Guest Reviews
- Prasanna (8/5): Very good -
- Laura (8/5): Very good -
- López (10/5): Really recommend the place, the location in Garbatella is amazing! Also the communication with the host was really good! -
- Kateryna (8/5): Quiet place in an old romanian house - Really quiet place. 22 min (walk +metro Garbatella linea B) to Colloseum. Cute garden patio to have a breakfast with family.
Spacious kitchen and living room.
It is an old house with historical heritage.
You can park a car on the street close to house with no payment. House is old itself and you can smell it a bit, even the apartment is renovated.
Garden at the entrance is a bit in disrepair as I believe this part belongs to neighbors, who are not using this house and garden anymore.
District itself is a quiet one, bu also looks a bit unkempt.
- Alexandr (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic location with a very green surroundings. Very close to metro and in few minutes from the center. The apartment had everything necessary, was very clean. We’ll certainly recommend it to our friends!
- Tyler (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing location and extremely comfortable place to stay Everything was fantastic. There was nothing that we did not enjoy.
- Stalo (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (9/5): Superb - Relatively quiet area, away from tourist crowds. Spacious apartment with own garden. Close to metro, restaurants. Very complicated virtual check in procedure after booking. Too time consuming. Rigidly avoiding any personal contact.
- Alexandra (10/5): Great choice for warm seasons - I'm a big fan of the Garbatella area and it was great to stay within the "Garden Quarter" (Lotti). The apartment is really spacious and has all the basics. The bathroom is especially nice, with one of the best shower renovations I've ever seen. Note that everything is ground floor, so it's very accessible but just a bit damp (April). I imagine that this would be an excellent choice for hot weather, as it would stay cool and there is also AC. Lots of supermarkets and restaurants are nearby and Metro Line B is barely a 10-minute walk away. The flat has its own garden, which must be wonderful in warmer weather. I found this apartment to be a little more expensive than other places in Garbatella (due to circumstances, I stayed in 4 different apartments on this trip) and I assume that I was paying extra to stay within the Garden District. This building has 4 flats - 2 up and 2 down, so there is occasional noise from above and outside.
- Emilia (8/5): Clean, spacious, with private garden, great vibe/charm & proximity to city centre - Charming neighbourhood and private garden, where you can easily spend a day relaxing, going for a walk to explore the beautiful old architecture. The house is a couple of minutes away from bus stops, the subway and stores (Carrefour we found to be the best option). I would definitely come back to stay here. The garden wasn't super well-kept but for a couple of days, it didn't matter. The beds could have been bigger, for two people it was a bit tight to sleep on a queen bed for us. Ideally, the kitchen would be in the shared space, instead of the pullout sofa. That way you don't have to go through that space to get to the kitchen and potentially wake the person up. Also, the washroom could be bigger/ have more places to dry towels.
- Priscilla (10/5): Great, spacious apartment! - Great apartment! Very spacious!
Everything clean and you have everything you need.
Washing machine and dish washer are a bonus!
Nice location right next to a big kids playground and a short walk to the train station. No complaints. Maybe a little far from the old town of Rome but it’s nice to stay outside of the touristy chaos. And very easy to travel on the metro.
- Diego (8/5): Very good -
- Martyna (10/5): Exceptional - Great apartment, spacious, clean. Amazing location. Perfect for sightseeing.
- Zeke (8/5): Very good -
- Ana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tomislav (10/5): Exceptional -
- Krzysztof (9/5): Great place to stay, would definitely book again if in Rome. - The location was perfect in old Garbatella neighbourhood. The kitchen was well stocked with high quality appliances. The apartment was spacious with lots of space. The area was very quiet - no loud traffic nearby, only cicadas. The aircon worked like a charm making August heat manageable. The garden was a bit neglected, but it was too hot to sit there anyway. A coffee table in the living room would be a good idea.
- Torsten (8/5): Very good - Nice area in Rome if you like to venture outside of tourist districts and experience another side of Rome. Practical house. Gigantic kitchen Host/cleaner made a mistake in leaving keys causing some problems. However that was fixed within an hour.
- Anonymous (4/5): Disappointing - The location Mould on the walls in every room
- Peter (7/5): Ok , not able to sleep before midnight - No tourists , very Italian atmosphere, friendly neighborhood. You could clearly hear neighbour directly above until midnight making it very hard to sleep .
- Mikael (9/5): Superb -
- Brigitte (9/5): Superb -
- Meifeng (9/5): Superb -
- Vitaly (9/5): Superb -
- Aleksei (10/5): opportunity to live in Rome in a quiet and peace - A rare opportunity to live in Rome in a quiet and peaceful place, with a small garden for breakfast. Roberta helped with everything and it was always possible to contact her. All minor problems were solved perfectly and as quickly as possible.
- Laurens (9/5): Fabulous. - Garden is magnificent, A real paradise very close to Rome's center. Metro very close, you're on the Forum Romanum in no time. Second bed (couch) is not very comfortable. A bigger percolator to make coffee for 4 would be an improvement.
