• Caroline (9/5): An authentic apartment, clean comfortable and quiet near good public transport. - A comfortable, clean and quiet apartment. It’s an authentic place to stay, not as ‘shiny’ and bland as others, it has character and is a great restful bolt hole to head back to after the busyness of sightseeing. Very comfortable beds- I had the sofa bed which was great! Excellent Wi-Fi Close to public transport (Cipro metro 5 minutes walk away, Valle Aurelia main line station 5 minutes walk in the other direction) and short walk to Vatican. Lovely refreshments in fridge on arrival. Good communication with the hosts before and during the stay. The kitchenette was perfect for preparing simple meals, good utensils etc and handy food essentials in the cupboard. Plenty of loo rolls, kitchen roll, etc. Yes, there are about 50 steps up to the apartment, but it means you are away from the main road and it’s so quiet! You pass through a locked gate on the street and following the path past other properties, it feels very secure. I was sent handy photos of how to get to the front door before arriving. We had to use our phone torches a couple of times coming back at night as the lights didn’t automatically come on along the path and we couldn’t see the steps. The balcony could do with a spruce up.

La ubicación del alojamiento era perfecta: en una zona muy bonita, tranquila y limpia, rodeada de naturaleza y calles agradables. La comunicación con el anfitrión fue excepcional desde el primer momento: siempre amable, atento y rápido en responder. El apartamento era muy cómodo, bonito y decorado con mucho gusto. Se notaba que todo estaba cuidado al detalle y nos sentimos como en casa. Además, la conexión con el transporte público era muy buena. La parada de autobús estaba muy cerca, una tienda a solo 400 metros y la estación de tren a unos 900 metros. También se podía llegar al Coliseo caminando en aproximadamente 20 minutos, lo cual fue fantástico. Sin duda recomendaríamos este alojamiento y volveríamos encantados. Muchas gracias por todo!

• Gabriel DENTREVAUX (9/5): Superbe séjour à 2 pas du Vatican, au mois de novembre, et avec un temps de rêve ! - L'appartement et son joli balcon sont à 2 pas du Vatican, bien pratique ! Le contact a été très facile avec Valentina, notre hôte : elle a très réactive et disponible pendant tout le séjour pour répondre à nos questions ! Cerise sur le gâteau : un cadeau surprise nous attendait dans l'appartement, bien au frais ;)
• Maria Carolina (7/5): Me gustó mucho el trato del anfitrión y la localización del sitio - El alojamiento es muy cercano a el Vaticano e incluso a la fontana de Trevi caminando, pero también está el metro que sirve para ir a estos sitios, tiene una localización muy buena. Tiene muchas escaleras, y es un poco peligroso subir con maletas sobretodo al llegar al apartamento.

• François (6/5): Bon séjour mais les conditions et l'information sur l'accès au logement sont à revoir. - Modalités d'accueil et d'information pour accéder et repartir du logement complexes et non satisfaisantes surtout au départ. nous avons dû envoyer plusieurs messages pour obtenir des détails sur l'ouverture de la porte de sortie de la résidence. Transmission pendant la nuit d'une mauvaise photo. Bouton introuvable à coté de la grille de sortie. Nous aurions pu rater l'avion! Information incomplète sur l'escalier d'accès au logement (58 marches, équivalent 3 étages) et la proximité du Vatican (autre escalier mais monumental cette fois).

• Rami (10/5): An amazing host, great house and super location! - The location is amazing, 2 mins walk from EMO metro station, and 2 mins walk from Bus 492 that takes you to all the important monuments in Rome. The staff is super helpful, they are always responsive to all the questions and demands, the owner even helped my wife with the bags after check-out. Very recommended when in Rome.

Access was via a steep, narrow passageway which we found hazardous in wet and/or dark conditions (light switches were not obvious). The balcony was uncovered so not usable in the rain.

• Mervyn (9/5): Cosy little place! - A cute and cosy apartment in a nice residential part near the Vatican. It’s a 10 minute walk. Bed is very comfortable and everything is clean and tastefully furnished. There are a number of steps to get to the apartment so just take note when booking. The shower is a bit small but the AC is a saviour in the hot Italian summer. I’d recommend this cool find!
• Norbert (8/5): Fantastic apartment for a few days in Rome, great nearby neighborhood. - Great location behind the Vatican. It's close to the Cipro metro station and Valle Aurelia railway station. There are grocery stores nearby. Prati is a very nice neighborhood with restaurants, specialty shops, and more. The historic center is within walking distance (2 km). The apartment is perfect, featuring a kitchenette, two rooms, and a bathroom with a good shower. The balcony offers a view of a city block and street. It's a quiet area with fewer tourists. The apartment was clean and nicely decorated. The Bathroom is a bit small.

• Sanja (10/5): Cosy, comfortable and clean. - The location is great, close to the Vatican, all within walking distance if you are fit. Mission impossible to get a taxi via the app, but you have a nearby taxi station, like the Metro. The owner gave nice tips about the restaurants which were great. The bedroom was nice, the bed was so comfortable, small balcony with a nice garden view. The apartment was very clean which is a huge advantage. The owner is very responsive and approachable, he left us a nice welcome kit:) Honestly, the Casa Flavia is a 5* stay. The heating system was locked so had to contact the owner to unlock it and put the heating up or to unlock it for me to set up manually when it was cold.

• Nikita (10/5): A very romantic place in the heart of Rome with the best host ever ! - We loved the romantic balcony. The location of the apartment is perfect, very close to the metro station and to busses that can bring you anywhere you want , and to san Pietro you can get even by foot. There are several supermarcets in the area and nice cafes and bars around. It is a perfect choice to get to know Rome. And best of all we liked the host, Roberto. He respoded to every our need and even helped us to sort out problems that were not concerning his apartment. We are very grateful to Roberto.

• Ann (7/5): Authentic - Loved the location.The apartment was really clean and it was just like it was advertised.in the pictures . Location was great very near all modes of transport and large supermarket nearby and resturants. Very spacious and had every convenience. It was between 40 to 50 steep steps before you got to the apartment .Not for everybody and most of the time we did not mind but at the end of some days it was something you could do without .
• Richard (10/5): Perfect little apartment with real Roman feel to it and great location with pretty balcony ! - Great location in Trionfale, slightly out of centre of Rome but excellent transport links - metro station Cipro few minutes walk away - bus stop for 490/495 bus right outside entrance to apartment. Walking distance to Vatican museum and St Peter’s Square. Bright tastefully furnished apartment, perfect size for us as a couple! Bed was really comfortable and apartment was very clean! Had hairdryer and ironing facilities too! Great little balcony to relax and unwind on after day sightseeing! (Weather permitting!) Good selection of restaurants, cafes and shops within walking distance of apartment. Host, Andrea was wonderful, very helpful and provided good advice on places to see and places to eat! We would love to stay again and totally recommend this beautiful apartment! 😊😍 Shower head was heavy so kept tipping downwards when having a shower - minor issue. Occasionally we had difficulty connecting to Wi-Fi so lost connection to Netflix one night but again minor issue as we were in apartment mainly to sleep so didn’t affect our stay at all!

There are many good places to eat in the surrounding area and a grocery store nearby. The room is very cosy, the balcony has a nice view. The apartment is very clean, quiet and the bed is comfortable. Roberto is a wonderful host, gives clear information, is extremely responsive, you can rely on him. The kitchen area needs some improvements, the fridge doesn't close well, also new pans and pots would be great. It would be good to have a smoke and gas detector.
