Guest Reviews
- Sabine (9/5): Toller Aufenthalt - Top Lage
- Dorothy (9/5): Fantastic location, fantastic host. Would definitely stay here again! - We LOVED the location. Steps away from the market at Campo de Fiori and many fantastic restaurants, shops, etc. Seemed like a brief walk to any sights we wanted to see. Several grocery stores very closeby.
The windows looked out on a nice piazza which was always full of life but with the windows closed the noise was no problem whatsoever.
We appreciated the oils and condiments in the kitchen so basic cooking could be done without buying lots of extra things.
Also the host was very responsive and helpful. The bed in the en-suite bedroom was VERY firm, too firm for my comfort. Luckily I was comfortable on the sofa. The only other suggestion I have is that a roll of paper towels in the kitchen would be nice
- Jenny (10/5): -
- Eve (10/5): Great location we will come back! Beds very comfortable and shower great! - Location is perfect, layout of the place is unusual and works well for two couples! The courtyard outside from the window made for fun people watching and several great restaurants right there! The coffee shop and Cod fish place excellent! The relationship to the Piazza Fiori great and the wine store on the corner awesome! A bit loud in the evening!
- MonikaLoboda (10/5): - Great location, and a huge plus for having two bathrooms. The apartment was exceptionally well equipped — we even had a baby cot and a stroller provided. The staff were very friendly, and we were welcomed with sweet treats and a little gift for our child. I sincerely recommend this place!
- Marco (9/5): Great location: perfect for walking around Rome! - - central location
- clean and helpful/friendly owner
- Ape Bar just underneath with great coffee & pastries + very friendly staff (Pamela & Saverio)
- ideal for our family of 5 It was obvious to us but worth mentioning for others: you can get some noise from the street (cleaners, rubbish collectors, people shouting/partying), so bring earplugs if you are not used to a lively city & old buildings
- Biedrzycki (9/5): Bardzo udany pobyt, dobre miejsce. Dojście do przystanku autobusowego prosty.
- Ralph (9/5): Lovely apartment in the heart of Rome, only a few steps from the Campo De Fiori. - Friendly host, excellent communication.
Superb location in a beautiful part of the city.
Apartment was easily big enough for 4 of us.
Quiet but buzzy neighbourhood. Front door very hard to close/noisy.
- Smarzola (10/5): INCANTEVOLE - LA DISPONIBILITà E CORDIALITà DEL HOST , L'AMPIEZZA E PULIZIA DELL'APPARTAMENTO.

- eva (10/5): Inmejorable!!!!! - Todo!
La ubicación
La decoración
La comodidad
Las camas
Los baños
Todo! No hay nada a mejorar… es perfecto! Y si vuelvo a Roma no dudaré en repetir
- Karol (10/5): I would definitely stay here again. - The apartment is beautiful and very well located, just one block from Campo de’ Fiori. The rooms are comfortable, and the bathrooms are nice as well. The cleaning was adequate, and it has all the utensils you need if you want to cook or have breakfast. The owner kindly let us use his parking spot in front of the apartment so we didn’t have to pay—thank you very much! Please note that the rooms are not fully enclosed at the top, so you can hear everything. We were a family and didn’t have any issues with this, but if you’re staying with people you don’t know well, it could be a concern.
- Dalya (10/5): Very good experience. Excellent location, comfortable apartment. Highly recommend! - The apartment is in a great location! A small alley off the main street with shops and cafes. 2 minutes walk from bus stops, 5 minutes walk from the ghetto and kosher restaurants, 1 minute walk from Campo de' Fiori market. 2 bedrooms with comfortable double beds, one of the bedrooms with an en suite shower. There is a very comfortable folding sofa in the living room. There is a washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine. There is everything you need to get by as a family or a group of friends Keep in mind that reaching the apartment is by stairs, there is no elevator, but that's how it is in Rome in all ancient buildings, so pay attention especially if you have very large luggage.
- Irene (9/5): - Location 10/10, within 5-20 minutes from every landscape including the de-centred Colosseo, Vaticano and Trastevere.
Comfortable and luxurious property, good beds and pillows, plenty of storage space, washing machine and dishwasher, a/c in every room!
- Nina (9/5): Absolut zu empfehlen, war toll! - Perfekte Lage, wunderschönes Appartement, toll ausgestattet und liebevoll eingerichtet. -

- Daniela (9/5): -
- Alec (9/5): Top - Locatie Koude douch
- Curtis (8/5): Great location, excellent that there are two bathrooms, decent place for the price. - It is located within an easy walk of fantastic bars and restaurants. Immediately outside the window of the main area of the property is a bustling patio type area with delightful tables and chairs. Also, the Parthenon and Trevi Fountain were easily within our walk later in the day. Perfect for two couples. It was a little hard to find for drivers. We had some trouble with Uber and taxi drivers being able to find it.
- Sara (9/5): -
- Dorota (10/5): I highly recommend - In the photos, it looked simple and not very inviting. I’m glad that, despite that, curiosity and intuition won. Wonderful place—just 100 meters from Campo de’ Fiori.
It’s a good option for people who know each other well—one of the two rooms has walls that don’t reach the ceiling. The apartment has been remodeled, and the ceiling decorations didn’t allow the space to be fully closed off.
Two bathrooms with showers and toilets—one in the hallway, the other in the room.
Highly recommended. I’ll be back.
- Jane (7/5): Good location for a short visit. - Location. No hassles connecting upon arrival. Property manager met us immediately and helped with our bags. Nice guy. Place was clean. More bohemian than luxury
- Simon (10/5): Great location in the heart of Rome that is very close to all the major attractions - Location was extremely good. Couldn’t ask for it to be any better. Very well maintained with excellent amenities and and extremely helpful host Just a personal gripe, a little disappointing that one has to find the right place and way to dispose of rubbish for a place that markets itself as a luxury apartment. I understand there are rules in play but it would be easier if cleaners took care of the rubbish after someone’s stay.
- Beazley (8/5): - Convenient location and our host met us there to help us with our bags and get familiar with the apartment. Had some problems the 1st day trying to get the air conditioner to cool.
I texted the host and it was upsetting when he said that no one has complained about this before. He was nice enough to come over the next day and fix it. Hot water was very intermittent and if you plan to take a shower in the morning it was just cold water. Floor was really dirty. If you walked around in your socks, they would be black with dirt. Did not want to complain about these last two items because I didn't want to hear the response of no one else has complained about them before.
- Morena (10/5): Tutto perfetto, alloggio oltre le aspettative -
- Claudia (9/5): Wonderful place to stay! Great location! - The apartment was spacious for our family of five. The location was phenomenal! It was close enough to walk to most points of interest and had stores and restaurants just steps away. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was adequately stocked. The view into the small plaza was beautiful. There is one flight of stairs to the property, which is less than many other properties in this area. For us, this was not an issue at all but if you have difficulty with stairs, this might be an issue.
- Julia (9/5): Great place - Great position, very comfortable & clean Nothing
- KRIS (10/5): We loved our visit and the apartment was everything we needed it to be. - So close to many of Romes features. Easy walking to many locations. Safe, vibrant neighborhood. AC and WiFi worked well inside the apartment. Great view out into the plaza.
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stu (10/5): A wonderful apartment in a great city. - Everything. The apartment is in an upscale area with great restaurants and shopping. The apartment is laid out beautifully and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The host is gracious and very helpful. Nothing I can think of.
- Anush (10/5): Exceptional - The location was great, the amenities were very good, and the staff was very friendly. Great apartment! All good.
- Alex (6/5): It’s okay. - Great location and nice looking apartment Power points falling off the wall. Parking fine, although host said parking at that location was fine. Noisy apartment.
- Sheila (7/5): Fabulous location, comfortable but not luxury. - The location was fabulous. Close to central sites and good food and shopping. Easy to walk around or catch public transportation. Comfortable but not luxury.
- Shaimaa (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was amazing Nothing
All was perfect
- Ilyas (9/5): Superb -
- Brooks (10/5): The two-bedroom apartment was perfect for my family. The location offered easy access to the sites. - Location was perfect. It offered easy access to many sites. Liked it all
- Donald (10/5): Exceptional -
- Prashant. (6/5): The owners are rude and blame us for not using the things properly - Location was very good and very clean Lot of things broken, bathrooms had mould and NOT LUXURY as they advertise & air condition not working sofa were very old and all colour peeling off, sockets coming off the wall, they don’t show how the things operate and 110% not luxury and not the worth they charge … rude rude owners
- Prabs (9/5): Superb - Great host. Excellent location. Amenities and layout exactly as in pictures. Walls were a bit thin. Bathrooms were tiny. Towels threadbare.
- Amanda (4/5): Abusive hosts accused us of breaking ironing board and despite paying hundreds of dollars to stay surprised us with a no - Great location. The hosts made it a bad experience. They accused us of breaking their ironing board when it was already broken. We paid hundreds of dollars for staying in their accommodation and then they surprised us with a sign on the wall when we arrived saying they expected us to collect all our rubbish and walk it a number of blocks to a specified bin available Monday - Saturday. We checked out on Sunday so left all our rubbish in the bins provided in the apartment. They then abused us for not emptying the bin AND for placing the rubbish in the bins in a way they didn’t agree with. Received a number of texts from them. Not worth the money. Would never stay again.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elaina (9/5): Superb -
- Mike (9/5): Superb -
- Deirdre (8/5): Very good - Location was really good. Apartment was spotless. Bedrooms were lovely also and beds comfortable. Showers in the evening were tepid so not ideal The pull out bed could be better. I was going to put duvet covers that were stored in the bed as under=blankets but they were very smelly...needed to be washed or replaced
- Pia (9/5): Superb - Very central location, you can walk everywhere. Great with a washing machine so luggage can be kept to a minimum. WIFI & aircon worked perfect. What I also really appreciate is the possibility to store your luggage when you leave the apartment the last day - really convenient.
We were a family of five, two in each bedroom and one in a sofa bed - worked really fine.
Host was very quick on replying and explaining when we had questions - would definitely book again. Bring a couple of dish machine tablets from home or if host could add at least one tablet/day. We could only find one (might be due to us not looking enough). This is a minor comment in the overall picture.
- Camilo (10/5): Exceptional - Very comfortable apartment, and well equipped. It is very central to the main landmarks in Rome and easy accessibility
- Timothy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sharon (9/5): Superb -
- Tasha (10/5): Fantastic central place to stay - This is a great apartment, clean, modern, central, warm and comfortable beds and pillows. Roberto was a great, friendly host who welcomed us and made sure we had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this accomodation! Nothing
- Michele (10/5): Exceptional - Casa Giorgio is very centrally located. It is within walking distance to all the main attractions and just a couple blocks from the bus routes and Campo di Fiori. The two bedroom apt is exactly as described on the website. It is exceptionally clean and suited the four of us perfectly for our four night stay. The apt is located directly over a little campo. You can watch the activity from the living room window, or simply close the window to enjoy peace and quiet. The owner met us at the apt and went over the details with us. He graciously allowed us to stay an extra hour on check out day to align with our flight. This is a great apt for your stay in Rome!
- Katie (8/5): Great location between major attractions - The location was great and it was clean. Not too many steps to get to the apartment and balcony was great for people watching. Be careful if you pay over Booking.com so they do not charge twice like they did for us. We also could not get more towels but it was okay.
- Abigail (8/5): Very good - Good location, good price. Mattress and pillow were not comfortable. Was better off sleeping on sofa.
- Crystal (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic location! We were able to walk to the Colosseum, Trevi fountain, Pantheon and the Vatican all within one day with three young children and had a wonderful time! We will definitely stay here again.
The apartment was very comfortable and spacious. Like some other people stated, there are a lot of signs regarding what you can and cannot do and what fees you may occur while staying in the apartment.
It might be because other people have been disrespectful guests and caused problems. I understand the signs can feel a little overwhelming.
We just made sure to read them and follow the instructions and we had no problems .
- Radonja (10/5): Great appartment in the best location - Location, clean, good beds. Everything you need is in the Apartment. Like everybody else we didn't like that the walls were not up to the ceiling and you could hear everyone else and when someone turns the lights on in one room you see it in the whole appartment.
- Lisa (10/5): Great apartment amazing location! - The location alone would give this a 10 but also clean, comfortable and a wonderful host. We walked to all the major sights (Pantheon, St Peters’s, Colosseum) and great pizza right in the square outside the apartment. Lots of shopping and eateries/grocery nearby. The host was very communicative and met us at the apartment when we arrived and was quick to answer any questions. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends!
- María (9/5): Perfect accommodation! - The location is amazing
- Lisa (9/5): Superb - Location was spot on Can get bit noisy at times but it doesn't last too long
- Michael (9/5): Great apartment in a fabulous location - This lovely apartment is ideally located near the center of Rome. It is steps away from the Campo deli Fiori. It is an easy walk to Trastevere and to the major tourist sites, Piazza Navonna and the Pantheon. Many of the other major sites are all within walking distance or easily assessable by public transportation. You can't ask for a better location.
The apartment itself appears exactly as it does on the web. The rooms are good sized considering this is Rome. The seating area is comfortable, the kitchen well supplied, and the bathrooms modern with great showers. We have no suggestions here.
- Beverley (9/5): A great place to stay that enabled us to get out and about easily to enjoy the wonders of Rome. - Clean, comfortable and quite spacious. Location was great. Clear glass above all the rooms. Totally understand why it’s there but if a light is put on it brightens all the rooms.
- Meredith (8/5): Would stay here again. - The best location in Rome with so many options right on the doorstep. The entry is dark and having a timber step immediately as you enter is tricky when you’re concentrating on moving luggage. Bit of a hazard (luckily I only tripped and didn’t injure my ankle on day 1 of our holiday) - the step could do with a light coloured reflective strip for safety.
- Renata (9/5): Ancient Charm and Lovely Square - The apartment is historical and enchanting. There is a lot of attention to detail. There are two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Loved the location as you are close to a large square and many restaurants. The local owners are above and beyond curtious. You enter the apartment on street level and there is a set of very steep ancient steps to climb. The living area is quite small. The one bedroom is smaller with limited space to put suitcases. We only had carryons, but the one couple kept the carryons in the living room as there was no space in the bedroom. There is a washing machine, but a word of caution: you must use the spin cycle after the wash as the clothes remain drenched. The biggest drawback is the 10 am checkout with literally nowhere to wait and nowhere to leave luggage. Our train left at 1pm. We found an open restaurant and waited in the square.
- Maria (9/5): Incredible location, great space and views, excellent holiday and would return! - Location was amazing, apartment was very comfortable, exactly as advertised and sleeps 6 if needed. Bathrooms and bedrooms were clean and functional and space was excellent for central Rome. Lots of shops and restaurants, parking was easy enough too. Loved the view onto the little square and the pedestrian streets around the building. Would definitely stay here again if in Rome. Loved the unique details in the apartment too. Aircon turned on at least for 20 mins before arriving given the heat in Rome, as well as breakfast being included in a local cafeteria (other nearby apartments include that). Not accessible for wheelchairs or those who struggle with stairs.
- Sally (10/5): Excellent apartment overall in a wonderfully location - The position is superb and I really liked the apartment. It has everything you need for a great stay. My adult children were not at all keen on the lack of privacy caused by the walls not reaching the ceilings.
There were a lot of warning notices threatening fines for various infractions. Not welcoming!
- Barry (9/5): Superb - The location was excellent for walking and the apartment was quiet for sleeping.
It was good value for our family of 6
Roberto was available to answer any questions, and also to greet us when we arrived. If he had not been, we would never have recognized our outer door!
Rome was exceptionally hot, but we were very comfortable when we returned to our rooms from seeing sites. No real concerns. The outer door key is tricky to master, but nothing that we could not manage.
- Vanessa (9/5): Great apartment in the heart of Rome. - The property is very centrally located. We walked everywhere. It’s spacious with two bathrooms which was perfect for our family of four. Nothing
- Jeremy (9/5): Great property and location - Great property and the location was really central to many of Rome’s attractions. Only detraction was the shower didn’t drain properly and so you would end up standing in dirty water.
- Andrew (9/5): Superb -
- Alex (10/5): Perfect accommodation. - This was a fantastic apartment. We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children). The beds were comfortable, the location excellent and checking in etc was easy. We were also suffering jet lag so it was a bonus the apartment was quiet despite the location. And the cheese shop across from the entrance was great. I recommend this apartment. All was good.
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional - The location of the apartment was perfect and within easy walking distance to everything. Roberto met us as we arrived to show us around and give us the keys. He was so kind and accommodating, even letting us check in early after a long flight from the USA. The beds could have been a bit softer, but we still slept fine.
- Jan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lena (9/5): Superb - Amazing location! Nice apartment and convenient to share with friends.
- Leah (1/5): Owner is not a good person and apartment is just ok - We had a bad experience with the owner of this apartment. We had been in Venice previously and my special needs son had left a cherished toy in our Venice apartment. The hosts were very kind and offered to mail it to us in Rome. I contacted our host in Rome and asked him for a mailing address and explained the situation to him. He said that was perfectly fine and we could receive a package there. The day it was due to arrive I reached out again to our host and asked him where packages were commonly left at the apartment and he told me delivery to the apartment was impossible, that they don’t receive deliveries. I asked him why he didn’t tell me that the week previous when I had asked him for a mailing address. At that point he accused me of thinking we were living in a hotel and he should be at our beck and call. It was like the conversation we had had the week before never took place. I begged for him to help us by calling a neighbor or local shop who could put a note on our door for us to tell the courier to deliver the package to them and we could pick it up later (because we were touring the Vatican at the time and couldn’t make it back to the apartment) and he said he could do nothing and refused to make any calls or do anything himself. He then blamed me for not knowing how the Italian post system works, while he was the one who told me we could receive a package at that address in the first place. I was rightfully very upset at his lack of communication to me and graciousness as a host. I told him I would write a review about how he had treated our family. He laughed and said “Go ahead!” This is not a human being with a good heart. I would never do business with someone like this again. There are many good people in Italy who are willing to go the extra mile. Know that if you have a special situation come up and need advice or help this man will not be there for you and will laugh at your plight.
- Harriet (10/5): it was great - the location and the apartment were great. the stairs to get to the apartment
- Denise (7/5): Excellent Location - Pros:
*Airport transportation arranged by the property and he was there on time and easy to find.
**Perfect Location in the heart of beautiful Rome
*3 doors to go through to get to the room - all with good locks so it felt safe.
*Small washing machine seems to work well. Detergent pods provided.
*No dryer but heated racks in the bathroom work well for a limited amount of clothes.
*Nice updated bathroom with plenty of space for toiletries.
*Good water pressure and temperature. Shower door fully enclosed so no water splashing on the floor like in many places.
*Pretty good WiFi
*Beds have foam mattress which I normally don't care for but these were reasonably comfortable. Not too hard like so many Roman beds are.
*Extra pillows and blankets provided.
*Plenty of closet space and dresser space for clothing. Cons:
*Entryway is scary for those not used to Rome's old buildings. Lots of graffiti all around. Door is old, dark and low. No markings or sign to show you're in the right place.
*The person who met us spoke little English and had difficulty understanding his instructions. The property should provide a detailed written instruction list in renter's language.
*After entering the first door we had to climb stairs to the second floor that were dark, worn, uneven and difficult to traverse. The steps were worn in the middle and sloped down making them even more difficult when carrying luggage. There was an odor in the stairwell. At the top of the stairs was another locked door leading to a short hallway. There was no light in that area until you walked far enough to trigger the motion -sensitive light. The door to the the apartment was in that hallway.
**The worst feature: A VERY strong, perfume was used in the apartment that was almost unbearable and extremely unpleasant. We came very close to leaving at that point. Fortunately we could open the windows but it was 3 days before the smell faded significantly. Sometimes there was an underlying sewage smell but it was very faint.
*The kitchen is a cheap, ugly addition. Looks much better in the photos. The coffee maker was unreachable and there was no coffee available. There was an espresso maker that we could not figure out how to work. No instructions. The cooking utensils looked like they came out of a garage sale. Chipped, old skillet.
*AC/Heater system in each room but we were unable to get it to work well. Again, no instructions.
*Very few toiletries provided. Shampoo and TINY soaps. No body wash, lotion, Kleenex.
*Needs a DEEP cleaning desperately!
*Weirdest: Walls don't go to the ceiling so there is clear plexiglass to make up the 2 ft difference. When the bathroom light is turned on at 2am the whole apartment lights up! Lots of noise from the street at night.
- Ahmed (8/5): Great time. - Very clean from inside. In proximity to main tourist areas. Location was noisy. Parking and accessibility issues.
- Lori (9/5): I would recommend this to all of my friends! - exactly as advertised. Clean, comfortable and central. we were able to walk to EVERYTHING. The kitchen is well appointed and we were able to make a fresh pasta meal using fresh goodness from the shop adjacent to the front door. could have used an extra set of towels and toiletries.
- Yakov (9/5): Superb - Great location. Fully equipped. Comfortable beds. Two bathrooms. Cumbersome garbage removal process.
- Herbst (9/5): Location is superb. The courtyard and street activity outside the window was a bonus. - Super location and comfy apartment. Could use more comfortable dining chairs that could double as living room seating for hanging out.
- Ravindra (10/5): Highly memorable and enjoyable - Very good quality decor, furnishings and
close to all the main attractions like
Pantheon, Navona, Colosseum and St
Peters. Host very helpful and accommodating
- Igor (5/5): Great location, but no sound and light insulation within the apartment - Location was excellent - next to Campo de Fiori - walkable to all major attractions within 15-25 min. Lots of restaurants are in the area, and a Carrefour grocery store is 2 min walk. Very convenient in that regard.
The apartment has nice pictures hanging - gives a good ambiance.
The beds in the bedroom were comfortable and there were enough pillows of various kinds.
Water pressure was good in both bathrooms. The apartment literally does not have walls separating bedrooms and bathrooms - it only has semblance of walls that go up to 70 cm below the ceiling and the rest is made of transparent plexiglass that has no light or sound insulation. This means that any noise made in any of the bathrooms or bedrooms is transmitted throughout the apartment: someone turned on light in the middle of the night in one of the bathroom - everyone else who sleeps in either of the bedrooms or a living rooms is awoken by the light; anyone says a word in one of bedrooms - others can hear it in any part of the apartment. All outside noises (and there are some, especially on the weekend) fade in comparison with interior noises from other people in the apartment.
The "extendable" sofa in the living has no locking mechanism to hold the part that makes up a bed, so a person sleeping in the living room is sort of "falling through the gap" between the extendable part and the frame of the bed. We tried to prop the moving part with chairs or pillows - it did not really make a difference. If only one person sleeps in the living room - it is not a problem as the main part of the sofa is stable. If two people are meant to sleep in the living room - it is going to be problematic for the second person.
Guests are meant to remove all rubbish and recycling upon departure. The closest collecting bins are about 10 min walk from the apartment.
Door in one of the bedrooms has a handle that constantly falls out, so it is not possible to pull the door open from inside, and one needs to pull on the top of the door itself.
- Mercedes (10/5): Fantastic - We had a wonderful stay in Casa Giorgia. All very clean and the location is just superb. Check-in was very easy and appreciate the flexibility of a later arrival as we encounter delays at the airport. The beds are very comfortable and it is walking distance from all main highlights in Rome. We will definitely come back to this apartment! N/A
- Olga (8/5): Very good - The location is great! The beds are comfortable. The kitchen facilities are good. The owner is very friendly. The actual bedrooms have no walls near the sealing. So you have no privacy. You hear even the whisper...so the toilet activity as well. I would not recommend this place for 2 couples, but maybe for family.
- Boada-aguirre (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cristina (9/5): Superb -
- Hefina (9/5): Excellent 4 night stay in Rome - The location was excellent - a good starting point for all the main attractions in Rome. We walked to them all over the 3 days. Restaurants very close by. Facilities in the apartment were all one could need. Owner stayed in touch and organised our taxi for us. Coming from uk - you may be surprised at the exterior - lots of graffiti. DO NOT BE PUT OFF - the location can't be better and lovely vibrant area
- Wendy (10/5): Amazing trip to Rome, staying in an historic apartment right in the centre of things - the apartment was great, had everything we needed, very clean, superb location so we could stroll out day or evening to look at the shops or enjoy wandering through the pretty Campo dei Fiori and bustling Piazza Navona, great bars and restaurants in the winding streets, very pretty at night. Easy walk to Trastevere also nothing
