Guest Reviews
- jacinta (10/5): Convenient and clean - Location is excellent. Clean and fresh
- Emma (10/5): -
- Clare (7/5): Could be a fantastic apartment with attention to the second bedroom. - Split level and comfy sitting area. Two toilets and bathrooms. The position was fantastic. Shower in en-suite room barely ran any water at all and the plug in the sink was broken so that bedroom had inadequate facilities. The mattress in the same room was not good.
- Cary (10/5): I would definitely stay there over again! -
- Maria Cristina (7/5): -
- Gabriella (6/5): overall, location was great. - What we did like was the location of the property and the fact that there were two bathrooms. The host was great and responsive to questions. What we didn't like was that all of the bedrooms and bathrooms were upstairs and the stairs were not the safest for my 81y.o mother. She really struggled with having to go up anytime she needed anything and often just stayed there to avoid having to go up and down so frequently.
- Amit (10/5): - Location m cleanliness
- Maddalena (10/5): -
- Julia (8/5): -
- Blaithin (8/5): Great location, a stone's throw from Trevi fountain in a traditional apartment -
- Eyal (9/5): - Perfect location - just 2min walk from Fontana de Trevi and 8min walk from a metro station to the Vatican.
The apartment is spacious and comfortable.
- KARLA (9/5): We loved the little rooftop terrace, great view, place was comfortable and cute - Location is perfect, so close to everything Shower had very little water pressure, everything else was great
- Susan (9/5): Fabulous location and a comfortable base for city exploring! - This apartment is very well located: a short walk from the Trevi fountain, with bus stops close by.
There is an elevator.
There is a full kitchen plus a living area with two sofas and a dining table.
It has two bedrooms (the master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom).
The beds are very comfortable. The stairs up to the bedrooms / bathrooms can be a challenge!
A few aspects re cleanliness needed attention. The kitchen needed fresh dish cloths and there was no tea towel. The bath towels left on each bed were quite damp. The second bedroom had a patterned quilt cover, which had hair on it (indicating it had not been washed since the previous guest).
There was no detergent provided for the clothes washing machine.

- Susan (10/5): Terrific host, very accessible and knowledgeable of the ins & outs of the area. Beautiful apartment in an excellent - Excellent location and great host. No hot water in the shower and not enough toilet paper (4 rolls between 3 people over 4 days.) BUT…neither was a big deal and we will definitely stay there again!
- Jenny (10/5): It was a delightful experience! - Great location, excellent accommodations, very comfortable and the staff was very kind and professional!
- Lynne (7/5): Great location and clean apartment - Property was in a great location and had an outside terrace. Property is a little tired and could do with a refresh
- Pablo (9/5): - Si muy bien unicado Nada
- COURTNEY JADE (10/5): -
- manuela (7/5): - Location Some basics were missing like tea towels in the kitchen and a working toaster. Bathrooms have very little storage.
- Estefania (10/5): -
- Karen (9/5): Lovely apartment, well equipped in a good central location - Excellent location, good space for 3 off us. Kitchen facilities were excellent with cooker, fridge, freezer, coffee machines, microwave and crockery. 2 bathrooms were a bonus. Bedrooms were not big but enough space with wardrobes in both. There was air conditioning downstairs & in both bedrooms but the master bedroom unit did not seem as powerful as the others so our room was warmer than we would have liked. The terrace is nice to have but is small and I would say only enough space for 2 people.
- Ella (4/5): Location was the best part of the apt - The property wasn't luxury at all. The couches were old and the air conditioning in one of the bedrooms wasn't cold. The stairs were steep and the terrace was even up more stairs. You had to go up stairs for one of the showers. Please do not list as a luxury apt. Not luxury at all
- Cassandra (5/5): Tired and in need of a refresh but the location was perfect. - The location was central and perfect for a first time visitor wanting to see Rome and the big attractions. We could walk to everything. A huge variety of food and souvenir shopping very close by. It was as tired and needed a refresh. The linen was clean but aging and needed replacing - pillows especially. The seperate bathroom was dirty with mould in the shower. The bathroom fan sounded like a train. It really needed a refresh and deep clean.
- Monique (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karen (8/5): Very good -
- Maria (10/5): Excellent place to stay when in Rome! - We had a great stay at Trevi house, it’s very close to everything. It’s a very safe place. Rennel is an excellent host, very respectful, responsive to our needs, & very professional. We will definitely book this place again with our friends & family.
- Gail (7/5): Fabulous - Fabulous location everything on the doar step
Bright airy and roof top terrace Couldn’t get the hang of having a warm shower
- Ko (7/5): Good - Location Renovated 25 years ago minimum
- Debra (8/5): Great central location and excellent for 2 couples - The authentic Italian feel, it was fantastic having a terrace, and it was an excellent location It needed a good clean especially the floors and the showers
- Mark (5/5): Would not recommend for the price - Only thing we liked was location Basic amenities advertised were laundry and coffee maker and most of these type properties provide supplies for these things.
- Carly (10/5): Great spot near Trevi! Safe, clean and central!! - No breakfast, but location was awesome
- Davina (9/5): Excellent location - Great location, rooftop balcony a plus, nice to have 2 bathrooms
- Maxx (10/5): Plenty of room, air conditioning, great location and the washing machine was an added bonus. - We met the owner and he was very nice and gave us some suggestions for what we could do during our stay. Our contact was helpful and was quick to respond to what’s app. Location can’t be beat and there are multiple lock doors to get through which made us feel safe. No complaints.
- Ilona (8/5): Great location. Big apartment. - It was spacious and roomy. Had everything we needed. Great location in the middle of everything! When we first arrived the air conditioning wasn’t on and it was extremely hot. But once we turned it on we were good to go!
- Mackenzie (6/5): Nice location, but not completely reliable - It’s in a great location, with the TREVI Fountain nearby. Door was difficult to open with keys, but host messaged us back about specific instructions to open it. We dropped our luggage off at 11:30am per instructions, then came back at 3pm and the place was still trashed from the last guests. We asked the host and they said the first cleaning pair were in a scooter accident, so they sent someone to clean it and it was done by around 5pm.
- Abplanalp (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Thomas (6/5): Pleasant - Location was perfect. Apartment needs an upgrade. Feels very eighties. Kitchen and bathrooms tired and need updating. Bedrooms are quite small. Roof terrace impossible to use as there is no protection from the sun. Photos make apartment seem much bigger than it really is.
- Tanya (5/5): a/c in main floor needs to be vented. it just heats the room up as it is and there is no comfort -
- Poller (8/5): good value for money - location is key -
- Shubhendu (10/5): A place to look out for your Rome vacation - Very comfortable, clean and cosy. All the facilities that you can think of for an accommodation is available. Location is a gem. Trevi fountain in just 1 min walk. Streets are lively and got vibes. If you are coming with a lot of luggage, you might feel like walking a bit from the nearest public transport stop. But that is really not a bummer because as you enter the streets you will actually start enjoying the crowd.
- Debbie (9/5): Overall fantastic stay - what a perfect location! - Excellent location, charming living area, super host with clear, timely instructions and communication One bathroom was quite dated and it felt a bit precarious getting in and out the shower located up a few steps especially with wet feet.
- Mary (9/5): Excellent Location and beautiful apartment - The location is amazing, you are so close to everything. It's a lovely apartment. You step into Rome when you go outside the front door!!Staff are extremely helpful and respond to queries straight away. This is nothing to do with the property, but the noise from building works at night is pretty loud. Obviously this will pass once the building is finished.
- Katherine (8/5): A vibrant area to stay in. Atmospheric apartment. Wonderful holiday in a fantastic city. - The location was fantastic: near the Trevi Fountain. Walking distance to many sights.
In a lovely old building with a great courtyard.
Had a roof top terrace- very small but ok for 2 people to sit.
Good lounge and bedrooms with 2 bathrooms.
Very friendly and accommodating host, who even decorated our apartment with birthday banners and balloons! If being fussy - the shower pressure was poor.
But this did not spoil our experience of the apartment at all.
- Marsha (9/5): Great apartment with all amenities - Lovely apartment at a perfect location. Centrally located close to public transport and lots of eating joints.
The apartment is very comfortable and cozy. It was perfect for the three of us. All amenities were taken care of. There was no hand wash in the kitchen or bathroom. Soaps were provided as part of the toiletry kit but handwash was missing.
- Szilvia (5/5): Passable - Close to many tourist attractions
The apartment is quite spacious The apartment was cold, the heating downstairs works only a few hours/day. The shower water was really cold with low water pressure. It took few minutes to warm up.
I think this apartment is not suitable for the winter season and a thorough cleaning before the arrival of the guests would also be necessary.
- Sonia (1/5): Bad - We strongly advise against staying here.
Cold water, having to wait between baths.
Cold air instead of warm air coming from the supposedly central heating of the building.
Dirty bed linen (body fluids, hair, dried stains)
Stinky (swept onto the bed linen) blankets.
Problems with the air conditioning heating in the rooms. They only started working when the host came and washed the nets. He took them off all dusty and dirty.
The only plus point is the location, in the center of Rome, a few dozen steps from the Trevi Fountain.
The Penthouse flat is an old flat with rusty taps, a dirty terrace and a rusty table upstairs.
Eating breakfast every day in a down jacket due to the cold - something awful.
Attached photos as a proof.

- Bahyt (5/5): location is good but service needs improvements - The location is great, everything is near, the view from bedroom is good. We arrived at 11pm to leave our luggages, (thanks to the host) and came back at 3pm to check in. The room was still dirty dirty, cleaning team didnt arrive after 11pm. When I started to ask host like what was that? He said that cleaning team got car accicednt. Okay sorry for them but why didnt the host take control on cleaning around 3pm whether everything was okay? he just heard that apartment is still dirty when i messaged. It was such waste of time coz we needed to wait cleaning team till 5pm and we had limited time for the rest and it was super uncomfortable.
- Elizabeth (7/5): Good -
- Anonymous (10/5): Amazing stay in the city! - Everything. Great location, updated interior and very modern. The rooftop was beautiful. Attentive owner The shower was a little tricky, I was worried about slipping since it had a few slippery stairs and seemed to only have cold water.
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional - Location Downstairs air conditioning wasn’t great
We had to stay in our rooms
- Melanie (10/5): A perfect Roman Holiday! - Beautiful apartment in a fantastic location, only a minutes walk from the Trevi Fountain, and right in the heart of a pedestrian shopping/restaurant area.
Great set up with lots of homely touches like travel guides and artwork, nice seating area.
2 bathrooms was very handy for our family of five, and air conditioning in the bedrooms was a relief as it was a heatwave when we stayed, so the living area was quite hot.
It was the first elevator we had in Italy, so we loved that we didn’t have to walk up 5 flights of stairs every time.
Jaypee was an exceptional host- the arrival instructions were really clear and explained, he was really helpful and even organised the airport taxi for us. We would have loved to have more aircon in the lounge area, but it’s not a complaint because the whole of Rome was in a heatwave.
- Renata (8/5): Great stay in a center of Rome - The location is perfect, 2 minutes walk to Trevi fountain. The apartment is specious and very quiet. There is nice rooftop terrace. The host was very helpful and responsive. I give him 10/10. The house needs a little more cleaning (floors, dust) and bathroom needs maintenance (blinking lights and loud fan). If you read other reviews about AC downstairs, there is a unit there now so they listen and address people’s comments.
- Nadia (10/5): Very good location and very affordable - It is a prime location 3 minutes walk from trevi yet you don’t hear the noises of the street
Fully equipped home
They clean it very often and change the towels
Staff is very helpful and responsive Nothing
- Sara (10/5): All the family had a great time for our short stay. Would highly recommend it. I would definitely stay again. - So central. Lovely place to stay. Everything there you need. All the family loved it. Nothing
- Maurice (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (10/5): Great stay for family. - Such a great layout. Very quiet neighborhood. Host was great. When we needed something he dropped them off right away. A/C was nice and cold but only in the bedrooms which was fine for sleeping. All in all a great place to stay with family and only 2 minute walk to Trevi fountain. I would suggest installing some A/C in the downstairs area. Couldn't really sleep down in the pullout as it was way too hot and muggy.
- Emily (10/5): Very happy at Trevi apartments. Location, plenty of space. Would recommend. - Location was amazing. Felt very safe. Has lifts. Two bathrooms. Air conditioning in bedrooms. A little bit hot in living area but it was record hot temperatures when we visited. Bedrooms very cool with air conditioners.
- Daniel (9/5): Great location, well furnished large apartment with amazing views. - Amazing location, and spacious space No AC in the living area
- Stephanie (8/5): Very good -
- Zoe (10/5): The hosts were exceptional ⭐️ they organised our taxi from/to airport and they were continually in touch checking we - Perfect location. Central to everything and only a 3 minute walk to the Trevi fountain ⛲️ As we were a family of 5 adults the extra bed was in the lounge area and no air conditioning. So was very hot also the water pressure for the showers wasn’t very good but it didn’t spoil our stay.
