Guest Reviews
- Susanne (10/5): - Beliggenhed, hel fantastisk Manglende vinduer
- Holly (9/5): Lovely apartment, lovely hosts! - The hosts were wonderful and kept us informed about our stay and how to get into the property. The bathroom was gorgeous and the kitchen had all the necessary facilities, particularly as we had to cook for ourselves for a night whilst we recovered from a catching a cold. Nothing - the room was perfect for a week's stay. It was a little dark in the place as there was no natural light, but I think this is because of the scaffolding, which the hosts were very upfront about when we booked.
- Ewan (10/5): Hidden Gem - Owner was so helpful with location & recommended stuff to do local. Apartment had everything you need. AC Was definitely a life saver.
Will definitely be using host again when I'm in Roma.
- Ilit (6/5): Pleasant -
- Stephen (2/5): Certainly no value for money with this apartment. No notification was provided of the scaffolding and darkness of the ap - Location was perfect The apartment had no natural light due to construction scaffolding. Cold wet towels for three days as no facility to reheat them. Freezer completely frozen over and no place for our frozen food for storage. No control over the heating and needed to contact the owner to have the air conditioning system turned on via external remote. Toilet not cleaned properly. Bed side tables are for decorative purposes only, with one bed side lamp not working at all. Dust falling from the ceiling when children in the above apartment were running back and forth.
- Beverley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Evangelia (6/5): Rome is amazing, the location is top but the appartment was not worth its price - The location was very convenient and the host was friendly and gave us detailed directions from Airport and inside the building. The house had clear instructions as to how to use things, plus some nice pasta recipies by the host.
People in Rome are very nice and friendly and the city is amazing. The apartment was not as spacious as in the photos, it was not as clean as expected and it had faulty furniture. We were disappointed. Not value for its price. Also, we were unlucky and upon our arrival there was construction work going on right outside the only balcony it had for natural light and air, there were stones falling so we kept the balcony door closed all the days, which made the room feel even smaller. We were not informed by the host for this but even if we were it was just bad luck.
- Lisa (8/5): Amazing location in Rome! - The location is fantastic; we were close to all the top monuments and attractions! We walked everywhere during the entire vacation because everything was so nearby. Just steps outside the apartment door, there's a bus that takes you to destinations a bit farther away. The neighborhood is safe, and there's a supermarket very close by.
The hostess was incredibly kind and helpful. There are recipes in the kitchen for cooking Italian meals yourself, and it was nice to have some restaurant recommendations already. The entire apartment was very clean. It was also convenient that we could leave our luggage until we were picked up by the taxi. The wifi isn't very stable. There were many moments when we didn't have wifi in the room. I think this is a general problem in Rome.
The balcony was partially inaccessible due to scaffolding. Unfortunately, construction work began as early as 8 o'clock in the morning, of which we were not informed.
The bed is not very comfortable for a longer stay. We both had back issues after 7 days in the apartment.
- Guido (8/5): Very good -
- Regina (7/5): Great location! - Very central, walking distance from the historical places. The apartment it’s in a very nice building. Near restaurants and bars. There is a cafe/restaurant few doors to the apartment, called Cafe Magi/Porto di Ripeta, great coffee ( the best we had in Rome) and breakfast, great value and friendly service. The restaurant is great too! We booked this property because we wanted a balcony. Therefore we paid slightly more for it than other properties. Unfortunately as we opened the French doors, what a disappointment! They were fitting a lift in the building, so we had this huge scaffolding covering all outside space and light! The apartment felt dingy, dark, we never knew what weather was out there! We wish we knew before we booked!
- Hiteshluniya (9/5): Brilliant Location - Location was absolutely perfect The cleaning could have happened every two days
- Mike (10/5): Excellent stay in Roma, thank you Jean - Jean was the perfect host, so helpful and provided local recommendations to some great restaurants and bars.
The location is excellent too, safe and secure, and walking distance to everything we needed.
Highly recommend.
- Jane (5/5): Ideal location for seeing Rome on foot but disappointed in the apartment overall. - The location is very good, it’s very central to all the sites and in a nice area of Roma. They were flexible when we could not check in until later than planned. The property has very little natural light which wasn’t helped by the scaffolding in the courtyard where they are putting in an elevator which we were not advised about so noisy building work going on during the weekdays. There is also a connecting door which we assume was to a connecting apartment as it was very noisy at 1am with people talking which sounded like they were in our room. The upstairs apartment was very noisy stamping about at all times and although you can not determine the behaviour of others in the building if you value your sleep like we do then this was not good. We never met Jean who was meant to be our host but was messaged by someone called Sandra and then given the key by someone else who has an apartment below!
- Stnsie (7/5): Nice apartment on good location - the location, big bathroom the bed (very soft) when you move the other moves too, only big pillows no flat pillows
- Francesca (9/5): Central small apartment, cozy and stylish. - Great location and cozy atmosphere
- Silvia (10/5): Exceptional - The perfect place really in the heart of Rome as advertised….You can walk everywhere and its so elegant like living in a storybook .Host was exceptional and her English was perfect , also she gave a list of restaurants and bars for aperitivo where locals go. Left some monies in an envelope not a lot but kind enough to wire back to me . Vacation and location best every .Thanks so much Jean
- Heather (10/5): warm cosy and ideally situated - location was perfect nothing
- Lawrence (1/5): This property was NOT as advertised. Buyer beware - Location 37 stairs . ( the description did not say it was on the 3rd floor). There was mold in the bathroom shower. We could not control the heat as it was on a timer ,all we could do was turn it off. The bath towels were like sandpaper. It was extremely noisy with hallway noise and people thumping around in the apartment above. This property was NOT as advertised .Having traveled extensively for 50 years, this was our worst experience and left after one night when we paid for 3. We went elsewhere and for the same $ found a beautiful hotel near the Spanish Steps. We asked for a refund for 2 nights. No response from host or property management, we were offered a bottle of wine which we declined.
- Silvia (4/5): Disappointing -
- Benedetto (9/5): Superb -
- Andria (10/5): Quaint, pretty apartment 5 min from Spanish Steps - A Beautiful apartment in an amazing location not far from the Spanish Steps. It has a little balcony so you can have the balcony doors open and sit on the little terrace. There is also air con. We'll equipped kitchen and big bathroom with spacious shower. The host Jean was really welcoming and gave use advice on best areas for aperitivos as well as leaving us a bottle of gorgeous wine. Very cosy and romantic. We were met at the apartment by Bianca. The metro station is only 5 minutes walk away. There are bars/restaurants just outside the door. 10 min walk to Vatican or you can jump on bus 3 min walk away. Highly recommend. Nothing
- Santa (7/5): Good -
