• Artur (9/5): A city full of life - Very nice hosts:) They prepared the room well in advance, for which I am very grateful. There was also a snack prepared for me and water. There is also coffee and tea in the room There were enough towels. Moreover, the hosts told me that if anything is missing, I can report it to them. The location is very good, you can also find nearby grocery stores, apart from restaurants, to buy quickly things like water. The toilet could be a little newer

• MacDougall (10/5): I had 2 days to see as much as possible of Milan and this property was perfect for me. - It was very convenient to the Metro and so easy to get to the major tourist spots by walking or public transportation. The room was small but the balcony provided great views of the neighbourhood and added so much character. Gillian was so helpful providing lots of advice and the communication was great. Nothing

• Aleks (9/5): Lovely place for a short stay in Milan - Very welcoming host, showed everything; was very kind; left a lot of snacks treats, which was surprising and very handy - Very clean; all the furniture is in good condition - Despite the room is quite small everything is very comfortable - Super lovely terrace with a view on pretty streets and rooftops of Milan - Was not a dealbreaker for us, but you need to understand that the room is quite small — for example we could not fully open our travel suitcase. Keep it in mind if you are travelling with a lot of luggage

• Laura (10/5): Miellyttävä vierailu! - Söpö minikoti, jossa kaikki tarpeellinen. Terassi oli ihana. Ilmastointi toimi kesäkuumalla hyvin. Pientä italialaishenkistä aamupalaa oli jätetty kahvin kera. Yhteydenpito emännän kanssa toimi erinomaisesti. Sijainti aavistuksen syrjässä, mutta julkiset yhteydet toimivat hyvin.

• Maria (7/5): Cute but very modest tiny place for a solo traveller - Very nice area, not too far from the Duomo, nice mansard balcony, coffe machine, the owner tried her best to turn the area into a cozy space but... Tiny room, with beams that force you to walk half-bent except about 2 or 3 feet immediately around the bed, also tiniest bathroom with no room to turn or put anything down, no dishes or cutlery except two saucers and 2 teaspoons. No TV.

She is so accommodating and helpful on how to reach the metro and places that we want to go to. She even call a taxi for us. Location is close to everything

Beer, juice, water in the fridge and packaged snacks. Very small, particularly the shower and bathroom. Low ceilings in spots. Elevator stops one floor below

The room was perfect for a solo traveler - clean comfortable and nicely decorated. I especially loved the balcony. Nothing - it was perfect.
• Neil (10/5): A perfectly equipped apartment for a short stay very near to central Milan. - Our host sent us clear instructions to make our way from the train station to the property which was really helpful. We were met by our host on arrival & able to check in at 12.30pm. The flat is ideal for a 1 or 2 person short stay of 2 to 4 nights in downtown Milan. The terrace was a wonderful bonus! A 20 minute walk to the Duomo. 9 stops from Milan station on a Bus. Just 30 minutes from Linate airport via tube which was great at the end of our stay. Highly recommend this flat! Literally nothing!
• Olga (10/5): Exceptional - The room was very nice, clean and cozy, supplied with everything we needed - towels, toiletries (hand soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and even room spray with beautiful scent). It had a coffee machine, coffee capsules, cream and sugar, kettle, tea bags, refrigerator, bottled water, and some snacks - all included with the price. Gillian, the host is great - very friendly and ready to assist. The location is close to the city center, about 20 minutes by foot. Public parking is nearby (4 minutes walk from the apartment). I would highly recommend this place for a Milan stay We liked everything ♥️

• Stephen (10/5): Wonderful Space in Milan - Great location in a beautiful old apartment block. The host lives in the block too and was on hand to welcome us and say goodbye at the end. She was so helpful in giving us hints and tips for our star, recommending restaurants and offering us advice on the best way to get around, including the trains to Monza for the F1. While the space is not huge, it was more than adequate for us as we were out all day and back in the evening in time to have a glass of wine on the balcony before going to sleep. The room is also air conditioned, which was very necessary due to the hot weather. It was also very peaceful. This place did everything we needed of it, at a good price. There are no negatives.

• Carl (8/5): Nice place to have as a Milan headquarters for a few days - Nice little bedsit overlooking the roofs of Milan. Our hostess was helpful and attentive. Very comfortable bed. THe shower was really tiny, especially for me as a moderately large and tall person.

The apartment was in an attic, so there were some sloped ceilings. The terrace was fantastic and private. It looked out onto a side street which was quiet for being in the city. Bus transportation was nearby. There was an elevator to get to the room, except for one flight of stairs. The host provided some water and snacks upon check in. I thought I lost my key, and the host was very kind about it. She was out when I called her about the key, and she came back to let me in. I was allergic to the laundry products she used. They were scented. I did not mention this to the host. Most people are not affected by scented products, it seems.

Gillian gave us recommendations for dinner, places to see, and then booked us a table at the restaurant! Another day, call us a taxi! The most amazing reviews!!! She went above and beyond providing us with snacks in the fridge, water and even beer! We got a voucher for breakfast both mornings at a local cafe where the croissants were amazing. Location was great, easy to get the tram, bus or metro all over the city. Gillan gave us great recommendations for things to do and how to get there. The location also felt safe. Would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Milan! Nothing at all!

The bathroom was fully equipped with soaps. The balcony was beautiful and peaceful. It’s very close to public transport. Gillian called a taxi when I left early in the morning. I travel alone and I felt so safe and comfortable because she was so service minded.

• John (9/5): Great place to stay in Milan - Gillian is a wonderful host. She answered all our questions promptly and nothing was too much trouble for her. The apartment was in a great location, easy to walk or for public transport to all the important locations in Milan. Though the apartment is in the roof both my wife and I are over six foot tall and the apartment did not feel small to us. If we return to Milan we will definitely try and stay here again. For food I would recommend Cantina di Manuela (local) and Gnocco Frito down by the canals.

• Caitlin (8/5): Cosy room in quintessential Italian neighbourhood, with lovely balcony and wonderful host - Great location in a safe, quiet neighbourhood. About 15 mins walk to centre. Lovely host, who was there for our arrival, was excellent at communication before arrival and during our stay. Made us feel super comfortable and went above and beyond to make our stay excellent. Had lots of lovely recommendations for us. Very minor - but a tv or radio might have been a welcome addition for some background noise while getting ready for daily adventures. Super minor though.

• Sharankova (10/5): The most charming place in Milan - The most charming place in Milan. It is located in a real Milanese neighborhood with beautiful old buildings. It is not in the ideal center - 2 km from La Scala and the Duomo, but away from the crowds. The hostess is wonderful - very responsive. The place is tastefully furnished, the bed is extremely comfortable. There is everything you need for your stay, any equipment, it couldn't be better in a five-star hotel. The terrace is wonderful, sunny almost all day. I strongly recommend. There is no metro nearby, but there are buses and trams (for which there are no ticket machines, and you can only buy them from Tabachi - this is the case all over Italy).
