Guest Reviews
- Ionel (5/5): Not sure what to say - I had mixed feelings about my stay at St. Petrus et Aurelia. While communication with the host was good, at times it felt a bit too pushy, which detracted from the overall experience. The property needs a serious cleaning overhaul — chairs were dirty, and we even found a spider web inside. The overall cleanliness level was disappointing.
The listing photos are misleading. Some pictures show nice furniture that wasn't present in our room, while other rooms appeared poorly furnished. The 13th picture shows a terrace view that simply doesn't exist. Additionally, the courtyard is shared with someone living on the first floor — this was never mentioned beforehand.
On the positive side, a few pieces of furniture from the photos were present, but overall the presentation is far from accurate. Given the condition and misleading information, the price feels way too expensive for what is actually offered.
Would not recommend unless significant improvements are made — especially regarding honesty in the listing and basic cleanliness.

- Rudolf (10/5): perfect - perfect nothing

Niks.
- Russell (10/5): Mira was a great host. Would highly recommend to anyone else! - Great location
- Raffael (10/5): Convenient location, comfortable, very helpful and kind owner, made us fresh jam tart. -

- Edwin (9/5): Fabulous Holiday with group of friends 🥰😍😘 - The owner is very helpful in assisting guest at anytime , she also sent several information even before you arrive.
The owner make sure the guess is up to date .
The owner also gives information for new travellers .
The owner is very nice and very friendly.

- Collin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christina (10/5): Exceptional - Layout for a large group, garden, location was outside of the crowded areas of Rome but easy to get around to all the sites, the host - Mira is awesome!
- Deborah (10/5): Our one week Roman holiday. - The apartment was just like it looks in the pictures. It was very nice, comfortable with plenty of room. The best part was Mira. She was a wonderful host, and helped us find some of the best things about Rome. Nothing.
- Nagesh (10/5): One of the most oustanding stay i ever had - The Host is truly amazing. she goes that extra mile to make sure that all your comforts are met. we were on a trip to celebrate an important personal event. she took all the efforts and made arrangements to make this event memorable. I can rate her us one of the best host i have ever met. The property location is amazing , just a walking distance from Vatican city. The rooms are clean , cozy and comfortable. The host was always available and quick to respond to our every need.
- Zhang (10/5): Super good! - It was so good! The flat is much more beautiful than in the pictures. The location is very near to Vatican and it was very comfortable und convenient. Mira and her husband are super kind and helpful. We are so satisfied with this trip and will book that again if we come back. My son likes the babybett very much:) I could just recommend this flat to others👍🏽
- Otilia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amelia (10/5): Comfortable, calm, wonderful - a great oasis in the big city! - Beds were comfortable, great water pressure, quiet, very calm after coming home from the bustling city. Mira and her husband showed us a great place to eat and gave info on how to get to some of the big sites. Also found a driver for us to get back to the airport. It was a wonderful stay. Not a big problem - but there were a lot of mosquitos in the patio area. My son spent a lot of time out there trying to catch small lizards and got multiple bites. - so if you want to hang out there big spray may be a good idea.
- Jeff (10/5): This place and host is a gem. I hope to return in the near future! - The house is beautiful and has everything necessary, and more! The patio was an added bonus for relaxing and socializing. Location was perfetto for great restaurants, coffee/pastry shops, bus stops, near the Vatican, etc. Mira was an awesome host and very accommodating. She gave us a tour of some Roman highlights and went out of her way to help retrieve lost luggage from the train so we could focus on our visit in Rome. Nothing!
- Pedro (8/5): Great location and awesome hostess - Mira is the best Hostess ever. She can do an extra step to help.
- Bruce (10/5): We would reserve this home again. - We had a lovely time staying in the 3 bedroom house. The hostess Mira and her family were very kind and assisted us in many ways, The walk to St. Peters was a short 15-20 min. We are thankful to Mira for a lovely restaurant suggestion. In hindsight we should have had more meals there. No comments
- Shannon (10/5): We will stay again if we return to Rome and recommend Mira and her property to friends. - It was ideally located near the Vatican. We loved the outdoor area which was shaded and comfortable with plenty of seating for our large family. We enjoyed making coffee, or drinks and relaxing outside or around the main dining table. The bathrooms and shower were updated and warm with a strong flow of water. Mira gave us personal touches at every turn. She helped find transportation out of town, had great restaurant recommendations, and made homemade tiramisu for our son’s birthday. We loved our stay. No negatives.
- Barbora (9/5): Superb - We were lucky to fine this amazing gem right next to Vatican – St. Petrus et Aurelia – for our group of 6 people. Beautiful apartment with 3 bedrooms (one had also kitchen), 3 bathrooms, living room and kitchen and beautiful terrace seating around whole apartment.
Location was strategic and easy to walk to all main sights in Rome (or with close by bus or train station). Apartment was cozy, clean, fully equipped, we found there everything we needed for our stay.
Absolute bonus of this place is its host Mira who gave us amazing tips what to see (and we would not find it ourselves, what would be really shame), how to get everywhere, even provided with tips for cooking pasta. Mira offered us her help and her knowledge of the city. We felt like visiting a friend there, not having a host the apartment.
If anytime travelling in group of 5-6, I would recommend staying in this place. You won’t regret it.
- Maria (10/5): Very nice place in Rome to stay for couple, or family, or group of friends! - Very nice, comfortable and clean apartment for group of 6. It consisted of 2 individual apartments linked through the entry hall. So, all in all, we had 3 bedrooms (equipped with airconditioners) and 3 bathrooms, one big and one smaller living rooms with kitchens. All clean, equipped with cutlery, glasses, pots, plates etc.
Although this is a historical building, it is well renovated, so one can enjoy a very comfortable stay. It’s a pity it was cold when we came - otherwise we would definitely use a patio for morning coffee 😊😊
Very charming and hospitable owner, Mira, is one of the best hosts ever. She replayed fast and clear to the messages before our arrival. Mira gave us great advices about neighbourhood, public transport, restaurants… Any question we had, we could ask her. Thank you so much, Mira! We liked everything.
- Mohit (10/5): Memorable and super comfortable - The whole experience about the property and the Host Mira was exceptional. The villa was clean and kitchen was fully functional.
The property is next to Vatican city and well connected to other parts of Rome through bus.
Mira was an out of the world host. She was super helpful anytime and for anything related to Rome.
- Ziersen (10/5): Exceptional - Nice apartment, good mattresses, lots of bathrooms, and the kitchen equipped so you can cook. We really enjoyed the terrace in the warm weather. Host Mira is exceptionally attentive and provided an exceptionally nice service for us. Absolutely recommended.
- Maria (10/5): Great - It was very clean and comfortable. Mira and her husband were very nice and accommodating. They went the extra mile to take care of us. I liked everything.
- Mike (10/5): a great time in a larger property ! - We had a wonderful stay! Mira was super nice, friendly and helpful. We felt like we made a good friend, And her pet chicken was too cute.
Bus 46 brings you to older downtown where many of the traditional sights were. Walking would have and was good but we arrived during a heat wave and the bus was nice at times.
Mira also had a outdoor patio that was very comfortably and allowed the 6 of us to talk about the day, relax and plan for activities.
Mira arranged transportation from airport and to cruise port; even assisted with grocery shopping.
Hope to see you again Mira, best wishes!!
- Skygoddess (8/5): Rustic, comfortable, kind host. Two apartments for the price of one. - Mira was an excellent host. She picked us and our luggage at the San Pietro train station and showed us the property. She brought us some dinner the first night and brought extra coffee in the morning. The property is a 17th century convent with modern kitchen and bathrooms. Beds were comfortable and the tv's were in the bedrooms (no English channels, though). It was nice having breakfast outside on the patio in the garden. The area seemed safe and the building was secluded with an entry gate. Good air conditioning during a heatwave. This property is actually two separate units across an entry foyer from each other. Ours had two bedrooms (2 twins, one queen), 2 bathrooms, a kitchen/living and dining space. The other suite had one bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and dining space. This is a great setup for older travelers who would appreciate the extra space, but with younger kids we ended up in the two-bedroom suite and we did not use the other bedroom (that we had expected and paid for). The queen bedroom in the 2-bedroom suite also faces a busy road. Without a car, plan to use taxis as public transportation is a bit far.
- Elaine (10/5): Amazing place and amazing people. - Beautiful place, quiet and lots of space. Well looked after. A/c in each bedroom.
The owners are very helpful and thoughtful. Helped us throughout our stay. Even dropped us at the Vatican for morning tour, let us use stroller which saved us from carrying the young one.
Bus close by to go to main city attractions. Nothing
- Paula (10/5): A fantastic location with an even more fantadtic host. Mira is an absolute star and one the nicest people we have ever m -
- Monika (10/5): Pilgrims from Croatia
 - An excellent location that also offers parking, an extremely beautiful ambience and atmosphere. The hosts are very kind, hospitable and full of advice for all our queries. Absolute recommendation for everyone, especially families who come on pilgrimage to the Vatican.
- Ieva (10/5): Amazing place to stay in Rome! - Thank you Mira for your help, hospitality and care throughout our stay in Rome. The apartment was wonderful, as was its host. Only the best impressions, recommendations and wishes from all of us. We really hope to come back again! -
- Ionut (10/5): We want to come back! 😊 - Located in the city center, from where you have quick access to any tourist objective want’s to check off.
A very comfortable villa where you feel exactly how you should feel when visiting Rome.
Mira is a wonderful host, always ready to help and gives advice about Rome.
- Debbie (10/5): Wonderful host and beautiful accommodation - Staying in Mira’s accommodation was one of the best decisions we made on our holiday. Mira is a lovely host, is incredibly welcoming, with the BBQ being one of the highlights of Rome (and our Europe trip!). Accommodation is beautiful, close to Vatican, and very comfortable. Mira was also super helpful with arranging airport transport, trips to the supermarket, and going above and beyond to meet our needs. Absolutely fantastic, and would 10/10 recommend to anyone. Nothing. Had a wonderful time.
- Thuy (10/5): Perfect 😊 Mira was the best host i could have asked for. - spacious rooms with big windows and doors. Mira has prepared everything for us as we arrived so there was nothing to complain 😊❤️ Mira drove us to our check point for our Vatican tour and was always there when we needed help. Besides, her pet Rosita and Cookies are adorable!!! nothing except for the mosquitoes, but it was not that bad.
- Anna (10/5): Wonderful stay at historic site - Mira and her husband were wonderful hosts.
The apartment was very clean and there was everything we needed for a 3 days stay. Air condition, hair dryer, washing machine for a longer stay.
But: My kids were disappointed that we could not have Mira‘s chicken for barbecue - just joking! we all loved it! Thank you!
- Jing (1/5): avoid in summer holiday because air con is must - location bad power, u can not use air con and water kettle at the same time, I have to wake up at 4am morning to turn on main switch. very danger bathroom glass door which only hang on.
- Ibrahim (10/5): Home away from home! - We had a wonderful stay here. The property is perfect for a family with everything you possibly need. Mira is a super host who did everything to ensure we are comfortable. Big thumbs up! Highly recommend!
