Guest Reviews
- Ondřej (10/5): -
- Julie (8/5): - Lovely big, clean apartment. Comfortable beds. Location very good. The little extras like complementary coffee, biscuits and sachets of jam. Nice touch.
- Andrea (10/5): The best choice in Rome - The best location in the city, right near the most important sights. Very cozy apartment. The staff is very friendly.
- GRIGORIS (9/5): Good balance for everything - The apt was easy to find, given clear instructions with videos for the check in, communication was top, the location itself was very quiet, I like it being close to Trastevere, about location is in the middle of everything else so you can mainly walk around, we had excellent and good price breakfast at Gran Caffè Rione VIII 3 min away. The apt had separate single beds for our 2 kids which was ideal for us. We ate only out so we did not use the kitchen but it looked fully equipped, bathroom and shower very good, only one flight of stairs to reach the apt.
- Jarka (9/5): Lovely appartment in rome historic centre - Property was lovely, clean, had everything we needed and was excellent location in the city centre, walking distance to everything we wanted to see, didnt need to use any transport for our stay. Also loved cafe called slow couple minutes away where we had breakfast every day. Host communicated quickly about everything we needed. There was nothing we disliked
Gracias.
- Rebeca (9/5): -
- Lachezar (8/5): - The size of the apartment. The location.

- Joseph (10/5): Great location, easy access instructions, very nice host! - Amazing location and great host Nothing it was perfect
- Mariusz (9/5): -
- Catherine (8/5): Wonderful time spent in Rome at a lovely safe apartment. - The location is great, it was very clean, plenty of basics for cooking etc, comfortable beds and climate, good water pressure Not a dislike really it was just quite expensive as it’s certainly clean but not fancy for the most part, amenities on more basic side but perfectly serviceable.
- Brett (9/5): - Great location on a quiet street in a neighborhood that has a lot less tourists than other neighborhoods. The apartment was a very nice secure space. Beds were comfortable and comfortably slept our family of 4.
- Anne (9/5): Nothing is too much trouble for this team - The apartment was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. I had to report a fault late at night - no hot water - but this had been resolved by early morning. The managers and maintenance team are the best! Nothing
- Armine (7/5): We had great time in Sant’ Angelo Apartment. Thanks a lot. - The apartment was cozy, clean, with great location and very responsive and friendly staff. Thanks for hosting us. There were no hangers in the bathroom to hang the towels and the apartment was a little humid.
- Pierre-etienne (8/5): Very good - Up
It is placed in the historic center. Every interest location were under 15-20min of walk.
It is juste 1st floor, easier to climb with big baguages.
Tips and advices from owner were pretty clear.
Down:
Toilets door doesnt close.
Television only in italian without possibilité of VO.
Noisy street in the morning (but that prove it is lifely one !)
- Lamdan (10/5): If I could rate it 11/10 I would- perfect for a stay, close to everything and just a really nice apartment overall. - Everything in the property was perfect- the natural lighting, the comfy bed, the facilities, the friendliness of the apartment holders and the location. we enjoyed everything about it. it was perfect!
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, very bright apparťment
- Rutie (7/5): Good -
- Alexandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leon (10/5): Exceptional - Big apartment, easy to access, great location, brilliant communication with the host and very clean Just a small problem with the hot water but the host fixed it immediately remotely
- Yusuke (7/5): Good -
- Tessa (1/5): Don’t waste your money - The ONLYYYYY thing I can say about this property that is good is the location. I don’t know where to begin. First let’s start with the address not matching what is on booking.com. The locks for the doors need fixed it’s very hard to lock and unlock them. Then we get there and there is a very weird smell coming from the apartment. After a long day of traveling all we wanted to do was shower and get some food. Go to do that and there is no hot water. I was asked to find troubleshoot it myself and with no luck she said a person wouldn’t be able to come til the next day past 11am. Keep in mind we would already be out sightseeing so no warm water to shower with til night 2. When that issue was resolved the water pressure was almost none existent, a dribble of you will. you were lucky to have warm water for your entire shower. Now let’s move to the room. The AC is a portable unit that a tube hangs out the window so your window has to be open the entire time. Also right out the window is the neighbors birds who are so loud you can’t sleep the moment they are out in the cage. Usually about 530-6 AM everyday. We were curious why the apartment provided ear plugs on arrival. We then realized why. I hope you don’t plan to sleep. The walls/windows are so thin you hear every noise. The trash truck included. The bed was very uncomfortable and the blanket provided was stained and had nasty yellow spots everywhere. Really disgusting. I’m very very unhappy with the entire experience. The apartment is not in the condition as described on their booking page.
- Dmitry (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful place has a small kitchen, a refrigerator, coffee machine we found it very comfortable. Also the place in the center of historical center. We have unforgettable vacation. It is suitable to celebrate Shabath , near to kosher restaurants and sinagogue, we just feel like at home
- Wayne (9/5): Great Location | Nice place to stay - Recommended. - The place is clean and comfortable. The location is great - right next to a Roman ruin and on the edge of the old Jewish Getto. Perfect for the kosher traveller. We could walk to all the main sites quite easily (Colosseum, Trevi fountain, Vatican City). The host is quick to respond. We appreciated the little extras they provided (slippers, coffee pods, nutella sachets, biscuits). We enjoyed our stay here. The bathroom door slides open/closed with no latch and does not close properly. This did not affect us but be aware. The beds were clean but the pillows are tired and need an upgrade (I was OK with them but my wife said they had a smell to them).
- Don (8/5): Apartment in the Jewish Quarter, Rome - The location in the historic Jewish Quarter was ideal and having an ancient temple right outside our window was amazing. We were able to walk to most places (even though using Google maps was a nightmare in Rome!) and the apartment itself was spacious. The bed was comfortable and, once the local restaurants closed, the area was quiet enough to get a good sleep. We also liked the vines with fragrant flowers outside our windows...and have give a big "thumbs up" to the wonderful bakery just around the corner...best hot chocolate! The locks on the 3 sets of doors to enter the apartment need modernising. I appreciate history, however, they were not only aggravating but ate up time, which is precious when you have tour groups to meet. The other thing that needs addressing is the "air conditioning." A plug in "cooling unit" isn't really up to it. Luckily, it wasn't too hot and there was a little breeze when we left the windows open. The only other concern was communication with the management/owners...or lack of. Once we were settled in, that was the end of the contact. For visitors from other countries who need fast response to questions, this may not be the place for you.
- Alona (7/5): Good - The location The water in the shower was cold
And the bad is uncomfortable
There was a bed smell in the entrance
- Nick (9/5): Great apartment in excellent location - We stayed second time in this apartment. Location is excellent and apartment is comfortable.
Host was helpful with our requests. Some nights were a bit nosy from restaurant downstairs
- Maurene (8/5): Spacious, quiet, great location - We really enjoyed our stay. It is right next to some Roman ruins, but on a tiny quiet side street. Many sights within 500 meters or so. Spacious, airy, remarkably quiet at night, fantastic location. Up one flight of stairs. No door or curtain on bedroom.
- Anne (8/5): Lovely city centre studio - The communication with the host was excellent. The instructions for entry were given in great detail, and when a plumbing problem occurred, it was reported and repaired within a few hours. The studio was spacious, airy, bright and comfortable. The only thing that could have been better was the shower. The shower head wouldn't stay upright and the flow could have been stronger; however, it was easy to operate and find the right water temperature.
It was a pity that the compostible recycling had to sit in the lobby; it began to smell a bit towards the end, but presumably the residents have no control over collection times.
- Maha (8/5): Highly recommend - Very clean and good location The heater sometimes stop working
- Jack (8/5): Very good -
- Alexandre (8/5): Very good -
- Adnan (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing place and fantastic location. In the heart of Rome, all attractions are within walking distance. Great coffee, food, bars, life around you as you would've imagined in movies. Also Denisse is the kindest owner you'll meet. She proactively guides you and makes this trip down to Rome worth it.
- Medhat (7/5): Was nice - The location is excellent and u can walk to the nearby attractions. Place is too small. We couldn’t check in until we paid an additional 72 Euros of taxes which I thought should have been included in the rate I already paid.
- Salome (10/5): Exceptional -
- Abraham (4/5): Disappointing - We could not use the only WC for half of our stay as it was broken. We had to go around looking for a bathroom.
- Scott (3/5): Poor -
- Danielle (8/5): Very good -
- Katju (5/5): Passable -
- Julia (7/5): Fantastic location and brillliant host. Very reactive to any problems. - The location was second to none. The photos are somewhat misleading. Not as luxurious - very basic.
- Robert (9/5): Great place in unique and lovely part of Rome - Clean spacious unit in great old building. Neighbourhood is fantastic, historic archaeology just 50m from site. One thing only- shower floor is very very slick- needs a non slip cover of some type to prevent falls.
- Shira (7/5): Great location, wish the treatment would be more human. - The location, was very good, close to the jewish ghetto. First, she knew we're going to be 3 people, there was a room with a big comfy bed. However, the third one had to sleep on the thinnest matt ever! and make her own bed.
Second, the water was freezing the first two nights. We tried to text/call her, no response.
She sent a person that said everything okay - she did not ask us what's the problem.
So, we had to stay over to wait AGAIN for the guy to come and explain to him what is the issue.
Only then it was fixed and Europe's water are known for how freezing they are! so the showers were horruble and don't forget? mid July we were sweating...
- Maria (10/5): Lovely stay - Great location! And it had everything for a perfect visit in rome. Everything was good
- Min (9/5): Superb - Very comfortable and host very helpful provided lots of helpful info
- Rumi (5/5): Passable - The location was great. You just walk out of the building and it is very close to restaurants and walking distance to most attractions. A few minutes walk to Trastevere as well. There was an espresso coffee machine with 6 capsules left. The air conditioning in one of the rooms was not working properly and also it was very loud. It was a window unit.
The apartment is very small for 6 people. There is no air conditioning in the living room, so it was very hot. It was just one of those days when there were heat waves in Europe, so air conditioning was really needed. The air conditioning in one of the bedrooms was working good. The hot water was sporadic, so we were taking cold showers for the 4 days we spent there. The host was nice but when we complained about the air conditioning and hot water, she responded to give some time to the air conditioner to cool off the room and asked to send her a picture of the hot water boiler. She did not do anything about the hot water. I would not recommend this apartment.
- Lina (9/5): Superb -
- Traci (10/5): Exceptional -
- Keith (5/5): A basic appartment with all the essentials in a good location. - The location was very good and some of the ancient parts of the city were within 20m of the appartment. The Pantheon was only a 5 minute walk. The approach to and the shared entrance to the appartment was very shabby, with an array of dustbins just within the doorway. The room itself had all the basic requirements, but the portable air conditioning unit was quite noisy and not very effective. The bathroom was not of a great standard.
- Daniel (6/5): Pleasant -
- Karen (9/5): fabulous location and perfect for our 3 night stay - the host included lots of extras that really made a lovely gesture.
- Jan (8/5): Very good - Location is very good: it's a very quiet street (no cars), if you like to have calm stay in the city centre, don't hesitate. We were really impressed by this. On top off, the appartment is perfectly located to walk to almost all highlights of Rome.
Appartment was very clean. Boiler in the bathroom is a little noisy.
- Elizabeth (8/5): Very good - I was grateful the heat came on in the evening - it would have been chilly, otherwise.
- Leah (9/5): A nicely decorated, lovely place for a couple looking for a getaway in Rome. - It was a sweet, comfortable apartment and the location was fantastic. Hot water was iffy.
Instructions to light the gas fireplace would have been nice, but overall a lovely place.
- Susan (9/5): Superb -
- Matt (8/5): Plenty of space in a great spot. - Great location in the Jewish Ghetto. Easy walk to any of the central Rome attractions (we walked to the Colosseum, Forum, Campo de Fiori, Piazza Novona, Trevi Fountain, etc). Only place we took the bus was to Vatican City. Most nights were fairly quiet (bedroom on corner lets ALL the noise in, other bedroom isn't as bad), but hosts left earplugs in the apartment which were a lifesave on New Years Eve (some kids had a loud party in the street about 50m away). Kitchen was well equipped with basics for making breakfast each day and included some coffee. There is limited seating at the table, but we ate all meals except breakfast our of the apartment. I wouldn't stay here if you're looking for a place for a large family to relax in the aparment. I WOULD stay here if you plan to spend your time exploring the city as we did. One small problem: The showers were very low pressure and inconsistent temperature, which made bathing kids a challenge.
- Menachem (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful and clean place, close to all interesting places.
The service of the owner of the apartment was excellent and met all expectations. Recommended place!
- Denise (8/5): Extremely good - The location was superb and it was a safe and interesting place with good facilities. just small things but the door lock was a bit tricky & the fridge a bit noisy
- Alma (10/5): Nice and comfortable in an excellent location. - location
- Rachel (8/5): Very good -
- Valerie (6/5): I will stick to hotels from now where there is more recourse with the accommodations. - We had a little kitchenette which was nice. The ceilings were very tall. The host was great at ordering taxis for us to and from the airport. It ended up being in a good location. The apartment was hard to enter. ( the host appeared to leave out one critical piece of information about entering. Luckily someone came along to help us.) It had no view except of other buildings. The picture makes the space looks much lighter and brighter than it was. The bathroom had a tile that was broken on a step up inside which made it annoying.
- Artem (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alba (7/5): Good - great location A bit noisy at night
