• Iwona (5/5): Pobyt był udany, ale mieszkanie zdecydowanie poniżej naszych oczekiwań, a cena nieadekwatna do standardu. - Lokalizacja. Autobus zaraz obok domu. Wszędzie szybko można się było dostać Niestety zdjęcia nie oddają rzeczywistości. Podloga, drzwi, meble - slabej jakości i w złym stanie technicznym. Szyby między pokojami, zaklejone jakimiś naklejkami, uszkodzone, stare żaluzje… W łazience brak nawet wieszaka, żeby ręcznik powiesić. Część okien z salonu jakby zalane jakąś farbą? Nie wiem co to było, ale nic nie było przez nie widać. Cena zdecydowanie za wysoka za taki standard.

• Sorin (7/5): Sejur Roma aprilie 2026 - Apartamentul este spațios și este amplasat foarte aproape de Vatican și de o stație de autobuz si gara S.Pietro. Nu înțeleg nota de pe Booking.com a locației. Mobilierul, parchetul și obiectele sanitare sunt vechi și uzate, ușile de la.balcon nu se mai închid auzindu-se puternic zgomotul străzii,iar geamurile sunt pline de condens la interior, pătate și arată foarte urât. Canapeaua din living este pătată iar în baie și bucătărie sunt furnici. Aș recomanda remedierea acestor probleme și dotarea cu un expresor de cafea.

Thanks for the welcome drink ( a very good red wine ) and others. Nice that the kitchen was full : coffee , tea, sugar, salt ...others.

• Luminita (10/5): - I had a fantastic stay at this apartment near the Vatican! The location was ideal — just a short walk from St. Peter’s Basilica, yet in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The apartment itself was spotless, well-equipped, and very comfortable, with excellent air conditioning — a huge plus during the warm days. One of the highlights was the beautiful terrace: in the evening, I could see the Vatican illuminated, which was absolutely breathtaking. The host was warm, helpful, and always available for anything I needed. I truly felt at home and would love to come back. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Rome — you won’t be disappointed!

• Franklin (10/5): It's a nice place. We enjoyed our stay. - The apt was comfortable, clean and close to the Vatican. There are good restaurants, a taxi stand and a bus stop near by. Our host Paolo was friendly and shared some good information on where to eat, places to visit and how to get there. We had a great time there.

• Graeme (7/5): OK for a short stay - Decent sized room and the bed was fairly comfortable. The guy who met us with the keys was very friendly. The bathroom certainly needs attention, the shower isn’t great. The WC is actually loose and isn’t screwed into the floor properly. We were disappointed with the location as we wanted to be nearer the Trastevere area but that is our probably own fault

Lit confortable. L’appartement est grand et propre. Nous avons été très bien reçu par Paolo, il nous a expliqué sur une carte les différents site à visiter à Rome, le transport, les bons restaurants abordables etc. Nous avons même reçu des présents alimentaires avec une bouteille de vin.

• Ana (8/5): Paolo met us when we arrived and he explained everything about how things in the apartment work. He made suggestions as - A few minutes walk to the Vatican. Bus stop, restaurants, bakery and Carrefour nearby. The bedrooms are spacious but the kitchen/dining/living area are quite small. Could do with white curtains so we can let natural sunlight in. There were gaps in between the thick curtains and there was a thunderstorm during our stay. The lightning woke us up. You have to close the curtains when getting changed for privacy so it was a little bit dark. The first bedroom, doesn't close properly. The exhaust/hood in the kitchen didn't work so we have to open the kitchen door to let the cooking smell out. The lift was too small and old but functional.

Stufe im Bad ist eine Stolperfalle. Sofa als Schlafsofa ist nur mässig bequem. Glasfronten sind teilweise trüb.
• Kate (10/5): Perfect location, fantastic host and brilliant neighbourhood with great restaurants - Absolutely brilliant location, so many fabulous restaurants nearby such as I san pietrini, via delle fornaci Dai miei, via delle fornaci Cresci, via alcide de gasperi We didn’t even bother going to the more central ones we booked. The host was fantastic and went above and beyond to be helpful. Lovely little package of Italian things left for us and fabulous terrace to sit out on. Really easy to get the bus - number 64 goes to all of the sights or walk into town easily All fabulous
• gunther (7/5): De stad Rome was fantastisch al was het een snikhete week. - De ligging vlakbij de Sint-Pietersbasiliek en het centrum van Rome. Zeer kleine living waar ook de keuken inzit. Bij aankomst snikheet in de kamers wat onze eerste slapeloze nacht al opleverde. Enkel glas en tot middernacht veel lawaai van vuilnisophalers en verkeer. Weinig bestek en geen opbergruimte voor boodschappen. Wc spoelde zeer slecht door. Door de warmte was de kamer ondanks airco niet koel te houden. Enkel gordijnen en geen rolluiken wat betekende dat het om 05u al licht was in de kamer. In de oude kleerkasten maar enkele kapstokken ter beschikking el amper opbergruimte.

We enjoyed the property as a base to explore Rome - The property was spacious, with much needed air conditioning and very good facilities. The location is excellent and the view of St Peter’s Basilica was stunning. The patios doors on each bedroom out to the balcony didn’t lock which was a concern. We only had hot water for one day out of three days we were there.

The check in was very easy, Paolo was very helpful and informative and gave us all of the information we needed for our holiday. The location was great and the views of the Vatican from the balcony were spectacular. The apartment is on a street with lots of nice restaurants and shops so you have everything you need around you. Everything was great.
• Martin (10/5): Lovely Rome visit - Friendly staff met us outside apartment even though our flight and travel arrangements from airport was disrupted. Good communication before travelling as well. Staff showed us around apartment and explained everything before leaving us to settle in. Also pointed out local shops and places to eat nearby. Apartment was a good size and with access to the balcony was great. Location was amazing - very close to St.Peter's Square and Basilica - visit coincided with Conclave and the voting of the new Pope - to be there at this time was a once in a lifetime experience. Travel around Rome straightforward - walking or public transport (travel card or pay and go on bus worked well. Apartment near to bus stop to take you to Roma Termini if you needed to travel outside Rome. Only a minor point but would have been nice to have a toaster (there was a sandwich toaster provided).

The apartment is poorly renovated. When we moved in, the apartment was dirty. The kitchen is very poorly equipped. There are few dishes, absolutely no glasses, the condition of the dishes is poor. The booking conditions indicated a dishwasher. In fact, there was none. There was not a single capsule for washing clothes, although such trifles should be by default. Everything in the bathroom is also old. The apartments do not correspond to the stated criteria and photos. Communication with the owner was pleasant, with his assistant upon check-in no.

• Fiona (10/5): A lovely apartment in a quiet neighbourhood with balcony view of the Vatican. - The owners were very thoughtful and made you feel welcome and cared for. The shower was amazing with back jets and the apartment had all you could need. There was a lovely welcome gift and the owners were very generous. The balcony view of St Peter’s was stunning and we enjoyed relaxing on the chairs on the balcony after a long day. There was a lovely restaurant below which catered for my family’s gluten intolerance and the owners were very accommodating. I highly recommend this apartment. Unfortunately the elevator was broken and we had to take our luggage to the 6th floor. The owner offered to meet us to help carry the bags and offered a discount to compensate.

• Will (9/5): Brilliant stay, great apartment, great host! - Fantastic location, very comfy bed, good shower! All amenities that you could need. Pietro was an awesome host and we had the best stay! Would highly recommend! Only thing to note is that the pictures aren’t representative of the apartment as the pictures show rooms in other apartments as well as the actual apartment.

• Kathleen (8/5): Good for a few days stay - Apartment is just minutes away from the Vatican and S.Pietro Train Station. Bus connection is also few steps away. Airconditioned rooms with functional kitchen, good for cost saving. Spacious apartment with great view of the vatican from the balcony. They offered welcome pasta & wine. We enjoyed having breakfast with a view. 5th floor with a lift. The contact person reacheable via Whatsapp. The apartment is a bit old and would benefit some renovation. The shower was defect when we arrived, but it was fixed the next day. Linens in the room were of low quality so they were a bit itchy so we used another blanket. The bed room and bathroom is separated by glass window (covered with opaque glass & curtains).

Great suggestions on local restaurants. Check-in seemed confusing. We were advised to contact host via whatsapp - I then suddenly received a message from a different number with another host introducing himself without further details as to why I was messaged. Interior of the bathroom is outdated. Curtains in the bedroom do not block out the light. We received a message during our stay to please rate them 10 points. City tax had to be left in cash on the table - we needed a receipt for tax purposes, which we had to follow up with the host multiple times and in the end we got sent a low resolution photo of what could have been any receipt, not showing dates/ amount etc so it's unusable.

• Matko1976 (10/5): Great apartments, spacious and clean on really good location in Rome. - Spacious apartment on really good location, just few minutes walk from Vatican. There are shops and restaurants in vicinity. Quite a good restaurant is just around the corner. Subway is cca 1km walk. There's a nice view from balcony. Pietro is a great host, communication was good, he welcomed us with few gifts and good suggestions about restaurants. Apartment was clean and decently equipped for few days stay. Beds were ok, nothing special, but comfortable enough. Bathroom and kitchen were clean. All in all this place is great value for money, considering everything, I would recommend it for family trips to Rome. Although this is not a real problem, but I should mention it, this place could use a bit of refurbishment... Perhaps a new table and chairs in kitchen... a little bit of paint here and there. But then again, if all the stuff inside was new, perhaps the price would be higher...
• Alithea (10/5): Gorgeous haven near the Vatican - Gorgeous haven with amazing balcony view and 5mins walk to the Vatican/Basilica. The place was spacious, well decorated and clean, incredible heating and it has everything you need after walking around in Rome. I highly recommend staying here! Pietro and Carlos were super helpful and quick response with checking in and given a wonderful welcoming pasta set and delicious wine chosen by Pietro. Grazie mille to you Pietro, Carlos and Merulana team! None. The place and team communication were perfecto! A little advice regarding checking in is to ensure to meet with Pietro at the time he appoints it as I was under the impression I could meet him anytime after the time he suggested therefore I missed out on potentially checking in a lot early but all worked out well and was able to accommodate the certain time I needed to access the apartment.

• Catherine (9/5): Superb - We enjoyed our stay at Meraluna Suites. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. We were only a five minute walk to St. Peter’s. The area was mostly residential with plenty of restaurants and shops. It was a perfect location to be close to the hustle and bustle of Rome and far enough away to enjoy a quieter vibe. Pietro was very welcoming and gave us some great tips to further enjoy our time in Rome.

• Marija (10/5): Perfect stay in Rome in Merulana St.Peter, right next to the Vatican! - Everything was just perfect! Apartment is at the best location, 5 minutes walk from the Vatican!!! There is elevator in this building, beautiful view from the terrace. Apartment was already cooled when we arrived, and there was welcome pack on the table! A bottle of good white wine, Italian pasta and sauce and Italian cookies with olive oil. Everything was clean, bedrooms extra large, beds extra large and very comfortable, bathroom with shower cabin and bath tub! Communication with Merulana staff was always on time, perfectly organized every detail. It is fair price for such a large and comfortable apartment only short walk to the Vatican! We ordered transfer from the airport on arrival and to the airport on the departure, drivers were true professionals, exactly on time in front of the apartment, with high class mini Van, very comfortable. Merulana staff gave us all info about good restaurants and what to see in Rome, which bus to take... I highly recommend Merulana St.Peter apartment! For sure we'll book it again when next time in Rome!
