• Sandra (10/5): Can’t wait to stay at Casa Manara again! We should be so lucky! - Michela was a great host and helped us throughout our stay. My friend and I were both so grateful to her. Among the many ways Michela made our stay easier were some excellent tips about local restaurants. The street is a quiet one, the apartment is very clean and comfortable. There are two full bathrooms. It was easy to cook in the kitchen. The neighborhood is delightful with so many happy children playing nearby, a farmers market, convenient grocery stores, a funky bookstore (Tic), and excellent restaurants. You are not near a subway stop, but you can easily walk to most destinations. There were no problems at all!

• Loren (10/5): Loved the location and the host was AMAZING!! - The property was comfortable and well maintained. Loved that you were in the middle of the action but not too stuck in the MAIN city area. LITERALLY next door to all shops and restaurants. The property is not next to any Metro stations (at least from what we saw) so there’s that. But that was all!! Everything else was AMAZING!!

Modern apartment with comfortable beds functioning Internet and quiet. Apartment is on the 2nd floor so if you’re not keen on stairs it could be a problem. It wasn’t a problem for us.

• Richard (10/5): An oasis of calm in Rome - Casa Manara exceeded our expectations. The host, Michela was super flexible and very helpful about our check-in time, which changed due to travel arrangements. The property has every comfort you could expect and a lot of little thoughtful touches too. Location is super, with lots of restaurants and amenities very close by, but also very quiet and peaceful at night. All of the main tourist attractions are around a 30 minute walk. A real gem. Property is on the 2nd floor and there are no lifts. Not a problem for us as we could lift cases, but someone with limited mobility might struggle.
• Leda (10/5): A very nice place for a modern couple un Trastevere - I liked the comfort of the apartment and that the host has the delicacy to leave basic things that others don't leave, like a cleaning products in the kitchen...besides oil, salt, vinegar... I mean, nothing is missing in the apartment, not even those details that can help you a lot or ruin a moment. Michela is a super host: friendly, dedicated to her work and attentive at all times Good Mattreses We will definitely return We are a modern couple who like to have personal spaces. The apartment gave us two very complete and well-balanced spaces. Everything was fine. Zero complaints
• Leen (10/5): Fantastisch verblijf in gezellige wijk van Rome - Het is een geweldig appartement. Heel ruime kamers met elk een badkamer en zeer netjes. Alle voorzieningen waren er. Zeer stille straat ook al lig je in zeer levendige en gezellige buurt. Maar het beste van al was de gastvrouw Michela. Zeer hartelijk en we kregen heel veel spontane must do's. Ze is geweldig lief. Kan niets bedenken...

• Scott (8/5): Great location and central to everything, especially if you are walking. - Location was great. Central to be able to walk to see most of the tourist sights of the city. And close to cafes and restaurants to eat. Several flights of stairs to get to the apartment. Was ok for us, but I suspect older travelers or anyone carrying a lot of extra weight will struggle to get their luggage and themselves up the stairs.

• Veronica (10/5): Great appartment to enjoy Rome and also recharge after a long flight - Everything in the appartment worked perfectly.The location was great for exploring Rome .Bed was very comfortable and room was very dark with shutters closed, very quiet at night.Heating was good as you could lower temperature easily.Market just around corner and pharmacy, supermarket, Clothes shop within 5 mins walk. We didn't mind the 4 flights of stairs but some people might find them a problem.The street tended to be tightly parked up so could be difficult for a taxi in peak hours.We arrived and left at quiet times so no problem.
• Marina (10/5): Excellent Accommodation in the heart of Trastevere. Clean, comfortable, and best location. - The place was perfect for our stay. We traveled with 4 adults and a baby and the space was ideal for us with enough privacy, 2 bathrooms and lots of open space. The sheets and towels were great quality and the location is best in Rome. In the perfect place to experience real Rome and the best Roman cuisine. The host met us to hand over the keys and explain everything about the area and apartment. She also sent over some amazing dinner recommendations. Would 10/10 recommend for a medium size group and would stay again. everything was perfect.

• David (3/5): Overall very disappointing - The location Didn’t like how it presented with graffiti on the entrance. Didn’t like the four flights of stairs into the apartment having to drag bags up them after a five week holiday, didn’t like the garbage bins in the foyer on entrance, didn’t like the dilapidated condition of the building inside and out. The apartment did not meet our expectations how it presented on booking.com, total shock and disappointment.

• Jared (9/5): Stay here!!! Ignore the Grafitti on the condo entrance! - The host was amazing! She met us and let us drop our bags while explored the area. Before we left she gave us a whole run down of the apartment and a list of restaurants in the Neighborhood. Just know this apartment is up two flights of stairs with no elevator. Depending on your luggage size and physical ability this could be an issue.

• Jessica (10/5): Exceptional - This gorgeous apartment in the heart of Trastevere exceeded our expectations! From the outside it is very deceiving but once you open the door - it's incredible! So spacious with all of the mod cons and little things that made our stay much more comfortable. Coffee pods, washing detergent for the machine, multiple air conditioners. A huge main bathroom with a deep bathtub was very luxurious. The hosts were incredible, organising our transfers and also being incredibly understanding when our son accidentally packed the TV remote in his bag! We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to anyone 👍 Nothing!

• Steve (8/5): Very good - The facilities were clean, quite well appointed. The location is very good with access to grocery stores and restaurants. We never felt uncomfortable in any way. The kitchen had all the things we needed. The second bedroom is up stairs which are quite narrow. You have to keep your head low so as not to bang it. That was really the only criticism I could make of the apartment.

• Hans (10/5): This is a great host and property for your stay in Rome. Host communicates well! - Great location and lots of space in this flat. It's a fun modern place in an old building. (everything in Rome is old :-) we appreciated the ability to wash some clothes and have the full kitchen. We honestly didn't spend a lot of time there but it was a nice place to end our busy days and relax. Lots of good options for restaurants and shops nearby. It's within walking distance to many of the tourist sites in Rome. Hard to find parking nearby. Wish the bedding was a little nicer (white sheets people!). but the beds were ok.
• Sandra (10/5): Our stay at Casa Manara apartment was perfect, the location was great with lots to explore nearby - The property and location were perfect, the apartment was spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. The air conditioning in main living area was not functioning, thankfully we were able to open windows and with the time of year it was not extremely hot.
• Bridget (10/5): A very pleasant place to stay - Good situation, roomy, well appointed and a pleasure to stay in. Nothing really, because even though there were three flights of stairs I didn't really mind that.
• Venetia (10/5): Fantastic short break with my favourite cousin in a fabulous apartment in a beautiful city. - Fantastic apartment in a fabulous location. Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, provided lots of useful information, arranged taxi back to airport and checked with us that it had arrived. Little touches like the breakfast crispbreads, coffee pods, mineral water, spare converters etc. all appreciated and are nice touches. I can't really think of anything. If I was being super picky, stair-rail for the steps to the 2nd bedroom is slightly rickety and I don't remember it being clear that there is no lift as you would struggle if you had mobility issues. Apart from that, there is really nothing not to like about this apartment :-)

I didn’t like the graffiti on the door and building and the walls opposite the stairs were in need of repair and paint.

Great location in the centre of Trastevere. All the facilities you need. Quirky features. In a popular location but still quiet on a night. Comfy beds. The stairs to the second bedroom were a bit steep and the ceiling low.

More or less all major attractions are within 30 mins walk, and Trastevere alone is worth the stay. Close proximity to shops, great restaurants and awesome gelato. Hosts were very nice and provided a lot of useful tips. Highly recommended! The stay was great from start to finish, so nothing negative to report.

Michela and Fabrizo communicate well and are promptly available for questions. Gracie mille minor maintenance with needed some lights burnt out but really no problems.

• Denis (10/5): Spacious and cozy apartment in the middle of Trastevere - A very spacious and comfortable apartment, which has absolutely everything for living both for a few days and for a few weeks. Michela is a very hospitable and friendly host. The apartment is actually located on the third floor, it is necessary to climb the stairs, but it is not difficult. The house is located in the heart of Trastevere, but at the same time in a quiet location. The bedroom windows overlook the inner alley, so the noise from the street does not bother. The apartment has a pleasant atmosphere and is equipped with all necessary and modern appliances. A pleasant surprise was the presence of a capsule coffee machine, a small set of capsules for it and a breakfast set of toast and jams. After staying for 6 days, only the most pleasant impressions remained.
• Diana (9/5): in general a very comfortable stay in a spacious apartment with a helpful host . - Two separate bedrooms and bathrooms. Spacious. There was no lift and it was difficult to carry a heavy case to the second floor. However, Michela helped with this. Inadequate strong lighting by the upstairs bed for reading in bed.
