• Jessica (9/5): Sehr gut! Würde ich jedem empfehlen. - Die Unterkunft war wundervoll. Es war alles vor Ort, was für einen Aufenthalt in Rom benötigt wird. Laura und Ihr Freund waren sehr hilfsbereit und haben uns sogar einige Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt gegeben inkl. Stadtplan. Es sind reichlich Handtücher/Bettsachen und Küchenequipment vorhanden. Durch die Nähe zum Kolloseum ist man überall schnell gewesen. TOP! ☺️ Nachts ist es etwas lauter, da man im Zentrum ist. Uns hat es aber überhaupt nicht gestört und wir konnten gut schlafen.

• Ivan (10/5): - The apartment is located in a quiet area near the Colosseum and the Foro Romano. It features spacious three bedrooms, a living room, and two bathrooms. The metro is just around the corner. In the adjacent building there is an excellent bistro Benso for both breakfast and dinner. A great place to spend a few days in Rome.

We walked to and from the train station, but the subway was also available across the street. Everything we needed was a few minutes walk. Everything was great.

It is within easy walking distance of the greatest places of ancient Rome and well located for public transport. The owners' personal connection with the apartment makes it a special place. Apartment very clean and well equipped if you want to make breakfast or small meal for yourself Very well positioned for some fabulous restaurants in the surrounding streets and a supermarket just across from the apartment. Metro access within a few metres, and only one stop to Termini Station for all transport options. Very close to Coloseum and other attractions so convenient for walking distance. Our host Laura and her colleague gave us some really invaluable and useful information during our check in, which helped understanding transport options and great places to vist Can not find fault with anything. • Ionut (10/5): Excellent location, we visited all the tourist attractions in the old town on foot. - Very nice, clean and spacious apartment. We were 4 people and the existence of 2 bathrooms was an advantage. Although we were mostly out in the city to visit some of the many historical attractions and to enjoy Italian cuisine (there are plenty of restaurants in the area), I must mention that the apartment also has a fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable living room. Thank you Laura for hosting and for arranging the transfer from / to the airport. When we visit Rome again, this apartment will definitely be the first option.

The apartment was very well maintained, thoroughly clean and had all the equipment we needed. We easily cooked full meals in the kitchen. Centrally located near the Colosseum. Quite high above the street, enjoyable street views. Neighbourhood with restaurants and bar/cafes in the streets behind. Our welcome by Laura was warm and helpful. We were really glad to arrive at this apartment and to spend time here!

The rooms are beautifully designed and decorated, kitchen very well equipped and the bathrooms extremely clean. We have felt very welcome by Laura, the host, who also helped us to arrange shuttle transport for the airport. She also allowed later check-out, so we could leave our luggage until the flight was due. N/A

• Margaret (9/5): A spotlessly clean and comfortable home from home in the heart of Rome. - The location was fantastic, Right in the centre of Rome, within walking distance of the Colosseum, the Forum and Termini railway station. The Cavour Metro station was very close by. The flat had triple glazed windows so it was quiet with no disturbance from the street even though it was on a busy road. There was a good quality supermarket immediately opposite for food shopping and many nice restaurants nearby. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming and met us on arrival. The daughter speaks good English, her mother was less fluent.. The rooms were spacious, light and comfortable. It was spotlessly clean. Plenty of coat hangers and wardrobe space were provided. The apartment is generally well equipped and many things seem to be brand new. I have only a few suggestions for improvement to the provision of kitchen/ dining utensils. The most obvious omission was the lack of a chopping board or bread board. The tumblers were rather too small and the wine glasses were very large. The spatula was metal but the nice new frying pans are non-stick and will surely soon become scratched unless a wooden or plastic spatula is provided. There is bed space for 6 people but the provision of plates and mugs is a bit meagre of 6. It was fine for 4 people. A tray would have been very useful. as we had to carry everything from the kitchen to the dining room, two people being the maximum number that can eat in the kitchen. These are all small points that can easily be rectified in what was generally a very good place to stay. The most serious inconvenience was the lift. One of our group was on crutches and you have to climb 12 steps from the front door to get to the lift which is at the back of the house. The lift is also very small with awkward inner opening doors which restricts its capacity to about two people, especially with luggage. It was expensive but given its location and that Rome is an expensive city, I accept that it was value for money. We were a group of 4. It would not be good value for fewer than 4 guests. With 5 or 6 people it would be much better value but needs a few additional plates in the kitchen (See above).
• Marie (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic 3 bedroom apartment in an area close to Colessum with the metro close by. Only one stop to Termi station. Supermarket across the road. Very well equipped apartment. Sometimes there is street noise, but as we were so tired it didn't bother us. As the saying goes, you can't have everything.

• Linda (9/5): A great apartment in a perfect central location - Location was amazing, just 6 min walk from Colosseum, right beside an underground station and opposite a supermarket. Three large king sized bedrooms, 2 reception areas, a kitchen and 2 shower rooms. We liked the recycling bins in the kitchen. Nothing to dislike but we did wonder why cutlery, saucepans etc were wrapped in plastic? We didn’t feel this was necessary and it didn’t make us feel like cutlery & plans were any cleaner.

Laura, the host, was always accessible for questions and suggestion - The location of this property is excellent, walking distance from Rome most popular attractions and transportation hubs as Roma termini train station and some subway lines. • Helena (8/5): Very good - The apartment was well located in the Monti area and very, very clean. The Colosseum is a 5 minute walk away and there is a very good supermarket across the road. There are many eating and drinking establishments behind the apartment and make sure to explore the many lane ways. A few doors up there is a rooftop bar at the Monti Palace Hotel with a view out to the Monument to Victor Emmanuel ll The water pressure of the shower was a little weak for my liking

Two of our party have trouble with stairs, so the only answer is the elevator Unfortunately other people in the building can't seem to figure out that both doors have to be closed for the elevator to work.

• Diane (10/5): Absolute gem of an apartment - Brilliant location and such a fabulous apartment. if you like spacious, high-ceilinged rooms, you will love this place: the bedrooms are light and airy - just such a feeling of grandeur. Very comfortable beds. Air-conditioning/heating works well. Old-style shutters on the windows to help keep heat out if needed Two bathrooms is a bonus. Spare pillows and duvets. Decent kitchen (if a little narrow). Owners have thought of everything, including brollies by the door. So many good restaurants nearby and apartment is steps away from Metro. 10 mins from Colosseum and only around 20 mins from Trevi fountain. Couldn't ask for better. Busy street so some noise at night (although the shutters do block much of this and we didn't mind the noise). No room to eat in kitchen but good sized table in living room and we ate out most nights anyway. Be prepared to pay extra city tax in cash.

Only a short walk to excellent bars an restaurants. Air conditioning/heating in all bedrooms/ living areas. Netflix available on the television (Free). Well appointed kitchen and utensils. Well stocked shop on opposite side of the road. The host organised our transfers to and from the airport. Nothing much. 71steps to climb if you don’t fancy using the lift, but it’s your choice.
