We were told to come back at 3 and the apartment was cleaned well and ready for us. We loved the location! Out of all the places we stayed in Italy, this apartment had the most comfortable beds! It is very spacious and we loved having the large sitting area to hang out in the evening. We really enjoyed out time here! Great place to stay and visit Rome! Sadly there was construction directly outside of our balcony so it was noisy but no fault of the host. Construction happens and you can’t control it. Wasn’t an issue at night.

• Dennis (8/5): - Beautiful, spacious, tastefully-furnished apartment located in a safe, residential area next to Piazza Cavour, a short-walk from the historic centre of Rome (but much less busy), with easy transport options connecting to the rest of the city. Comfortably accommodated our family of 4 (with two adult children). Security is great with both keys and passcode locks for the building and apartment. Large bedrooms, good-size kitchen with Nespresso coffee machine, modern bathrooms and particularly fluffy Time Roma towels, which is always a nice touch. Lots of good cafes and restaurants nearby and supermarkets (Carrefour Express is the pick). Giulia was also a helpful and responsive host, which we appreciated (she quickly accommodated our changed check-in time when our plane to Rome was delayed two hours). A few small quibbles: there’s a laundry room but no washing machine - looks like there was one in the past but it hasn’t been replaced. Not a deal breaker, as there’s a self-service laundromat 50m away, but it’s a shame for such a great apartment not to have one for convenience. Also, no air conditioning in the main living/dining room. There are two units in the bedrooms, but they struggled to cool the whole unit. Unusually, they’re also located close to the floor and one blows right onto a bed, making it impossible to sleep with it on, which we would have liked to do as we were there during the during the extremely hot and humid Roman summer.
• Paul (10/5): Our first air bnb adventure and it went very smoothly - A delightful apartment in a quintessential Italian block with vintage elevator, a/c was excellent, apartment was very spacious, excellent location and easily walkable to all of the major sites, metro line close by, shops and restaurants all on the doorstep Noise at night was sometimes an issue but we were in a built area and the double glazing worked well

We waited for more than an hour to get the keys to the apartment. The elevator was not working at the time of check in.

• Wendy (10/5): Wonderful stay in a spacious and beautiful apartment minutes away from the Historic Centre of Rome. - Giulia was an excellent host and helped us by storing luggage and receiving deliveries before we arrived. This was outstanding service and we cannot thank her enough for her generosity and willingness to help. We stayed for 13 nights and can highly recommend this apartment. It is spacious and beautifully furnished, with everything you would need for a short or long stay. The location is perfect as you are in a quiet, upmarket residential area but a short walk away from the Historic Centre and all of the activity. There are many restaurants and shops on the doorstep of the property. We highly recommend this property and would love to stay here again. When we booked it was advertised as having a washing machine, which we would need for the length of our stay. Unfortunately, there was no washing machine when we arrived but Giulia found a solution for us.
• Missy (10/5): Just an outstanding property but a bit further from the heart of Rome. - This apartment is absolutely beautiful. Everything about it is lovely. The bathrooms are modern, one larger that the other but both are exceptional. A very quiet neighborhood. The apartment is in a high-end area and several of the restaurants were especially outstanding. We had a favorite coffee place about 1-2 blocks away. Great taxi stand about a block or so away. This is not a complaint about the location necessarily. We are in our late 70's and we were further from the heart of old Rome than I remembered. The apartment location is on the Vatican side of the river slightly beyond the Castle Saint 'Angelo. It's a bit of a trek to Campo de' Fiori, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Palatine Hill and the Forum. We took cabs several times.

• Christopher (10/5): Our favorite accommodations in all of Europe. Thanks so much! - This property is immaculately clean and spacious. All amenities were wonderful and Rafaele was very helpful. The pictures do not do this place justice, 12 foot ceilings, awesome bathrooms, and a balcony! Wonderful A/C on hot days, or turn it off and open all the windows! I have stayed at LEAST 20 different Booking locations in Europe, and this was our favorite! Location fantastic and peaceful. There was absolutely NOTHING wrong with this accommodation!
• Lynn (1/5): Very bad experience with an unprofessional property owner - The location was very good. We could get to different parts of the city easily; there were many good restaurants in the vicinity. The washer wouldn't shut off after 3+ hours of running (we went to dinner after starting the washer), so we unplugged the washer and opened the lid to get to the clothes. But the opening for the tumbler had shifted and was not accessible from the open lid. I contacted the owner immediately thru Booking.com, and Whatsapp, advising we would be on a tour the following morning. When we returned from the tour the next day, the son was at the apartment but was not successful. We asked what to expect next, and were told that a service person would come the next day. The next day, the only communication I had with the owner was her response, "We broken my machine". No explanation of what she meant by this, and no explanation of what the service person found to be the problem. There was no further communication from the owner, despite my repeat messaging to her. The next I heard was an email from Booking.com saying that the owner said we didn't follow the policies, and that we owed $120 for the damage she thought we did to the machine. My response to Booking.com was that I disagreed with this assessment, and further explained what I am reporting here. I sent more messages asking how we could get our clothes, with no response. We received no instructions on the use of the machine, but translated the control panel ourselves in order to set the control before washing the load of clothes. No one told us what policies we didn't follow. No written policies or user manuals were provided in the apartment. We were not given any instructions on what to do with the key when we checked out. Over the course of 4 days after not being able to remove our clothes from the machine, the laundry room and kitchen area began to smell bad. Our clothes were held hostage because we disagreed with her decision that we broke the machine. We left after our week there, with no resolution, no communication.

King bed comfortable single beds hard. Construction in courtyard, very noisy all morning, starting early. Wifi unreliable. No coffee press, only nespresso with 3 pods.

• Peter (10/5): Exceptional - It was just so convenient. The apartment was spacious and clean. Beds were very comfortable. The location is perfect for a lot of Rome. If you're looking at the naps, don't be put off by being this side of the river. It's very walkable to everywhere or very cheap and easy to get the bus to the main attractions No air conditioning in the living room only, but there were fans so really not an issue
• Linda (8/5): Very good - The fact that it was a typical Rome apartment We were a couple a single and two children. The property advertised a double room a twin room and two sofa beds. The twins were pushed together and there were no sofa beds. The extra was just a single fold out bed. We had to improvise with cushions on the floor for one of the children. The bed description needs to be changed on the website.
• Rosa (10/5): Wonderful Stay - This apartment is huge and great size for a family. Loved the small touches like small body wash, cream etc. and that it had a balcony. Could not use the Expresso machine as it had calcium build up in the water container.

Several cafes on the same street. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were very good for our family of 4. Kitchen had a great coffee machine. Only had wifi connection on the first day. We stayed 3 nights. We sent messages to the host but unfortunately the issue was not resolved. No toilet roll holders in both bathrooms. Laundry was very messy (looked like a storeroom) and I had to move several items to reach the washing machine. No milk for coffee or tea.

Plenty of great quality cafes and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Nothing, the apartment exceeded our expectation.

It took a long time to get a response from someone on multiple occasions. Washing machine provided which was hard to use, no detergent provided like most B&Bs. I received numerous calls one day from them wanting a description of how we locked the door when we left, I missed the calls as I was in a bad reception area. Turns out it was the other apartment that jammed the communal door. Just poor experience having these calls for something you didn’t do.

The apartment was huge and had every convenience and was tastefully decorated. It was very secure and had lots of restaurants close by. The lift was a bonus. Being a little out of the tourist area was great! Great value for money. Would definitely say here again The only negative was hot water took a long time to warm up in second bathroom and kitchen. Otherwise everything was perfect.

• Sheng-yu (7/5): Big space, old style Roma house with rebuilt bathroom. Close Bus stops. - The location is out of town a bit but still walking distance to few spots. Bus stop is just 5 mins walking. The entire house is very big for us (4 people's family). Living room and master bedroom are very big. The x2 bathrooms are clean and nice space! Has elevator for my heavy luggage even it's old style. The neighborhood is very quiet at night. I dislike the fragrance of the entire house during checking in. I recommend not to place any strong fragrance since not all people like it or the selected fragrance. All nearby supermarkets are relevantly small! You have better to buy your own food from some bigger supermarket then take bus home, which may take some time also. X2 single beds are too small for adults. And the air con just beside one of the single bed....! Although website says it has air condition,....but only in bedrooms which are not connected to living room space. Living room is very big but no any air con. And the air con noise is loud if you adjust stronger or cooler. Kitchen exhaust machine is basically......a decoration there. No function at all if you want to cook anything there. Some appliances and furniture are outdated like washing machine, sofa (Really should change it!), stove and oven. The check-in process took some efforts for communications since the lady can only speak Italian. We used google translation for communications that time. And the check-in process did not guide us what to do after arrival the building. The cellphone signals were out of service (at least mine Vodafone) inside the house. You really need their wifi during your stay. But wifi shut down few times (couple hours at night) during our stay. There were many door lockers from building front door to the house door. You may ensure your key is ok before you lock your door. The front door key requires slight "Upward-Angles" during unlocking/rotation (You try...then you would know what I meant). If not, you can not open the building door even your key can be inserted into the locker!

• N (7/5): Although the apartment was good, I had to give this rating due to poor wi-fi connections. - Very spacious, clean and comfortable. It's conveniently located more or less between Vatican and Spanish Steps (+main shopping area), and took us approx 20 - 30 minutes to walk in either direction. During our 4 night stay, about 1/3 of time wi-fi was not working at all, very poor indeed. We contacted the owner, but no action was taken.
• Melissa (5/5): Average - The location was pretty good. There was a laundromat 30 seconds away and there were places to eat and drink close by. We are a family of 5 which the owner knew, but when we got there, there were only beds for 4 people. We were thrown a sheet and a pillow and told to sleep on the couch which was very uncomfortable. We also found out on our last day there was a fold out bed in the room off the kitchen which we initially thought was locked but wasn't.
• Lucy (9/5): Wonderful spacious apartment in a central location - A very spacious apartment which had everything we needed and was close to all attractions. The only thing that was a bit strange was that we could only lock the door into the apartment from the outside. This meant that when we were sleeping we couldn't lock our door. It was a secure apartment and there was only one other apartment behind a second door that was lockable so we felt comfortable enough but if we were very security concious this would have been of concern.

Can't wait to return! - The apartment was large, rooms were spacious, kitchen was fully stocked with utencils if you want to cook. We didn't because of the wonderful resaturants around the corner. A grocery store was close and Gelati, Gelati for your daily fix was a 5 min. walk. You are 1 mile from the Vatican, a 10 min walk from the shuttle bus we caught at the port, and a half mile walk to the hop on hop off bus stop. We will be back! Gratzi! Everything was great... the overhead bulb in the master bedroom went out... that's all!

Loved the cafe across the street which had a delicious international breakfast with friendly staff and quite close to many other food options and a big park. We really liked the pull out drawer space below the bathroom sinks to store bathroom toiletries. Beautiful balcony overlook to street. Small leak in shower door seal that caused the floor to get quite wet if you weren’t careful which way the shower head was directed. Also, a small shelf in the shower for soap and shampoo toiletries would be very helpful.
