Guest Reviews

- Wendy (7/5): Excellent location and great host! - Wet easy access to get in Really hard beds and if you have any snoring people it vibrates the whole house
- davide (10/5): - Struttura comoda, accogliente e pulita.

- Rebecca (2/5): - The person was attentive but everything else was really dirty, not luxury and the toilet was leaking each flush onto the pull out sofa bed, the hot water would run out Mid-shower and the towels we were given were hair towels. Everything was really dirty, leaking toilet water, minimal hot water, tiny towels and dirty bed sheets and pillows
- eleonora (2/5): - The location was amazing, and since we had limited time, it really helped us visit many landmarks. Both the Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum are very close by.
The host is very kind and available for anything you might need. The terrace and the yard were not prepared in a way that would allow guests to enjoy them. The entire property is worn out and in need of renovation. The bathroom is fine.
It is definitely not suitable for four people; the fold-down bed is very poor, not comfortable at all, and worn out. Water also started leaking from the upper floor.

- Eva-Maria (4/5): Inget Luxury nest..
- Maria (4/5): We enjoyed the city. - Location and communication with host. The apartment is pretty run down (urgent update should start with shower, bed and sofa bed). Not exactly a luxury nest.
- Tamás (1/5): Borzalmas - Semmi Osszeesett alattunk az ágy, a wc ülőke egyik oldala le volt törve, össze vissza csúszkált, sötét és dohos a lakás, fekete penészes a fal, hullik a vakolat. Egyáltalán nem olyan mint a képeken

- Fuentes Ávila (10/5): - Everything was very clean and nice, the lady that received us was the sweetest. The 3 spaces were amazing, the rooftop, the room and bathroom; and the living room and kitchen. The facilities were amazing and we had the greatest experience thanks to that. There is nothing that I would actually say "I didn't like it"
However, being very thankful with everything we had I would recommend getting a new hanger for the clothes, and maybe I was just unlucky but the actual burners of the kitchen were a bit dirty and I cleaned them to work properly. Besides that, everything was good.
- Andy (6/5): Pleasant - Functional room, quite a good location, clean and tidy Bed was awful
- Jackson (8/5): Very good - Excellent, cental location to the Roman Forum, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and public transport
There were a choice of areas to sit if you didn't want to sit in the living area - you had a table and chairs outside the front door, or the terrace located up the spiral.staircase from the bedroom (they don't have a view though).
The apartment is located on the ground floor which is a bonus, although there are stairs to get up to the bedroom/bathroom (which were a bit creaky).
All in all, a great little apartment suited to my needs. The lock to get in the door to the apartment stuck quite often, making it hard to get in. The door to the washing machine didn't latch, meaning you you had to hold it closed so the water didn't leak.
Overall, it didn't affect my stay too much
- Shanti (8/5): So central, perfect nest base for relaxing when not exploring the sights. - Host was amazing, had a little issue with water at 1am and received a prompt reply. Communication, location and facilities were perfect for this stay!
- Emily (5/5): photos misleading, unfortunately not luxury. - The location was fantastic
Having a kitchen and washing machine was also great Unfortunately the photos are misleading, we didn't receive the nice amenities that show in the photo like soaps and lotions, the decor must've been all removed since these photos were taken. There were only 2 pillows, which were super thin just fluff, my neck is so sore. The shower was cold then burning hot, the shower pole itself looked like it was about to fall off the wall. I spent 15 minutes cleaning black mould out of the washing machine. We did not have anywhere to hang went washing as the clothes rack is broken.
The dishes were slightly dirty since the last stay. When walking barefoot our feet were black from the floor. I wouldn't call the place luxury. Owners need to close and do big restoration/maintenance for the price you pay it wasn't only worth location.
- Shifa (7/5): good location - The location. Central. But quiet. We were able to walk up to all the attractions. Had to use the bus only to the Vatican( which would have take 45 minutes on foot)
The cooking space though super small had everything we needed to prepare a basic meal.
The washing machine worked fine but we didn't use the spinner if it had one
The rustic ambience was nice.
The sofa bed downstairs was comfortable. but whoever occupies it has to climb up narrow stairs to use the washroom we arrived from across the globe at about 4.30 pm.Very tired. we couldn't open the access door as the latch wouldn't turn completely. The manager sent a guy 2.5 hours later until which time we were seated outside on the step to the entrance very upset and frustrated. The lock was not repaired during our stay. so we left the door partially closed and locked only the outer door. The service staff could enter anytime. we took all our valuables with us wherever we went. we did not receive any rebate for the inconvenience we suffered.
The space is extremely small and stuffy. suitable for only 2 persons.
No space to hang up clothes to dry.
The double bed had something brocken which made it very uncomfortable for the person sleeping on that side.
I felt the floor could have been cleaned better.
- Ann (10/5): We enjoyed a fabulous stay in Rome, you can't go wrong booking this apartment. - I liked that Danilo was just a message away if needed, the Apartment is so central, a few mins walk to Trevi Fountain and round the corner to the Unknown Soldier, about 15 mins from the Colessum, and about 40 mins max to the Vatican. Apartment has everything you will need for a city break.
- Chris (7/5): Worth it for the location and privacy. - Location was amazing. The apartment was very quiet with no outside noise at all. It was clean. And smelt nice inside the apartment. The shower was broken. The clothes drying rack was also broken. The pillows were very old and have gone ‘lumpy’.
- Marieta (9/5): Excellent - Clean and affordable None
- Adhivaragan (4/5): Disappointing - Location is the only advantage. 01, Its quite old building and renovated.
02, Opening the Door, You need special muscle to open the door or it wont open at all. The property owner must need to fix this issue.
03, Hot water was not there for 1 day. Especially in the freezing winter time, due to that we were late to several places on first day of our stay and missed to go some places. (I spent almost 1 hour to check what's going on for the hot water, still it was not helpful)
04, Price also quite expensive with this kind of facilities.
- Kristine (3/5): Poor -
- Paola (9/5): Location, excellent! - Walking distance to Fontana di Trevi, amazing location! N/A
- Graeme (8/5): Very good -
- Maria (7/5): Fair quality-price - It was clean, well assorted, it had ac, new inside The entrance and the court outside, bad odor outside
- Rose (10/5): Exceptional - Cute little apartment, great location to walk to attractions. Staff were lovey and super accomodating! Highly recommend 😊
- Barry (9/5): Had a great time so would definitely recommend - It was a nice spacious apartment, also a nice roof terrace which could be accessed from the 1st floor bedroom up a spiral staircase. Good facilities. Best of all was the location, stroll down the road and you were in the centre of everything. Would have liked the air con set a bit cooler.
- Steve (6/5): Disappointing and poor value for money - Location - centre of Rome
Privacy - not overlooked Advertised ‘City views’ was a lie.
Air con didn’t work at all
Mould growing on back of couch
Much smaller than photos suggested
Additional ‘city tax’ not pre-warned
Very expensive
- Sheila (5/5): Passable -
- Catherine (8/5): Very good -
- Janell (1/5): Worst place I have ever stayed in due to the smell. - Location Smell of mould was overpowering in courtyard and ground floor
Toilet seat broken
Air con wasn’t working properly. Not cold
Outside bench broken but couldn’t sit outside because of smell anyway
- Walter (8/5): Very good -
- Yerusalimsky (3/5): excellent location of the appartment but very uncomfortable stay. - excellent location poor conditions of the apartment - dark rooms, no good blankets, not enough toilet paper, old furniture, the air was not fresh, first night caught cold because we didn't know how to turn on the boiler and there were no warm blankets.
- Suzette (7/5): Location good cat urine bad - Location Smelt strongly of cat urine
- Curado (6/5): Pleasant - The location was 5 stars difficult to be better. No breakfast. Maintenance of equipment could be better, including some small repairs in facilities with some age
- Anastasia_sis (9/5): Superb - The location is perfect. There is everything you need around. Thanks to the host. He answered to everything we needed. The bed was big and comfortable. The place was clean. The only problem was in the bathroom. Collect water after a bath outside the cabin. You have to close the door properly.
- Oana (10/5): Overall it was great - E little bit small but very cozy There are small repairs to be made
- Anna (8/5): Very good -
- Bram (6/5): Pleasant - Location was excellent. Small welcome breakfast was provided. Host was available for questions and we were able to drop off our bags because we were early. Ground floor needs a renovation and rearrangement to accomodate 3 people. Apartment door lock is broken, not able to lock it properly. Kitchen furniture has seen it's best days, closet below sink smells mouldy.
- Leigh (3/5): Poor - Location Everything else
- Quinten (6/5): great locaton but to small, no light and a horrible folding bed. - The location was great ! Communicatoin went wel. The proparty was clean. So the appartment is located in the courtyard of a building on the groundfloor. There is no natural light entering or no decent view from any window. There was one decent double bed but the second bed was a horrible fold-out bed. I slept in this bed and my back was hurting for the entire trip. My friends who slept in the normal bed where happy with it. The property is too small to host more then 2 people. This should not be allowed. Once the folding bed is open there is no place to move about. To enter the bathroom you have to walk true a bedroom so there was litle privacy to use a toilet.
- Kanita (10/5): Perfect location, cosy stay - Host is very lovely and accommodating.
Location is perfect can walk to all the main tourist attractions.
Very close to shops
Very authentic Italian vibes
Host was happy to help me plan the trip before I even arrived
And was very understanding when it came to my toddler
- Kristian (5/5): It was ok, but the place needs serious attention to bring it back to standards - Location was good
Bed was comfy although a little narrow for 2 people
Had AC in the bedroom
Nice upper terrace but needs soft furnishings Only had AC upstairs
Bathroom door and shower door broken, water pressure in the bathroom sink was bad, very dark in the apartment, definitely needs money spent on it to bring it back to standard
Bins of the building were overflowing and smelling bad which you have to pass to get to the apartment
- Piotr (5/5): Passable - Great place, great hosts but place could use some renovation, a lot of equipment was barely working / damaged and overall looked very, very used. Available photos are from way before and paint too optimistic picture
- Michelle (10/5): Would visit and stay there again - Close local walking proximity to attractions and small touches such as toiletries/washing clothes facilities Nothing to dislike. If I had to be picky, maybe extra pillows
- Talita (8/5): Great location, friendly staff and very clean - Perfect location, 5 min away from almost all touristic points. Staff very friendly and easy to access the house. The bathroom door was hard to open but nothing really upsetting
- Nicola (8/5): great little place. has everything you need but a couple of things need fixing. having a central terrace was a delight - The terrace was lovely and the location was excellent. the bed was comfortable and the design and layout was well done. the hosts were accommodating and allowed us to do early check in for a small fee. Thé bathroom door was a sliding door but it was very difficult to open and shut as it was a bit broken. this meant I had to sometimes ask my husband to help me get out of the bathroom or just leave the door open. not ideal when you are pregnant. there is nowhere to leave luggage if the apartment is booked after you and nowhere very close to store bags for fee. it would be great if the host made an arrangement with a local resto or cafe.
- Kaecelyn (2/5): Very poor -
- Jeffrey (1/5): MOLD, MOLD MOLD. Couldn’t wait to leave. - LOCATION ONLY. The moment you walk into the courtyard it drops 20 degrees & you smell & see “BLACK” mold on the walls. Inside, it’s cold & damp, very dark, floors dirty and you’ll need the lights on even during the day. No windows. The bathroom shower leaks through the bottom all over the floor and the toilet seat was broken, so be careful! I leave the best part for last. The bedroom was totally unsanitary, the mattress was covered in yellow urine/? stains, a little bit of blood here & there, hair & dirt. The bedding on the bed and in the closet was not properly laundered and smelled, with human hair on it. I decided to sleep on the couch for the week. My clothes still smelled like mold when I arrived home. GOOD LUCK!
- Steven (4/5): Smelly not fit for purpose. - Location When we first went into the courtyard entrance, we thought this is a little different even quirky.
Sorry this building is in the middle of the courtyard surrounded by 5 story buildings all around.
The smell from the drains outside the door and coming up through the bathroom inside where terrible.
This property needs some money spending on it to bring it up to standard.
3 Adults stayed and it was cramped and small. We could not use the facilities to cramped and the smell.
You could not let children stay here and its only really big enough for 2 if you want the space to cook.
- Anonymous (7/5): Good -
- Paul (5/5): Passable - Vey little or no instructions or explanations on lighting, wifi hook up, etc. needs more towels. Courtyard is dirty and moldy.
- Mary (10/5): Great place to stay in Rome. - The location was awesome! close by to the Trevi fountain and most other attractions. Good coffee shop near by and gelato.
- Leigh (4/5): Adequate, not luxury - The location and ease of checking in were the best features of this apartment. The photos in the listing must have been taken after a renovation- the reality is not like that. Plaster was flaking off the walls, the walls were heavily marked from use/wear, the furniture was either broken or in the process of falling apart, the bathroom smelled of damp, etc. The standing shelves in the downstairs living area were coming apart and would tip over if you touched them. The floor lamp in the living room was so wobbly it was constantly in danger of falling over. The kitchen tap and shower had strange things going on with the temperature. The bathroom tap barely worked. The toilet seat was not the right size for the toilet nor was it actually fully fixed to the toilet. We couldn't tell if the spare linen was actually clean or not since it was crumpled up and stuffed into the wardrobe. The bedding included fleece blankets that didn't look like they had been washed. The clothes airer was so bent it wouldn't stand up (we sort of bent it back into a functional state). The arms of the sofabed were not attached to the sofa. The light fixture is coming off the ceiling in the bedroom. The wall light in the bedroom did not work. The bathroom door doesn't open unless you lift it up and push it in a certain way. The 'garden' is actually a roof terrace up a steep spiral staircase from off the bedroom balcony- we couldn't use it with our young kids. This apartment is in no way luxury.
- Stafford (9/5): Superb -
- Dc (8/5): Very good - Awesome location.
- Mohammad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Demi (6/5): A good place to stay if you’re not planning to stay inside for too long. - The property was fairly centrally located which made it extremely easy to get to and from the main monuments around Rome. Good for solo travellers on a budget or couples who aren’t looking for a romantic getaway. The ground floor living area was dark and smelt damp almost as if you were in a basement of a gambling shop. The plumbing for the shower came away from the wall whilst showering and hit my girlfriend on the head. The decor in general left a lot to be desired. There is a wonderful roof terrace which had lights that didn’t work so unless you bring your own lantern you’re better off downstairs.
- Kelly (8/5): Good location. - Very well equipped.
- Elena (6/5): Pleasant - Amazing location in the city center. Very cool and quiet place in hot days. The owner was very nice and answered all questions. Small two floors apartment, a bit old and in need of repair. Washing machine was broken and at night a piece of the wall fell off, near the air conditioner which scared us a lot. The coffee capsules were old and did not fit the coffee machine. The house has a slight smell of antiquity and humidity.
