Guest Reviews
- John (8/5): Great location - Fantastic location. Really clean with great amenities Beds a bit uncomfortable but nice linens
- Dominic (9/5): Great apartment in brilliant location. - Great location. Lots of character. Good amenities. Being so close to the square meant it was quite noisy, but the host left us earplugs which was very considerate.
- Delphine (8/5): Très bon séjour - L’emplacement est idéal car très central pour tout visiter à pied.
Hôte très réactif et à l’écoute. Un peu de bruit le soir mais tout à fait supportable.
- Joerg (9/5): Stylish property in superb location - The property is right in the heart of Rome, walking distance from many sites, with a lively market and lots of restaurants on its doorstep. Functionally equipped and very stylishly presented, the flat sits in a quirky, beautiful old complex of buildings. We felt very much at home during our stay. Its central location right above a market and restaurants gives you all the convenience and excitement of inner city life, it does also mean that you will hear others enjoying themselves.

- Lene (9/5): - Stedet og beliggenhed. Meget centralt. Manglede varmt vand på det lille badeværelse

- Michelle (10/5): Great historic apartment in the heartbeat of Rome. Host was fabulous and very accommodating he made us feel instantly w - Superb location to experience Rome and walking (or short cab ride) to all monuments. Great dining. Cute historic apartment that has everything for a great stay. Third room had no air conditioning
- Mayer (10/5): highly recommend! - perfect location !
- Grainne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tracey (9/5): Memorable - Safe, beautiful, great location No A/C in one room. WiFi didn’t work on second day.
- Jacinta (10/5): I’d go back in a heartbeat. - Unbelievable location, close to everything. Such a quirky stylish place. I loved it.
Michaela and Giuseppe were wonderful hosts. Very communicative and gave us wonderful information for the location and our stay. It is a lively square so there is a fair bit of noise. It didn’t bother me but one of my sisters found it difficult to sleep. Earplugs were provided though.
- Marcia (10/5): The location, comfort and charm of our accommodations were only surpassed by the delightful host! Thank you for sharing - Location

Clean and comfortable
- Tracey (9/5): A perfect location for a trip to Rome., and to stay in a historic building. - The location is perfect for accessing all the central sites and the building has an amazing history. So special to open your window on the iconic Campo Di Fiori and the daily market and the night life.
The hosts are delightful and super responsive and friendly. Nothing to say.
- Lindsay (8/5): I VERY MUCH LOVED THE LOCATION AND EASE OF IN AND OUT. - LOCATION AND VERY GOOD HOST A LITTLE SHORT ON COMFORTABLE BEDS
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (9/5): Superb -
- Doug (9/5): Excellent apartment located in the heart of the action. - This apartment is lovely. It is located right off the market square. It is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom place perfect for our family which included two teenagers. My only complaint is the noise. Due to its location, there is noise most of the day. The owner gave us earplugs, which worked well, but I would caution anyone who cannot sleep with earplugs to look elsewhere.
- Schimmelfing (9/5): Superb -
- Mk (8/5): Excellent location to explore Rome from. -
- Susi (9/5): Superb - Lovely apartment and host. Great location.
- Family (8/5): Great location - Fantastic location. Had good restaurant options nearby. Very safe and secure place, and the market place is right behind, so it was quite the happening place. Host was super helpful. Only feedback is to improve the AC in the rooms. AC was not effective in all rooms, only the living room and one of the bedrooms had decent AC. The other 2 rooms didn’t.
- Brian (7/5): Great location but warm in August even with half AC - The location of the apartment was the best feature. Within a 30 minute walk to the Colosseum, Trevi fountain, Pantheon, and Travestere neighborhood. We weren't bothered by the noise from the restaurant activity outside. Keep in mind that half of the apartment is "air conditioned," and one of the bathrooms is very warm due to a restaurant located underneath. No room was cold by any means. I'm sure the experience of the apartment is much different during cooler times of the year. The owner is very nice and acknowledged all of this.
- Robert (8/5): A great apartment in a safe and interesting area. - It is in a wonderful area with fresh food markets in the daytime and excellent restaurants in the evening. It was within walking distance for many places and finding a taxi was very easy.
The apartment was comfortable and we appreciated the two bathrooms. We were supplied with some toiletries, coffee, sugar, juice and a bottle of wine.
Guiseppe was there to welcome us and gave us a guided tour. He was a very friendly host. The property was a bit dark in evening and the power supply was tricky. A fuse blew if too much power was being used. Very easily remedied.
I would not let issue prevent us from staying here again.
- Lasky (10/5): Lovely owner, charming apartment and convenient to everything! - Location, decor, comfort and owner’s responsiveness. Nothing
- Jdmia (6/5): It is a nice apartment but NOT for the summer season. - The location and size of the apartment. My low review score for confort which influences the value and the overall rating of the appratment is because of the air conditioning (AC). The description given on this site says "Air Condition" and although it has some level of AC one on the kitchen and one in ONE of the bedrooms that is still deceiving. The AC in the room it barely cooled the room to allow us to sleep without sweating. Our stay was during the beginning of summer and it was very hot in the bedrooms without AC to the point that those who selpt there were sweating all night. That is NOT comfort nor does it qualify as an apprtment with air condintion. It is very unconfortable to sleep in a room that is at 80-85 degrees farenheit at night. I felt that the description was deceiving. The owner should be honest and state that AC is only limited to two areas and let the guest decide if they wish to book the place. If I would have been told I would have booked something else. Furthermore the preive we paid was not cheap to be in an uncomfortable setting. This is why I cannot give it a high score nor recommend this place for those that are coming to Rome during the summer.
- Diana (10/5): Bellisimo - Great location, wonderfully entertaining piazza, comfy beds. Not sure if listing mentions it but there IS a washer. Early June wasn’t too warm but 2 bedrooms have only fan, not AC. Might get rough in July.
- Roycroft (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barbara (9/5): Loved the old building and the charm of the area. - Loved that it felt like we were in a home. There was coffee in the drawers, water in the frig, a bottle of champagne for us, soap and shower caps, good beds, games, air conditioner in the master bedroom and main living area. The location was terrific. Nice coffee bars and restaurants. And our host arranged for taxis to the airport. Could ask for a more accommodating host. There was a lot of noise from the Campo Fiori but our host provided ear plugs if we needed. The noise didn’t bother me but it is pretty much of a party at campo every night!
- Penny (9/5): Perfect and we loved the location. - Location was excellent and felt very safe. The apartment was lovely and comfortable. Wonderful host who went above and beyond. We would definitely stay here again. A bit noisy at night.
- Jackie (9/5): Definitely want to stay her again, it suited us perfectly - The location was excellent. It was a good size for 5 people. Facilities were what we needed. The host Guiseppe was very welcoming. He warned us of potential noise from campo fiori but we all slept well. Nothing
- Chantal (9/5): Fantastic home in Rome - We loved this apartment. It is not the instagram one but so much better: authentic and cosy.
We were 2 couples and each had a private bathroom, which was perfect for us.
Ideally situated within walking distance to all the main places.
We were in contact with Giuseppe before we arrived, and it was very easy and simple to communicate with him. It was great to find all the basic amenities in the house and much more (cofee, tea, juice, water etc)
We would love to come back here. If you are a light sleeper, this place is not for you.
It can be quite noisy but we enjoyed listening to the street artists on campo di fiori which is right below the living room window.
Guiseppe provides ear plugs :)
A top up mattress would be a plus in the bedrooms overlooking the piazza.
- Kim (10/5): Perfect place to stay!! We will be back for sure!! - It was spacious and great location!! The owners were amazing and helpful to us!! The noise from the piazza didn’t bother us. We just shut the windows and shutters and you could barely hear anything. We loved the location and everything about it!!! Nothing
- Patti (8/5): Close to everything! - Excellent, central location. Easy walking distance to everything! Wonderfully kind host! As in other reviews, the noise at night from the restaurants downstairs. They stay open til the wee hours and crank up the music. I rented this place knowing full well this aspect...I wore earplugs and there was no problem!
- Jacqueline (9/5): Superb - Having 2 bathrooms between 4 people was very useful. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. The location was excellent for walking to major sights, including Trastavere, the Colosseum and Piazza Navona. The apartment overlooked the Campo de Fiori, which was lovely. The only drawback was the noise each night which was very loud and often woke us up, despite being provided with earplugs.
- Juli (8/5): This apartment gave us an Italian experience. There was coffee, champagne, and water when we arrived. We enjoyed the loc - we loved the location of this apartment It could be noisy due to the square right under bedroom windows. Liked that they left earplugs for us to use.
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Herchel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Claire (10/5): The perfect Roman stay! - Amazing apartment in a perfect location! So close to everything and in the heart of Rome!
Guiseppe was a fantastic host and so helpful :)
- Leo (10/5): Exceptional - The host (who is absolutely lovely) met us on arrival and gave us a tour of the apartment and showed us how to use all of the appliances. The location is absolutely superb, but due to that there's a little bit of noise coming from the markets and restaurants just outside. That being said, it was not loud enough to prevent us from sleeping at all. There was even noise supressing earbuds provided if you needed them (which we didn't). Would highly recommend this place and will definitely be staying here again next time we're in Rome!
- Brian (10/5): We absolutely loved this charming apartment! - There are many great things about this property. For starters, the owners are friendly and super helpful, but the things we most enjoyed were the great neighborhood and the charm of the apartment. We felt at home with all the amenities we would need and the location is so perfect and approachable for the big city of Rome! Rome is a very warm city and the air conditioning in this apartment struggles to keep this unit cool outside of the main living space. Fortunately there ceiling fans in two of the bedrooms that helped out a lot and a couple portable fans as well.
- Angela (9/5): Great host with a lovely home in a central location. I would highly recommend this property - Beautiful homely apartment in a great location. It had everything we needed. The host was amazing and met us the day we arrived and explained how everything worked. They had left us a bottle of sparking wine and some bottles of water and plenty of coffee.
The plaza outside added a great atmosphere and was busy but the apartment was very sound proof and we didn’t wake up with markers or late night parties.
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good - Great location being close to central Rome The plaza is very noisy which can make sleeping a bit difficult for people who struggle with sleeping
- Taj (9/5): Superb -
- Jackie (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, very central. The apartment was equipped with every we needed and more.
Giuseppe was very lovey and accommodating.
- Jenna (10/5): Fabulous stay! - A charming Italian apartment in a fantastic location, in the heart of Rome on a lively square with lots restaurants and shops, aswell as a daily market. Giuseppe kept in touch and made sure we were ok, nothing was too much hassle. Would definitely stay here again if we were to come back to Rome. Nothing we didn’t like.
- Allen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jessica (9/5): Superb - extremely clean and great location the noise outside
- Anonymous (7/5): If you like to sleep, look for something else! - great location near market and walking distance to
a lot of sites. The NOISE! be aware the bars are noisy until 2am and then the market people set up around 5:30 or 6. the restaurant on one side gets pretty loud early as well. Only receiving possibly 3 hrs of quiet time is just hard when you are touring all day and exhausted at night. Also, only being informed of the noise and provided with earplugs upon arrival is not right. You are literally stuck at that point!
- Charlie (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was amazing and very helpful. The apartment is situated in a very good area of Rome that is accessible for the heart of Rome (Vatican, Fontana di Trevi etc. And it's surrounded by very good restaurants.
- Kevin (10/5): Great Location - It was a great place and location. Giuseppe was very attentive and took care to make sure everything was explained and comfortable for us. It is noisy at night because of the piazza but that made it more authentic and we really enjoyed it. We were provided with ear plugs if we wanted to use them. We would stay here again.
- Gabriella (10/5): Charming, convenient stay in the heart of Rome - the property is fantastically located right in the heart of Rome. All major monuments were maximum a 20 minute walk away. The apartment was clean, comfortable and beautiful. The noise levels of the market and restaurants was a little louder than expected, however it adds to the ambience and could easily be looked over.
- Sam (10/5): The owner was so nice and the home was lovely. - The noise. It was loud at night and we had to wear ear plugs to sleep.
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - Everything. The hosts Giuseppe and Michaela and their daughter Delfina were charming and helpful from the outset of communication. The location is phenomenal, in the historic centre with the apartment accessed from the Piazza Farnese and overlooking the Campo Di Fiori, market in the daytime and a lively spot with a plethora of restaurants at night. It’s a beautiful old building, but the apartment has all the modern amenities and is very tastefully decorated. The sheets, duvets, towels etc were all of an excellent quality and very clean. This is a minor gripe. The price for the brilliant location is that one side of the apartment (overlooking the beautiful Campo Di Fiori) is noisy until very late at night, so good ear plugs are highly recommended for light sleepers, while on the other side a sensitive nose may be troubled by the air vents of the restaurants below. But, as I say, it’s a minor gripe.
- Yogev (8/5): Very good - A beautiful and big 3 bedrooms apartment with 2 bathrooms which was perfect for us.
The building is safe and clean and located at the back of Campo de' Fiori, which makes it close to the city attractions from one side and to the attractions and restaurants from the other side of the river It is noisy. If you are sensitive to noise, it can be a problem. At night the restaurants and the bars are full of people and from 6 am they are starting to build the market.
- Lenard (10/5): Giuseppe, the owner, was exceptional. He was waiting for us when we arrived and walked us through the apartment, which w - The apartment was especially well laid out for a 17th century building. We were delighted with the location overlooking Campo de Fiore. Bit noisy in the Campo during the evening, but it did not keep us awake as we were happily tired at the end of each day’s sightseeing. Decent restaurants nearby, and a fantastic pastry shop which has been in the neighbourhood for 60 years.
- Edward (9/5): Great apartment, great location -
- Carmen (9/5): Superb - Excellent location, quite centrally to everything we wanted to see.
The atmosphere was amazing as the streets were always busy and the cafes under our apartment were always full.
Cute little apartment and perfect for our group of 5, plenty of room, clean and comfortable beds.
Giuseppe was a great host, very informative and greeted us at the door upon arrival. Loved that personal touch. Due to the NY festivities and the daily market (which we were advised about) it was a little noisy. Windows blocked out most noise but if you are sensitive to noise this apartment is probably not for you.
We were so tired from exploring we didn't notice it too much.
- Gillian (9/5): Superb - Greeted by the owner who was very helpful. Excellent location, easy walking to the main historical sites. Loved the apartment and the apartment building, full of character and had everything that we needed and more. Noise from the restaurants in the Campo de' Fiori could be a problem for light sleepers. Ear plugs are provided. It didn't spoil our stay at all.
- Kaye (10/5): Wonderful hospitality, perfect location to experience the life of Campo di Fiori. - Even though we arrived at 1am, our host Guiseppe met us and took us up to our appartment (carried my bag) and took the time to show us around the appartment. They had stocked the fridge with some essentials - juice and a bottle of champagne. The appartment is right on the Campo di Fiori - so it was wonderful watching the going’s on from our 2nd floor appartment. The beds are really comfortable. That we had to leave after 5 magical days.
- Declan (10/5): Our stay was exceptional. Totally recommend - Great location and lovely homely place to stay Nothing as everything was great
