- Anna (10/5): Wspaniałe mieszkanie na Trastevere - Mieszkanie położone we wspaniałej lokalizacji. Trastevere to moja ulubiona dzielica Rzymu.

- Lorraine (8/5): Very good - Location. Lack of communication during the last 3 days.
- Dm (8/5): Overall - good, but with some problems - sound insulation the main one. - Relatively good location with public transport not too far and main points of interest throughout the city center reachable by foot, at least for us. Cozy appartment, all equipment as indicated. Few shops and restaurants near by. Enjoyed staying in this part of the city. Airport transfer which was organized for us worked perfectly. Good and efficient communication with hosts. Basically no sound insulation. Everything that goes on in the staircase, it is as if people would be walking past right by you or talking next to you. No surprise here as there was a gap under the door from which light was shining during the night from the staircase. Also no sound insulation to other appartments, could hear people sneeze. And similarily poor sound insulation from outside. Also, it was really cold and we had to use heaters, which, thankfully, worked (poor sound insulation is probably linked with cold in the appartment). Would have been difficult to sleep without ear plugs, because of poor sound insulation, especially on friday night because of people partying, other nights it was less of an issue. Also, sofa bed is not really comfortable and rattles like crazy after any movement. Also, not a fan of taking out my own trash quite far from the appartment, not a fan of this system, but not the fault of the owners.

- Thi (7/5): Decent stay in Trastevere area, spacious apartment with every room separated and lifts for luggage. - The apartment is of great size and very spacious for 2-3 people max. The furniture and facilities are abit older, TV isn’t smart and overall average. The separate kitchen and washing/dryer was appreciated. We liked the building and appreciated there’s a lift for your luggage’s and clear instructions for check in. Shower was at a weird configuration, the drain does not drain properly so you’re standing in water up to your ankles most of the shower time - the hot/cold switch is right where your elbow is so you’ll constantly hit it when moving around the shower. Floorboards were old and maybe abit dirty, my feet felt abit sticky, wished there were house slippers. The bedroom is good size but the bed is very average, the bed covers were not comfortable and the pillows were also flat - it’s ok for a few nights but not great if you’re an uneasy sleeper. The aircon is probably the most annoying thing, super old and loud, it’s at the corner next to the windows and the noise is on all night jf you have it on… we visited when it was a bit cooler so didn’t need it as much but can only imagine during summer heat.
- Sonya (10/5): Great apartment in Trastevere - Our family of 4 had a great stay! The neighborhood is fantastic (lots of restaurants and easy public transit access) and the apartment is beautiful and very functional. Our hosts were helpful with check-in and very responsive to any questions we had. The drain in the shower was pretty slow, but that wasn't a huge issue for us.

- Debi (8/5): If we are back to Rome again, then would look forward to stay in Ttretevere again. - This property has an excellent location especially the Trastevere area is good for families with all facilities close by. The property can easily accommodate 4 pax quite clean and spacious. We had some minor issue with the AC leakage. The property maintenance team did a prompt service. Which was appreciated. Would be good to have some breakfast added with the room package.
Proving the iron board. While iron is there in any case.
- Claire (7/5): Great location, easy interaction and great service and communication from owner - Loved the location, right in the heart of Trastevere which is a hub of bars , restaurants, local independent shops and markets, a place where you can feel like a real local. The sofa bed was ok for sleeping but not as comfortable for sitting/lounging.
The dining table and chairs were very small (appreciate it is a small apartment) so good to have an option to sit and eat but surface design wasn’t practical for placing glasses and plates.
Again, this is personal preference and May suit travellers that are not spending much time in the apartment.
- Jennings (4/5): Not great - won't be staying again - Location Apartment smelled like sewer, shower water didn't drain so you stood in grey water, small place, a/c leaked, hardly any amenities - hand soap ran out, very little toilet paper, not enough coffee for stay.
- Edith (10/5): Exceptional - The location was great - a quiet street but very close to a vibrant neighbourhood with lots of restaurants and cafes. Good transport connections but within walking distance of sights.
The hosts were really helpful. We had a minor plumbing problem which was dealt with very quickly and professionally.
We really enjoyed our stay!
- Elizabeth (9/5): Superb -
- Carolyn (10/5): Second stay here and we'll definitely return when in Rome! - A charming, updated and well-appointed apartment with a washing machine; modern and very functional bathroom (with good plumbing!); excellent location; friendly and responsive hosts; fair price; a small elevator for those who can't climb stairs or at least for use in getting your luggage upstairs. This was our second stay at Boutique Domus Trastevere Bertani and we will be back!
- Jodi (8/5): Comfortable place in good location. Great hosts. - Great location in rome. Very helpful owners arranging transfers etc It is in a central area in city- Apartment is near restaurant and square so street noise meaning keep windows closed and needed aircon on at night however aircon is super loud. Newer aircon or some fans would be much nicer.
- Ross (9/5): Superb -
- Mckay (8/5): Would stay here again highly recommend, proprietors are very helpful & attentive - It is bigger than appears in the photos, bathroom & kitchen are generous as well as the living space.
Position was excellent too, do close to fabulous French bakery Le Levian & the Piazza di San Cosimato with fresh fruit & vegetable market everyday except Sunday. Also a fresh fish store, enoteca, plus Otaleg the best gelato in Rome! So many restaurants & bars at your doorstep, the night life in Trastevere is amazing! A little cluttered, no room in the wardrobe draws to unpack as was full of blankets & coat hangers. Floor was not clean either
- Wendy (10/5): wonderful experience with my family - Great location in an exceptional part of Roma! Had enough space for 4 and was clean and nice inside, air was nice had big windows! Very quick to respond Just Lovely! nothing to say
- Lisa (10/5): fantastic base to explore Rome and sample some amazing food. - The property has everything you would need for a stay in Rome. You are approximately a 30 minute walk from all the main tourist attractions and Trastevere is a vibrant location to stay with countless good restaurants. The hosts are extremely friendly and answer any queries quickly and helpfully. No complaints
- Phillip (8/5): location, location, location. can’t get much better - location is perfect, we walked to all main attractions Having to remove your rubbish before you go rather than the cleaner taking it away
- Maggie (9/5): Superb -
- Maheen (9/5): Superb -
- James (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephane (10/5): Exceptional - Newly refurbished appartment at the edge of the Trastevere lively district, i.e. you get some calm after or before a lively day, while staying close to the life of Rome. Trastevere is full of local gems to explore for visitors, and at the same time you can feel some locals are actually living in the city. Would definitely recommend it. Staff is nice and well organised, had no issue whatsoever. There is a nice bakery (Le Levain) around the block and grocery stores a few steps away. Great place! A little small for 4 adults, but great for a family.
- Stephen (6/5): It was ok - Having a decent sized living room and bedroom Shower did not drain, plus so small kept bumping the controller and water went cold/hot. Did not like having to walk 1 1/2 blocks to empty trash. Elevator very tiny. Refrigerator did not get very cold
- Elka (10/5): Top apartment in Trastevere - Thanks to the hosts for the warm welcome! The apartment is in a perfect location, very clean and comfortable. It has all the amenities and is close to many restaurants and bars in Trastevere. Top location. Thank you very much! Everything was perfect :)
- Łukasz (10/5): perfect apartment for few days - really well equipped, comfortable apartment. Really clean. Close to bus stop. Shop 2 minutes, restaurants as well. Really safe neighbourhood doors to the flat does not reduce the noise from corridor as well might be expected
- Rex (9/5): Enjoyable stay in a great neighbourhood of Rome. - Ideal location plus a nice property. nothing really
- Lucy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christopher (8/5): A comfortable apartment in a great location in Trastevere. - Nice renovated apartment in a great location, close to one of the main markets in Trastevere, with a superb patisserie around the corner.
We were greeted at the apartment by our host who showed us the ropes.
The lift was a welcome relief in the heat of a Roman summer. Kitchen facilities and basics were a little sparse - no longlife milk, for example.
Travellers should be aware that Trastevere is a bit isolated, with no metro, although there is a somewhat impenetrable tram and bus network serving the area.
