Guest Reviews
- Zdis (6/5): Good location - Good location, close to Vatikan, walkable distance. Also, great transport from the airport, Rome- buses run all the time. Nice and clean apartment for two people. Good communication from the host.
BUT what a noise at night from the outside communal areas. Door slaming, people talking, banging... I saw other people reviews about the noise, but we ended up buying earplugs as the noise was unbearable all night. I would also prefer better mattress as it is very thin and smaller than the bed frame itself. Coming out of bed hurts your legs by touching the bed frame.
TV- only had TV shopping programmes on, nothing else to watch. No news or other programmes.
I would also prefer better security of the building since it is a ground floor flat. The front door was always unlocked.
- Martin (9/5): Superb - The host was very nice and helpful. The accommodation was clean, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Soap, shower gel, shampoo and hairdryer are available in the bathroom. Unfortunately, the entrance door to the building was damaged during the stay, which made an unpleasant noise when opening, which was disturbing at night. But that's not the hosts fault.
- Gallo (7/5): Good - The place was great!
There were a few issues on the toilet’s plumbing system but we spent most of our days outside exploring Rome so that didn’t really bother us Cozy bed, not too far from the subway
- Dina (9/5): Superb -
- Timofey (9/5): Superb -
- Crystal (8/5): Very good - The host was very good at communicating directions and asking upfront about arrival times etc. Our flight was quite late but she still catered to our needs. Very welcoming space and quite a nice collection of books in Italian. Some toiletries are provided with good hairdryer for girls with long hair. The property had lots of personal touches and presents itself as a quaint comfy and home-like environment. The location is quite close to the Vatican city and also have laundromats and other restaurants around the corner. It is not a touristy area so it's great if you don't mind being a bit further away from the crowds. We mainly cabbed but it is about a 12-15 min walk from the metro and they have bus stops across the street. (Do check the bus timetables and whether they are punctual or not so you won't be late.)
- Violeta (7/5): Good - The host was helpful and answered all our questions. The location is good with a lot of transport options. The place is on the ground floor, right to a busy street, so it's quite noisy. However, during the night, it's fine. The bathroom is spacious, but the shower is thiny.
- Alex (10/5): Comfortable value for money. - Closely located to food and sights, worst case scenario we had to take a bus for about 15 minutes. -
- Tatiana (9/5): Superb - I stayed for 10 days in thus apartment. It was very clean and it had everithing as described on booking. I liked the easy communication with Federica. It îs situated on the ground floor and it was a lot of noise, I slept with ear plugs every night.
- Henry (4/5): Tastefully furnished, but noisy and needed a proper clean - The room was tastefully furnished It was dirty and had dust mites. We complained to the owner on our second day, but it wasn't until I sent pictures of the effects the mites had had on my wife's arms, face and legs that a thorough clean was eventually made. We were also told that the tourist tax had increased and were asked to pay the extra, which we did. However, when we asked for a proper receipt, we were given one from a receipt book that you can get from in any bookshop. No evidence was given that the tax had been paid or was going to be paid. The worst thing, however, was the noise. The room was once the the room of the concierge of the apartment block. It is therefore on the ground floor and near the entrance, so you hear everyone coming and out and the cleaning lady cleaning the entrance hall at 7 am in the morning. The windows overlook the drive to the garage so there is also the noise of the cars going into the garage and little privacy, so the curtains have to be kept closed all day. It is therefore quite dark and the lights have to be kept on all day. On top of all this the apartment is on the junction of three very busy roads. Before we left my wife and I counted how many lanes these three roads had altogether and counted 11. You can imagine the noise. After a tiring day of seeing the sights of Rome we wanted to return to a peaceful flat where we could kick off our shoes, pour ourselves a glass of wine and relax. This was not possible. I imagine it is possible to put up with all this for a few days, but we were there for 9 and we were very happy to leave.
- Pedro (7/5): Good - Nice decoration.
Comfortable bed.
Large space. Ground floor close to a street with a lot of traffic.
The curtains let too much light in at night and morning.
Bath a little small and the door needed a fix, since it didnt prevent water to come out.
- Serhii (7/5): It is good but need renovation. It is not a huge problem if spending a day on Rome -
- Mancini (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ieva (9/5): Cosy flat for a lovely stay! - The flat was very cosy and clean! The hosts were flexible and always available. Air conditioning and Wifi worked well. The location is good but if you spend all day walking around the city center, it’s a bit of walk in the end of the day. Yet, it is easily accesible by the bus or metro, so at the end the location worked fine! All in all- we had a lovely stay! The shower was very tiny and the doors didn’t really close. This was not a big problem, rather an inconvenience.
- Mmoomomo (9/5): Cozy place - Room was very cozy, feeling like staying at home, own was very helpful A bit far, but easy to walk from metro, bath was small and some leak
- Lucie (9/5): Comfy bed - Comfy bed, great location, very accommodating
- Spencer (10/5): Exceptional - Great owner communication. Clean, comfortable and stylish apartment. Easy access to public transit.
- Nicole (9/5): Had a fantastic stay -
- Noela (8/5): It's okay! - The place is spacious and clean. There are a lot of good place to eat around the area. One particular place is Il Pappagallo a must go place, open 24 hours bakery, café and a restaurant. The Location is hard to find, we took the public transportation, that's my mistake The best way to get there is a Taxi,
The Location is in a busy street every 10 mins you will here the ambulance.
The bed is not the best but okay. She could put more towels considering we are there for 7 nights, but not to much a big deal, just to consider when booking is that long
- ელენე (8/5): Very good -
- Alex.mat (8/5): Very good - Convenient to transport, café, supermarket. Noisy city
- Alisa (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, nice and comfortable . The host was very friendly and helpful Shower cabin could be larger
- Elena (10/5): It was a very nice experience, in Rome, with this apartement! - The pan was not very good, but I use it.
