- Luisa (9/5): Throughly enjoyed our stay in Rome. - The location near the Pantheon was excellent. All communication was prompt and efficient, especially in replacing the electric kettle. Instructions left were clear and helpful - even supplied touring books and maps. Perhaps investigation into the ventilation of the building is necessary. Room deodorisation provided was somewhat overbearing. Dampness maybe the issue.
- Henar (8/5): - Lo mejor la situación. Apartamento amplio. Que tenga dos baños es una ventaja. Pocos enchufes adaptados
- Andre (10/5): Super beau séjour - Emplacement des activités touristiques N/A
- Miller (10/5): - The location is very nice for touring historic Rome. Lots of dinning options and shopping is close as well. Nothing.
- Kelly (8/5): - Location perfect walking distance to restaurants and landmarks. Located in the quaint area of the city with cobblestone streets. We appreciated that both bedrooms had their own bathroom. We traveled with another couple and the apartment was large enough for privacy . We also liked that there was a washer and drying rack since we stayed 6 nights. The kitchen was convenient too. Check in was smooth and our host even connected us with a car service for transport from the airport. Would recommend. We don't have any negatives. Maybe that the showers were small but that's to be expected in Europe.

- Ian (9/5): Heart of Rome - Great city ground floor apartment. Amazing antique light fittings. 2 beds and bathrooms. (One with single beds,)Met by an owner who sorted everything for check in. Walking distance to most attractions. All good. Comfortable and suited our two travelling couples well

- Belén (10/5): - Ubicación, instalaciones, comodidad Nada
- Andy (5/5): The owner Cecelia is very friendly and helpful . - Within walking distance of all major points of interest. Restaurants and food stores close by.
Extremely convenient. Located in a narrow and dirty alley.
I was sleeping in a sofa bed and both the bedding and towels smelled.
- Scott (8/5): Very good - Great location, with easy walking distance. Lots of room. We had to ask for more Toilet paper. That took a few days to get from cleaning staff. Although it had a kitchen, no hot pads, paper towel or garbage can liners. Small showers.
- Sinead (10/5): Fantastic apartment in amazing location - Property was fantastic - spacious 2 bedroom apartment in an excellent location , walking distance to everything in Rome . Comfortable beds ( new mattress in main room !) , with all kitchen facilities you could ask for .
Cecilia was so helpful in providing us with information on supermarkets and taxi services to / from airport (thanks Gino !) - she was super quick to respond to our questions .
There are a host of fantastic restaurants , icecream parlours , wine bars & bakeries on your doorstep here - we will be definitely be back again ! Nothing - it was excellent !
- Anne (8/5): Fantastic location with a couple downsides. - This was a spacious, clean apartment in a fabulous location, close to major sights and in a lively neighborhood. It’s quite loud. There’s a lot of street noise, and it sounds like it’s right in the apartment. This would be a great apartment for very sound sleepers. Also, the bed in the main bedroom definitely needs a new mattress. You can feel the springs in the mattress.
- Jessica (10/5): Spacious, family friendly apartment in the heart of Piazza Navona area! - We found the apartment to be large and meet all of our needs, including two spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Full service kitchen though we only used the espresso machine and fridge. Washing machine with drying racks in the bathroom made it convenient. Hosts were proactive and reachable, meeting us on arrival. The location is top notch! Steps to the best restaurants and sites in Rome. While I read some reviews, about cleanliness, I found the apartment to be impeccably clean. Also, I saw reviews regarding the space feeling dark without windows, and although there’s no windows, you can see out of, a decent amount of light flows in. As other reviews stated, the master bedroom’s mattress is thin and should be replaced.
- Mindy (7/5): Excellent location, but feels like living in a cave - We stayed here for 3 weeks and there were definitely pros and cons. Both Cecilia and Mr. Pietro had excellent communication. We were late arriving and he waited for us at check in. The location is perfect, right between Piazza Navona and the Pantheon. Close to grocery stores and shops. All of the appliances worked well, with lots of hot water and excellent WiFi. The apartment is very large with lots of space. Because we were there for a long term stay, we had 2 days of cleaning service, which was very nice. But the apartment feels like you’re living in a cave. It is very humid, which creates a musty smell, and makes the sheets feel damp. There isnt much ventilation, since the transoms only open a crack. So to get any fresh air, you have to open the front door (but then you get fumes from the motorcycles). There isnt much light, unlike in the photos. However the biggest problem is the mattress in the big bedroom, it is very old and thin and the springs are pushing through. I wouldn’t recommend staying here until the mattress is replaced. The kitchen was also difficult, there are no drawers, and no cabinets to hold any food. It was missing several things we felt were necessary, so we purchased them and left them for the next person. The cookware is warped and mis-matched, broken handles. Many of the dishes are chipped. We found cooking a meal to be difficult at times. I would say this is a great place to stay for a few nights, but not for a long term stay. For the price we paid, I dont think we would return.
- Eve (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ashleigh (8/5): Excellent location, comfortable accommodation -
- Vanessa (8/5): Very good -
- Mohd (7/5): Good -
- Mirjam (6/5): Pleasant - Top location, clean apartment, very kind and responsive stuff. Apartment looks totaly different in real, compared to photos. It is dark and in the basement and the only way to get some fresh air is to open the front door.
- Mohd (7/5): Location is a 9 out of 10 for this apartment - Cecilia is an excellent host and very responsive from booking until we left the apartment even though we had some issues with the WIFI coverage . Also it was easy on key handover as Signore Pietro who was the caretaker was responsive and waited for us .Excellent whatapp communication until we arrive at the apartment .
We stayed for a total of 10 days and the apartment is comfortable but definitely need some refurbishment . What I definitely love about the apartment is the location .. I will give a 9 out of 10 for the location of the apartment as its central and within walking distance to all places we want to visit .
1.Kitchen facilities was complete and functional.
2. Washing Machine was working well
3. Bathroom is clean and shower pressure is good . In my personal opinion, I will summary below what would be have made the apartment amazing and more comfortable for all future guests.
1. Apartment needs a fresh coat of paints.
2. The Main bedroom bed is too soft and I think older folks will struggle with it . I think the bed springs are worn out and a new bed would be more comfortable for the moan guest who sleeps in the main bedroom
3. The main bedroom needs an additional cabinet as there is only one hanger closet and no place to put your others cloths. Maybe another suggestion is to get rid of the baby cot was it takes up space and put a cabinet there .
4. A wall mirror in bedroom would be good . No mirror in the bedroom. except in bathroom .
5. No hangers to hangout towels top dry in the bathroom. A couple of hooks in the bathroom will definitely help us all.
6. We had WIFI connection and Coverage issue for the 1st 7 days of our stay . Cecilia was responsive and tried to assist in resolving the internet issue during the 7 days and at last , she had to call in the WIFI Operator to replace the modem. At that , we had better WIFI coverage in the apartment . I do hope the future guest can share their review on the WIFI coverage and advise if its ok now .
7. I notice we only get a limited mobile operator coverage when we are in the apartment . Nothing to do with the apartment but I believe we are in one of the blind spot areas for mobile operators and mobile operator coverage in the apartment is very bad. I hope future guests can also share their opinion on the mobile phone coverage in their reviews esp when they are in the apartment .
A little bit of noise at night as its on the ground floor and you can hear people walking and talking but I expected that from all the earlier reviews of the place . Slightly more noise level on weekend as there are a few restaurant nearby and you can hear people walking and talking until 2 am at night . Personally. that's didn't bother me too much.
- Lorena (3/5): DIRTY!! DO NOT STAY HERE - The apartment was generally spacious. However, the bedroom in the back was cramped. The AC worked well. The front bedroom had nice curtains to make the room dark for sleeping. The area wasn't too loud, and was generally quiet after the restaurants at the end of the alley closed. The showers had good water pressure. We chose this area because it was central to places we were visiting in Rome. We were greeted by Pietro and he showed us how to use the AC and where everything was in the apartment. The apartment was very dirty. The dust on the overhead steel bars was so thick that it would float down on us when the air conditioner was on. We would not sit on the couch because the arms were crusty with dirt, and it smelled like dirty feet and body odor. The back bedroom had a large, open metal grill in the transom above the door to the utility closet, where the washer was located, that had no curtain or way of covering it; so it was bright early in that room. The metal grill was covered in dust so thick that when the door to the utility room was opened or closed the dust would float down into the room. The floors hadn't been mopped properly in a while. I dropped one of my wet towels on the floor in the front bedroom and it was gray when I picked it up. There was a large gouge in the wall of the front bedroom that needs to be repaired. There were multiple places that looked like black mold was growing throughout the apartment. Our bed was uncomfortable. The mattress was old, saggy and a spring was poking me in the rib most of the time I slept. There were no hooks or bars to hang towels in the front bathroom. The hot water would not last through a shower. I had to constantly change the dial to keep from freezing or scalding. When we returned from our tour the first afternoon there were 2 men sitting on the front door of the apartment that our tour guide chased away. Then I understood the need for all the security cameras in the alley, and I didn't feel safe. Considering how dirty everything else was in the apartment we were not very confident that the dishes had been properly cleaned, and used the kitchen very little. There were several notes in the apartment or sent to me after our stay encouraging us to rate the place a 4 out of 5 because hosted rooms/apartments are rated differently from hotels. I disagree. If a place is dirty, it's dirty; whether it's a hotel, apartment, home, or a palace.
- Maria (10/5): Great! - Close to everything No clothes dryer 😀 one bathroom toilet had issue & the mgt got it fix asap.
- Roberta (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jennifer (9/5): Central location with all you need outside your door - Convenient location with shops, restaurants and attractions nearby. Communication was very good from start to finish.
- Kieran (8/5): Good location lots of space would recommend - Clean great location Air conditioning not working in back bedroom
- Elaine (10/5): A Roman Retreat - The property was spacious and a wonderful location, near restaurants and Navona Square. We were met at the property when we arrived and were able to leave our luggage so we could not be burdened as we walked around and familiarized ourselves with the location. There is not much to not like about Navano Square apartment. We did have a few suggestions for the host, one of which is that they check the temperature of the shower in the bathroom by the twin beds so that it could be adjusted to be a comfortable temperature. Since we often stay in locations where we feel like Residents this location was excellent. The only inconveniences is having to take the trash a few blocks away to the supermarket and deposit it in the public trash cans. But, we chalked that up to one of the experiences of living in Rome, we presume.
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional - Easy to get keys
- Yvonne (9/5): Superb -
- Sophie (9/5): Superb -
- Stoyanka (10/5): Spacious two-bed, two-bath apartment in an excellent location. Friendly host. - The apartment was spacious, comfortable, and very clean, and the location was simply excellent. There were just three of us but the second bathroom was critical for our teenage granddaughter. Our host was responsive to our needs. We very much enjoyed our stay.

- Eliza (10/5): This property is absolutely fabulous, the location is perfect for Rome, I have stayed in time many times in hotels and o - This property is absolutely fabulous, the location is perfect for Rome, I have stayed in time many times in hotels and other apartments and this by far was my most favourite. Firstly there are no stairs! So lots of luggage no problems! Piazza navona a stones throw away, trevi fountain 6min walk, also very close to bus stop 6 on the red big bus tour so perfect if you like to use these busses to get around (which is definitely easier with kids in tow) our check in was seamless and Pietro and Cecilia were wonderful hosts. cecilia was very accommodating and none of our requests were a problem she organised all of our transfers and her communication was fantastic. Next time I come to Rome I will book here again. If I could give 11 starts I would. Ok so I’m being picky but The only thing we found difficult was possibly the middle section between the kitchen and lounge room (where the fold out couch is) the wall doesn’t reach the ceiling so sound can travel which is hard with three kids who like silence to sleep - would be better if wall went to ceiling instead of being privacy screen style.
Also the fold out couch mattress of not comfortable at all, my kids didn’t mind it but when I had to sleep with them one night it was not suitable for me, I would recommend a new mattress for this
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - It is a large well-equipped apartment in a very central location, 5 min of walking from Piazza Navona.
Good communication with the owner who was always ready to answer my questions.

- Nuala (10/5): Perfect for a family stay in Rome - A comfortable and spacious apartment, very well located, within a few minutes walk of Piazza Navona and the Pantheon. Colosseum, Roman Forum, Vatican, Villa Borghese all within 30 minutes walk. Plenty of lovely restaurants, pizzerias, cafes, shops close by. The hosts were easy to contact and facilitated us with an early check in. The apartment is well serviced, clean, warm, with all facilities needed. Would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.
- Nikki (10/5): a wonderful few days in Rome made even better by staying in this lovely appartment in the city centre - lovely, quirky appartment in central Rome. Perfect location for sightseeing and enjoying New Year celebrations
super helpful hosts, very accommodating and welcoming when we first arrived. nothing, it was just perfect.
