• Kyle (3/5): Poor - Much smaller in person, the shower didn't work properly, the room is on the 12th floor and the lift only goes till 11th floor then you've to climb a narrow spiral staircase with your luggage. The area around the entrance of the building is not that great, it's okayish
• Nicole (10/5): Cảm ơn 🌸 - My stay at Librè far exceeded my expectations! I have loved everything about my stay there and I will definitely come back when I will be back in Hanoi. The location was perfect, a lovely walk towards the main old quarter and just a few minutes from supermarket, Temple of Literature and Vietnam Fine Arts Museum (super recommended visit). Ho Chi Min memorial is also very close, in a short walk you can reach the lake and relax on the shores, then reach the Pagoda. the studio was very lovely and well curated, it made me feel soooo cozy! The owner is a lovely person and she was always available by whatsapp to answer any question, awesome communication. The security guard is a good man and even though he can’t speak english, with google translator communication was smooth and nice. Also i work online and the wifi worked very well! I am very happy about my time there ⭐️ 10/10. Cảm ơn 💚

Photos of the Standard Studio room do not correspond to reality: the window is painted over (not enough natural light, no view of the street). The room needs renovation. It is inconvenient to pay for the first night via PayPal

I found a lot of trash and even mold.
• Diana (8/5): Very good - The good thing is that the place has kitchenette area where we can cook whatever we want and enjoy our homemade food even at the midnight time. Cause normally, for the long stayed, we miss our origin food or the taste that we want to have. So, Libre makes us feel own room to enjoy staying. The key is that we can easily to collect. I can also communicate via whatsapp. They do inform the cleaning service timing beforehand.
• Lore (5/5): A little bit disappointing - The communication goes very smooth. They are very friendly and helpfully. Contactable every second of the day. The location is perfect. The room was not what we expected. It is an old room with bad quality furniture and our room was not cleaned well. There was dust on the toilet (indicating that it was not cleaned). Also you hear an irritating noise of the elevator all the time. It’s also not safe.
• Teodora (9/5): Superb - A nice clean simple place. It's about 30min of walking to the Old city center. Theres a small kitchenette, the bathroom is very well stocked and clean. The staff is very active on WhatsApp, where I communicated with them ahead of my arriving. Overall a good choice!
• Lamiae (5/5): Okay stay but I wouldn't go back - Good wifi. People who manage WhatsApp are very fast to reply. Room has basic things you'd need (shower, hairdryer etc) The apartment was clean They also have a tv with Netflix although I haven't used them Well, first of all, although there are people joignable on WhatsApp, it is still inconvenient to do things remotely. I think it should be mentioned in the announcement so that we're aware before making the announcement. The room does not look like the pictures. I do realize that one would need to pick good pictures for their booking announcements but still, my room looked like a dull version of what I saw online. The mattress was less than 10cm width so it was anything but comfortable. After three weeks in Vietnam, I was kind of surprised to have such a mattress, especially that we're talking about an apartment not really a hostel. Also, I was in the 10th floor but I could hear everything happening in the street.

• Olga (9/5): good stay, but stressful before the arrival - Basic accomodation but everything necessary was provided. The room was clean. No problems with Internet connection or hot water. When I contacted the staff, they reacted promptly. The people working in the property were nice. The street where the property was located, was quiet at night time. Not far from the main attractions. In my booking confirmation from Booking.com it was clearly stated that no pre-payment was needed and that the full amount of money was to be paid in cash upon check in. But I got a surprising email from the property one day before my arrival. They informed me that if I did not pay a deposit before the day of my arrival, then their system would automatically cancel my booking. I was so confused that I had to call the Booking.com Help Line and asked for their assistance. The member of the Booking.com staff contacted the property and then returned to me, informing me that the property explained that the email was sent to me 'only as an option' and that they were ready to accept my payment upon arrival. I strongly disagree that any 'option' may possibly contain the following information as it was written in the email: 'If we do not receive the room deposit within 3 days leading up to /the date of my arrival/, our system will automatically cancel your reservation.' Sadly, I can not be grateful to Libre Homestay for my stress and confusion that was caused by the contradictory information about the payment before I arrived at the property. When I arrived, my payment and .check in went smoothly. I wish this business to flourish, and I hope they will take my comment into consideration for the developing of their business for better.

• Kristin (8/5): Reasonable accommodation in a central location with a few issues - The staff is super friendly and helps you with everything you need, if something is broken at the apartment or there is an issue they will immediately try to fix it you just have to ask them I really like the location of the homestay becaus it is very central, but in a non-touristy area where prices are lower. You can walk to Ho Chi Minh mausoleum and other sights or take the bus there because the bus stop is very near I liked the view from the room and it being bright. The kitchen was also well-equipped (just missed a big spoon). The TV was huge and rotatable, you can watch Netflix (they have their own account for the homestay) on it and YouTube. The bed was also fine and not too hard. Good thing is you can wash and dry your laundry for free, on the 13th floor is the equipment which was very nice. Since we almost all the time we're outside, it was a good accomodation for the price. Edit: The staff made sure to get rid of the ant problem, after I wrote the review. I cannot confirm, how the situation is there right now, because I haven't stayed there afterwards, but I appreciate the immediate action taken. Same goes for the shower. It was repaired afterwards, so I was told. That's also why the next is deprecate Sadly there were a few things that made are stay a but bothersome. Because there are people keeping food in some of the apartment there are ants almost EVERYWHERE even in bed they come up to you. We informed the owner about the problem and she said it is hard for her to take action because it is mostly because of the other apartment sresidents, however I feel like you could set up ant traps in the room it self to keep it cleaner and ant-free, because spray will not do a good job here with the large amounts of ants. The second thing that bothered us was the shower, for one and a half days we had no warm water because we mistakenly thought the boiler was damaged, but it was just turned off because we accidentally switched a unlabeled button at the entrance, we thought was for the lightening. The owner helped us fix it but I think you should label that button in the future😂 And the third thing was the shower itself. While showering the shower hose disconnected from the showering head and water splashed everywhere. Re-connecting them did nothing as the attachment is broken, in the end I just used the water hose to shower. The owner came and looked at it, pressed the showering head onto the hose, let water through it with very low pressure and said it was fixed, but immediately after it fell off again while showering. I'd advise to replace that. And be AWARE you have to carry your luggage one floor up from the elevator's 11th floor to the 12th on a fire-escape escalator because the elevator just goes up to the 11th floor.
• Natalia (2/5): Most unfortunate bed, most noisy apartment ever - The air-condition and the wifi worked well. Thin, hard mattress with the bed boards creaking at every move. You could hear literally everything from the neighboring apartments (sex, tv, laughter, etc.). At 1.30 a.m. a man was smoking in the corridor with the door of his apartment open and the TV playing at full blast. Even though she was responsive, we never saw the manager of the rooms. We paid for the room at the doorman in order to take the keys, he could not speak English at all and he was anything but friendly. The bathroom was muldy, with a beatle and a small gecko in it. There are no restaurants close to the neighborhood.

• Elizaveta (2/5): Nice location, bad condition - It’s not far from the main touristic places. The room is quite clean. The room doesn’t look like in the picture. The facility is quite old, the walls are paper thin, AC doesn’t do its work because the windows are very big and when it’s sunny, it’s impossible to cool the room. If you work online and need stable wi-fi, choose another place. I’d asked to solve the problems with wi-fi and AC. The technician came, observed the AC from different sides, switched it on and off and said that I needed to close the door to the bathroom to cut the space. Great decision indeed! He tried to figure out the internet problem but internet was only good enough for scrolling tik tok. After I’d run a speed test on my laptop and it had showed a very slow speed, he said: ‘That’s a shame’. After that experience which stole a half of my day from me and didn’t lead to any positive results, I didn’t see a point in talking about the facility with the host because my request of changing the room had been ignored and the problems hadn’t been solved. Although, if you need to stay a night or two, this place is fine.

• Jana (5/5): Okay for one night - There was Netflix and Wifi, which were pretty decent. The old quarter is just a quick ride by motorbike. This property has seen better days. The room was quite small in size too, I'm a very small person (5') and I could touch the ceiling when I raise my arms. Both the bed and couch had hard cushions too.

The security man doesn’t speak English, but is always helpful and very kind. The operators here went above and beyond for us, I cannot thank them enough, they are so helpful and kind. Overall, it was a lovely stay. We would come here again if we were wanting to stay in the area. Nothing!

The customer service through whatsapp also easy to contact. The facilities are quite old. The bed was very hard, I really hope they will change it to make us sleep more comfortable. Also, please brief the staff properly to minimize miss communication.

Our staying was good, there is a self check in procedure (kind of) with a security guard that doesn't speak English but tries its best to be helpful. We didn't have any problem. Shower in the bathroom even has the separating glass (unusual for vietnamese toilets!)!

It's also quite close to various attractions. The room itself has a very nice view during the night. Pretty satisfied with the host's responsiveness on WhatsApp. The security guard didn't speak English but only Vietnamese but tried his best to help when I asked questions.

• Rita (7/5): alright - it had a lot of windows but if you want to sleep longer the room is quite bright. the bed we stayed in was basically on the floor and for the price we paid I was expecting a bit more than that. it was super clean tho, but if you want to do some sightseeing it is quite far from the old quarter, closer to the train station.

Not so noisy if you close your windows so all good The first day was not super great bc of the mattress and the blanket. I got itchy and could not sleep properly. I asked for a change for the next day and it went well.

The rooms are really nice, the hotel provided me a pick up service from the airport and I appreciate a lot that the driver waited for me while I went through customs. The managers are always online to answer all your questions: it was my first visit in Vietnam and I didn't know a lot of things, but the manager explained me in WhatsApp where to exchange money, buy food, how to buy a sleeper bus ticket and also helped me to get a taxi - incredible service, I definitely recommend! Everything was great. No negative feedback. All the expectations were confirmed, the hotel was really nice.
