• Fran (10/5): Charming apartment perfect for families /big groups - We loved everything! From the owner (Carlo) who personally welcomed us explaining everything. The apartment is very charming, we loved how it mixes old traditional roman charm and the comfort of modern facilities. A lot of sightseeing spots are within walking.distance as well as cafes, groceries, gelatos and restaurants. We were 14pax in the family and the apartment felt so comfortable for us. It was perfection in every way Nothing (only that we had to leave already because vacation is over. Lol)

• Rose (9/5): - Great location for first time to Rome. Close to attractions, shops, grocery, restaurants and the hop on/hop off bus. Every bedroom had a bathroom which was great. Hosts were very nice. No living room per se but great for our large group. Could have used a drying rack for clothes and paper towels.

• Gham96 (9/5): - Location was superb! Right in the centre of the city & close to the coliseum & all the other tourist attractions There was plenty of space! Beds were comfy & there was plenty of chairs for all the people staying. Place was very clean & facilities were top notch. Showers & bidets were great. Host was lovely & so was his wee dog Pluto 🐶 There isn't a living room so we had to hang out in the largest bedroom (only inconvenient because we had the full apartment rented out)
• Birtha (10/5): It was one of the very best family reunions I have every experienced. - The location of the property is excellent. Within walking distance to great restaurants, gelato, historical places and great location to enjoy so many of Rome's attributes including the starlings in the evenings. The owner was available to any questions and met us in the middle of the night with the keys to the apartment. We felt a great pride of his ownership and history of our apartment which was felt while staying there. I highly recommend this place for families getting together or groups traveling together.

• patrice (10/5): Ideal pour résider quelques jours en famille même nombreuse au coeur de Rome - Un appartement conçu pour y dormir plus que pour y vivre (beaucoup de chambres, une petite cuisine pas de salle à manger, mais une grande entrée qui a fait office de), très confortable, bien équipé en salles d'eau (5 pour 6 chambres), très propres et surtout en plein centre de Rome, à un jet de pierre de Sainte Marie Majeure et de la gare Termini. Idéal pour se promener dans la ville. les 3 grandes chambres sur la Via Cavour un peu bruyantes, mais c'est normal eu égard à la situation de l'appartement.
• Carolyn Fairbank (8/5): Fantastic location, clean, accommodating, and a helpful host - The apartment is really big and the bedrooms and bathrooms were extremely clean. Four bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and the remaining two bedrooms share a bathroom. It feels like your grandma’s house but in a nice way, the decor and furniture is quite homely, and actually the owner explained that the apartment has been in his family for multiple generations! I actually don’t think the photos do it justice, it felt cool in a vintage way. The location is amazing, historic centre (Colosseum, Forum etc) 15 min walk, Termini station 10min walk. Great for a group. The owner was really accommodating as we were all arriving at different times and he was happy to do check in with those who arrived first which made things easier than waiting for me to arrive as we came into Rome later. He was also responsive on messages. As mentioned by others, there is no living room so we took chairs to the hallway which wasn’t the most chilled area but it was fine. We knew what to expect! The kitchen felt like it needed a good clean and organising, we were washing things up before using them but this is down to the previous occupants not the owner. The towels and particularly bath mats feel dated and scruffy, they’ve had their lifetime and a refresh of these would make it a bit nicer. The plastic back bath mats all felt a bit past their best, to be polite. These are tiny things really for what is overall a really great place to stay in Rome.

• Andrea (9/5): Schönes großes Apartment in Rom in sehr guter Lage - Die Lage ist super, nahe an Roma Termini und zentral in der Stadt. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind innerhalb ca. 10-20 Min. zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Apartment ist sehr geräumig und (fast) jedes Zimmer hat sein eigenes Bad. Alles, was man braucht ist vorhanden. Es gibt einen Fahrstuhl im Haus. Frühstücken kann man in mehreren Bars gleich neben dem Apartment. Auch gute Restaurants sind direkt in der Nachbarschaft. Und eine hervorragende Gelateria gleich auf der anderen Straßenseite. Wir waren zu mehreren Freunden bereits zum zweiten Mal hier und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Nichts.

• Robert (10/5): Great location for a short vacation in Rome, the owned was very quick to respond to any questions. - The location of the apartment is incredible and the apartment itself was fine. Plenty of beds to handle our 12 family vacation!
• Kerry (10/5): Absolutely fantastic! - The apartment was very spacious for the 9 of us. Lovely and cool, lovely sized bedrooms and nice to have bathrooms within the bedrooms. We liked the apartment, but one of the beds was very noisy plus one of the showers wasn’t overly hot so between three of us we had to use another shower from another bedroom.

• Phoelisa (10/5): Everyone in my group seemed very happy with my choice in this apartment. - We liked that we could walk from the train station and then the Colosseum was very close. We walked everywhere but the metro was close by and we used it also. There were 8 of us - plenty of rooms to use for sleeping and congregating at the end of the day. So happy we all had separate bathrooms! Also the air conditioning was delightful!! Some of us used the washing machine and then just laid clothes out to dry on drying racks. We didn't cook anything but used the refrigerator to store some snacks and pastries. Owner gave me a restaurant recommendation when I messaged him during our stay. Towards the end of the week we used the elevator often because we were tired from all the walking we did in Rome. There wasn't anything that we didn't like. It's a busy street outside but we were so tired every night that we didn't hear a lot of road noise.

Squeaky clean facilities in the perfect location really close to the Colosseum and the train station. It would have been lovely to have more dish towels and written instructions about how to use the stovetop, the coffee maker, and the washing machine. But those were very minor things.

• David (10/5): Comfortable accommodations in a good location! - Location is great, close to the train station and Rome's tourist attractions. Other than the Vatican we walked everywhere. Most of the bedrooms had an ensuite bath. There really isn't a common area and the kitchen is quite small but we honestly didn't need it because we spent our evenings in the many good restaurants and cafes in the area. Air conditioning worked well and our host was responsive and helpful!

We did not like that the elevator was not always working. And that we had to walk lots of steps to the second floor. My husband had a very hard problem with the steps. The second floor was really the third floor

The 1st 2 rooms had tiny showers in which a slightly big boned person cannot get in and out easily.Also,no soap(not sure whether it was suppose to be provided).Several things that us Americans were not prepared for,ie lights on a timer,some rooms had USB to charge,not all...All in all,we had alot of laughs and enjoyed our stay after we figured out the various locks... Need a larger sitting area for people to congregate.Not sure if air conditioning was functioning properly.

Very friendly and polite, no problems at all! Bathroom shower is in need of a replacement.

• Nicole (9/5): I would stay here again, it was great for our group of 12, with kids and adults. - It was very well located, easy to walk to popular attractions but not too touristy. Shops and restaurants all close by. No need for a car. Rome Termini Station 10 min walk. Rooms were spacious, lots of bathrooms and nice windows. Great experience. It's a great set up for a group who also want their own space as the bedrooms were big enough to retreat to. The kitchen was small but had everything you'd need to make a simple meal. It had a small washing machine. The bathroom furthest from the hot water system was slow to get hot but the host did explain this. It was however one of four bathrooms so there were plenty of options. Also the water pressure wasn't good in that one bathroom but the others were fine to use if you needed more pressure.

A/C worked great in really hot weather. Coffee maker was great. Good to have access to a washing machine. Location was great and really close to the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. It was very convenient to the train station (5 minute walk). There was no central sitting area where you could assemble as a group to talk. The chairs were not very comfortable. Information about how to separate the garbage and recycling was difficult to find (the different bins were not marked and we only found the information re. separating the garbage just before we left.)

The beds were comfy. we weren't there long enough for it to be a problem, but there isn't a real sitting area, there is a small entrance way with a small table and a few chairs. we made it work and were very happy with the bedroom/bathrooms.

Apartment suitable for a large or extended family of 5-10 persons. Favourable quality/price ratio and much nicer than staying at a hotel; can definitely be recommended! Poor water distribution in the bathroom of the last bedroom - but 4 bathrooms and showers working well.

• Kate (8/5): Super, roomy, city centre accomodation - Brilliant, central location. Easy to walk to all the key spots and the bonus of a delicious gelateria right opposite. There was so much space in the apartment, all the bedrooms were a good size, most en suite too. Pretty quiet considering we were in the centre of a big city. The air con in the main bedroom didn't really get cool - all the other rooms worked perfectly though.
