Guest Reviews
- Cruz Maria (10/5): Genial!!!
- Anna (5/5): - Great central location close to everything, big size and convenient check in process All surfaces are dated and could be refreshed, the windows did not close properly so you heard all the street noise very clearly. You will need earbuds if you are a light sleeper
- Tara (1/5): Awful - Worst hotel i ever stayed at Not in condition to stay in, old, dirty, molded
- Alannah (10/5): We really enjoyed our stay in Trastevere. Erika was super helpful and friendly and was on hand to answer any of our Qs - Very central location in Trastever, close to all of the good food and drink spots and easily accessible fm the airport
- Dvir (10/5): - The place itself is so lovely. We love this side of Rome!
- Isabelle (8/5): - L'emplacement, bon rapport qualité prix.
- Simen (10/5): Nice appartment in the middle of Trastavere. Short walk to most of the big attractions - Great location with many good resturantants close by. Temperatures in appartment was fine for us without AC, but in the middle of summer it might be a little hot.
- Radica (10/5): - We had a great experience, especially thanks to Erika, who was our accommodation agent. She was highly professional, very kind, and always willing to help. Her friendliness and professionalism made our stay much more pleasant. We truly appreciate her support and would gladly recommend this accommodation.
- martin (5/5): This is not a Luxury Apartment as described and is in need of some TLC. - Great location, helpful host, lots of lovely bars and restaurants nearby and nice break from the busy streets of Rome / sightseeing. The condition of the apartment was poor. There was mold in the shower, with a lose shower head and faulty shower door. The Apartment was tired and in desperate need of maintenance and a deep clean. Broken furniture, marks on walls, windows that don't close properly ( seals have failed) letting lots of street noise in. The weekends are busy with lost of people in the street, the noise was as if the window was wide open. I was surprised at the state of the apartment base on the reviews until we got a message from the host upon our departure, pleading with us to leave a 10* review and in her words 'even though the structure does not deserve it'... perhaps previous guests took pity? This apartment is a long way from the description and is not luxury.
- Patricia (10/5): Muy agradable, repetiremos seguro!
- Isaac (6/5): Nice host and good location for partying. Otherwise would stay elsewhere. - The apartment is located in the middle of Trastavere, surrounded by lively bars and restaurants. It is a great location if you want to go out late at night. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The number one issue is the noise. The bed is located right next to the 2nd floor window that is directly above/across the street from a loud bar. As a result, the apartment is very loud; we were frequently woken up by people yelling and shouting every 30 minutes until about 4am. This would likely be less of an issue if you either stay out very late or are not visiting on a weekend.
Beyond the noise, the rest of the apartment is just less nice than the photos represent in terms of furniture quality, space, linens, etc. Not a big deal on any of these, but felt like poor value relative to the cost.

Pomimo dostępnej kuchni brak noży do jedzenia, brak noża do krojenia. Naczynia do ponownego umycia. Brak zmywarki.

- Bailey (10/5): - Great location, had everything we needed. Host was amazing and shared lots of great recommendations!
- Massimo (10/5): -

- Munson (10/5): Our stay was relaxing and perfect. - The property was as described. Very clean. Erika was amazing. We had so many questions and she was so fast to answer them all. We will definitely stay again.
- Artemisia (10/5): First timers in Rome - Very convenient location, in a very lively neighborhood with many restaurants all around. Easy access from/to the airport and walkable distance to all sightseeing in Rome. Erika was very helpful and proactive in her communication, giving us all the necessary information on how to access the property. Nothing
- Sanne (10/5): Definitely will come back - Superlocation, superhost. Erika had all the answers to our questions. Gave us nice tips on where to eat. Appartement was clean but needs a little TLC. The bed was nice with extra pillows, bathroom with toilet, bidet and shower. You hear some noises from the street, but you are in the center of Rome so for us this was normal.
- Róise (8/5): Very good -
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kimon (9/5): Lovely start to our Italian Winter holiday! - I loved the neighbourhood of Trastevere! Beautiful streets, plenty of amazing restaurants, wine bars, markets and shops - we ate at Carlo Mente every single night. We stayed in the apartment over December/January and the apartment was warm and cozy and close to everything. The apartment was a little noisy with the patrons of the restaurant below coming and going, but we are good sleepers so that didn't really disturb us.
- Neha (9/5): Comfortable, cosy stay in a lively neighbourhood - Fabulous location - right around where the best restaurants are, very lively!
The room is clean, comfortable bed and nice bathroom.
Very easy and clear check in and check out! Bare in mind if visiting over a weekend - the neighbourhood is very lively so it is very loud - it doesn’t get quiet until 3/4am so bring ear plugs for a good night’s sleep!
- Naomi (10/5): Best stay in Rome. Great flat and area kind host awesome location. - Simona from Magenta was great and kind! We felt at home. The location is perfect and central! Was easy to get to and find. I enjoyed the most from the care and personal service and host. I’ll definitely come back and recommend! Thank you! The flat was big and nice we had everything we wanted the host was great and helped me! Very grateful
- Ieva (5/5): Not worth the money they ask for this apartment quality - Only the location as it is in walking distance to main cultural objects Bathroom under all critics and very loud until midnight and even longer as downstairs are restaurant
- Neva (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gabriel (8/5): Convenient and comfort - Excellent location within Trastevere. Walkable to key sites including Vatican Museum and Romes’s historic centre and the Colisseum / Forum district . There are good bus connections nearby to Barberini (and Villa Borghese) The excellent location within the vibrant Trastevere district means that external noise permeates the apartment.
- Radoslav (9/5): Superb - The location is perfect. We miss the air-conditioning. It is clear that it is not available, but when you cannot close the windows the late evenings and nights become loud.
- Tatiana (8/5): Very good -
- Beatriz (8/5): Very good -
- Marta (10/5): Exceptional - Very clear instruction about keys
- Alyssa (6/5): Pleasant - Great location! Noisy at night from street below, communication when checking in could improve. Instructions were fantastic but timing wasn’t clear
- Margaux (10/5): A sublime flat in a great location - come without hesitation! Top availability from the host! We recommend this rental! -
- Nathan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Soledad (9/5): Great location - Very comfortable bed and clean. The location was excellent and it was equipped nicely. Access is through the stairs, and the check in was easy but a bit complicated since I was alone. Otherwise, wonderful!
- Barbora (8/5): Very good - Location was great, also the apartment was very nicely decorated, it was a cozy place. Communication was great, everything was going fine. :) there is also a kitchen with basic equipment. Also glasses and corkscrew which could be very useful. :D Apartment was quite cold and windows could not be fully closed. Also shower could be more clean from limescale. :)
- James (6/5): Would've been nice, spoiled by the noise. - - Trastevere is a great location in general.
- The kitchen was very clean and easy to use and well kitted out.
- The shower was very good and powerful.
- The bed was comfy.
- The host was the most communicative, friendly and responsive host I've ever encountered on any of my travels. They responded to my questions very quickly at all times of day and even gave me advice about the city. Absolutely top notch. NOISE:
I want to preface this with a disclaimer that me and my girlfriend are not precious or delicate sleepers and we're a young couple used to sleeping in noisy environments like music festivals etc. With that in mind:
- The acoustics in the street outside mean that any sound outside is amplified. Motorbikes, cars and crowds of revelers are VERY LOUD, EVEN WITH THE WINDOW SHUT. Ear plugs were an absolute necessity to get any sleep at all, and even then if you are a light sleeper, I'm sad to say but you should stay somewhere else.
Unfortunately the apartment is right above a bar and seems to be a hangout spot for large numbers of people until late at night on a Friday/Saturday. On Saturday night there were people fighting outside until 2am, smashing glasses etc. What a shame. Then midweek we thought things would be better but unfortunately the Trastevere council bin collection happens at 4AM in the morning on a Tuesday and Wednesday! Literally 4am. That wouldn't be a problem if it weren't for the total lack of soundproofing from the street. Even wearing ear plugs, we were woken up with a jolt at 4AM by the crashing sound of the bins being emptied outside. 😭
This feels harsh to write in a review, but it has to be said. I can't believe other reviewers haven't mentioned just how bad this issue is. I know this isn't something that the host can easily fix, but they could at least take some steps such as:
1. Fix the window so that it properly shuts all the way. A new window would be a good idea with excellent soundproofing. Even then it'll still be loud in the apartment, but at least an improvement.
2. Fix the front door to the apartment so that it has some kind of acoustic seal. The hallway is also very echoey.
Luckily we are quite heavy sleepers and had brought emergency ear plugs, so we still had a good time in Rome whilst staying here. Still, I can't not mention the noise problem in my review.
- Garik (7/5): Good -
- Marjeta (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrea (9/5): Good Spot for Those Wishing to Experience Trastevere - - Good location, close to the busy heart of the Trastevere neighbourhood and very close to Piazza di Santa Maria in Trastevere
- Had everything you need incl. towels (plus extras), washing up liquid etc.
- Spacious
- Clean
- Felt secure
- Around the corner from a good place to rent Vespas
- Host felt very reachable - Takes a little while for the heating to turn on (up to 30 mins)
- Bathroom sink didn’t drain well and shower could do with a larger shower head just to balance out the water pressure
Overall however a lovely place to stay! Can be a bit noisy outside, particularly on a Saturday night but it’s Trastevere, and the buzz of life there is part of the appeal.
- Neta (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matthew (10/5): Perfect for staying in Trastevere - Character and location

- Louise (8/5): Excellent location, great apartment - awesome location. So close to everything! - Beautiful with enough space and facilities. Great contact and communication with the host who went above and beyond. A fan was supplied when we discovered there was no air conditioning which was great of the host to organise but property needs to put an air conditioner in!
- Priya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jodi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Caroline (10/5): Beautiful stay, would come again! - Clean, easy to access, comfortable and close to town centre N/a
- Evgeniya (10/5): Everything you need - It has everything you need) iron, manual AC, TV if you need, all consumables as shampoo shower gel, toilet paper. Shower got broken, I texted our host Margarita and within 15 mins it was sorted out ♥️🙏🏼 absolutely approachable. Door is easy to open, and it’s very possible to sleep with manual AC and open windows. Absolute yes ♥️ Would be great to have washing machine inside since it’s considered an apartment. But still great value for money 👌🏽
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melyssa (10/5): It was great location and we were very happy! - It was clean and well taken care of
- Anonymous (10/5): 10/10 - amazing customer service. clean, well located apartment.
- Warbrick (9/5): Clean, Great location and good vibe - Great location, close to lots of restaurants and walking distance to most tourist sites. Comfortable and clean with nice touches. Great communication from host (very helpful) Just a minor, but the lock/key on the roadside door is quite sticky and can take a bit to figure out
- Krista (10/5): Lovely apartment, a great home base for exploring Trastevere and Rome! - This apartment is immaculately clean, attractively furnished, and located in the most picturesque and lively neighborhood in Rome. The bathroom and kitchenette are well appointed. Check in was easy. Apartment manager Priyash communicated with us to arrange check in and was very helpful and accommodating. From the apartment to the Vatican, it was a pleasant 30-minute walk through Trastevere and along the River. On another day, it was just a short walk to visit Rome’s old Jewish Quarter. In the evenings, it was a short jaunt to the square for an apertivo, and many great restaurants are in this area. It’s a great location—Trastevere is definitely one of the most fun neighborhoods for eating, drinking, shopping, and wandering, and it is also very convenient for sightseeing. Be aware that Trastevere is lively until late at night—we could hear people talking in the street when we opened the windows. But this is true for any apartment in Trastevere—if you’re looking for a sleepy neighborhood with no nightlife, Trastevere is not the place to stay.
- Timothy (10/5): Exceptional - Great location and facilities in the heart of Trastevere
