte le notti - Bella la posizione e il fatto di soggiornare in uno stabile d'epoca con dei meravigliosi soffitti a cassettoni. Spaziosi gli spazi a disposizione, tranne il bagno con i sanitari non troppo comodi perchè situati in uno spazio molto piccolo. Troppo rumoroso, il caos dei locali sottostanti è una costante tutte le sere e gli infissi sono molto datati e quindi poco insonorizzati. Avevamo tutti ricevuto dei tappi per le orecchie, ma non sono sufficienti. Al nostro arrivo ho cercato di contattare, senza successo, l'host per comunicare un mal funzionamento dello scarico del water e della TV.

• alena (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay! The apartment is in a fantastic location—just about 15 minutes from both the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain, which made exploring Rome so easy. Communication with the host was smooth and quick, and the keyless entry was super convenient. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you might need—from shampoo and coffee to sugar and utensils—which made it feel like home. Also, don’t miss “Pizza Trieste” nearby; it’s truly a must-try and the best pizza I’ve ever had. Highly recommend this place for a comfortable and authentic Roman stay! Like reviewers mentioned below, there is a restaurant right underneath your apartment and gets very busy at night. We used earplugs and were ok. The bathroom is small but it didnt bother us much

They provide earplugs but not enough . They should change the windows to isolate the noise. I won’t go there anymore

No me gustó que había mucho ruido en las noches Porque abajo está un bar y los muchachos jóvenes se reúnen todas las noches y los primeros 2 días no puede dormir . Si hubiera algo que yo cambiaría sería la forma del cómo organizaron el baño porque uno se sienta en el servicio y pega las rodillas en la pared .
• György (9/5): Csodálatos hely Róma szívében - Nagyon jó helyen van, könnyen megközelíthető, pár percre a metró-tól. A környéken számos étterem található. A látnivalók jelentős része kényelmes sétával elérhető, a többire pedig ott a tömegközlekedés. Az ágyak kényelmesek, még kihúzható kanapé is. A ház alatti alatti fagylaltozó, ahol italokat is lehet kapni, estére sok embert vonz. Hangosak, de az ablakok és a falak jól szűrik a hangot. Nem zavaró, inkább ad egy kis római hangulatot. :) A tisztaság kicsit lehetett volna magasabb, de alapvetően rendben volt.

• Stevan (9/5): Great apartment in the historic heart of Rome - The apartment is within walking distance of the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Piazza Venezia, Santa Maria Maggiore, and other famous attractions in the historic Monte neighborhood of Rome. Numerous excellent restaurants and cafés are also nearby. The apartment itself is spacious and clean, and communication with the owner is excellent. Since the apartment is located in an area with many restaurants and cafés, it can sometimes be noisy at night.

There were no blankets on 2 beds, only sheets and bedspreads, which were not clear when they were washed. The sofa bed was without bed linen and pillows. A crowd of people gathered under the windows of the apartment every night. Noise from 6pm until the very morning. It is impossible to sleep! The street noise level in the apartment at night is about 70 dB. Plumbing, markings are in terrible condition. The toilet is not conveniently located. We lived 2 nights and decided to change the place of accommodation , as it is impossible to stay in such conditions. Accommodation in such conditions is not worth this money. It is a pity that there is no function to cancel the reservation at the time of check-in. We would have immediately canceled the reservation in this facility.

• Pavel (8/5): Charming Stay in a Renaissance-Era Building in Rome's Vibrant District - The location is absolutely amazing! I would definitely choose the same street for my next trip to Rome. The Colosseum is just a 7-minute walk away, and all other sights are within easy reach as well. Staying in this old apartment allowed us to truly immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of Renaissance Rome. Despite the issues mentioned in the 'What I Did Not Like' section, I highly recommend this place. I'm also very grateful to our host for stocking an abundance of coffee capsules. It was a small but significant detail that brightened our mood every day. The apartment is spacious enough for two couples. My girlfriend, my parents, and I stayed there comfortably for four nights. Additionally, there are plenty of excellent restaurants and cafes nearby. You literally step out of the building and find yourself at a great cafe or restaurant. Be sure to try the small pizza at Ce Stamo A Pensà. If you're unsure what to order, opt for the 5 Euro tasting menu, which includes a free glass of wine. Beware that staying in old apartments like this one comes with certain discomforts. For instance, you might have to stoop quite low to enter the small bathroom doors, and the limited space might mean your knees touch the opposite wall while seated on the toilet. Additionally, there was a lingering smell of vinegar from the cleaning that I found quite unpleasant. We would have appreciated more toiletries and fresher towels during our stay. Moreover, the apartment is located above a bar that is very popular at night and can be quite noisy until 2 a.m. Although I managed with earplugs, it's worth noting that the building is old and the windows are not soundproof.
• Donald (9/5): Great location, one metro stop from the main train station! - The location was less than 5 minutes from the metro. There were several late night food options very close as well. We didn't hear any noise as others have complained about. We closed the windows, turned on the A/C and slept just fine. We loved how unique the space was with the old beam ceilings as well as the preserved doors. The only thing we didn't like was the small toilet area, but it wasn't that much of an issue.
• Robert (9/5): Great stay in centrally located great neighborhood. - This apartment is located on a lively neighborhood with lots of restaurants, bars and cafes as well as easy access to convenience stores. The Blue line subway station is 5 min walk if that and 1 stop from Rome termini. It is 12 min walk to the colosseum and 15 to Trevi fountain. We loved the rustic authentic nature of the old building with wooden beams and shutters. It was incredibly clean and we loved having a kitchen and washer. The owner was super responsive to my questions. If you have difficulty with steps this is not the place for you, but it did didn’t worry us. Also it is a right squeeze in the toilet area and for my 6ft son and husband it was not the easiest to use. The shower head is clogged and tends to spray water out of the shower. Can tend to be a bit noisy with the restaurant u semester but you are in the hub of city life.

The geographical location is very handy close to the center. The small piazza down the apartment was terribly noisy to 2-3 o'clock in the nights. The apartment is therefore suitable only for young people who want to party the nights.

Never seen anything like this before. Key issues. Opening the door was very difficult. The door has 9 deadbolts. If locked and fire happens this can posses a life or death issue.
• Kristen (8/5): Wonderful stay - The location of the property was excellent. The host allowed us to bring our bags in before check in so that we did not have to carry them around while waiting. It was very noisy at night, between the people gathering at the piazza below until 3:30am and trash trucks collecting glass all night. All of this being said, I was aware of this because of past reviews and we were expecting it. I would suggest when able to, adding better insulated windows will really help.

Noisiness from the street, it was difficult to sleep. We were on February, I don't want to imagine about the noise in summer. Windows should be changed to more hermetic. And low place in the toilet. If you are afraid of small spaces, so it will not be very funny :)

The location is perfect for someone who wants to explore Rome by foot. Kitchen's well equipped. Price/quality ratio is very good. The bathroom's too tight, but then again we're in an old Roman "palazzo", so one shouldn't really complain.

• Diandra (10/5): Beautiful in the heart of Rome - Amazing location and apartment. The ac was perfect for the summer heat. The hosts were easy to reach out to, extremely accommodating, and they helped organize a car pick up from the airport. The apartment had 2 good size bedrooms and one very unique bathroom. We loved it and can't wait to come back to stay again. Nothing to not like but just a caveat: the apartment is located on the 2nd floor so prepare yourself to walk 2 flights of stairs with your luggage. I did not travel light.

• Wendy (7/5): Good - Location is great. Bedrooms are large . Cute bathroom. 3 flights of narrow stairs is a lot with heavy cases but manageable

• Brooks (8/5): Fantastic location for exploring Rome, wonderful Trattoria immediately opposite (Tettarello). - Location, appearance, floor, comfy beds, wooden ceilings, little doors to the bathroom Air con wasn’t the best, the sofa bed was a little tricky to put up

• Gabriela (10/5): is magical place we were in a very special part of Rome - great location! This place is close to colosseum. is a very nice area close to shops and restaurants.
