Guest Reviews
- Anna (10/5): We loved the accommodation and would stay here again. It’s so central and above the most perfect coffee shop, you can s - The property was in a great location, clean and welcoming. The beds were comfortable, perfect after a day of wandering. Nothing, it was perfect.
- Jaline (7/5): Localização ótima, mas em questão de Limpeza, é demais serviços não são tão bons… - Localização Limpeza, água quente acaba com 3 a 4 pessoas usando, internet bem lenta…
- Krystyna (10/5): Everything was perfect, thank you very much! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. We especially -

- Işıl (5/5): - Merkezi ve konforlu bir daire. Evde olan herşey vardı. Check in 3 ve check out 10 çok kötü saatler. Bavulunuzu kesinlikle bırakamıyorsunuz. En azından temizlik yapılırken bir kenarda durabilirdi. Manzara beklentimi karşılamadı.

- Suzanne (10/5): Superb location but would prefer somewhere a little quieter. - Great location, Simona met us at the apartment for early check-in. Communication was superb and as no-one else was staying we had a late check-out before our flight back to the UK. Thanks Simona Very Loud, although the windows look like they are double glazed the noise level is high. There were people jumping in the fountain at 2-4am!!!
- Philipe (6/5): Decepcionante.
- Katrina (9/5): Simona was a wonderful host. The apartment was quite lovely and the bed was very comfortable. Would stay there again. - The location was incredible. Right in the heart of the action. Although it’s amazing how the sound of the crowd was reduced, there was always noise throughout the night.
- Erblin (10/5): We loved our stay. The apartment was clean, perfectly located, and the host was super friendly! - We loved our stay! The apartment was very clean and the location was amazing — everything was nearby. There’s a lovely café right below the apartment, perfect for starting the day. The Trevi Fountain was right in front, and there were plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. The apartment also had a small kitchen, which was super convenient. It was the perfect place to come back and rest during the hot parts of the day, plus the host was super friendly!

- Jovita (10/5): Exceptional -
- Morris (9/5): Fantastic - As above Nothing
- Lucy (9/5): Well worth the money! - I love the location - 10-15 mins from most attractions. It was so comfortable and we loved to have 2 bedrooms for 2 friends together. Simona was amazing, even giving us a full guide beforehand. The only cons were that the noise from outside on the Saturday evening was quite loud, but what do you expect right next to the Trevi Fountain on a weekend! The only other downside was the WiFi - it wasn't strong so we couldn't really look at socials or facetime.

- Alya (5/5): Passable -
- Kara (9/5): Superb -
- Sarah (10/5): Perfect location, cozy accommodations. - Perfect location. Almost all major attractions are no more than a 10-15 min walk.
- Vera (8/5): Friendly host and comfortable apartment. - Simona was very friendly and helpful.
The location is also wonderful and of course being next to the Trevi fountain was incredible. Honestly it was a wonderful property but the location was a bit too busy for us.
- Benjamin (9/5): Easy and convenient. - Great location. Comfortable and clean. Based on photos expected a better, more direct, view of the Trevi fountain.
Air conditioning also a little loud.
- Adventure20101025294 (2/5): Caution - They Cancelled our booking last minute after we had paid and wanted us to book with another recommended hotel via bank transfer!! We were very worried.
Luckily booking.com gave us our refund. Sounded dodgy! …………………………………………………………………..

- Hadass (1/5): The apartment and the owner has managed to ruin a trip to Rome. This is definitely hard to do. - The only redeeming quality is the location. Other than I would not recommend. The owner is not reliable and would quickly blame you for anything wrong with the failing facility. The owner is not honest. She will do anything to avoid taking responsibility for her place and will not hold up to her word. We had no hot water almost all of the stay yet she chose to blame an "open tap" which was clearly not the case. For the price, the poor experience is not worth it and we don't recommend staying there. Make sure to document anything you have / do there since she will reverse her words and will try to blame you for everything. The view is not exactly as in the photos - you'll get a view of the fountain if you hang half your body out of the window and try not to fall. Find somewhere else to stay.
- Lorena (8/5): It was amazing! I would definitely stay here again. - Perfect location right in front of the Fontana di Trevi. Cafes, shops and restaurants everywhere. the apartment is in the heart of Rome! The apartment is on the second floor. There is a lift, but it starts at the first floor. So, take that into account if you cannot walk up the stairs or have many suitcases.
- Deirdre (10/5): Great neighbourhood, great experience, great flat. - I suspect some people might fine it noisy, but it's a pedestrian street and the noise is that of people enjoying themselves at the fountain and restaurants below...a happy cacophony and we didn't find it a problem. The flat is clean and well appointed, the bed was great, kitchen more than adequate...a very modern flat in a very old building, the best of both worlds. The cafe downstairs is literally right outside the door...my commute to morning coffee was less than a metre. Nothing that anyone can do anything about...old buildings simply are more stair based than lift based. While there IS a lift, it's up two flights of stairs. Anyone with mobility issues (or massive amounts of luggage) may want to take it into consideration. It wasn't an issue for us.
- Dana (10/5): Fabulous - The location was great. Also the recommendations by the host for the restaurants was amazing. We tried several of the recommended restaurants. The apartment is nicely set up and you would have all you need. AC worked perfectly well which was great in evening. I specially loved the plates took pic of them. Thank you for hosting us. We loved Rome and can't wait to come back soon. All was great. But if you are looking for a quiet apartment this is not the spot for you. We did sleep amazingly well but the area is busy with tourists starting early morning till late night. We personally were not bothered.
- dianaalisp (10/5): W🤩W —> best experience ever❣️ - Every time I choose the location for where we are going to stay in a city break, I expect it to be as central as possible.
Well, when the idea of traveling to Rome popped into my mind, especially as it was my birthday weekend - I asked myself: “If you could choose one place to see when you open the window, which one it would be?”. And I couldn’t think of a better answer than FONTANA DI TREVI.
Therefore, if you are looking for a luxurious apartment, heavenly situated in the heart of Rome and cheery on top, you want to see the best monument - Fontana di Trevi - look no more, INROMEATHOME is without any doubt the answer.
The interior of the apartment seems like it was taken out of an Interior Design Magazine - it was marvelous!
It was my first time in Rome, and as for my birthday, I always try to do something special. This apartment added so much value to my trip. I’ll always remember this holiday and the view from my window —> Fontana di Trevi = my favorite place in Rome 💘.
Raffaella and her colleague were so kind. They waited for us with dozen of water bottles and some delicious Italian cookies. We also had all the disposables one can find in a hotel room. Plus a huge surprise was a portable wifi device that we carried with us all over the place and saved us some roaming traffic data.
Raffaella and Steffano also gave us great tips of where to eat in the surrounding area.
The location is surrounded by great places to eat and it’s a huge plus that you are conveniently located in the historical center of Rome - where ever you head, you reach the main tourist attractions.
A piece of advice - make sure you bring the most comfortable shoes & eat lots of gelato 🤩🍦.
- isenhopk (2/5): square footage is misleading - The Trevi Fountain Apartments are located right at the Trevi Fountain but it was being repaired and was blocked off. The room took five different keys to enter. Could not get the washer/dryer to work. Lesson learned, do not rent apartment from absentee landlords.
- HappyTraveller137137 (10/5): Simply wow...a truly amazing stay! - My partner and I stumbled upon this apartment online and what an amazing find it proved to be!
The location and view are simply breathtaking. With a birds eye view of the Trevi fountain, it's hard not to spend hours people watching from the window. There are so many amazing bars and restaurants nearby, with a supermarket selling essentials directly under the apartment.
The apartment itself is beautifully decorated and kept. The facilities were fab with a fridge, coffee machine and small cooking facilities. We could maybe have done with a few more coffee pods or instructions for where we could get more as I don't generally function without a couple of cups of coffee on a morning :). The apartment also had so many lovely touches including umbrella's, cotton buds and tourist guides which had been thoughtfully left which we made full use of.
Raffaella proved to be an amazing host and she gave us so much great advice on tourist attractions, bars and restaurants. She also sourced a beautiful birthday cake and some candles for my other half and a bottle of fizz greeted us on our arrival. Thank you so much for a truly amazing stay. We will definitely be back!
- davidhC1894LR (10/5): Perfect location; super accommodation - This gem is situated 40 metres from the Trevi Fountain and is convenient for accessing all major attractions. Francesca provided a map on which she highlighted additional restaurants and special places of interest. The accommodation is air-conditioned, clean, comfortable and spacious. A lovely pace to return to after a day's arduous walking. The breakfasts were fine and provided withy hot coffee on a wheeled trolley each mooning and brought to the room.
- willersdorf (10/5): Fantastic apartment in heart of RoMe - We stayed in Francesco's apartment for a week and it was fantastic!! It is a very well appointed apartment, lots of natural light and "yes" you can see the fountain from the windows. Unfortunately the fountain is still under repair but you can still admire the massive marble statues. Despite a the crowds outside due to the doubled glazed windows you can't hear noise inside. Francesco was extremely helpful. The supermarket is good and only 5 minutes away. We walked to all the sights. Good restaurants nearby especially up over the hill to the Colosseum. I highly recommend this apartment and we would definitely return.
Linda Melbourne Australia.
- 195jackc (10/5): Fantastic modern room in an excellent location - This place is a little gem if like us you want a clean modern room in easy walking distance to all the major sights. The room had a large bed with high quality bedsheets and pillows, free wifi, new shower, new sinks, large TV, safe, coffee, biscuits, etc. The room was our safe-haven from Rome as the air conditioning worked very well even when it was 35c+ outside. Francesca the manager ensured we had everything we needed from day one - she even arranged a transfer to the airport and came to meet us to ensure the taxi arrived and everything was ok. The maid brought us sandwiches at lunch time with fresh fruit and bottles of water. Drinks in the mini-bar were very reasonable (1euro) too.
In terms of location we walked to all the major sights from here - including the Colosseum, Pantheon, Spanish steps, Four rivers, a bunch of piazzas, Roman forum. Vatican/Trastevere were the furthest away we visited (probably about 30min walk).
The hotel is small but it really has the personal touch - I would definitely stay here again on a trip back into Rome.
- Beachbocci (10/5): Rome in June - We stayed 3 nights in June and enjoyed our stay there very much. Francesca and Lola were
so nice to us and took care of anything we needed. The breakfasts were A-mazing! Plenty
to eat breakfast and pack a little snack for later! Our one and only disappointment was, that we had booked this place because of it's proximity to the Trevi Fountain. It could not have been
a better location, however, the Trevi Fountain is under renovation:( We were told it will take 2 years for completion. It is still a great location to all of the other attractions, so once we got
over our initial shock, we moved on and enjoyed all that Rome has to offer!!
- crimescenedoc (6/5): Great location-good accomodations - The apartments are small but well furnished (think NYC small) and in a great location. It is literally a few steps to the Trevi Fountain.
The in room breakfast was good; however there is very little room to eat.The manager was great with accomodating early breakfast.
Room/bathroom are clean (this is a biggie for me).
On Saturday night the karaoke from the restaurant downstairs lasted until 2:30 which made sleeping difficult. We mentioned this to Simeone, the manger, who was upset and angry. He said he has been "fighting" with the restuarant about this issue. The other nights, there were no issues.
Definitely a good value for Rome.
- astrogirl333 (10/5): A corner of tranquility just steps from Trevi Fountain - Hi gang!
My beloved and I booked a short stay with Town House Fontana Di Trevi last year (from the 26-28th October 2012). Upon discovering it was for our 10th wedding anniversary, the wonderful Francesca immediately insisted that we stay in the apartment rather than the town house proper, assuring us that this was a far more suitable and fitting setting for such a momentous occasion. She also gave us a fantastic deal for the two nights we were staying, and kept in touch leading up to our stay.
When we actually arrived, she absolutely went out of her way to accommodate us given that we were there early in the morning - long before our check in time. It was raining when we arrived, so not only did she usher us into the town house proper and help us to dry off, she made us delicious fresh italian coffee! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel like we were at home. After a long trip from Australia, we were tired and hungry and just wanted to sit at a quiet cafe and have breakfast (perhaps one that supplied caffeine in IV form so that I could take it directly into my bloodstream). She immediately insisted that we leave all of our luggage and directed us to a cozy cafe close by, where they did not supply IV caffeine, but did have an excellent liquid substitute that could be ingested orally (I forget what it was called) :)
When we returned to the townhouse (still early in the morning) feeling somewhat refreshed and rejuvenated, she quickly and expertly navigated us through the required paperwork (copies of passports, deposit etc) before walking us over to the apartment - despite the fact that we still should not have been checking in for at least a couple of hours. She found us umbrellas for the walk over (and for the remainder of our stay), insisted on taking my suitcase, and then acted as cheerful and willing tourist guide along the way! Our only disappointment was that the walk from the actual townhouse (past Trevi Fountain!!) to the apartment was at most 2 minutes hahaha Francesca then provided us with her mobile number and encouraged us to ring her at any time if we needed anything. As it turns out, this was a godsend - we somehow locked ourselves out of the in-room safe, and she happily came to the rescue in record time!
As I have mentioned in my 'traveller's tip for choosing a good room' below, the apartment is located only about 30 metres from Trevi Fountain. Being such a huge tourist attraction, you would expect it to therefore be noisy and perhaps even feel a little unsafe - not the case. Despite being a savvy traveller, I am always hypervigilant of my surroundings - even more so without my beloved husband by my side. However, any of the short strolls I took around the area on my own, I felt perfectly safe. The apartment is on a peaceful side street, and the actual front of the building has a big heavy outside wooden door. As is typical for many places in Europe, this then opens up to an antechamber with letterboxes and individual apartment buzzers, followed by another locked door that you go through that leads into an open air courtyard, with units around the outside.
The apartment is in the back corner of the tranquil courtyard, and I really think that the pictures are entirely representative of the apartment itself. Fully self-contained, it had a COMFORTABLE bed, gas fire place, flat-screen TV (complete with cozy leather armchair), kitchen with complete facilities (including COFFEE-MAKER, yay), dining room table, renovated bathroom, free high-speed wifi internet, in-room safe, plenty of wardrobe hanging space (double-yay), and the front as well as back door with security gates so that main doors could be left open for breeze. Also - there was a cute little outside courtyard with chairs and table opposite the bed!
Think it couldn't get any better? INCORRECT! The next morning, Francesca arrived with our breakfast. Now - I must preface this by saying that I am not in any way a sweet tooth - I don't eat sweets, don't like icecream, rarely eat or even get cravings for chocolate and certainly NEVER walk past a bakery and think "oh my god I want everything in there so bad; I'll offer to trade my first born for it". But, when Francesca brought our breakfast, she provided the most beautiful fresh bread, and THE BEST CHOCOLATE-FILLED CROISSANT I HAVE EVER TASTED. Oh - and coffee! Seriously, that croissant changed my life, and I still dream about it. We of course requested the same thing the next day, and she duly delivered!
To top our stay off, my husband mentioned to Francesca that the day after we arrived was my birthday. She returned the afternoon of my birthday with flowers and a card for me - in her own time! What an amazing stay we had, and what an incredible asset she is to Town House Fontana Di Trevi! We absolutely LOVED our stay and can't wait to return to Rome again.
- Payal9180 (8/5): Well furnished & Great location!! - These apartments are very well furnished. The interiors of the rooms are very state of the art as shown in the Pictures online. The bathrooms also very well designed. The couple who run the place are extremely helpful and hospitable people. They happily go an extra mile to ensure comfort to their patrons which we would think is a great USP. It is located literally at the Trevi Fountain and hence, the name could not have been more apt. Very happy with the service and location. We would surely want to go back there. :)
