Guest Reviews
Esperienza molto positiva siamo veramente soddisfatti 🙏❤️
- Jan (2/5): Nightmare in Trastevere - Location is on very busy street of Trastevere with many restaurants and bars Room is smaller than it seems
Wooden windows don’t cancel any noise
Bed was narrow and squeeky
Kitchen equipment was sticky and ew
Super small toilet and shower
So dusty
Enterance to the house is from a street that everybody uses as “toilet”
Total - they should pay you for staying there… On saturday night the party outside ended at 4 a.m. So the seagulls and Glass garbage collector can wake up

- Sara (10/5): - Amazing! Location is 10/10 (restaurant Tonnarello is a must) owner is great, he was there for everything we needed.

- Thomas (10/5): A brilliant stay and lovely time. - Really great location, amazing restaurants and not far from centre of Rome and attractions like the Vatican and coliseum. It was really clean and felt spacious. We didn’t find it difficult to sleep at night despite it being located near restaurants. The staff were incredibly hospitable and we would book again. The AC is a little old and need to be drained every day or so, however this is not a big issue as it’s not hard to do.
- Sarah (9/5): Cute apartment! - Amazing location. It was smaller than expected and the floors could have been cleaner.
- Ryan (7/5): Good -
- Kerry (8/5): Great alternative to hotel. - Great position, a few steps away from plenty of good dining options. Only a short walk to attractions and also easy access with public transport. Was so happy to have a washing machine. The bed was comfortable and the room was a good size. Neighbour can be a bit noisy on weekend but it wasn’t too bad.
- Bonnie (9/5): Great spot close to sights and fun. It is not quiet if you are a light sleeper - Great location
- Suzanne (8/5): Very good -
- James (8/5): Lovely location in the thick of it. Quite noisy but to be expected - Location and the layout Bed was uncomfortable
- Carol (10/5): Exceptional - Love this little apartment in Trastevere, stayed here twice at this apartment. Very noisy at night but that's Trastevere and the buzz is 24/7. Alberto is great, neighbours great. In short GREAT
- Yana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Issy (8/5): Great location but dirty floors - Great location and cute decor! The floor was dirty and the shower bracket was broken.
- Rosalba (5/5): Great location, advertised with kitchen but no facilities plates, glasses, cook ware etc. - Location Advertised with kitchen but had no cups , glasses, plates etc. Gas stove to cook on but nothing to cook with.
- Day (9/5): Superb -
- Odelle (7/5): Good - Location was quite nice near the river in a quieter area a bit away from the city centre, but not too far either. The host was also quite responsive. Just looked a bit smaller than what the photos depicted but it was still sufficient space for 2 people.
- Daniel (9/5): A brilliant little find. - Perfectly situated for exploring Rome. 30 mins walk to the colluseum and 30 mins walk to the Vatican. Plenty of excellent restaurants on the doorstep offering reasonable excellent food.
Bare in mind this apartment doesn't come available very often so IMO book it of the opportunity arises and deal with the hot water issue as a quirk. Boiler was a little temperamental as has been highlighted a few times on this site. You have enough hot water to have a 5 minute shower then you have to wait 30 mins for it to refill and reheat.
- Carol (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely everything, Alberto and Cecilia are more than helpful before we left Ireland. The apartment is beautiful, clean, safe and has all you need if you fancy doing a bit of cooking for yourself, we'll stocked with all you need in the way of utensils. The location is fantastic and your so close to everything. We have been lucky to visit Rome 4 times this by far has been the BEST for value and accommodation. You can't go wrong. Lovely people to deal with and a really lovely lovely apartment 😊 Loved everything
- Sally (6/5): Great location but not overly comfortable. - Location of the apartment was fantastic. Perfect for Trastevere and central enough to walk to all the major sights. The bed was uncomfortable and creaked loudly every time there was the slightest movement. The shower was terrible with barely enough hot water for one shower and the shower head connector was broken so had to be held by hand. ‘Air-conditioning’ did not cool the room at all - merely blew room temperature air very slightly.
- Viktor (3/5): Beautiful location, but everything else is terrible - undeniably excellent location from which to go max 20 minutes to the main attractions of Rome the apartment is very dirty, the floors are not washed, all the walls are worn, the paint is peeled off by suitcases, the dust is not protesting on the shelves and under the bed. We were greeted by some woman, not the owner of the apartments. It was not agreed in advance, the woman did not speak English. She smelled very strongly and looked terrible, as if she had just woken up after drinking.
- Nicholas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (8/5): The Heart of Trastevere - Location was fantastic, right in the heart of busy Trastevere. Communication was good and it was exactly what it said it was Had to negotiate a couple of flights of stairs but that was manageable. We were asked to pay in cash which surprised us
- Clare (8/5): Very good - Excellent location, close to restaurants & transport, good vibe in local area Piazza was very noisy all night, every night due to location
- Gail (4/5): Disappointing -
- Dan (8/5): Very good - Location is excellent, small but perfect for this kind of cities. Cecilia the lady who welcomed us was really nice and helpful. It may be a little bit noisy for some people...so if you have a light sleep, bring ear plugs.
- Anonymous (8/5): Trastevere is the best place to stay in Rome - A beautifully classic furniture : a lovely place! The lack of a bathroom drain !!!
- Julia (9/5): Superb -
- Mathieu (10/5): A fantastic stay in Trastevere! - Location!
a well equipped apartment. Nothing.
- Elena (5/5): Passable - The location is awesome However the pictures of the property are deceiving! The entrance is in a small dark alley. The entrance door was broken so the host told us that we need to kick the door for it to open, the staircase all the way to the apartment was filthy, full with dust and dirt and the paint was peeling off from the walls . The apartment inside was cute. The second day the Wi-Fi was not working so I texted the host maybe they could fix it, she replied with a weird text ,I could understand what she meant so asked what she meant and that I didn’t understand her, she never replied , I even texted her the next day but no response… truly disappointed!
- Beatfilms (8/5): Great location - Absolutely great location. An easy walk to main attractions or a bus stop that will get you there if you prefer.
Restaurants galore at night - just wander the neighborhood and you'll find things to do, people to watch, and great food and drink.
Check in was simple and easy - met at the apartment with keys and instructions.
The neighborhood is quite loud at night, but you should know that before renting. Bring earplugs for at night if you need them. If you're charging a €50 cleaning fee - it would be nice if the dresser wasn't filled with a prior resident's underwear. My wife is convinced that the floors hadn't been mopped either. Slippers worn basically at all times.
- Jeff (10/5): Excellent property in thriving Trastevere. - Outstanding location. It is Trastevere, so noise in the piazza below was expected, but did not bother us. The washing machine was easy to use. Excellent Wi-Fi, 2 TVs. No coffee provided, but plenty of places nearby to purchase a 2 euro bag of ground coffee and use with the provided Moka. Hot water and water pressure were excellent (shower small, but hey, it's an old building, so did not bother us). Host sent a rep that showed us EVERYTHING - how to use keys, how to use washer, how to turn on AC, how to use WiFi. Excellent restaurant just across the street. Building itself is a little rough, especially front door. Need to insert key, twist, and then kick the door. But the host showed us how and it worked every time! Inside, the place is gorgeous with wooden ceiling with beams.
- Calum (7/5): Cozy Central Apartment Lacking Care - It was a very central, cozy, traditional apartment. It was really easy to get to the centre of town. There were a lot of nice restaurants and cafes around. Only cash payments are accepted for the property - spent a chunk of the first day trying to withdraw > €800 euros from an ATM to pay. Made me feel uneasy on the first day drawing large quantities of cash in a public area.
Outside the flat is very loud - earbuds are mandatory.
Picture showing front of the property is deceiving. It shows the view from the upstairs window, however entrance is through a dark back alley, with a broken front door.
Massage facilities are misleading, as building is shared with massage parlour but not related to the apartment in any way.
The floor was very dirty and we had to wear shoes inside the flat. Something to think about if staying more then 3 days - there won't be enough toilet roll and you will need to purchase more. Coffee making facilities were advertised, but there was no coffee and only 2-3 sachets of sugar. The flatscreen TV didn't seem to work and was rather small.
There was a strong English language barrier, making it difficult to convey issues and losing information in translation.
- Frances (10/5): Great location -
- Alan (6/5): Pleasant -
